That said, you have a few options for cheap hair props. First would be DAZ's Platinum Club, it's $24 for 3 months, but you'll have a lot of $1.99 items to choose from, Platinum Club Hairs. I designed most of the hair-props from scratch using photoshop. That has a tendency to take way too much time and gets really quite annoying because I'm never really satisfied with the outcome. 6.
First of all: thanks to all the guys who commented on my previous renders. I have been busy moving and taking on a new job in the real world for the last couple of weeks and only took quick glances into this thread during that time.

Now I have started a little project that might be followed by a Dynasty in the future: I'm currently re-rendering all of the CV97 characters working for GCG. 8. Well, thank you all for the kind words. I'm quite happy with how the results I get with DAZ are coming along. I still feel the lack of different hair and facial hair presets I collected for DAZ really limit me in what I can achieve. I have to do alot of work with photoshop after the actual rendering process. Eastwood, this guy... http://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q658/Shinsuke87/myrenders/Shinsuke_AsianMale015_alt.jpg~original ... already somewhat resembles a certain bad-ass Suzuki Minoru. That's total coincedence though and maybe I will give it a more intentional shot in the future. As I did with the following render actually, that I styled very much after the great Shinya Hashimoto. http://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q658/Shinsuke87/myrenders/Shinsuke_AsianMale018.jpg~originalhttp://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q658/Shinsuke87/myrenders/Shinsuke_AsianMale018_alt.jpg~original

 13. Yeah that one got me started. Didn't find anything about morphing facial features in there at first. Now I found out that there actually is some talking about a "morphs++" bundle in there. I checked daz3d.com and it seems similar morph-packages for the Genesis base can be bought. But is there no way to manually manipulate facial features so that you can get different-looking renders out of the simple Genesis pack. In other words, without having to buy stuff?
 14.
I've been toying with Daz Studio a little today, wanting to finally try my hand at rendering. I got the Genesis Base model and have gotten first (very basic) results which is nice. Now I don't know how to go into more detail with the Genesis model. How do I manually manipulate stuff like head shape, eye position, nose etc. ?

Any help would be appreciated, might be I only need a pointer towards some good tutorial that I have not yet managed to discover. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
