Later on in the show, it is revealed that it is now official. Commish RDJ has approved the matchup, and now Jameson & Fonzarelli will do battle at <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Hotter Than Hell!</strong></span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>**</strong></span> After his victory over Capitao Brasil Jr., <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Davis Wayne Newton</strong></span> and his manager Haley Buck are heading out of the arena. They are surprised, though, to find Commissioner <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Ricky Dale Johnson</strong></span> standing by on the interview stage and calling them over. After Newton and Buck joins RDJ, the Commish also calls out <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Joshua Taylor</strong></span> to join them on the stage. Tensions mount as the two heated rivals face off! After warning them that he wants nothing physical to go down, RDJ explains why he has brought them both onto the interview stage.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> This rivalry you’ve got going on? It’s gone on too long! You guys seemingly can’t get past each other, so I’m going to do it for you! You both have a singles win over each other, so we need a rubber match. But first, <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>next week on Total Wrestling? You will compete in a Tag Team Match, and you both get to choose your partners. The winner of the tag match gets choose the stipulations for the rubber match!</strong></span> But until the tag match? I don’t want my staff breaking up another brawl between you two. Because if they do? You guys will be finding your paychecks awfully light this month!</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>***</strong></span> Kyle Rhodes welcomes his guests <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>One Man Army and his manager Vita</strong></span> onto the interview stage. The purpose of the interview is simple and to the point. <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Who has One Man Army chosen to be his tag team partner to challenge The Shade Gang for the Tag Team Titles, next Tuesday on Total Wrestling?</strong></span> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Vita:</strong> When Commissioner RDJ said it could be anyone…we took him for real. While Army and I wish <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Human Arsenal</strong></span> was right beside us next Tuesday, it’s just not possible with his injury. But, we did talk this over with Arsenal, and he agrees with our choice. Ya see, we heard a certain someone is supposed to debut in-ring next Tuesday on Total Wrestling. Hearing that to be the case, we could not think of anyone else better to be our choice. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> Vita, do you mean who I think you mean?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Vita:</strong> Oh, you know who I mean! When Total Wrestling is all said and done next week, One Man Army will be once again wearing Tag Team Gold, and he’ll be wearing it with…</p><p> </p><p> <strong>One Man Army:</strong>… <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>JOSS…THOMPSON!</strong></span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>****</strong></span> After his impressive victory over Nate Johnson in the main event, Television Champion <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Mainstream Hernandez</strong></span> calls for a mic. With the gold shining on his shoulder, Hernandez hypes his upcoming title defense next week against <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Aztec Prince,</strong></span> and also gives his thoughts on how Syndicate stole the title shot from Masked Cougar.</p><p> </p><p> That’s when “Destiny” by AF begins to play. Out through the curtains comes the former TV Champion, Destiny’s <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Greg Gauge,</strong></span> accompanied by Juliet Balconi. Standing in front of the curtains, Gauge issues a warning to Hernandez from across the arena.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Gauge:</strong> Good luck next week Hernandez, but don’t forget. You owe me a title rematch! RDJ might have postponed our rematch, but my personal lawyer is dealing with that right now. After I beat <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Aaron Andrews</strong></span> for the World Title at Hotter Than Hell? I’m coming back for you, and I’m taking back my TV Title! <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>I’m going to be the first man to wear both the TCW World and TCW Television Title at the same time!</strong></span> You can’t stop destiny, James, and my destiny is to take my title back! </p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#0000FF;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Friday Afternoon</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#0000FF;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"> BriCo Headquarters</span></strong></span></p><p> </p><p> <em>The CEO of Total Championship Wrestling </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Kyle Rhodes</strong></span></em><em> finishes up the meeting in the boardroom specifically assigned to TCW in BriCo Headquarters. This meeting used to happen weekly when Kyle still was the Head Booker of TCW. It used to be a Creative Meeting mere months ago. Kyle’s invite for </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Ricky Dale Johnson</strong></span></em><em> to join the Creative Meeting was how RDJ rejoined the company. Half a year later, Kyle decided to name RDJ the Head Booker when he realized just how beneficial it was to have Rick behind the scenes, working close with the roster. Now, it was just a meeting for the top staff in TCW to get together and discuss the company’s current status. It wasn’t weekly anymore, everyone involved was too busy with their assignments for that. Instead, once or twice a month, Kyle would assign a date for all of his tops guy to meet up at BriCo Headquarters.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> For a couple hours, Kyle broke the company down step by step. First, of course, would be Kyle giving the state of the company. The CEO kept the company’s finances tight to his chest, but he would always tell his top men enough. RDJ could tell by the smile on Kyle’s face that it was a good month financially for the company. Kyle was also proud to mention that TCW had been once again </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>ranked higher than USPW in August.</strong></span></em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> After Kyle speaks, the meeting is broken down into primarily four parts. It starts with RDJ and his upcoming plans for the main roster. Then, it was onto </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Marvin Ernest,</strong></span></em><em> CEO of TCW’s child company, </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Elite Championship Wrestling.</strong></span></em><em> Marvin, too, would let the group know about his current product, but also brought up the discussion of which wrestlers were shining down there, thus marking their tickets for a future call up to TCW. </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Brent Hill</strong></span></em><em> was deeply involved in this topic as well. As the President of TCW’s Developmental Facility, Brent worked closely with Marvin while also leading the training aspect of the company’s young wrestlers. That leads to </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Joel Bryant,</strong></span></em><em> Head Scout for TCW. Joel now did what he loved most. Traveled the country, sometimes outside the country, exploring the independent scene. It was Joel’s job to find the talent that the wrestling world had yet to witness. For the most part, RDJ didn’t know the majority of the names that Joel spoke about, but he trusted Joel’s judgment. A lot of TCW’s best workers were in the company because of Joel’s due diligence.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> Alright, good meeting folks. I miss doing this weekly, but we’re all awfully busy nowadays, and that’s a good thing. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hill:</strong> If we weren’t busy, then we’d probably out of jobs.</p><p> </p><p> <em>The entire room has a good laugh over Hill’s joke.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> Ain’t that the truth. Okay, unless someone anything else to say. Let’s call it a day. We’ll do this again real soon.</p><p> </p><p> <em>As soon as RDJ finished saying his goodbyes to the rest of the group, what he expected to happen does in fact happen.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> Hey Rick, come here. I need to show you something before you leave.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Kyle did it everytime, there was always that extra something he needed to talk to Rick about. Rick didn’t mind, he found it funny in fact. Kyle just cared about the company that much. That’s why </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Kyle wanted to purchase it from BriCO,</strong></span></em><em> and ensure TCW’s future for years to come. Also, there always will be a little Head Booker in Kyle, no matter how much Kyle claimed he didn’t miss the job. </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> As the boardroom began to empty, RDJ joins Kyle at the head of the table. Kyle doesn’t get up from his seat. Instead, he insists RDJ sit down next to him. Kyle opens up his laptop and went to work on it.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> There’s someone I’d like you to meet, if you haven’t already. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> Aw hell, Kyle. You didn’t replace me already, have you?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> *chuckles* No, not yet, but she might be good enough to kick you to the curb.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> She? </p><p> </p><p> <em>Making a Facetime call on his laptop, a face that RDJ recognized popped up on screen. On the other end, </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Joanne Rodriguez</strong></span></em><em> smiled after confirming that the connection was good.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> Joanne, sorry. I’m running a little late calling you. Hope I didn’t hold you up. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>J-Ro:</strong> No problem at all. I was just sitting here, editing my latest <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Podcast</strong></span> episode. How are you?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> Good, thank you! Rick, have you met Joanne before?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> Unfortunately no, but I’ve heard plenty to be honored. Nice to meet you, Joanne.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>J-Ro:</strong> Nice to meet you, Rick, and likewise!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> Rick, I have some pretty big news. <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Joanne is joining us,</strong></span> and in fact taking on a big role. I told you about my plans to build a women’s division in TCW, and Joanne has agreed to help us do that.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> That’s great news. Nice to have you on board, Joanne.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>J-Ro:</strong> Thank you, glad to be on board.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> Joanne will be working closely with Joel and the scouting department, using her knowledge of the women’s wrestling industry to help us decide who to bring in. Before we establish the women’s division on the main roster, we’ll have a bunch of them do some work down in ECW. Joanne then will also help Marvin down there, and help our female wrestlers find their footing. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> Wow Kyle, you weren’t kidding about building a solid women’s division. I didn’t realize how far along you were with all this.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> Like I told you last week, Rick, <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>I think the women’s division is the next big step for TCW.</strong></span> I want to make sure it’s built right, and Joanne to going to help us do that. Right, Joanne?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>J-Ro:</strong> That’s right. I always want to give back to this business, even after my wrestling days. I see a lot of women out there just waiting for their opportunity, and I want to try to help them get it. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> I hope we can do that, too. But, the reason I wanted you guys to meet right now is because <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Joanne here has also spoken about her desire to become a personality on television.</strong></span> I’m sure there’s something you and Joanne could cook up.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> For someone as talented as Joanne? Of course! I’m sure we can figure something out. Are you going to start to come to the television shows soon?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>J-Ro:</strong> Yup, I’ll be there next week at Total Wrestling, in fact. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> Perfect. I’ll give it some thought, you give it some thought, and we’ll work on some ideas when we meet up at Total Wrestling. How does that sound?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>J-Ro:</strong> Sure, but I have an question for you, Rick. Would you be cool with <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>being a guest on my podcast?</strong></span> We could grab something to eat and knock it all out in one seating.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> You want my old rear for a podcast? Are you sure those kiddies want to hear what grandpa has to say?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>J-Ro:</strong> Are you kidding, Rick? You’d be one of my biggest guests, the former World Champion. I’d bet your interview would be one of the most downloaded episodes, guaranteed.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> I think you’re highly overrating my star value. Nevertheless, I’d be more than happy to do the interview. Early Tuesday then?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>J-Ro:</strong> Early Tuesday it is! </p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p>

Cue the boos, </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>The Syndicate</strong></span></em><em> head down to the ring. Leader </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Wolf Hawkins and Akima Brave</strong></span></em><em> are dressed to wrestle, while </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Chris Flynn</strong></span></em><em> accompanies them in street clothes. A smirking Hawkins calls for a mic and proceeds to bash </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Mighty Mo</strong></span></em><em>. He mocks Mo about how he and fellow Syndicate </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Aztec Prince</strong></span></em><em> put the Mighty One through the announce table on Saturday Night Showcase.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hawkins:</strong> That only leaves one thing to discuss. Mo, when are you going to learn? When are you going to realize that you can’t beat me? When are you going to realize that you can’t beat the Syndicate? Keep standing back up for the sake of your pride, and we will keep knocking you down! Mo…this isn’t a fight you can win…so stay down!</p><p> </p><p> <em>Hawkins turns to the curtains.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hawkins:</strong> Which brings me to <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Tana The Mighty.</strong></span> That overgrown freak was so upset about what I did to his friend that he demanded a tag team match with the Syndicate tonight. Not just the Syndicate, he demanded that I…ME! He wants me involved! Well big guy, ask and you shall receive! You want a fight? We’ll put you on the shelf, right next to your buddy, Mo!</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#0000FF;"><strong>Tana & T-Bone Vs. The Syndicate (Wolf Hawkins & Akima Brave)</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#0000FF;"> Unfortunately for Tana & T-Bone, Wolf Hawkins is able to back up his words tonight. For awhile, Tana & T-Bone has The Syndicate reeling. Tana even gets his hands on Hawkins and gets a beating that Wolf will feel in the morning. Tana sets Hawkins up for a Double Handed Chokeslam. But, with Referee Bull trying to break up a brawl between T-Bone & Brave, the illegal men in the match, Chris Flynn takes advantage. Flynn sneaks and delivers a boot to the face, rocking the giant Tana! Flynn is out of the ring before Referee Bull notices, and Hawkins flies through the air and hits the Full Moon Rising on Tana! Brave keeps T-Bone busy as Hawkins pins Tana for the 1,2,3. </span><span style="color:#0000FF;"><strong>A big tag team win for The Syndicate.</strong></span></p><p> </p><p> <strong>MC Motormouth:</strong> When are these boys going to learn? They’re tired of the cheating, they’re tired of the ambushes. They have to do something.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>MC Motormouth:</strong> Do what? Continue to get beat up? Continue to lose? Cause that’s what is going to happen!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jason Azara:</strong> Nevertheless, Mighty Mo isn’t here tonight after what happened on Showcase, but you know he’s watching, and he’s itching to get back. 5. A quick fyi, if you check out my booking picture for Saturday Night Showcase, Andrews/Hernandez Vs. Destiny was actually booked as a Cage Match. Yeah....that was a mistake, a mistake I didn't even realize I made until AFTER I wrote up the results for the diary. It was supposed to be a standard tag team match. My bad!
