  1. Eh, I think this is basically the WWE's fault for not having security there to prevent it. Punk was standing there for thrity seconds getting smacked in the back until he lost it and retaliated; admittedly at the wrong person. It's never good for a wrestler to hit a fan, but they put Punk in a bad position having to stand there and watch Vince cut a promo while being surrounded by a mob of fans with security no where to be seen.
  2. So did anything interesting happen in the first 40 minutes? I forgot about RAW being 3 hours and didn't tune in until now.
  3. TNA is currently suing WWE over allegations they are using illegally gained information from a former TNA employee about contracts in order to tempt their employees to jump ship to their company; specifically mentioning Flair in the lawsuit. WWE has denied this; claiming to have no interest in signing any current TNA talent, but are in the position where if they negotiate with any TNA wrestlers they'll be giving ammunition for TNA to use in court. As a result TNA has leverage in knowing none of their employees can leave for the WWE and apparently been using that to lowball their wrestler in contract negotiations. I heard about this from a few places, but here are a few articles on the lawsuit.
  4. I don't really think he had any credibility to lose in the first place; he was already pretty much the guy who loses to everyone. At least with this storyline he's getting a little bit of promo time to heel it up and give people a reason to want to see him to get crushed by legends.
  5. That was a great heel turn by Punk. I thought Punk might turn heel, but it was perfectly executed and I honestly was surprised when he Clothes-lined The Rock out of nowhere. The way he turned was great because if he had just attacked Cena he would have gotten cheered by a good portion of the crowd, but cutting the Rock off before he can hit the people's elbow on the nostalgia show is going to get everyone in the arena to boo you. To be fair it's not like Heath Slater ever really had a shot of being a headliner in the WWE. I've enjoyed watching him get beaten up by legends far more than anything else he's been involved in.
  6. I'm happy that TNA was willing to really focus on the X-Division in this PPV. A year or two ago I don't think they would have been willing to book it like this, but I'm glad they were willing to risk it. The only people without ties to the X-Division on the card were Angle and Roode, and in both cases they lost to their (former) X-Division Opponent. I think it did a good job of putting over the importance of the X-Division and showing that the division is still meaningful. Not every match on the card was great by any means, but I like the message TNA is sending in being confident enough in their X-Division to run a PPV focused on them.
  7. I haven't watches all that many anime shows, but you've done a good job with the reviews and I mostly agree with what you've said. I saw Baccano when it was free on Hulu and I really enjoyed it. I suppose the shifting time thing was a little gimmicky, but I enjoyed it quite a bit and wouldn't mind watching it again. I've watched some Cowboy Bebop back when it used to be on Adult Swim and enjoyed it, but I really should watch the series in order so the plot is more meaningful. I have seen all of Death Note. I enjoyed it, but not quite as much as you did and I don't really have an urge to re-watch it like I have with the other two. Are you going to be reviewing Full Metal Alchemist/Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood? I enjoyed both series (the latter more so) and would be interested in hearing your opinions if you've seen it.