  6. TCW Saturday Saturday Night Showcase August 2020 Edition 2 Out of 3 Falls Tag Team Match Benny & The Foxx Vs. Freddy Corp (Julian Watson & Roderick Remus Freddy Huggins joins commentary to watch his Freddy Corp. finish off their feud with Benny Benson & Jimmy Foxx. Foxx is ready to put Remus away inside the ring, but gets tripped by Laura Huggins when he goes to run off the ropes. The distraction works, Foxx focuses on Laura, allowing Remus to hit Jimmy with a flying knee to the back. As Watson pulls Benson off the apron and brawl outside the ring, Remus hits Foxx with his patented Brainbuster Suplex, then rolls through, locking on the Remus Clutch! Foxx is stuck in middle of the ring, and is forced to tap! Freddy Corp. takes Fall #1! Jason Azaria: It’s 1-0 early for Watson & Remus. Freddy Huggins: Of course, it is! Keep it up, boys! Freddy Corp. attack Foxx immediately at the start of the second fall. Watson & Remus attempt the Double Back Body Toss, but Foxx manages to break off behind them. Foxx dropkicks Remus in the back, sending him to the floor, and then hits Watson with a Tornado DDT when Julian tries to lift him up. Benson gets the tag and goes on a tear! Benson wipes both Watson & Remus out with a Double Cross Body Block. Foxx takes cares of Watson outside the ring as Benson heads to the top rope. Shockwave From Next Year, hit perfectly on Remus! 1,2,3! Benny & The Foxx take Fall#2! Mitch Naess: It’s all tied up! Freddy Huggins: Come on, Freddy Corp.! Get it together! Benson tries to keep the momentum going, but Remus slows him down with a rake to the eyes, followed by a Freddy Corp. Double Flapjack for a nearfall. Watson looks to finish it is with the Tiger Claw DDT, but Foxx retaliates against Freddy Corp.’s dirty tactics by breaking it up with a Flying Double Axe Handle. Foxx gets the tag, and it’s all out mayhem now, all four men going at it. Foxx attempts a suicide dive outside the ring, but Watson & Remus manages to catch him and throw him into the steel steps! Freddy Corp. double teams Benson in-ring, but Benny thwarts a Double Suplex attempt by sending both Watson & Remus flipping with a flying headscissors. Remus is sent rolling out of the ring as Foxx heads to the top rope. Benson hoists Remus up as Foxx connects with the Flying Foxx! 1,2,3! Benny & The Foxx win the match! Jason Azaria: A big win for Benny & Foxx, and I think it’s safe to say their reunion is officially a success. MC Motormouth: I don’t know, it feels like a fluke to me. Right Freddy? Freddy? Freddy Huggins doesn’t answer Motormouth, but instead storms away from the commentary. Freddy leaves his entire stable behind him and departs from the arena, apparently disgusted to see Benny & The Foxx win. Mitch Naess: It sure does seem these issues with his sister Laura and Sammy Bach are really getting to Freddy. MC Motormouth: A minor setback! I’m sure Freddy and his Corp. will bounce back very soon. Jason Azaria: As for Benny & The Foxx, you have to believe they just put themselves at the front of the line for a future Tag Team Title Match. The former champs could eventually be Two-Timers! Mr. Lucha Vs. Chance Fortune Mr. Lucha faces his biggest challenge to date against the longtime TCW veteran Fortune. A ton of back of forth between two athletic men, and it looks like for a moment Fortune might end Lucha’s streak. But, Lucha manages to reverse Fortune’s Stroke of Luck attempt in a big German Suplex. Lucha follows up with his patented Lucha Sault and gets the 3. Lucha picks up another big win in his young TCW career! Mitch Naess: The roster better start keeping an eye out. Mr. Lucha is plowing through the competition right now, and he doesn’t show any sign of slowing down. Jason Azaria: Certainly, Mr. Lucha is one of the brightest new stars in TCW. Backstage, The Shade Gang confronts Commissioner Ricky Dale Johnson and try to get the Commish to tell them who their Mystery Tag Title Challengers are tonight. Troy Tornado calls it an injustice that Marc Speed & Matt Hocking don’t know their opponents, but RDJ hears none of it. But, when Shade Gang goes to walk away, RDJ stops them. RDJ: Hold on there, Troy. No need to follow your buddies out to the ring. You have a match tonight. Tornado: What do you mean? I have no match scheduled! RDJ: Well, ya do now! So go get ready, because you guys injured Human Arsenal? You, Troy, get to go one-on-one with Arsenal’s tag partner, One Man Army! The entire group start to complain, but RDJ shuts that down quickly. RDJ: Yeah yeah yeah, I don’t want to hear it. Troy, you can go get your gear on, and you can forget about Speed & Hocking being at ringside for your match, too. Mighty Mo Vs. Aztec Prince Referee Bull loses control of this match pretty fast. Nothing technical about this one, it is a flat out, ugly brawl. Mo is out for revenge, and Prince is more than ready for a fight. Eventually, the fight leads to outside the ring, and nothing Referee Bull does can get the competitors back in the ring. Bull lets it slide for awhile, but the competitors push it too far. When Bull tries get in between them, Mo shoves the referee away. When Bull tries again, Prince tosses the referee aside! Referee Bull has no choice but to call for the bell and Disqualify Both Mo & Prince! That doesn’t stop the fight, though! Jason Azaria: Mo and Prince took it too far, and now both are leaving Showcase without a win! The fight continues at ringside in front of the announce table. Aztec Prince attempts to whip Mighty Mo into the steel steps, but Mo reverses the whip into a powerful clothesline. Prince gets up, only for Mo to smash his face off the announce table. Mo begins to strip clean the announce table, and yells at the announcers to get out of the way. Mitch Naess: Well, time to go. MC Motormouth: You don’t have to tell me twice… Mighty Mo begins to set Prince up for a Powerbomb, but all of sudden he gets a steel chair cracked across his spine by none other than the Syndicate leader, Wolf Hawkins! When Mo turns around, Hawkins drives the chair into Mo’s ribs. The beatdown begins by the Syndicate, and then Hawkins gives Prince his orders. Prince shows off his amazing strength, lifting Mo up, AND POWERBOMBING HIM THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE! Jason Azaria: My God! Aztec Prince just absolutely destroyed Mighty Mo! Our announce table has been broken to bits! Mitch Naess: Mo is hurt guys. We need the medical team help out here. Hawkins is all smiles as he stands over Mo, talking a little trash. The icing on the cake, Hawkins proudly raises his protégé Prince’s arm in the air, as if he won the match. Cue a big bunch of boos from the live crowd. MC Motormouth: When is Mighty Mo going to learn? He cannot beat Wolf Hawkins, he cannot beat the numbers of The Syndicate. Jason Azaria: I hate to say it, but that appears to be the case. Mo’s war with the Syndicate has led to nothing but tragedy for him. TCW World Tag Team Championship Match The Shade Gang (Marc Speed & Matt Hocking) Vs. ????? The arena grows as Speed & Hocking wait in the ring to find out who is Commissioner RDJ’s handpicked challengers for the Tag Team Champion. After a long pause, “Dare” by Gorillaz begins to play, erupting the crowd into cheers. Speed & Hocking are already complaining to Referee Johnson as Dharma Gregg leads out her men, Tana The Mighty & T-Bone Bright! Mitch Naess: Oh boy…Tana & T-Bone are coming off two big tag team wins in previous weeks, and it looks like RDJ has awarded them for their success! MC Motormouth: This is insane! How can you think this is fair, making the champs fight Tana & T-Bone without notice? They’re twice the size of Speed & Hocking! Jason Azaria: It’s called a punishment, MC! That’s what they get for deliberately injuring another competitor! MC Motormouth: This isn’t a punishment! This is downright torture! \ The size difference is perfectly clear, as Tana & T-Bone use it to control and dominate the Tag Team Champions for most of the match. But, Speed & Hocking actually manage to take the giant Tana down by the left knee. They keep Tana down, pulling and tearing at that knee. But all it takes is one mistake, Hocking trying to go aerial, and Tana turns the tide with a single giant chop to the cranium. T-Bone gets the tag, and all out mayhem ensues. Referee Johnson loses control of this match as all four men go at it. As T-Bone and Speed duke it out in the ring, Tana stalks Hocking around ringside, chopping Matt and whipping him into the barricade. Suddenly, behind Referee Johnson’s back, The Syndicate’s Akima Brave & Chris Flynn appear and attack Tana at ringside! Mitch Naess: Are you kidding me?! The Syndicate are back at it already! Both T-Bone and the referee don’t see The Syndicate attacking Tana at ringside. Dharma Gregg tries to get their attention, but the action in-ring between T-Bone and Speed is too heated. Together, Brave & Flynn send Tana hard into the steel steps! Tana is down and hurt, while The Syndicate disappear as if they were never there! Having no clue what happened, T-Bone is left alone with Shade Gang. The heavyweight tries to hold his own, but eventually the numbers disadvantage is too much. Speed & Hocking manage to lift up T-Bone, then plant him with their Elevated DDT! 1,2,3! The Shade Gang retain the Tag Team Titles! Jason Azaria: Unbelievable! The Shade Gang has managed to sneak their away with the gold. MC Motormouth: Believe it! What a courageous, impressive victory by the Tag Team Champions. Mitch Naess: Are you kidding? Did you see the match? Mc Motormouth: I see Speed & Hocking leaving with the titles. Isn’t that what matters? The Shade Gang make their 1st successful title defense. They have been the TCW World Tag Team Champions for 13 days. This is both Speed & Hocking’s 1st reign as TCW Tag Team Champions. Kyle Rhodes is standing by on the interview stage, where he introduces Sammy Bach to a huge pop. Rhodes questions Bach about his issues with Freddy Huggins, and how he came out on Total Wrestling to save Laura Cathertine Huggins from her brother’s rage. Bach: Kyle, I didn’t save anyone. I just did what was right. I don’t know what’s going on in the Huggins family, but I do know one thing. You don’t treat a woman like Freddy has been treating his sister! Freddy keeps on going around, blaming Laura for his loss to me at Summer Showdown. When, last time I checked? I didn’t make Laura tap out. I made Freddy tap out! Rhodes: So, where does this leave you now with Freddy Huggins? Bach: Frankly? I don’t know, but if Freddy needs to be taught a lesson about respect? Then I’ll be more than happy to be the man to give it to him! Joshua Taylor Vs. Wolf Hawkins Taylor takes Hawkins’s best shots, refuses to give up, and rallies back into the match. Taylor thwarts Hawkins’s attempt at a Superplex, instead hitting Wolf with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb. Taylor heads back to the top rope, flies off when Hawkins returns to his feet, and connects with a perfect Flying Knee to the face! The cover, 1,2,Kickout! Taylor calls for the end, looking to lock in the Butterfly Lock, when suddenly “Man with a Plan” by Chapel of Rock begins to play. Taylor immediately turns to the entranceway. Mitch Naess: That’s Davis Wayne Newton’s music, but where is he? Jason Azaria: Something doesn’t seem right here. Taylor continues to wait for his heated rival to appear, but instead, Newton’s music just stops playing. Taylor shakes it off and returns his attention to Hawkins. Taylor attempts to lock on the Butterfly Lock, but Hawkins fights it and rolls through. Both men charge each other, and Hawkins drops Taylor with a Jumping Knee to the face. As Taylor struggles to recover, Hawkins flies! The Full Moon Rising! He hits it! The cover, 1,2,3! Wolf Hawkins picks up the big win. Mitch Naess: What just happened?! Why did Newton’s music play? MC Motormouth: Clearly a malfunction, Mitch. But, more importantly, Wolf Hawkins picks up another huge win on his way back into the World Title picture. Jason Azaria: Wait, you think that was a malfunction? Mitch Naess: More like someone got paid $50 in the production truck to play a trick on Joshua Taylor… One Man Army Vs. Troy Tornado Without his Shade Gang buddies out there to help Tornado, Troy finds himself in trouble against a determined, vengeful One Man Army. Tornado is able to slow Army down a moment with a rake to the eyes when Referee Long is out of place, but isn’t able to capitalize. Army manages to recover and leaves Tornado reeling. Army connects with the Guided Missile and gets the 1,2,3! One Man Army picks up the victory and a little payback for his partner, Human Arsenal. Jason Azaria: I’m sure One Man Army would have rather been teaming with Human Arsenal tonight, but you have to believe that win over Tornado had to be sweet. Mitch Naess: I’m sure it did. We don’t have a time table for Arsenal’s recovery, but when he does return? W.M.D. contractually deserve a title rematch against Shade Gang, and you can bet they’re going to make sure they get it! Backstage, Destiny cut a promo, hyping their upcoming tag team match against Aaron Andrews & Mainstream Hernandez. Jay Chord & Greg Gauge are awfully confident going into their match with the World Heavyweight and Television Champion. Chord: Tonight? We put the name Destiny on the map. Everyone learns that it’s not just some gimmick, it’s not just moniker. It is a revelation, it is a prophecy ready to be fulfilled. Greg & I are destined to rule Total Championship Wrestling, to rule the entire wrestling world. This industry runs through our veins, and no matter what Andrews and Hernandez might think of themselves? That isn’t something they can say. Gauge: Andrew and Hernandez might be wearing championship gold right now, but we’re not talking about a single title reign. We’re talking about a dynasty! We are talking about being on top of this industry for years to come. And just like Jay said, tonight is the night. Tonight? Destiny has its official coming out party! Fatal Four Way Match Doc Hammond Vs. Davis Wayne Newton Vs. Frederique Vs. Masked Cougar Newton looks to be ready to punch his ticket to a future TCW Television Title Match after dodging Cougar’s attempt at the Cougar Pounce, instead hitting Cougar with a punishing Neckbreaker. Newton sets Cougar up for his Fisherman’s Suplex, but he gets dragged out of the ring by an enraged Joshua Taylor! MC Motormouth: Hey! Taylor has no business getting involved in this match! Mitch Naess: Come on, MC! You know Newton deserves this after earlier tonight! Haley Buck screams at Taylor as he pummels away at her client Newton. The two men begin to brawl all the way up the entrance stage! Meanwhile, back in the ring, Frederique fights off Hammond’s attempt at the Texas Cloverleaf. Frederique attempts to hit the Romeo is Bleeding, but Hammond breaks free, and instead plants Frederique his patented Exploder Suplex! Hammond covers Frederique, 1,2, Cougar comes flying off the top rope! I Am Cougar, Hear Me Roar! Cougar crashes down onto both Hammond and Frederique before the three count! Cougar covers Frederique, 1,2,3! Masked Cougar picks up the win and the TV Title shot! Jason Azaria: Wow! Masked Cougar snatches away the victory, probably the biggest win of his TCW career! Mitch Naess: That’s just the way a Fatal Four Way goes! But think about this. Mainstream Hernandez versus Masked Cougar for the TV Title? What an amazing match that is going to be! Back from commercials, a sit down interview is played, as Kyle Rhodes talks to TCW World Heavyweight Champion Aaron Andrews about his victory over Jay Chord at Summer Showdown. Breaking down the match, Andrews gives his thoughts on one of the biggest matches in TCW history. Andrews: Jay Chord gave me one of the toughest fights I ever had. Jay took me to the brink, and he is certainly as good as he think he is. Jay will go down as one of the best wrestlers in this business, I have no doubt about it. But, this is my time. This is the Aaron Andrews Era in TCW, and I intend to keep it going for a very long time. Rhodes: Some have said your match with Jay Chord isn’t without some controversy. The way that the Special Enforcer Joss Thompson got involved. Jay Chord even blames Joss for his loss to you. What would you say to that claim? Andrews: Jay Chord has no one to blame but himself. He got frustrated when he couldn’t beat me, so he tried to use a chair. If he had just stayed calm and focused, hell, maybe he would be the World Champion right now. But to be World Champion? You need more than just talented. You need awareness, instinct, and even some dumb luck. Jay was clearly lacking all that at Summer Showdown. As for Joss Thompson? He was just doing his job as the special enforcer, making sure a foreign object wasn’t used. Rhodes: You and Joss Thompson had a little of a face off after the match. Joss seemed to be quite interested in your World Title. Do you think we will see you two battle in the ring in the future? Andrews grins at the question. Andrews: I’m counting on it! IT’S TIME FOR THE MAIN EVENT! Aaron Andrews & Mainstream Hernandez Vs. Destiny Hernandez manages to tag Andrews into the match after taking quite the beating from Jay Chord & Greg Gauge. Andrews beats up both Chord & Gauge, then knocks both of them to the floor. Andrews tags back in Hernandez, who goes flying over the top rope, wiping out Destiny with a Somersault Plancha! Gauge & Hernandez battle back into the ring, while Andrews & Chord brawl around ringside. Andrews sends Chord into the barricade, then charges. Andrews attempts his patented Spear, but Chord dodges it! Andrews goes crashing through the barricade! BOOM! Mitch Naess: Oh My God! Back in the ring, Hernandez rocks Gauge with a Super Kick, then goes for his finisher. Hernandez starts running up the turnbuckles to hit the Apparition #14 on Gauge, but Chord races across the apron and pulls Hernandez down by the leg, crotching him on the top turnbuckle! Gauge takes advantage of Chord’s work and lifts Hernandez onto his shoulders! The Broken Gauge! Gauge hits it! The cover, 1,2,3! Destiny wins the Tag Team Main Event! MC Motormouth: What an impressive win by Chord & Gauge. Destiny just showed the world what a fine, oiled machine they are! Mitch Naess: Greg Gauge just pinned the man who took the TV Title away from him. That should definitely make the title picture awfully muddy. Referee Young attempts to raise Jay Chord and Greg Gauge’s hands in victory, but Destiny push the referee away. Instead, they start to kick away at Mainstream Hernandez on the mat. Referee Young gets thrown aside when he attempts to break it up. Jason Azaria: Come on! This isn’t necessary! You already won the dang match! Aaron Andrews slides back into the ring and starts to fight both Chord and Gauge, hoping to save Hernandez from the beatdown. After dropping both men, Andrews looks to hit Gauge with the Ace in the Hole, but Chord blindsides Aaron before he can do so. Destiny now begins the double team on Andrews. All of sudden, the crowd erupts to the sound of “A Thousand Fists” by Disturbed. Mitch Naess: Oh Boy! Here comes trouble for Chord & Gauge! Destiny turns towards the curtains, anticipating Joss Thompson to come through the curtains. But instead, Thompson appears through the crowd and tackles Jay Chord from behind. The crowd goes nuts as Thompson pummels Chord and Gauge back and forth. Just when it looks like Destiny might overwhelm Thompson, Aaron Andrews is back up and swinging. Andrews and Thompson bring the fight to Destiny, knocking them all over the ring! Thompson goes to hit Gauge with the Clean Clutter, but Chord pulls Gauge free before it can happen. Destiny flees from the ring! Jason Azaria: I don’t know if Joss Thompson was out here for a rescue, but he definitely saved Andrews & Hernandez from any possible injuries. Mitch Naess: Thompson got a little bit of revenge on Destiny, but I’m sure he was hoping for a lot more! MC Motormouth: Yeah yeah, that’s all details. All I know is that Chord and Gauge just defeated the World Heavyweight Champion AND the Television Champion, both at once! That’s all that matters! In ring, Aaron Andrews and Joss Thompson face off briefly, but the tension is broken up when Andrews offers a handshake. Thompson accepts it, but quickly breaks free to turn his attention to Destiny. As Chord & Gauge make their exit up the entrance stage, the two sides exchange threats, vowing revenge next time their paths cross. Jason Azaria: What a chaotic way to end the show, but that’s just the way it goes sometimes! Thank you for joining us tonight folks, and thank you for helping us celebrate the return of Saturday Night Showcase! Have a good night!

  8. August – Week 2 – 2020 Tuesday Afternoon Just Arriving For Tonight’s Episode of Total Wrestling Head Booker Ricky Dale Johnson and CEO Kyle Rhodes chat away as they head towards catering. RDJ knows that the coffee at catering isn’t going to be great, but he still needs a kick after the drive to The Ranch of San Antonio. Rhodes: So, are you cooking up anything special for tonight’s show? Anything we haven’t discussed? RDJ: *thinks about it* No, I’m pretty sure we went over everything I’d like to do tonight. The big swerve, setting up the big tag team match for Showcase. The Tag Title story swerve. The Bach-Huggins feud. I’m really invested in that story, I think that could be money. Rhodes: It certainly could be quite the soap opera, brewing this sibling drama. RDJ: Well, correct me if I’m wrong, but we’ve never seen issues between Freddy & Laura before. They’ve both been here for over a decade. I just thought…what if that relationship suddenly wasn’t as perfect as it always has been? Rhodes: I like it. We’re touching topics we haven’t done yet with the Huggins. You just reminded me, though. There’s something I wanted to toss at you to brainstorm. After pouring his coffee, RDJ turned back to Kyle while blowing on the hot beverage. RDJ: Oooooohhhhhh, do tell! Rhodes: Well, you know I’m trying to expand horizons this year with TCW… RDJ: Take over the world. Rhodes: *grins* Yes Rick, I’m trying to take over the world. I want to build a product that could hit any possible demographic. Deliver a product that the average person could tune in to and find something they like, and hopefully we hook them. RDJ: Sounds good, but what’s left? Not like we can start doing Death Matches with the sponsors we have. Never going to use a weed whacker in this company. Rhodes: *laughs* No, man! I’m talking about building a Women’s Division. I’d really like to eventually start up one. RDJ: Really? I guess that makes sense. But, where is the television time to build this division? Rhodes: Well, that’s where you got me. Hopefully, in the next year, we get more television time, and then we can really invest into creating the division. RDJ: Christ Rick, if you tell me I need to book another television show, I’m going to cry. I’m still learning how to do this job, for the love of god. Rhodes: *smiles* Well, eventually! But relax Rick, I’m not saying this is going to happen tomorrow. I’m looking at the bigger picture, and the bigger picture tells me we should have had a women's division a long time ago. RDJ: Yeah, I suppose you’re right. Rhodes: In the next year, I’d love to have more television time somewhere, and I’d love to get this women’s division off the ground. I think it would vastly improve our reach to the world. RDJ: Hell man, how much thought have you put into this? Rhodes: How much thought? I already have Joel Bryant scouting female wrestlers to hopefully recruit one day. He’s out there, letting them know that it’s in our plans. RDJ: Wow, you really are all over this. Speaking of which, any news on the you-know-what? RDJ knows better than to say it aloud, Kyle Rhodes’s attempt of purchasing TCW from BriCo. As far as RDJ knew, he was one of the few people that actually knew it was going down. Before answering Rick, Kyle looks around to make sure no one is listening to the conversation. Rhodes: It’s slow but steady. Lots of money, lots of contracts to discuss. As long as we don’t go backwards, I’d say it’s going okay. RDJ: Are you ever going to tell me who this big money benefactor is? The one who is helping you do this? Rhodes: *grins* You know I can’t do that, I told you already. By contract, they’re anonymous until its official. But when I can tell you, I’ll be sure to tell you. RDJ: *sarcastic* Yeah yeah, you and your dirty diplomatic secrets… RDJ cuts off the conversation when he sees Eddie Chandler, the newest (and only) member to Rick’s Booking Staff. Chandler greets the both of them, shaking hands with each. RDJ: Eddie, please tell me you coming bearing good news. Did you do what I asked? Chandler: I did. I stuck my butt in front of a monitor at each house show this week and watched Joss Thompson and Jay Chord wrestle over and over. RDJ: Good, good. So, please tell me we have gold waiting for us with their match at Hotter Than Hell. Chandler cringes a bit, not really wanting to answer. Both RDJ and Rhodes see it and groan. Rhodes: That bad? Chandler: I’m afraid so. I wouldn’t say zero chemistry, but their chemistry is pretty awful. Jay and Joss just seem to be two guys that don’t gel well together. RDJ: Crap…. Rhodes: Well…that’s why we do those house shows… RDJ: I guess. Could Jay and Joss tell it wasn’t going well? Chandler: I mean, they wouldn’t say it aloud. They’re too prideful to do that. But, you can see it in their eyes coming back from the ring. It just wasn’t there. Letting out a long sigh, RDJ rolls his eyes while carefully taking a sip of his coffee. Rhodes: So what now, “Booker Man”? What do you want to do? RDJ: I mean, what is there to do? With the Lethal Lottery Tournament going on, it doesn’t leave us many options. Rhodes: Were Jay and Joss going to main event the show? RDJ: *shakes head* No. I was going to promote it heavy the next three weeks, but it wasn’t going to go on last. What would you do, “Boss Man”? Rhodes: *grins* Is the match important to the story going on? RDJ: Absolutely crucial? No. But important? Yeah…yeah I’d say so. Kyle turns to Eddie Chandler. Rhodes: What do you think? You think Jay and Joss could put together a decent enough match on the P-P-V? Chandler: *shrugs* Sure, they’re plenty talented enough. Fans could buy into it for sure. We just have to lower expectations. I don’t think we’re going to get an instant classic by any means. Rhodes: Well…at this point, I’d say bite the bullet, and then never do the match again. RDJ: Yeah…I suppose you’re right. Well, here’s hoping my next plan doesn’t go to s***. Rhodes: And what plan is that? RDJ: Well…finding out if Andrews and Thompson can gel as tag team partners… Please Enjoy A Brand New Episode Of TCW Uprising! Uprising Shorts * It is revealed by One Man Army and Vita that fellow W.M.D. member Human Arsenal will be unable to compete this Saturday on Showcase. As a result, their Tag Team Title rematch against the new champions, The Shade Gang has been canceled. Later on in the show, The Shade Gang is interviewed by Kyle Rhodes inside the arena. Hocking, Speed, & Tornado are mighty proud of their actions, brutally attacking Human Arsenal and injuring him on Total Wrestling. They try to defend their actions, though, claiming Arsenal started the fight backstage, but…everyone can tell they’re not exactly telling the truth! Tornado: Well…I guess that means Shade Gang officially don’t have any to do this Saturday on Showcase. We’re going to enjoy the fine weekend off…with the Tag Team gold, of course! That comment brings out Commissioner Ricky Dale Johnson to interrupt the interview, and he brings some news that the Shade Gang doesn’t care for. RDJ: Wow, you really think that is how it’s going to go down? You just injured one of the challengers, and I just give you the weekend off? Hell, children, if that was how it worked, I would have injured people left and right when I was still an active wrestler! No, this is how it’s going down. No, W.M.D. cannot compete as a team this Saturday. But you guys? Speed & Hocking? You are STILL are defending those Tag Team Titles! So, your butts are going to show up this weekend, and your opponents? Well…you will just have to find out this Saturday, right before your match starts! Tornado: You’re not going to tell them their opponents? That’s not fair! RDJ: Fair? You should have thought of fair before you attacked Human Arsenal! Now, you can deal with the consequences! ** After having to see his stablemate Dazzling Dave Diamond injured by Kirk Jameson, then having a confrontation with Jameson this week on Total Wrestling, Beautiful Love’s Danny Fonzarelli is out for revenge. Fonzarelli wants a piece of Jameson, and officially challenges him to a one-on-one match. *** After watching his Sinner Society destroy some enhancement talent, Floyd Goldworthy took to the mic and talked a big game with his men huddled around him. Goldworthy: I don’t know what’s with this change of attitude by Eddie Peak, but if he thinks he can take on all my men, then he’s really lost his mind! But where is Eddie, anyway? I thought he was supposed to take my men out! He’s nowhere to be found! What happened Eddie? Are you afraid? Or did you just come to your senses? Goldworthy is suddenly interrupted by a loud, cackling laugh that we’ve all come to know. Suddenly, on grainy footage, the sadistic, grinning face of Eddie Peak appears on the titantron. Peak: Oh, Goldy, I haven’t gone anywhere. I am just building the anticipation. What’s a good story without a little anticipation? But don’t worry, Goldy, you will see me soon. Next week, I will begin to have my fun. Next week? The Purge Begins! **** After the main event, the credits roll, signaling the end of the show. But instead, we abruptly cut to Joss Thompson. His head covered by a hoodie, an irate Thompson paces back and forth before speaking. Thompson: Jay Chord…Greg Gauge…yeah…you got the best of me. I didn’t see it coming. And maybe I’m a little crazy to rush right back into the lion’s den, knowing what a deadly duo you two can be. But, it’s that little crazy that makes me who I am! You boys want a fight? Well, you came to the right man. But Jay? I’m not waiting until Hotter Than Hell for our singles match. Nah, I’m way too impatient for that. Thompson throws off his hood and stares into the camera. Thompson: I’ll be at Saturday Night Showcase, and you can bet your a** that I’m coming for both of you!
  9. 4 years 110K per month 20% Bonus Per Event 35% Merchandise Cut I started to have second thoughts when we got near the 100K mark, especially cause Zimmy is (surprisingly to me) 37. But, along with his star quality, Zimmy is statistically one of the best performers in the game. His psychology and fundamental skills are all 85+, stats in which I care a lot about. Like I said before, this is my last big free agent steal for awhile unless one of my personal favs come along or a guy like Golden becomes available. I feel good about the roster now, time to start focusing more on developing new stars.
  10. August– Week 2 – 2020 Please Enjoy A Brand New Episode Of TCW Presents Total Wrestling! Show introductions by the commentary team are interrupted by the sound of “Destiny” by NF. The fans are confused by the new theme at first, but then begin to boo when Juliet Balconi leads out Greg Gauge, who is soon followed by Jay Chord. As a trio, they make their way down to the ring. MC Motormouth: And here comes the men who left Aaron Andrews and Joss Thompson lying on the mat when we went off air last week. Jason Azaria: It’s been a long week, waiting for answers for what we saw on the last episode of Total Wrestling. I hope this means we’re about to get them. As the trio enter the ring, Juliet Balconi grabs a mic and hands it to her client, Greg Gauge. Gauge: Not too long ago, Jay Chord here revealed himself to be the masked man who repeatedly attacked Aaron Andrews, which included an attack that cost Aaron the World Title. Jay told you all about the deal he made with Wolf Hawkins, a deal in which Wolf would give Jay a future title match if he helped Wolf become the World Champion. It didn’t go as plan for Jay, but it was the deal nonetheless. But, here’s the thing. Jay didn’t lie to you about the deal…he just didn’t tell you the whole story. Jay never told you…that there were two masked men. Gauge pauses, looking over the crowd with a dastardly smirk. Gauge: Why do you think it was so easy for the masked man to sneak in and sneak out? Because…it was a two man job! One man wore the mask, the other man kept our lovely Commissioner and his security busy enough backstage to allow the masked man to do his business. Sometimes Jay wore the mask, sometimes I wore the mask. Gauge turns and looks straight into the camera. Gauge: Hey Aaron Aaron Andrews….Champ…wanna take a wild guess who wore the mask the night you lost the World Title to Wolf? Keeping his eyes on the camera, Gauge begins to chuckle to himself. Still staring forward, Gauge hands the mic off to Jay Chord. Chord: Just like Greg said, I never lied about my intentions. I just never told the whole story. The masked man was never just about a title shot. It was about causing chaos in a company, a company that needs new leadership. For too long, TCW has depended on names of the past. Cornell, Vessey, Golden, Hawkins, and of course….Andrews. You want to know why TCW is a shadow of what it once was? It’s because the people in charge of TCW are blind towards the future. People like Ricky Dale Johnson? They don’t know what this company needs, what this industry needs… Chord pauses to look eye to eye with Greg Gauge. Chord:…but we do. Greg & I? We were bred to take over this business. It is in our bloodline to take over TCW, to take over the entire wrestling industry. Don’t get us wrong, though. We don’t want be our Dads. We want to be BETTER…better than our Dads. We took their blueprint, and we became superior to Sam and Rip. It is our birth right to become the most dominant individuals in this business, the men that take TCW to a level that this company never saw before. It is our Destiny. No…we are Destiny. Chord turns away from Gauge. It’s Jay’s turn to look straight into camera. Chord: And Aaron Andrews? Believe me when I say that this is just business. I do have respect for you, but you are simply in our way while we take what is rightfully ours. And what is ours? Well, that World Title, of course…and much, much more! You ruined our fun last week when you unmasked Greg, we were going to play that game for a little longer. But that’s alright, there’s no need to hide the truth anymore. We’re going to take over this company, and it doesn’t matter who stands our way. It doesn’t matter if it’s you or the new guy, Joss Thompson. This is our company now, and there’s not a soul in that locker room that can stop what we have planned for TCW! The crowd pops as “Shoot To Thrill” by AC/DC begins to play. Commissioner Ricky Dale Johnson walks onto the entrance stage, looking none too pleased. RDJ: Destiny, eh? Cute name. Yeah….so listen, I got a pissed off World Champion in the back right now, who by the way is only staying back there right now because I made a deal with him. I also got Joss Thompson at home after suffering a minor neck injury from that Piledriver you delivered to him, Jay. I really don’t care what you guys think you’re up to or what you call yourselves. I should suspend the both of you for your actions, from both last week and all that masked man crap. But, that would be too easy. I’d rather see you guys get the beating you deserve. So first and foremost? Jay? Consider your match with Joss Thompson at Hotter Than Hell now official, courtesy of the Commish. The crowd pops at the announcement, while a smirk comes across Chord’s face. Chord: Fine by me. I’ll just finish what I started last week. RDJ: Wonderful, but you have another big match to worry about first. And that brings me to you, Greg. Now, just because I want to punish you for your actions, I can’t just take away your title rematch with Mainstream Hernandez. I am contractually obligated to give you your rematch. BUT…I can postpone it to a later date as I see fit. So, consider your TV Title Rematch postponed! It’s no longer going down this weekend on Saturday Night Showcase! Irate, Greg Gauge snatches the mic from Chord. Gauge: BS! You can’t do that! I deserve my title rematch! RDJ: Actually, I can do that! And like I said, you will have your rematch…at a later date! But don’t worry, you will still compete against Mainstream Hernandez this Saturday night. Like I said, I made a deal with Aaron Andrews to make sure he didn’t come out here and start swinging. The deal goes like this. If Aaron kept his cool tonight, then he gets a tag team match on Saturday Night Showcase. On one side? It will be, Jay Chord & Greg Gauge. The Destiny boys! And on the other side? Teaming for the first time ever, it will be World Champion Aaron Andrews & Television Champion Mainstream Hernandez! Chord: That’s it? You don’t seem to understand, Rick. You think you’re punishing us with these matches. Unlike other people in this company, we welcome the opportunity to prove we are the best. We welcome challenges like this, to put the rest of that locker room in their place! And just like you said, eventually you’ll have give Greg his title rematch. And when you do? Greg here will be taking that TV Title back! RDJ: Well, I’m glad to hear that you’re so confident, Jay. I’m glad you’re in a competitive mood, because not only are you two teaming together at Saturday Night Showcase. You’re teaming together tonight! Good luck, boys! Six Man Tag Team Match Masked Cougar, Tana The Mighty, & T-Bone Bright defeat The Syndicate (Akima Brave, Chris Flynn, Doc Hammond) After surviving the Syndicate’s worst, the good guys rally late to get back into the match. T-Bone lifts Brave into the gorilla press, then dumps him onto Akima’s partner Hammond on the floor at ringside. Flynn attacks T-Bone from behind, then knocks him out of the ring with a Big Boot. Flynn, though, walks right into Tana’s grip, who plants him with a Two Handed Chokeslam. Tana moves out of the way as Cougar flies off the top rope. I Am Cougar, Hear Me Roar! Boom! 1,2,3! Mitch Naess: A big win for Masked Cougar and Company. I’m sure it feels good to get some revenge against The Syndicate. MC Motormouth: And I bet Wolf Hawkins won’t be happy with this loss. We go backstage, where TV Champion Mainstream Hernandez is in the midst of talking to a Producer when he is confronted by Freddy Corp. leader Freddy Huggins, accompanied by his sister Laura Catherine. Huggins: It looks like you snuck your way out a title defense against Greg Gauge. Lucky you! But if you’re a proud enough champion, you’ll be willing to accept a new challenge. Say against…well, me! What d’ya say, champ? Mainstream Hernandez responds with a jab at Huggins, mocking Freddy for his tantrum towards his sister Laura last week on Total Wrestling. Freddy is none too pleased, and to which he shoots an annoyed look at his sister. Laura’s eyes drop to the floor. Hernandez then gives Freddy the answer he wishes to hear. Hernandez: You want a TV Title match? That’s fine by me. I’m free tonight, so how about we meet in that ring, and I’ll give you something else to cry and complain about! When we return from commercials, we find out that Commissioner RDJ has made it official! Tonight, in the Main Event, Mainstream Hernandez will defend the TV Title against Freddy Huggins! Mr. Lucha defeats Capitao Brasil Jr. The two masked man share a respectful handshake at the start of the match, but then the contest gets intense with non-stop action. Brasil gives Lucha his best challenge to date, but Lucha keeps on rolling since debuting in TCW. In the end, Lucha puts another opponent away with his Lucha Sault. Jason Azaria: Folks, I’m getting word that there’s something going on backstage. We’re trying to get cameras back there right now. Okay…okay, here we go. Let’s see what’s happening. We go backstage to a loud commotion, as The Shade Gang are attacking WMD’s Human Arsenal. Arsenal lies through a broken table, his mask hanging halfway off his face, but that doesn’t stop Tornado, Speed, & Hocking from continuing to stomp away at him. Arsenal’s partner One Man Army appears on the scene, armed with a steel chair. Army manages to strike Hocking with the steel chair before the Shade Gang flee down the hallway. W.M.D.’s manager Vita joins Army in checking on Arsenal, who is currently unresponsive. Vita calls for medical help as Army keeps an eye out for Shade Gang, making sure they don’t return. Jason Azaria: What a disgusting attack by the Tag Team Champions! Mitch Naess: I certainly don’t think it’s a coincidence that Shade Gang is supposed to give W.M.D. their title rematch this Saturday on Showcase. Sure seems Hocking & Speed wanted to make sure that rematch never happens! Freddy Corp. (Julian Watson & Roderick Remus) defeat Jack Avatar & Jay Silver Squash Match! Watson & Remus must have made their leader Freddy Huggins proud with this route of the enhancement talent. Avatar & Silver get a little offense in before Watson plants Silver with the Tiger Claw DDT for the win. The CEO of Freddy Corp., Laura Huggins, enters the ring to raise the arms of Watson & Remus in victory. The trio are joined by Kyle Rhodes in-ring, who asks them about the 2 out of 3 Falls challenge that has been issued to them by Benny & The Foxx. Laura Huggins answers for the group. Huggins: So, Benson & Foxx are tired of Freddy Corp. and want to be done with us. Well what a coincidence, because I can safely say everyone in Freddy Corp. is tired of those two as well! But I must admit, they’re right. Both teams own a win over each other. It’s time to settle things, and a 2 out of 3 Falls Match is just the way to do it. You want your match on Saturday Night Showcase? You got it! This Saturday, Freddy Corp. is going to end Benny & The Foxx’s stupid little reunion tour! Aztec Prince defeats Flying Jimmy Foxx With Wolf Hawkins in his corner, Prince impresses his Syndicate leader with a successful outing. Foxx makes Prince work for it and keeps the new phenom on his toes, but after Prince catches Jimmy with a devastating clothesline while flying off the top rope, that marks the end for the TCW veteran. Prince picks up the win, making Foxx another victim of the Triple Powerbomb. As Aztec Prince stands over Jimmy Foxx, Wolf Hawkins shoves Referee Long aside and joins his newest Syndicate recruit in-ring, a mic in hand. Hawkins: So…Mighty Mo wants to fight Aztec Prince this Saturday on Showcase. So impatient Mo, I knew this would eventually happen, but I was hoping to let the tension fill a bit first. Ya know, let my boy Prince have some fun with you before the big finale. But, the one thing Aztec Prince doesn’t do…the one thing the Syndicate doesn’t do…is back away from a challenge. So Mo? You want your match? Aztec Prince accepts! You’re going to find out, right along with everyone else, why I handpicked this man to be my protégé. Mitch Naess: Big news, indeed. I know Mighty Mo is smiling, ready to get some revenge after what happened at Summer Showdown. Hawkins: But you know what? A show like Saturday Night Showcase? I find it a bit odd that once again, a major show comes along and the Commissioner doesn’t have plans for a 4-Time World Champion like yours truly. Once again, RDJ is showing his bias because his career doesn’t hold a candle to mine. No matter, I’ll do the Commish’s job for him. I am issuing an Open Challenge for Saturday Night Showcase. You want to step into the ring with TCW’s prized gem? Here’s your chance. But be warned, you’re not going to like the results! Destiny defeat Devine Fortune Darryl Devine & Chance Fortune are given the task to challenge to test the new duo of Jay Chord & Greg Gauge. For awhile, the former Tag Team Champions do exactly that. But after Fortune’s attempt at hitting the Stroke of Luck on Gauge is broken up by Chord, Destiny commands the rest of the contest. After planting Fortune with a powerslam, Chord looks into the camera and dishes out some mockery towards the World Champ, Aaron Andrews. Chord gestures down to Fortune. Chord: Hey Aaron! Remember him?! Chord then delivers the Cradle Piledriver to Fortune, the World Champion’s former L.A. Connection partner. 1,2,3, Destiny are victorious in their first tag match together. MC Motormouth: What an impressive performance by Chord & Gauge. I tell ya, Andrews & Hernandez are in trouble this Saturday! Jason Azaria: Destiny is looking to be quite the faction. But, I’m certain the World Champion and the Television Champion aren’t just going to roll over. What an epic tag team match we’re going to see on Showcase. Coming back from commercials, we are awarded with another vignette of TCW’s newest superstar. The scene this time is what appears to be a backyard party behind quite the large mansion. With “Diamonds From Sierra Leone” by Kanye West playing lightly, the camera pushes it way through numerous people dressed for a pool party. Finally, we come to the man formerly known as Zimmy Bumfhole, chilling on a lounge chair by the pool. Covering in expensive jewelry and showing off a golden tan, he appears to be enjoying the good life. Several beautiful women are seated around him, chatting him up. “Some people like to criticize me for being a child of a wealthy family, like it was my decision. People want me to pretend like I didn’t come from where I do. They want me to be humble. They didn’t want me to flaunt what I have. They want me to be…someone else.” The man turns away from the women. Tipping his sunglasses, he looks straight into the camera and grins. “Why should I pretend to be someone I’m not? The truth is, I am better than you. All of you. I’m richer than you. I’m smarter than you. I’m more talented than you. If you don’t like that? Then maybe you should try harder. As for me? I’m going to continue enjoying MY life.” Z-Man… Coming Soon To TCW! We switch over to backstage, where The Syndicate are heading towards the exit with their bags. Led by Wolf Hawkins, the conversation seems casual between the five, though Wolf always seems to be in charge of the topic. Suddenly, the group grows tense as their eyes go off-camera. The four followers immediately block the path in front of Hawkins as Joshua Taylor appears on the scene. Taylor looks over the group, then looks Hawkins straight on. Taylor: You want a fight this Saturday on Showcase? Well, consider your open challenge accepted. Taylor walks away, knowing better to stick around and make himself open to an ambush. The Syndicate watches Taylor leave, a smirk appear on Wolf Hawkins’s face. Davis Wayne Newton defeats Red Panther Newton dominates the veteran Panther to an impressive victory. Panther gets a little offense in, but after Newton dodges a second rope dropkick, the masked wrestler is toast. Newton gets the three with his patented Fisherman’s Suplex. As Davis Wayne Newton celebrates his victory with manager Haley Buck, Kyle Rhodes enters the ring for an interview. Rhodes asks Newton about Joshua Taylor’s comments last week, when Joshua claimed that Davis had to cheat to beat him at Summer Showdown. Newton grins at the accusation as Haley Buck answers for her client. Buck: Only a man clinging onto his glory days would say such a thing like that. The truth is, Davis Wayne Newton eliminated Joshua Taylor from the Gauntlet Match at Summer Showdown. The truth is, Joshua knows that Davis is the future, and he is the past. The truth is, Joshua knows Davis is far superior to him, and while Davis makes his way up the ladder in TCW? Joshua will soon be mopping floors. Face it, Josh. You’re old news, but Davis? Davis Wayne Newton is the franchise player of Total Championship Wrestling. Deal with it! The Elite defeat Beautiful Love (Danny Fonzarelli & Frederique) As Frederique gets the hot tag, Beautiful Love takes control of this match, beating up Eddie Chandler & Nate Johnson all over the ring. Fonzarelli clotheslines Johnson to the floor and goes after him. But as he does so, he notices someone on the rampway. It’s none other than Kirk Jameson, the man who choked out Beautiful Love member Dazzling Dave Diamond out last week, then refused to release the submission. Fonzarelli loses focus on the tag team match and starts to go after Jameson. As Fonzarelli & Jameson exchange threats, Frederique is left alone with The Elite, and that’s bad news for Fred. Chandler & Johnson hit Frederique with the Elitism! Fonzarelli tries to race back into the ring, but Chandler gets the three count on Frederique before he can! As Fonzarelli realizes his mistake, Jameson walks away with a little smirk on his face. Mitch Naess: Danny Fonzarelli lost his focus for one moment, and unfortunately Frederique paid the price. MC Motormouth: I’d lose my focus too if a dangerous man like Kirk Jameson was watching me. Jason Azaria: I suppose Kirk came out here after Fonzarelli & Frederique put the boots to him last week, when he wouldn’t break the submission on Dave Diamond. Whatever his reason, The Elite took advantage and got the big tag team win. Back from commercials, Kyle Rhodes stands by on the interview stage. To a large pop, he introduces his guests, the World Champion Aaron Andrews and Television Champion Mainstream Hernandez! The duo walk out on the stage, Andrews in street clothes, Hernandez geared up for the upcoming main event. Questioned by Rhodes, Andrews & Hernandez give their thoughts about their tag team match this Saturday on Showcase against Destiny. Hernandez: Destiny, eh? Chord & Gauge can call themselves whatever they’d like, I can see the truth. The truth is, they’re two guys that didn’t get their way at Summer Showdown, and now they’re acting like a bunch of spoiled babies as a result. But that’s alright, me and Aaron here are game for whatever goes down this Saturday. We both wear gold in TCW, and that means we’re as good as they come in professional wrestling. And this Saturday? I’m going to have fun proving it against those two cry babies! Andrews: Greg Gauge! I heard your little revelation earlier, and I promise you, the hell you will pay for what you did is going to be more than you could possibly imagine. This Saturday, the tag team match is just the start of the pain that I’m going to cause you! Yeah, I got the World Title back, but the hell I went through to regain it? It’s all because of you Greg, and now you’re going to pay the price. Every time I got ganged up on by Wolf Hawkins and The Syndicate? You’re going to feel how I felt! As for you, Jay Chord? You try to act like you’re different, but you’re another whiney wrestler who is upset because he didn’t get his way and doesn’t get special treatment because of who your daddy is. You gang up on people just to get an advantage. But this Saturday? The odds are even, and Hernandez & I are going to give you the whooping that both of you deserve! We are back from commercials, and the scene is on Commissioner Ricky Dale Johnson, who is standing by in his office backstage. RDJ: Folks, we are about to start tonight’s main event. But before we do? It is time to reveal four more entries for the Lethal Lottery Tag Team Tournament at Hotter Than Hell! Sixteen wrestlers will be randomly slotted into a eight team tournament, and they will battle until one team is left standing! Without further, here are some more entrants. RDJ snaps his fingers, and suddenly “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC begins to play. As RDJ announces the names, the wrestler’s image appears on the screen. RDJ: Okay, the first new entry… …one half of the current TCW World Tag Team Champions, Shade Gang’s Matt Hocking… …next, former International Champion and twenty year veteran, Joshua Taylor… …if that’s not enough, how about the former Television Champion, Syndicate member Doc Hammond… …finally, one of the most beloved wrestlers in the world, The Elation Sensation, Sammy Bach! RDJ: That’s it for now. Eight names down, eight to go. Tune in next week to Total Wrestling to find out more entries. For now? How about a TCW Television Title Match? IT’S TIME FOR THE MAIN EVENT! TCW Television Championship Match Mainstream Hernandez defeats Freddy Huggins to RETAIN the TCW Television Championship Huggins looks primed to become the new TV Champion when he manages to roll out of the way of Hernandez’s attempt of the Pontiac To Home. From the top rope, Hernandez crashes and burns! Huggins starts to set Hernandez up for the Huggin’s Kiss when he notices his sister Laura Cathertine on the apron. Laura is holding up a chair for Freddy use, just like the match with Sammy Bach at Summer Showdown! Freddy screams at her to get down. Laura insists that she is only trying to help, but Freddy just continues to berate her. Freddy Huggins: YOU’RE GOING TO GET ME DISQUALIFIED! GET THE HELL DOWN! Laura finally listens to her brother, though Freddy takes another moment to berate her despite Laura already off the apron. Freddy turns his attention back to Hernandez and tries to set him up for the Freddy’s Kiss, but Hernandez breaks free and spins out. Hernandez rocks Freddy with a Super Kick! Freddy is dazed on his feet, and Hernandez quickly grabs him and hits the Apparition #14! 1,2,3, Hernandez is successful in first TV Title defense! Jason Azaria: What a win by the Television Champion! MC Motormouth: What was Laura thinking?! Mitch Naess: She definitely didn’t think it through, MC, but she was just trying to help her brother out. MC Motormouth: She cost him the match! After Hernandez is done celebrating in the ring with his TV Title, Laura Catherine Huggins tries to check on her brother Freddy as he’s recovering from the loss. When Laura touches his shoulder, Freddy jumps to his feet and starts screaming her. Defensive, Laura cowers in the corner, yet Freddy is still right there in her face. Freddy Huggins: ARE YOU CRAZY?! YOU COST ME THE MATCH! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! Freddy Huggins goes to storm away, but Laura follows after to talk some sense into her brother. Freddy accidentally shrugs her off too hard and knocks Laura to the mat! Jason Azaria: Oh No! Laura Catherine is stunned at what just happened. Instead of helping her sister, Freddy starts berating her again! Suddenly, Freddy Huggins is spun around by Sammy Bach! Bach drops Freddy with a big right hand! When Freddy gets back up, Bach hits him with a dropkick that sends Freddy falling through the ropes and to the floor! MC Motormouth: What the heck is Sammy Bach doing down here?! Mitch Naess: He clearly didn’t want to see a man screaming at a woman like Freddy was doing to his sister! MC Motormouth: Still! None of his business! Bach challenges Freddy Huggins to get back in the ring, but after looking back and forth between Sammy and Laura Catherine, Freddy backs away from ringside. After threats are exchanged, Bach turns back to Laura seated on the mat. Bach offers to help her up. At first it looks like Laura is going to accept the help, but after seeing Freddy glaring at her, Laura instead rolls out of the ring on her own. Bach watches as Laura joins her brother on the entrance stage, where he proceeds to argue with her yet again. Jason Azaria: What an odd way to end Total Wrestling this week, but we’ll have to leave it there. Maybe we’ll get some answers this Saturday when Showcase returns to air! Be sure to tune in this weekend to a star studded show! Good Night Everyone!

But first things first. Are you sure you won’t reconsider bringing <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Nate (Johnson)</strong></span> on, too?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> *shakes head* I’m sure Ed, there’s just too much baggage. I just don’t think it would work, putting Nate in an administrative position.</p><p> </p><p> <em>RDJ was speaking about Nate Johnson’s incident back in </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Canadian Golden Combat (CGC).</strong></span></em><em> Johnson had an affair with </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>”Hotstuff” Marie Deneuve</strong></span></em><em>, who at the time was married to </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Jack DeColt</strong></span></em><em>, the star of CGC. I would do the same for someone so close.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chandler:</strong> Well, okay. So how does this booking team work? You need my resume or something?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> *chuckles* Nah man, like I told you before. There needs to be more than one voice than my own when it comes to developing shows, and <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>I think your voice can be very beneficial.</strong></span> So, you’d be here to help me construct shows and storylines, and in over time, even make decisions if I’m not around. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chandler:</strong> So, not just booking, but also creative?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> Pretty much. It’s all one jello mold.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chandler:</strong> Alright, that sounds interesting. Where do we start?</p><p> </p><p> <em>RDJ and Rhodes share a look for a moment, then Rick glances back at Chandler.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> Well, let’s test ya. Kyle & I have been discussing where to go with the story between <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Mighty Mo and Wolf Hawkins.</strong></span> Their match at Summer Showdown was a show stealer, but we don’t want to rush into a rematch. We think this could be a real money feud. So, what do ya say, new guy? What would you do?</p><p> </p><p> <em>Chandler takes a moment, looking down at the tiled floor.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chandler:</strong> Alright, so it hasn’t just been Mo and Wolf. You’ve included not only the rest of <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>The Syndicate.</strong></span>, but also some other good guys to work with Mo. <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Tana, T-Bone, the Cougar kid.</strong></span></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> Masked Cougar. You’d have to learn people’s names if you’re going to be on the booking team!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chandler:</strong> *grins* Sorry, I’ll work on that. What I’m getting at it is the battle lines are drawn. Whether you meant it or not, you have the makings of what could be a <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>giant tag team match.</strong></span> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> Hot damn, you’re right. And no, I didn’t even mean to!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chandler:</strong> Well, you do got a nice, shiny story right there. <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Team Mo versus The Syndicate.</strong></span> That could headline a big show if it’s done right. Maybe build it with a gimmick match. Best of all? Both Mo and Wolf can save face whether they win or lose. They can both come out strong while someone else takes the fall. You have a month or so worth of TV story right there, and then you can set up the rematch. How’s that?</p><p> </p><p> <em>RDJ and Rhodes share a look, and then smile.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> I think I just found the newest member to my booking team.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> *sarcasm* You mean your first member to your booking team.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> Yeah yeah, I get it! So how about it, Ed? You officially on board?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chandler:</strong> That depends. How do I get compensated?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> *chuckles* Money makes the world turn! Tell you what, let’s do a <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>month internship.</strong></span> Work close with Rick, learn what you need to learn. If all goes well, then we will talk money, plus a nice bonus for joining the team. That seem fair?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chandler:</strong> *nods* Sounds fair to me.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Chandler offers a hand, which Rhodes immediately shakes.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chandler:</strong> Last question. So…Rick, did you give me that <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>Battle Royal Win at Summer Showdown</strong></span> just to butter me up? Try to convince me to take this gig?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> *laughs* Glad you think so low of me! Yes, I totally did that, Ed. I didn’t book you to win because you deserved that win as a longtime veteran to this roster. I wanted to kiss your rear.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chandler:</strong> *smiles* Alright, good to know. I’ll leave you guys to it. Talk to you later?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> Will do.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> Good talking Ed.</p><p> </p><p> <em>RDJ and Rhodes watch Chandler making his way towards the locker room area. When Chandler is far away out of earshot, Rhodes looked back towards Rick.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhodes:</strong> You gave him that win to butter him up.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>RDJ:</strong> Oh, I soooo gave him that win to butter him up…</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Please Enjoy A Brand New Episode Of </strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"><strong> </strong></span><span style="color:#800080;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW Uprising!</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span><img alt="LFcklZN" data-src="https://imgur.com/a/LFcklZN" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span><span style="color:#800080;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Uprising Shorts</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>*</strong></span><span style="color:#800080;"> In a post- match interview, </span><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>The Syndicate</strong></span><span style="color:#800080;"> accepted the challenge and made it official. This has been a great diary. It's so well written in the way you weave the backstage stuff into actual show write-ups. TCW is probably my favorite CVerse brand so running with them is just the icing on the cake. You've really captured a lot of the characters and fleshed them out throughout each piece. I find myself taking inspiration from you into my own save from here. Off the top of my head, teaming OMA and Arsenal was something I did as well as teaming Huggins with Hocking and Maverick (minus the Coach gimmick haha)<p> </p><p> Summer Showdown was really good. This post-show had great set pieces and I love that you're using the Lethal Lottery. Love me some old school WCW. Perhaps when you approach October, Eddie Peak can wrangle the Society in a chamber of horrors of some sort 8-) </p><p> </p><p> I tip my hat to you, dbritton. This has been awesome so far.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks. I really like Freddy Huggins, not the greatest but very solid all-around. Freddy Corp. was my way of giving him a stable, but not be as super serious as The Syndicate. Def a top ten player to be taken seriously, but he lacks just a bit of star quality to be "the" guy. </p><p> </p><p> I'm excited for Lethal Lottery. I found the recipe to stay interested in my saved files, particularly the bigger companies, is to get creative with the big events. Something I wish WWE did in real life, rather the same PPV formula over and over. Now that I have a roster that I'm (almost) satisfied with, there will be more gimmick shows here and there in the future. And yes, old school WCW is an inspiration when it comes to this.</p>
  13. Just an fyi, the Lethal Lottery Tournament at Hotter Than Hell will be 100% legit. It will be completely random, I'm talking taking names out of a hat random. However it goes, it goes! Hope you enjoy the event when it goes down.
  14. August– Week 1 – 2020 Please Enjoy A Brand New Episode Of TCW Presents Total Wrestling! After the intro video of Total Wrestling, we go straight to Commissioner Ricky Dale Johnson, standing by on the interview stage in Virginia Park Fields. With a grin and a cowboy hat, RDJ brings some big news for TCW fans all around the world. RDJ: Summer Showdown was an epic show that will go down as one of the best in TCW history, but things never stop moving in TCW. I’m out here to reveal two big pieces of breaking news for you fans. First, starting this month, TCW Saturday Night Showcase will be returning to television! Live, SNS will come to your TV screens every second Saturday, every month. SNS will celebrate the biggest stars of TCW, and will host the some of the biggest matches we could possibly deliver. Next Saturday, Saturday Night Showcase will return to television, and while there’s plenty of news to come, I’m out here to reveal the first match. Next week on SNS, in a gigantic return match, New Champion Mainstream Hernandez will defend the TCW Television Championship against the Former Champion, Greg Gauge! RDJ takes a moment for all that to sink in. Azaria & Rhodes hype the contest on commentary as the Commish waits for the crowd to quiet down before continuing. RDJ: Well, if you like that, then you’re going to love this. Another month, another pay-per-view, and this month’s TCW P-P-V is one of our classics, Hotter Than Hell. Except, starting this year, things are going to be different at this event. This isn’t no basic show anymore, no no no. Hotter Than Hell will now host a eight team tournament I call the Lethal Lottery Tournament. But no, this ain’t your momma’s tag team tournament. All sixteen competitors will be randomly slotted into a position in the bracket. Friends fighting friends, enemies teaming with enemies, who knows how things will slot out! Oh yeah, and here’s the big kicker. Wrestlers won’t know who they’re teaming with until right before their first round match, say…oh, when they’re called to the ring! Jason Azaria: Wow! What a concept! Things are bound to get crazy in the Lethal Lottery Tournament. Kyle Rhodes: Just imagine the type of tandems that could be randomly created. This has the recipe for absolute chaos! RDJ: The team that wins the tournament will be awarded trophies at the end of the night, and? Well…there might be another reward that we’ll discuss at a later time. As for the competitors, I am going to reveal several each week leading up to Hotter Than Hell. And well….we might as well reveal the first four competitors right now! RDJ snaps his fingers, and thus “Highway To Hell” by AC/DC begins to play. The camera spins around to face the titantron. Images of the competitors appear as RDJ names them. RDJ: First… …we can’t have a party without everyone’s favorite giant, Tana The Mighty… …next up…one of the hottest rising stars in TCW, the arrogant Davis Wayne Newton… …one half of W.M.D. and one of the toughest men in the business, Human Arsenal… …and finally… …4-Time TCW World Champion and future Hall of Famer…The Syndicate Leader…Wolf Hawkins… RDJ: Tune in next week when I reveal the next four competitors in the Lethal Lottery Tournament. Well, that’s enough from this old man. Enjoy the rest of the show! Tana & T-Bone defeat The Elite With manager Dharma Gregg & Masked Cougar in their corner at ringside, Tana & T-Bone survive the dastardly deeds of Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson. The Elite do what they can to cut down their biggest opponents, but when Tana The Mighty gets rolling, they just don’t have any answers. After T-Bone Bright plants Johnson with his patented Powerslam, Tana flattens Nate with the Big Fat Samoan Splash to pick up the 3. Post-Match, Dharma Gregg & Masked Cougar join Tana & T-Bone in the ring to celebrate their victory. Cougar has a mic in hand. Cougar: I’ve joined my buddies Tana & T-Bone tonight for one purpose. I’m calling out The Syndicate! You guys have tried to make our lives a living hell, but we’re not going to lay back and take it. We know you guys refuse to honor a fair contest, so we won’t even bother with that. Right now? I’m challenging The Syndicate to a Six Man Tag, next week on Total Wrestling! Cougar hands the mic to Tana The Mighty. Tana: Syndicate! We will fight any three of you, you choose! Just come fight us, and I promise…one of you will feel the Big…Fat…Samoan Splash! We come back from commercials, and the scene is on the commentary table with Jason Azaria and Kyle Rhodes. Jason Azaria: Welcome back to Total Wrestling…and…well…my longtime partner Kyle here has some breaking news. Kyle Rhodes: Yes, I do. Ladies and Gent, after thinking about it for awhile, I have decided to step down from Colour Commentary. I’ll still be around, hosting interviews here on TCW TV and things of that sort. But, I figured it was time to give opportunities to new voices. That said, allow me to introduce the two men that are taking my place here at the commentary table. First, here is a veteran in the world of pro wrestling commentary. You might know his voice from other promotions, but now he is here in TCW. Mitch Naess, welcome to the announce team. Mitch Naess: Thank you, Kyle. It is an honor to join the TCW team. I could never fully replace Kyle here, but I promise to do my best to deliver the best product I can. Kyle Rhodes: That’s good for to hear. Also joining Jay here, he is the man who replaced me when I was out with an injury, MC Motormouth. MC can be a little brash, but I think that’s exactly what we need around here. A fresh new voice to TCW. MC, welcome to the commentary table. MC Motormouth: Thank you, Kyle. It is your honor and everyone else’s to have me here on the commentary team. And to everyone watching on television right now? Your welcome. Kyle Rhodes: Well…okay. I guess then, it’s time for me to head off. Have a good show, guys. Jason Azaria: Thank you, Kyle. It’s been quite the run. We’ll certainly miss you at the commentary table. MC Motormouth: Well…let’s not jump to conclusions… Kirk Jameson defeats Dazzling Dave Diamond Things get ugly quick, as this becomes an heavy exchange of chops and punches. That’s Diamond’s type of fight, and he has Jameson rattled late. But, Jameson is able to break free from Diamond’s Dazzle Driver attempt, and Kirk manages to lock on the Kata Ha Jime! Diamond is almost able to get to the ropes, but Kirk hops onto Dave’s back and pulls him to the mat. The leg scissors now applied, Diamond goes limp, forcing Referee Johnson to call for the bell. MC Motormouth: Another opponent for Jameson, another victim of the Kata Ha Jime. Mitch Naess: Kirk Jameson is quickly proving to be the deadliest submission artist in TCW. Referee Johnson raises Kirk Jameson’s arm in victory, but that doesn’t appear to enough for Kirk. He shoves the referee aside and reapplies the Kata Ha Jime on Dave Diamond! Jameson ignores the pleas of Referee Johnson, which leads to the rest of Beautiful Love hitting the ring to save Diamond! Frederique and Danny Fonzarelli stomp and pummel Jameson until he lets go and rolls out of the ring. As Frederique kneels over Diamond, Fonzarelli shares some words with Jameson from across ringside. Jason Azaria: Kirk Jameson is lucky the referee didn’t overturn the decision there. Thank god Frederique and Fonzarelli came to Diamond’s rescue. MC Motormouth: Yeah they did, but something tells me the rest of Beautiful Love better watch their backs now. Kirk Jameson isn’t the type of man you want to cross! Back from commercials, Kyle Rhodes is standing by on the interview stage, where he introduces The Syndicate Leader, Wolf Hawkins. Hawkins is all smirks when he comes out. Rhodes questions Hawkins about his win over Mighty Mo at Summer Showdown, and the man who interfered to help him win. Hawkins: Oh, you sure you don’t just want to insult me, like you always do…or should I say did…on commentary? Just shut your mouth and hold the mic, Kyle. I promised the world that The Syndicate will become stronger than ever, that a new era of The Syndicate will come forth, and now I can say I have delivered. I didn’t just add a formable superstar to The Syndicate, I added the man I am proud to call my protégé. This individual is going to be next big thing in TCW. He has all the tools…he just needs my guidance. That individual…is Aztec Prince! Out comes Aztec Prince to join Hawkins on the interview stage. Always donning his luchador mask, Prince is now sporting a slick dark suit, just like Hawkins and the rest of the Syndicate wears. Prince stands facing the camera as Hawkins continues to speak about him. Hawkins: See, you people out here just see a weirdo wearing a mask, so you already type casted him. Me? I see a physical masterpiece who honors his heritage. This man has put down every single opponent put in his path up to now. And with my guidance? Aztec Prince is going to continue doing that. Oh, and as for you Mighty Mo? You really thought you had all the answers. Wolf Hawkins stops for a moment to chuckle. Hawkins: When are you people going to learn? The Syndicate runs the game. Just when you think you have all the answers, we change the questions! W.M.D. defeats Crockett Tubbs & Tyrone Gray Squash Match! One Man Army and Human Arsenal are clearly ticked off after losing the Tag Titles at Summer Showdown. Unfortunately for Tubbs & Gray, W.M.D. take out their frustrations out on them. W.M.D. hit Gray with the Doomsday Device, and that’s all she wrote. Post-Match, Vita joins her men W.M.D. in the ring with a mic in hand. Vita: A travesty took place at Summer Showdown. The Shade Gang stole the Tag Team Titles from my boys. I wish I could say that I’m surprised by what they did, but I’m not. My boys could easily stand here and cry and moan, but we’re not going to. No, they want to fight! My boys are owed a contractually obligated title match with the Shade Gang, and they want it next week on Saturday Night Showcase! We come back from commercials, and Jason Azaria reveals that it is official! Jason Azaria: Folks, Commissioner Ricky Dale Johnson heard Vita just a few minutes ago, and he is granting W.M.D.’s request. On the premiere episode of Saturday Night Showcase next week, W.M.D. will get their Tag Title rematch against Shade Gang’s Marc Speed & Matt Hocking! MC Motormouth: Good to hear! The New Champs can finally put W.M.D. behind them. By the way, I think it’s inappropriate for Vita to say that Shade Gang “stole” the Tag Titles. Mitch Naess: What do you mean? Matt Hocking low blowed One Man Army to win the match. MC Motormouth: Really? I thought Marc Speed pinned Human Arsenal for a three count to win. I guess we were watching a different Tag Title Match. Both Azaria and Naess roll their eyes and submit, then move on to the next topic. Non-Title Match Aaron Andrews defeats Julian Watson With a little help from Laura Catherine Huggins at ringside, Watson is able to give the World Champion a pretty good fight. But, when the #1 guy in TCW gets rolling, Watson has no answers to slow him down. After crushing Watson with his patented Spear, Andrews has the crowd behind him as he’s crouched in the corner, waiting for Julian to stand up. Andrews connects with the Ace in the Hole! 1,2,3, chalk up another impressive win for the World Champion. We are back from commercials, and Freddy Corp.’s “Coach” Julian Watson is still in-ring, trying to recover from his match with Andrews. Freddy Corp. CEO Laura Cathertine Huggins tries to help Watson out of the ring when suddenly “Sure Shot” by Beastie Boys begins to play. Both look confused as the leader of Freddy Corp., Freddy Huggins, comes walking down to the ring. Huggins has a mic in hand. Huggins: No no, both of you stay right there, I have something to say. Freddy joins his sister and Watson in the ring. Laura tries to question her brother, but Freddy only paces back and forth before speaking again. Huggins: I was supposed to dispose of Sammy Bach at Summer Showdown. It was supposed to be a huge moment for Freddy Corp. The great Sammy Bach, old man Sammy, finally put of his misery. That’s what was supposed to happen. But no…things didn’t go as planned. No something went wrong… Freddy suddenly spins around and points his finger right in Laura’s face. Huggins: YOU SCREWED EVERYTHING UP! I had that match won, and you screwed everything up! Laura looks awfully confused by her brother’s rant. She tries to talk to him, but Freddy keeps going on. Huggins: I should have been standing over Sammy’s carcus, my arm raised, but YOU! You ruined ALL OF IT! You took my mind off the match, and you cost me one of the biggest wins of my career! You might be my sister Laura…but if you ever screw me over like that again, then you might as well pack your bags! Just remember, little sister! The only reason you’re in TCW…is because of ME! Freddy slams the mic down and storms from the ring and up the stage. Laura follows after her brother, completely forgetting about the hurt Julian Watson. Laura pleads with her brother, but Freddy completely ignores her. Mitch Naess: What is Freddy talking about? The reason Laura got involved in his match is because he told her, too! MC Motormouth: Maybe, but Freddy Huggins was completely taken off his game when she fell off the apron. Frankly, I blame Sammy Bach for all of this. He’s the one who knocked Freddy into Laura, and I’m pretty sure he did it deliberately! Jason Azaria: I’m pretty sure he didn’t… Sinner Society (Killer Shark & Petr Novak) defeat Ace Youngblood & Jack Avatar Squash Match! Youngblood and Avatar will definitely be black and blue for awhile after this one. Shark and Novak have their fun with the enhancement talent before putting them down for good. Sinner Society get the three count after a Chokeslam – Shark Bite combo. With Nick Booth by his side, Floyd Goldworthy joins Killer Shark & Petr Novak in the ring, shoving Referee Long aside to raise his men’s arms himself. That’s when a cackling laugh begins to echo throughout the arena. Knowing who that laugh belongs to, Sinner Society begin to frantically look around the arena. Finally, on the titantron appears the face of their former leader, Eddie Peak! He appears to be recording himself with a cheap, shaky camera. Peak: My children, I know you must have plenty of questions, and you do deserve answers. When I was lying six feet under in my grave, covered by a mass amount of dirt…“something”…happened. “Something” happened to me. I was flooded with various voices, voices telling me that I was living the wrong life. You see, there’s a reason why I am called psychotic, because…well…I am! I’ve always heard voices…but these were different. These voices, they talked the truth to me. They told me what I’m supposed to be. My entire life…I thought my purpose was to create chaos. But now…now I realize I have lived my life wrong. I’m not supposed to create chaos….I’M SUPPOSED TO DESTROY IT! Peak lets out his cackling laugh, finding humor in his words. His laugh slowly dies down, then Peak looks straight into the camera. Peak: If I am going to destroy all chaos, then first I must destroy the chaos that I created myself. I’m sorry, children, but it is my duty to put you out of your misery. First…it will be you, my sweet Protégé. This one is going to hurt, because I saw so much promise in you. Then…the Imposter. You are not of my correction, so I regret to tell you that I am going enjoy destroying you! And then…my adorable Pet. Yes, you are going to put up the best fight, and it is the fight I look forward to. We’re going to have so much fun, my Pet! And then….Floyd. You thought you were so coy, taking over my creation as your own. Little did you know that you signed your own death certificate when you did so. Oh Floyd…I’m going to save you for last! Peak lets out his laugh again, before finally the screen turns to noise. Inside the ring, Sinner Society look around the arena, expecting Eddie Peak to pop up somewhere. When he does, Floyd Goldworthy orders his men to head for the exit, and sticks close to them along the way. Jason Azaria: I don’t know what is going on with Eddie Peak, but I definitely do not wish to be the Sinner Society right now. The Hardcore Assassin appears to be planning some crazy crusade. MC Motormouth: Forget his crusade, can we please get that man in a straightjacket? That crazy freak has no business in professional wrestling! Mitch Naess: Better watch your mouth, MC. Eddie might hear you! MC Motormouth:…………… Mr. Lucha defeats Harry Allen A former veteran of TCW, Allen sure looks determined to impress management and perhaps get re-signed by the company. Alas, when the rising newcomer Lucha gets rolling, Allen just can’t keep up with him. Lucha connects with the Lucha Sault and notches another victory. The scene changes to the interview stage, where Kyle Rhodes introduces the new TCW Television Champion, Mainstream Hernandez. Welcomed by the praise of the live crowd, Hernandez walks out with a big smile on his face. Hernandez takes a moment to hold up the TV Title in the air, and receives a nice pop as a result. Rhodes proceeds to interview Hernandez about winning the Gauntlet Match and TV Title at Summer Showdown, which leads to Mainstream hyping his rematch with Greg Gauge next week on Saturday Night Showcase. Hernandez: I knew I could beat Greg Gauge, and through all the odds at Summer Showdown…after already fighting once already…I did what I set out to do. I beat Gauge, and I won championship gold here in TCW. I came to this opportunity for fruitful opportunities, and in just two months, I tasted the fruit! Next week on Saturday Night Showcase, I’m going to prove that my title victory wasn’t a fluke. Greg? I beat you once already, clean and sound in that ring. Next week? You and I both know I can do it again! IT’S NOW TIME FOR THE MAIN EVENT! Wolf Hawkins defeats Benny Benson Aztec Prince is in Hawkins’s corner for the main event, which leads to Benson glancing over to him several times. No surprise, that ends up being Benson’s downfall. When Benson climbs to the top rope for the Shockwave from Next Year, he pauses as he sees Aztec Prince walk up the steel steps. The two stare each other down until Prince obliges Referee Young’s demands and steps down to the floor. Benson finally attempts the Shockwave from Next Year, but Hawkins rolls out of the way. Benson sees the miss coming and manages to land on his feet. Benson rolls through, but then walks right into a High Knee to the face by Hawkins! As Benson tries to recover, Hawkins springboards and flies through the air. Full Moon Rising! Hit perfectly! 1,2,3, Hawkins picks up the Win. MC Motormouth: A perfect win by the leader of the Syndicate! Mitch Naess: Maybe it would be perfect if he didn’t get help from Aztec Prince. MC Motormouth: Hey, Prince never interfered, did he? It’s not his fault Benny can’t stay focused on his match! Not satisfied with his win, Wolf Hawkins instructs Aztec Prince to attack Benny Benson post-match. Prince pummels Benson until Hawkins tells him “finish him off.” Prince starts to set Benson up for his Triple Powerbomb, but that’s when Flying Jimmy Foxx hits the ring to save his tag team partner! Foxx tries his best, but is overwhelmed by Hawkins and Prince. That’s when “Breathe” by Fabulous hits the PA! Jason Azaria: Here comes Mighty Mo! \ Mighty Mo races to the ring, armed with a steel chair! He catches Aztec Prince in the ribs with the edge of the chair before both Prince and Hawkins bail from the ring. Mo challenges them to come back and fight, but the Syndicate don’t want anything to do with Mo and the chair. Threats are exchanged from afar, as both sides vow revenge. Mitch Naess: Mighty Mo gets a little redemption from Summer Showdown, though I’m sure he wished he got to swing that steel chair a little bit more. MC Motormouth: Get that steel chair away from that madman before he injures someone! Back from commercials, a brand new vignette begins to play. With “Diamonds From Sierra Leone” by Kanye West playing softly in the background, the camera pans through a high quality night club, where quite the party is taking place. Pushing through the crowd, we come to a VIP table, where a familiar face sits with several beautiful women surrounding him. “For so long, they told me to change my ways. They told me if I wanted to make it in this business, I had to show respect. I had to be humble. I had to honor those who came before me. They said I was too arrogant. They said I was disrespectful.” The camera zooms in on the table as the familiar face chats away with the women, a cocky grin on his face. Wearing an expensive suit and plenty of bling, the familiar face clearly thinks highly of himself. “I’m tired of being someone I’m not. Think what you want. I’m going to who I want to be. And if you can’t deal with who I am? That’s your problem.” The familiar face turns to the camera and smiles. “You knew me as Zimmy Bumfhole. You knew me as ZWB. But now, in Total Championship Wrestling? I’m going to be who I want to be." Z-Man… …is coming to T-C-W! The crowd erupts to the sound of “Ten Thousand Fists” by Disturbed. With the arena on their feet, Joss Thompson makes his way to the ring to deliver his first promo as a member of the TCW roster. Thompson proceeds to take a mic and talk about his plans in TCW. Thompson: I have spent my entire career looking for the next big challenge. Love me or hate me, my goal is always to come out here and prove that I am the best damn wrestler walking this planet. I’m not the type to just skate by, satisfied with a paycheck and wearing a title belt. Now, I want to come out here, beat people up, and prove myself to be the bad ass that I think I am. And when contract talks started for me? When TCW approached me? I knew this was the place for Joss Thompson. TCW was the place where I can continue to build on my legacy in this business. I am here to take on the best that TCW has to offer, and of course, I am here to become the TCW World Heavyweight Champion! That’s when “Kings Never Die” by Eminem begins to play. Cue the boos, Jay Chord walks towards the ring, looking coldly at Thompson. After Chord enters the ring, the two stare each other down before Jay slowly lifts his own mic to his lips. Chord: I don’t care about you why you’re here. All I care about is that I should be World Champion right now, but you stuck your noise where it didn’t belong. Thompson: Really? Is that how you see it? Because I recall you trying to use a steel chair, and I did my job as Special Enforcer and stopped you. It was either that, and I could have just disqualified you. Is that what you wanted? Chord: What I wanted? What I wanted is you to not to get in my way! So what is it? Did Aaron Andrews put you up to that? Did he pay you off to cost me the title belt? Thompson: Seriously, Jay? Don’t blame me for your mistakes. I just did my job. You lost at Summer Showdown because you got frustrated. You couldn’t beat Aaron and you got desperate. You know it, I know it. But if you have a problem? Why are we even talking? We’re in a wrestling ring. You want a fight? Let’s fight! The crowd begins to get pumped up as Thompson begins to remove his coat. Thompson gestures to Chord to “bring it on,” but Jay only shakes his head and chuckles. Chord: I’ll fight you, but I won’t just fight you for free. I know it’s a big deal that you’re here in TCW, Joss. So if I’m going to kick your ass? I want to be compensating for doing so! Joss Thompson laughs Chord’s off, then shrugs his shoulders. Thompson: Fine. You want a big match feel? As far as I know, I’m free for Hotter Than Hell. How about you, pal? Chord looks over the hot crowd, then nods to Thompson. Chord: Yeah, I’m free. Thompson: Then let’s do it. For the first time ever! Joss Thompson versus Jay Chord! At Hotter Than Hell! Thompson holds out a hand for Chord to shake. Chord looks over the crowd again, which is growing louder. Chord turns back to Thompson…and shakes it! Jason Azaria: Wow! Joss Thompson versus Jay Chord! I hope the Commish makes this official, because I can’t wait to see it! Wait a minute! Joss Thompson suddenly gets blind sided by someone! It’s…it’s…a man in a black mask? Mitch Naess: What the hell?! The masked man proceeds to pummel Thompson on the mat. Meanwhile, Jay Chord just stands back and smiles, enjoying the show. Thompson starts to fight back! Thompson is back on his feet, dishing out big right hands on the masked man, but Jay Chord stops all that by clobbering Thompson from behind. Both Chord and the masked man pummel Thompson. Chord then lays out Thompson in the middle of the ring with the Cradle Piledriver! Mitch Naess: This is crazy! I thought Jay Chord was the man in the black mask? Jason Azaria: He was! Chord was the masked man who repeatedly assaulted Aaron Andrews months ago. But..but…this has been a different one! MC Motormouth: No Duh! And this masked man helped Jay Chord put the new guy down! Joss Thompson is out cold! Jay Chord stands over Thompson smiling, but that smile disappears quickly when “Feel Invincible” by Skillet hits the PA! The crowd roars as World Champion Aaron Andrews races to the ring! Andrews hits the ring for the rescue, decking both Chord and the masked man. The duo overwhelms Andrews for a second, but Aaron manages to duck under a double clothesline attempt. Andrews takes out Chord with a Spear! The masked man pummels Andrews, but Aaron stops that by sweeping the legs out from under his attacker. Andrews pummels the masked man on the mat. The masked man tries to crawl out of the ring, but Andrews has him by the black mask! Wait a minute! Andrews manages to pull the mask off! Jason Azaria: What?! Mitch Naess: It’s…but why?! On the mat, an unmasked GREG GAUGE looks up at Aaron Andrews! Andrews looks confused at this turn of events, but he doesn’t have long to think about it. Jay Chord cracks a steel chair across Andrews’s back, dropping the World Champion to the mat. Gauge returns to his feet, and now he and Chord are stomping Andrews. Finally, Gauge plants Andrews with the Broken Gauge, right next to Joss Thompson! Mitch Naess: I can’t believe my eyes. Why is Greg Gauge helping Jay Chord? MC Motormouth: Whatever the reason, they just laid out the World Champion and the new, big signing for TCW! Both of them are left lying in the ring! Total Wrestling comes to a close with the live crowd booing what they have just witnessed. Jay Chord and the unmasked Greg Gauge stand over the motionless Aaron Andrews and Joss Thompson. After staring at their victims for awhile, Chord and Gauge look up towards each other. After a long moment, both men begin to smile. As the scene turns to black, Chord and Gauge pound their fists together.

  16. TCW Summer Showdown 2020 Kick Off Show Eddie Chandler wins a 15 Man Battle Royal. Chandler, Darryl Devine, Nate Johnson, & Troy Tornado were the Final Four participants. Tornado had the most eliminations. IT’S TIME FOR THE PAY-PER-VIEW! After the show intro, “Shoot To Thrill” by AC/DC begins to play as Commissioner Ricky Dale Johnson walks out onto the Summer Showdown stage. Wearing a fancier suit and cowboy hat than usual, RDJ proceeds to welcome the live crowd to the biggest show of the summer. RDJ: We’re going to start tonight off the right way, because the opening contest is the 6 Man Gauntlet Match for the TCW Television Championship! The five challengers were put in a random order to start off this contest, with TV Champion Greg Gauge slotted as the sixth and final competitor. The last man standing leaves TV Champion! Without further to do, allow me to introduce the man who drew the starting spot in this Gauntlet Match! TCW Television Championship Match 6-Man Gauntlet Match Greg Gauge ( C ) Vs. Masked Cougar Vs. Davis Wayne Newton Vs. Mainstream Hernandez Vs. Doc Hammond Vs. Joshua Taylor “Alive” by P.O.D. begins to play as the crowd pops immediately. The adrenaline is going to rise fast, as the masked marvel Masked Cougar is starting this Gauntlet Match off! RDJ: And now, here is the second participant in this gauntlet match… The Syndicate’s theme “Uprising” by Muse begins to play. Cue the boos, Doc Hammond walks right past RDJ and marches down to the ring. Jason Azaria: It’s about to get ugly fast in this Gauntlet Match. Masked Cougar has had his problems with Doc Hammond recently, with the entire Syndicate, actually. Hammond looks for the Exploder Suplex, but Cougar wows the crowd as he “somehow” manages to land on his feet. Before Hammond realizes what happened, Cougar rushes off the ropes and connects with the Cougar Pounce! Cougar rushes to the top rope as Hammond struggles to recover! Cougar flies! I Am Cougar, Hear Me Roar! He hits it! The cover, 1,2,3! Masked Cougar advances on in the Gauntlet Match! Kyle Rhodes: What a big win by Masked Cougar! Probably his biggest win yet in TCW, over a veteran like Hammond! Cougar celebrates his win with the crowd, but the celebration is cut short by the sound of “Man with a Plan” by Chapel of Rock begins to play. Led out by his manager Haley Buck, here comes Davis Wayne Newton strutting down to the ring. Cougar is ready and waiting in the ring, when he gets blindsided by at an enraged Doc Hammond! Jason Azaria: Oh come on! Doc Hammond has no business being out here anymore! He was eliminated! Referee Bull is yelling at Hammond to get out of the ring, but Doc is too busy stomping away at Cougar. Hammond drags Cougar up, and this time is successful in planting Cougar with his Exploder Suplex. The damage done, Hammond backs off and takes his leave from the ring. Kyle Rhodes: We really shouldn’t be surprised. Not only is the Syndicate a bunch of ruthless animals, they’re also poor sports. This is nothing new for them. As soon as Cougar is standing and Referee Bull gives the okay to start the next round of the Gauntlet Match, Newton flies across the ring and goes on the attack. In an exciting encounter, the best of the Gauntlet Match, Cougar tries to recover from Doc Hammond’s attack, but the effects are evident. Cougar gets a nearfall after hitting the Cougar Pounce, but when Cougar tries to run up to the top rope, Newton scouts it perfectly. Newton runs right after Cougar, grabs him by waistband, and throws him off the top rope and hard to the floor. Cougar struggles to recover, and Newton takes full advantage by hitting his Fisherman’s Suplex! Newton bridges, 1,2,3! Davis Wayne Newton advances in the Gauntlet! Jason Azaria: Masked Cougar just couldn’t recover from what Doc Hammond. It’s a shame, but you can’t blame Newton for taking advantage. While Haley Buck applauds her client, Davis Wayne Newton is all smiles in the ring. That smile, though, quickly disappears as soon as he hears “Animal I Have Become” by Three Days Grace. Here comes Newton’s heated rival, Joshua Taylor, up next in the Gauntlet! Kyle Rhodes: Oh boy, things are about to get even hotter! Taylor gets a nearfall after a Brainbuster. Taylor goes to apply the Butterfly Lock, but Haley Buck climbs onto the apron and begins to yell at Taylor. The distraction works, as it not only gets Taylor’s attention, but Referee Bull’s too. Bull yells at Buck to get down, and with the referee distracted, Newton digs his fingers deep into Taylor’s eyes! Taylor is blinded, and with Referee Bull clueless to it, Newton connects with his Fisherman’s Suplex! The bridge, 1,2,3! Davis Wayne Newton moves on in the gauntlet! Jason Azaria: Joshua Taylor was about to win this, but Newton & Buck manage to steal it away from him. Kyle Rhodes: I hate to admit, but it was a brilliant ploy by Haley Buck. That’s why Newton pays her well as his manager. Trying to catch his breath, Davis Wayne Newton sits in the corner with a little grin on his face. As Haley Buck encourages him forward, the crowd pops to the sound of “Love in a Elevator” by Aerosmith. Mainstream Hernandez wastes no time to remove his jacket and jogs to the ring, not planning to give Newton anymore time to rest. Kyle Rhodes: And here comes the man who nearly took the TV Title from Greg Gauge just last month. You know Hernandez is ready for this opportunity! Hernandez heads to the top rope, but he too falls for Haley Buck’s distraction on the apron. Newton crotches Hernandez on the top rope and climbs up after him. Newton attempts a Superplex, but Hernandez fights. Hernandez pummels Newton, and a headbutt knocks Davis all the way to the mat. Hernandez stands up on the top rope and flies! The Pontiac To Home! Hernandez hits it! The cover, 1,2,3! Mainstream Hernandez moves on in the Gauntlet! Jason Azaria: An amazing performance by Davis Wayne Newton in this Gauntlet Match, but Mainstream Hernandez is moving on. Kyle Rhodes: And you know what that means. Here comes the Television Champion. Hernandez seems to know it, too, because he leans against the ropes and just watches the stage for the champion to appear. Finally, “Icky Thump” by The White Stripes begins to play, and out comes TV Champion Greg Gauge, led out by his manager Juliet Balconi. The look on Gauge’s face tells the story, it’s about to get serious here. Jason Azaria: Greg Gauge walked away from Excessive Force still with the gold after an extremely close encounter with Mainstream Hernandez. We’re about to find out if Gauge can do it again. Gauge applies the Proton Lock in the center of the ring, but Hernandez manages to scratch and claw to the bottom rope. Gauge drags Hernandez back to the center of the ring and attempts reapply the Proton Lock, but Hernandez kicks him off. Gauge catches Hernandez’s attempt at a Super Kick, only to be whacked by Mainstream’s Enziguri! Hernandez with a Tornado DDT, then he heads to the top rope. Hernandez flies! Pontiac To Home! Gauge rolls out of the way, and Hernandez crashes hard! Gauge grabs Hernandez as he staggers up. Gauge connects with the Broken Gauge! The cover! 1,2,3NO! Hernandez just barely got his shoulder up! Gauge can’t believe it! Kyle Rhodes: Everyone in the arena thought it was over there. But no, Mainstream Hernandez manages to fight on! Gauge drags Hernandez to his feet and attempts another Broken Gauge, but in mid air Mainstream manages to reverse it into a Hurricarana. Gauge goes flying forward as a result, his face smacking off the turnbuckle! Gauge is clearly groggy afterwards, and Hernandez quickly grabs Gauge by the head and runs up the turnbuckles. The Apparition #14! Hernandez hit it! The cover! 1,2,3! WE GOT A NEW CHAMPION! Jason Azaria: Mainstream did it! He did it! Here is your winner…and NEW TCW Television Champion, Mainstream…Hernandez! Hernandez tries to hold back tears as he is awarded the TV Title by Referee Bull. Full of emotion, he leaps onto the second rope in the corner and holds the gold up high for all to see. Kyle Rhodes: Mainstream Hernandez came to TCW because he saw opportunities for himself. Well, he just took advantage of one of those opportunities, and I expect more to come in the near future. Jason Azaria: The dominant TV Title reign of Greg Gauge has come to an end, and the reign of Mainstream Hernandez begins tonight at Summer Showdown. With a scowl, Greg Gauge watches the new champion celebrate as he leaves the ringside area. Back in the ring, Hernandez continues to celebrate with the crowd while showing off his pretty new piece of jewelry. Greg Gauge’s 1st TCW Television Title Reign ends after 315 Days. Gauge managed to successfully defend the TV Title 23 times. This is Mainstream Hernandez’s 1st reign as TCW Television Champion. Benny & The Foxx Vs. Freddy Corp. (Julian Watson & Roderick Remus Benny & The Foxx look to have this in the bag after wiping out both Watson & Remus out at ringside with a Double Somersault Plancha. After Jimmy Foxx plants Remus with a Back Suplex, Benson heads to the top rope for his finisher. But, Laura Catherine Huggins grabs Benson by the leg, slowing him down. The distraction works, as Watson recovers and shoves Benson off the top rope. Benson crashes hard to the ringside floor! Foxx knocks Watson off the apron, but gets blindsided by a high knee from Remus, connecting to the back of Jimmy’s head. Remus plants Foxx with his patented Brainbuster Suplex, then flips over, applying the Remus Clutch! With Benson still down outside the ring, Foxx is forced to tap! Roderick Remus picks up the Submission Win for Freddy Corp.! Jason Azaria: Benny & The Foxx was hoping to put Freddy Corp. in their past tonight. But, Freddy Corp. is able to work together to pull out the win. Kyle Rhodes: You mean cheat together. I’m pretty sure Benny & Foxx had the win here until Laura Huggins got involved. Bart Biggins Vs. Aztec Prince Prince continues to roll through the TCW roster. Biggins doesn’t make it easy on Prince, but also doesn’t have a plan in slowing the new phenom down. In the end, Biggins becomes another victim of Prince’s Triple Powerbomb. Aztec Prince notches another impressive victory. Jason Azaria: There’s just nothing that can slow down this young man. Aztec Prince has dominated the competition up to now, and I just wonder who is next for this phenom. Sammy Bach Vs. Freddy Huggins Huggins manages to roll out of the way of Bach’s attempt at a Shooting Star Press, leaving Sammy to crash hard into the mat. Huggins quickly grabs Bach as Sammy tries to stand up. Huggins drives Bach into the mat with the Huggins Kiss! The cover! 1,2,3NO! Huggins thinks he won it, but Referee Bull informs Freddy of Bach’s foot on the top rope. Huggins nearly pulls his hair out! Huggins instructs his sister Laura Catherine to get him a steel chair. As Freddy drags Bach to his feet, Laura does as he brothers says and walks onto the apron to hand Freddy the weapon. Freddy has something planned here, but before he can do it, Bach shoves Freddy forward, right into the steel chair AND Laura Catherine! Laura crashes hard to the ringside floor! Kyle Rhodes: Oh No! Freddy can’t believe what has just happened, but before he can do anything, Bach spins him around. Bach plants Huggins face first with the Adrenaline Shot! Wasting no time, Sammy flips over and applies the Bach on your Back! Huggins is stuck in the middle of the ring, and he has no choice to tap! Sammy Bach picks up the Submission Victory! Jason Azaria: Sammy Bach gets some retribution after all the games, all the insults that Freddy Huggins has put him through. Kyle Rhodes: I’m happy for Sammy, but I’m also worried about Laura Catherine right now. That was a real rough fall. As Sammy Bach celebrates his victory, Julian Watson & Roderick Remus of Freddy Corp. head to the ring to check on Laura Catherine. Laura seems to be unable to put weight on her left ankle, while also appears to be glassy eyed. Suddenly, Freddy Huggins shoves Watson & Remus aside and begins to question Laura over what happened. No, actually, it looks like he is berating her! In too much pain, Laura is in no condition to argue back. Jason Azaria: Is…is Freddy blaming Laura for that loss? Kyle Rhodes: I really hope Freddy is a bigger man than that. I doubt it, though… Six Man Tag Team Match Beautiful Love Vs. Sinner Society It doesn’t take long until Referee Johnson loses control of this match, and an all-out brawl ensues inside and outside the ring. Frederique and Dave Diamond work together to double suplex Nick Booth on the steel rampway. Killer Shark charges both Frederique & Diamond, knocking them both down with a double shoulder block. Shark sends Frederique hard into the steel steps, then turns around and splashes Diamond on the floor with his 400 pounds of girth. Ouch! Shark goes after Danny Fonzarelli in the ring, but Fonz ducks under Shark’s wild swing. Fonz catches Shark with a big boot to the face, sending Shark tumbling through the ropes and to the floor. Back to his feet, Fonz turns around and walks right into Petr Novak’s grip. Novak shows off his amazing strength by planting Fonz with a Chokeslam! Novak rolls out of the way as Killer Shark runs off the ropes and crushes Fonz with the Shark Bite! The cover, 1,2,3! Killer Shark picks up the win for Sinner Society! Kyle Rhodes: It was an ugly war here in this Six Man Tag, and Sinner Society is left standing. Jason Azaria: Unfortunately, it’s not over… Floyd Goldworthy orders his men to continue the attack, and which they do. Killer Shark & Peter Novak continue to beat down Danny Fonzarelli in the ring. Frederique and Dave Diamond try to help their partner, but with Nick Booth joining the rest of Sinner Society, they are also overwhelmed. Floyd Goldworthy is all smiles as Sinner Society leave Beautiful Love lying in the ring. Suddenly, the lights go out in the arena! The PA System begins to screech, while the noise begins to crackle on the titantron. Jason Azaria: It’s happening again! Suddenly, everything goes dark and quiet in the arena. Then, the single ring of the church bell. The lights return in the arena, and all seems normal…until a spotlight hits the stage. In the spotlight sits a Casket! Kyle Rhodes: What in the blue hell… Lightning suddenly strikes the stage, which leads to “For Whom The Bell Tolls” by Metallica playing throughout the arena. The casket begins to roll down the entrance stage towards the ring….ALL BY ITSELF! Kyle Rhodes: Jay…what the hell is moving that casket?! Jason Azaria: I don’t know! I don’t know what’s going on! By the looks on their faces, neither does Sinner Society in the ring. All watch the casket as it finally reaches ringside before it comes to a halt. The music stops as well, and the arena becomes silent as we all wait to see what happens. Suddenly, the casket lid goes flying open! SOMEONE SITS UP IN THE CASKET! Kyle Rhodes: I don’t believe it! Jason Azaria: I can’t believe it, the Hardcore Assassin is back. EDDIE PEAK IS BACK! Eddie Peak sits there in the casket, looking back and forth at the stunned crowd. His hair buzzed since we last saw him, Peak looks over everyone with a cold presence. Meanwhile, the Sinner Society is delighted to see their leader and applaud Eddie. Jason Azaria: We haven’t seen Eddie Peak since Mighty Mo buried him alive at Total Mayhem! Wearing just tattered jeans and boots, Eddie Peak climbs out of the casket, then looks over the crowd once more before climbing into the ring. Floyd Goldworthy instructs Novak & Booth to drag Frederique up, seemingly a sacrifice for their returning leader. Peak looks over his men, then his attention turns to Frederique, who is held up on his knees by Novak & Booth. Goldworthy insists that Peak have his fun, and for a second, it looks like Peak is going to do it. Then, Peak suddenly spins around and takes Killer Shark by the throat! Kyle Rhodes: What?! Peak lifts the 400 pounder off his feet, planting Shark with a Choke Slam! The crowd is in shock as Peak turns to look at the rest of Sinner Society, a demented smile on his face. Floyd Goldworhy and Nick Booth are frozen in shock, stunned over what they just saw. Petr Novak, though, gets it together and charges Peak. Peak ducks under a wild right hand by Novak, then Petr by the throat as well. Peak barks in Novak’s face as he squeezes the life out of him. Peak: IMPOSTOR! You have no business here! Novak gets planted by a Choke Slam as well. Nick Booth attacks Peak from behind, clearly recovered from the shock of what has occurred. Booth tries to whip Peak into the ropes, but Peak reverses the whip into a Sidewalk Slam. Coming to one knee, Peak’s focus snaps over to Floyd Goldworthy. Goldworthy looks back terrified, those cold eyes staring at him. Goldworthy runs for the hill! Peak watches Floyd run away, then lifts Nick Booth into the air and plants him with the Peak of Perfection! Peak stands over Booth, while Killer Shark and Petr Novak follow Goldworhy’s retreat, not having a clue over what has just happened. Peak drops to his knees, then begins to let out a seemingly endless, screeching cackle. Jason Azaria: I…I don’t know what I just watched. Eddie Peak just returned, and he just took out Sinner Society, the group he built! Kyle Rhodes: I have no clue what all this means, but I know one thing for sure. Eddie Peak appears to be more psychotic than he has ever been, and that’s saying a lot! Edd Stone Vs. Kirk Jameson Proving to be an outsider, this match starts off with Kirk Jameson walking down to the ring with no music playing. He looks over the crowd with an icy glare. The scene switches over to Azaria & Rhodes at the announce table, and on the announce table sits a TCW Contract. Jason Azaria: The rules here go like this. Kirk Jameson has one shot. If he defeats Edd Stone, this contract here is all Kirk Jameson’s. He becomes an official TCW Wrestler. But if he loses? Commissioner Ricky Dale Johnson vows to make sure Kirk Jameson’s wrestling career dies right here, tonight! Jameson is ruthless in this match, whether it’s pummeling Stone or pulling him apart with numerous submissions. Stone fights through it all though, and has Jameson reeling after a Missile Dropkick. Stone attempts to hit the Party’s Over, but Jameson tosses Edd off before he can execute it. Stone, though, manages to land on his feet and rocks Jameson with a Super Kick! Jameson is back up quickly, and Stone runs up to the top rope. Stone executives a perfect Moonsault, but Jameson dodges the aerial attack. Stone manages to land on his feet again, but this time Jameson is in position to take advantage. Jameson applies the Kata Ha Jime as soon as Stone’s feet hit the mat! Jameson drags Stone to the mat and applies the leg scissors, leaving Stone stuck. Before Stone can tap, he goes out! Referee Long calls for the bell with Stone unresponsive, declaring Kirk Jameson the winner! Jason Azaria: Kirk Jameson gets his opportunity! He gets his TCW Contract! Kirk Jameson holds onto the submission, but breaks it right before Referee Long overturns his decision. Jameson doesn’t waste any time and rolls right out of the ring. He heads over to the announce table and stares at the contract. He pauses then, just so he can look up at Kyle Rhodes, one of his many victims this past month. Kyle Rhodes: Yeah…I remember what you did, Kirk…. A small grin comes over Jameson, then he pulls the pen from the clipboard and signs the contract. He slams the contract down and has final words before leaving. Jameson: Sweet Dreams…Sweet Dreams coming for everyone! Mighty Mo Vs. Wolf Hawkins Just before the match is about to begin, Mighty Mo calls for a microphone. Mo: Before we get going, I thought I might surprise you, Wolf. Take a look! All turn as Mo gestures towards the titantron. Seconds later, a backstage brawl appears on the screen. Masked Cougar, Tana The Mighty, & T-Bone Bright are fighting with the rest of The Syndicate backstage! TCW Officials appear on the scene, and good luck to them in trying to break up that mayhem. An annoyed Hawkins turns back to Mo, who is now smiling ear to ear. Mo: It’s just you and me now! That said, Mo drops the mic and tackles Hawkins to the mat! Mo begins to pummel away! Kyle Rhodes: What a plan by Mighty Mo! He knew Wolf was going to have something planned, and he stopped it before it could ever happen. Jason Azara: And look, there’s plenty of people in the locker room who hate the Syndicate just as much as Mo does! After taking an early beating, Hawkins manages to catch Mo with a dropkick to the knee, sending Mo’s face hard into the middle turnbuckle. Mo’s knee becomes Hawkins’s target as he attempts to chop his larger opponent down. Mo, though, survives everything Hawkins throws at him and keeps on coming back. Mo manages to dodge Wolf’s attempt at the Full Moon Rising, then plants him a Sit Down Powerbomb. Hawkins smartly rolls out of the ring, but Mo is right after him. Mo pummels Hawkins all over ringside, then whips Hawkins so hard into the barricade that it actually gives away! Hawkins crashes hard into the crowd area! Jason Azaria: Only power like Mo’s could do something like that! After pummeling Hawkins some more, Mo sends Wolf into the ring. Hawkins complains to Referee Young about his back after that crash at ringside. While Referee Young questions Hawkins whether he can continue, Mo gets pulled off the apron as he attempts to re-enter the ring. AZTEC PRINCE drops Mo with a clothesline on the floor! Kyle Rhodes: What the hell is Aztec Prince doing out here?! Prince quickly drags Mo up to his feet, then sends him face first into the ring post. Prince hops the barricade and hides there before Referee Young can see him! All of sudden feeling a better, Hawkins rolls out of the ring. Hawkins drags the deadweight Mo up and tosses him into the ring. All smiles, Hawkins stands onto the apron and watches as Mo gets up in the ring. Hawkins springboard and flies, connecting with The Full Moon Rising! Hawkins covers, 1,2,3! Wolf Hawkins steals one for The Syndicate. Jason Azaria: Wolf Hawkins gets the win, but…Aztec Prince? As Hawkins gets up in the ring, Aztec Prince hops back over the barricade and slides into the ring. Hawkins and Prince stare each other down for a short moment…before the two men shake hands! As if he’s the referee, Prince raises Wolf’s hand and declares him the victor. Looking down at Mo on the mat, Hawkins can’t help himself but laugh. Kyle Rhodes: I think we just got our answer, Jason. I think Wolf Hawkins just found another member for his Syndicate. Jason Azaria: Wolf did promise us a new era for The Syndicate, a dominant era. The phenom known as Aztec Prince would certainly fit that description. TCW World Tag Team Championship Four Corners Tag Team Elimination Match W.M.D. ( C ) Vs. The Syndicate (Akima Brave & Chris Flynn) Vs. Tana & T-Bone Vs. The Shade Gang (Marc Speed & Matt Hocking) Tana The Mighty takes over the match when he gets tagged in, clotheslining and chopping everything that moves. His dominance, though, makes Tana a target, as the rest of the competitors target him all at once, knowing their chances are better without Tana around. As Tana is about to set Marc Speed up for a Two Handed Chokeslam, Matt Hocking leaps off the top rope with a Double Axe Handle. Together, W.M.D. drop the giant with a double shoulder block. As Tana try to stand, The Syndicate work together to lift the giant in the air, and drop him with a Double Back Suplex. As Tana rolls out of the ring, T-Bone Bright tags himself in and goes on an rampage in the hopes to save his team’s chances. After knocking both W.M.D. and The Syndicate to the floor, T-Bone sets the legal man Speed up for a Running Powerslam. But, Speed’s partner Hocking stops that with a perfect chop block. Both T-Bone and Speed crumble to the mat, and Speed quickly takes advantage of his partner’s work and applies the Deadly Heel Hook to T-Bone! With Tana down outside the ring, T-Bone has no choice but to tap! Tana & T-Bone are eliminated! Kyle Rhodes: A whole lot of girth has been removed from this match, and now we’re down to three teams. Chris Flynn disposes of the Shade Gang by gorilla pressing Hocking out of the ring, dumping him onto his own partner Speed at ringside. After rocking the legal man Human Arsenal with a running big boot, Flynn knocks his partner One Man Army off the apron. Looking to knock out W.M.D., Flynn plants Arsenal with the Brutal Enforcement, then tags in Akima Brave. Brave flies to the top rope for his Suicide Headbutt, but from ringside One Man Army pulls Arsenal out of the way! Brave crashes and burns! Arsenal tags in One Man Army, comes into the ring on fire, first knocking Speed & Hocking off the apron as they try to get involved. Army dodges a big boot by Flynn, then shows off his strength by planting Flynn with the Guided Missile! Army sets his eyes on Akima Brave, still recovering from crashing from the top rope. Army has Brave up on his shoulders as Arsenal heads to the top rope! Here we go! The Doomsday Device! They hit it! Army covers, 1,2,3! The Syndicate has been eliminated! Jason Azaria: W.M.D. proves why they have been dominant tag team champions! Kyle Rhodes: You could definitely see the experience there. Arsenal & Army have been partners longer than Brave & Flynn, and it showed. Jason Azaria: And here we go, once again it is down to these heated rivals, W.M.D. & The Shade Gang! W.M.D. & The Shade Gang face off in the ring, then suddenly charge each other and begin swinging. The brawlers Army & Arsenal eventually overwhelm Speed & Hocking, then send them flying with a double back body toss. The two teams begin to go back and forth, exchanging their best maneuvers. Hocking rocks Army with a Flying Knee off the Top Rope. Arsenal crushes Hocking with a Tilt A Whirl Backbreaker. Speed plants Arsenal with an Olympic Slam. Army drives Speed into the mat with a textbook Spinebuster. As Speed tries to recover, Army calls for the Doomsday Device again. As W.M.D. prepare for the end, the third wheel of Shade Gang, Troy Tornado, climbs onto the apron. Bouncing up and down on the second rope, Tornado yells at W.M.D., hoping to distract them as long as possible. In the end, Tornado gets a fist in the mouth by Army! Tornado flips over the top rope and crashes hard into the ring. Referee Johnson tries to get Tornado out of the ring as Army has Speed up on his shoulders for the Doomsday Device. As Arsenal climbs to the top rope to complete the maneuver, Hocking comes up behind Army and delivers a low blow behind the referee’s back! Kyle Rhodes: Come on! Army immediately crumbles to the mat, dropping Speed. Arsenal hops off the top rope and attacks Hocking. Arsenal sets up Hocking for the Ammo Dump, but gets attacked by Speed before he can do. With Army down and hurt, Arsenal is stuck all alone with the Shade Gang. Speed & Hocking has Arsenal up in the air. Arsenal gets spiked with a Double Elevated DDT! Speed covers, 1,2,3! We Got New Tag Team Champions! Jason Azaria: The Shade Gang steal the gold! Here are your winners…and NEW TCW World Tag Team Champions, Marc Speed…Matt Hocking…The Shade Gang! Speed & Hocking quickly bail from the ring before a recovered One Man Army can get his hands on them. An ecstatic Troy Tornado greets his buddies at ringside, the Tag Team Titles in his grasp. Knowing better to stick around, the Shade Gang celebration heads up the entrance stage, but the celebration never stops for a second. Kyle Rhodes: It took a few tries, but they finally did it. The Shade Gang have pried the Tag Titles away from W.M.D. Jason Azaria: It’s safe to say Army & Arsenal aren’t going to just let this stand. I’m sure they knew the odds weren’t going to be in their favor, and unfortunately, they couldn’t overcome them. W.M.D. are forced to watch as Shade Gang celebrate like a bunch of kids who just won a little league baseball game. While Shade Gang are all smiles with the gold, you can see it in the eyes of Army & Arsenal. They can’t wait until they can get their rematch. W.M.D.’s 1st TCW Tag Team Title reign comes to an end after 140 Days. W.M.D. successfully defended the Tag Titles 7 times. This was the One Man Army’s 6th TCW Tag Title Reign, and Human Arsenal’s 4th. Shade Gang’s Marc Speed & Matt Hocking begin their 1st Tag Title reign together. This is the first TCW Tag Title reign for both men. IT’S TIME FOR THE MAIN EVENT! TCW World Heavyweight Championship Match Aaron Andrews ( C ) Vs. Chord points and yells at Special Enforcer Joss Thompson to get his “butt” in the ring! Jason Azaria: Joss Thompson needs to get in the ring! He needs to take over the match with Ric Young down! Thompson comes to the realization of the moment and slides into the ring. Thompson counts the pinfall! 1,2,3NO! Andrews BARELY gets his shoulder up! The crowd goes nuts, while Chord is irate. Chord gets to his feet and gets right into Thompson’s face, blaming him. Thompson barks right back him, telling Chord it was a fair count and to focus on the match. Chord does so and begins to drag Andrews up, but then stops. Instead, Chord exits the ring and grabs a steel chair. Kyle Rhodes: What is Jay thinking?! Chord slides back into the ring, ready to blast Andrews with the weapon. Joss Thompson orders Chord to get rid of the chair, but Jay isn’t listening. Chord storms forward and gets ready to swing, but Thompson pulls the chair away from Chord! Thompson throws the chair out of the ring. Chord gets back in Thompson’s face as the two argue back and forth. Thompson: It’s not ending like that! I won’t let it happened! He raises a fist in the air while also clutching the back of his neck. Meanwhile, Joss Thompson retrieves the World Title to hand to Andrews. But…Thompson pauses for a moment and looks over the title belt. Andrews notices this, and calls out to Thompson to break the trance. The two stare at each other for a moment before Thompson reluctantly hands over the title belt. Thompson then raises Andrews’s arm in the air as the victor. Aaron watches Joss while he does so. Kyle Rhodes: What a tense moment that was. Joss Thompson did his best as Special Enforcer tonight, but let’s not fool ourselves. There’s a reason why Thompson came to TCW, and that reason is the World Title that belongs to Aaron Andrews. Jason Azaria: I think it’s only a matter of time until we see those two men compete for the richest prize in professional wrestling. Kyle Rhodes: And I can’t wait until it happens! Joss Thompson takes his leave from the ring, leaving Andrews to celebrate his momentous title defense. Fireworks begin to blast off over the ring as Andrews enjoys this moment with the thousands of fans on their feet for the World Champion. Meanwhile, seated on the floor at ringside, Jay Chord watches all this occur. It is clear by the look on his face that he isn’t happy with what went down. Jason Azaria: We can talk about Joss Thompson, but after what we just watched, I’m sure Jay Chord is going to want another title shot, and he’s going to want it soon. Kyle Rhodes: The World Title picture is certainly getting filled with some big names. Aaron Andrews is going to have a tough task in keeping that championship belt. Jason Azaria: Yet, it’s a task I’m sure Aaron is up for. Folks, thank you for joining us tonight for TCW Summer Showdown. We hope you had a good time. What’s next for Total Championship Wrestling? 18. July – Week 4 – 2020 Tuesday Nightmare – Backstage At The Guerilla Position Minutes After Total Wrestling Goes Off Air Head Booker Ricky Dale Johnson can hear the commotion after pushing through the curtains. The live crowd is still plenty hot from the closing segment, and apparently the same emotion is backstage. At the guerilla position, high fives are exchanged and smiles are bright. In the middle of it all, Joss Thompson is the center of the discussion after a very successful debut. RDJ can tell that everyone backstage feels what he felt. The last segment of Total Wrestling this evening was a scripted contract signing for the TCW World Heavyweight Match between Aaron Andrews and Jay Chord at Summer Showdown.[/b][/color] The segment itself was red hot, as the live crowd was clearly hyped for a matchup between two of the best wrestlers in the world. But, the reveal that Joss Thompson had joined TCW at the end of the show was the tip over. If fans didn’t know before, now they knew that Summer Showdown’s main event was going to be a special moment. But the Joss Thompson signing itself meant a lot for TCW. After years of dragging itself along, the company was finally back in the fight with SWF and USPW. In fact, for the last few months, TCW’s product had been rated the best in the United States. The Joss Thompson signing, though, was a big shot at the competitors. It was a warning that let other companies know, especially USPW, that TCW was here for a war. TCW was no longer going to be punching bag for them. Joss Thompson had cost CEO Kyle Rhodes a truck load of money to sign, probably more money than Kyle would ever admit aloud. But, Kyle’s massive smile in the middle of that backstage celebration said a lot. Yeah, BriCo almost definitely grieved Kyle over the huge contract signing, no matter what plans Kyle has to eventually purchase TCW. But, Kyle saw the big picture of this signing. He didn’t just sign Joss Thompson just because it was a big, flashy move for TCW. Kyle understood just how big of a power move it was to reestablish TCW in the wrestling business. RDJ waited for his moment to swerve through the crowd backstage to deliver a heavy clap on Joss Thompson’s shoulder, just to make sure he got his attention. Joss turned to RDJ and smiled before the two men shared a quick hug. RDJ: Pretty good debut, eh? Thompson: Oh man, hell yeah. Thank you for setting me up big time. RDJ: It was my pleasure. I’m just happy to finally have you over here. Been a fan of your work for a long time. RDJ definitely had said that to other wrestlers in the past and had been lying out of his rear. It just was a nice thing to say to new faces, and who was going to call out a veteran like Rick? In Joss’s instance though, RDJ was telling the truth. Even when Joss was still across seas, RDJ saw the talent in Joss. Not just that, he saw a big, muscular talent and all Rick could think was money. Thompson: I’d love to really sit down you and talk over ideas. Whenever you got a chance. RDJ: Absolutely. How about breakfast? Thompson: Breakfast sounds good. RDJ: Alright, let’s work it out later. Enjoy your first night here. RDJ and Thompson embraced quickly one more time before Rick pushed his way through the mass of humanity until he could find an empty corner all to himself. Easing into a chair, RDJ pulled out his cellphone to find a single text message from his wife. Good show, hun. That guy at end seemed really important. RDJ couldn’t help but smile at his wife’s attempt to bond with him about his occupation. Rick was certain that there was no chance in hell that she ever heard the name “Joss Thompson” before this evening. Yeah, he is important. Good dude. RDJ looked up when he felt a presence, just as he was being greeted. Standing before him was one of TCW’s newest wrestlers, Aztec Prince. A luchador from Chile, Prince stood out from other superstars down south because of his physique and powerful maneuvers, yet he was still able to move swiftly. It was why he caught the idea of scout Joel Bryant earlier this year. Prince: Excuse me, Mr. Johnson. Sorry, I knew you wished to speak earlier but I couldn’t find you alone until now. He had no business being surprised, but RDJ still admired the honor behind the lucha libre mask. It’s a level of kayfabe that it is pretty much dead in today’s world where we are all connected. RDJ had yet to see Aztec Prince’s face, as he always showed up to work in mask. Here Prince was, standing before RDJ when he didn’t even have a match or even an appearance tonight, yet he still wore the mask. RDJ also found himself falling for the usual stereotypes, because there was a part of him surprised by how well Prince’s English was. Despite having a strong accent, RDJ understood everything the he said. Truth was, Prince worked hard on his English, not wanting it to be a road block in his career. Plus, word in the locker room was that his real life girlfriend Haley Buck was assisting him on becoming better on the mic. RDJ: No problem, kid. It’s been a busy day. Prince: Is there something I can help you with? RDJ: I just wanted to inform you of my plans for you. You’ve done a good job the last couple of months, putting your name out as the new star. It’s time to cash in. I got an angle for you I’d like to run, I think it could really work. And, to be blunt, it’s a pretty big plan. So, are you ready for your big push? Prince: I am ready, Mr. Johnson. Whatever you need, I am ready. RDJ: Geez kid, drop the Mr. Johnson. I feel old enough. Call me Rick or RDJ. Prince: Sorry. Rick, then. What is it that you need from me? RDJ: Well, if we’re going to discuss this, let’s do this right. There’s someone else that needs to be a part of this conversation… Please Enjoy A Brand New Episode Of TCW Uprising!
  19. Finances are good right now after a couple new PPVs contracts and other things, but I won't be dishing out a bunch more contracts like that, that's for sure. And I agree about the babyface thing, I rarely ever rolled with Joss as a face in prior games, which is why I kind of want to do it this time. Did the same with Frederique when I brought him him, trying something different. Plus, there's a bunch of guys already on the TCW roster that are vastly better at being a heel than babyface.
  20. 4 years 200K per month 20% per event 40% Merchandise Cut Trust me when I tell you, I was cringing by the final offer. Joss and USPW made it very difficult. I almost backed out numerous times. If he wasn't one of "my guys," that contract absolutely would have never happened.
  21. Joss Thompson has always been a personal favorite of mine, so this was a no-brainer, guilty pleasure signing. My longest TEW2013 TCW game consisted of Joss Thompson becoming Tommy Cornell's second-in-command in the Syndicate, only for Joss to betray Tommy and become the new leader. Which, of course, led to Cornell Vs. Thompson in the Total Mayhem main event. I got one more big signing to debut before I slow down with all these talent steals. I'm just about satisfied with the current state of the roster, so I'm going to start focusing primarily on developing new stars. Pretty much, the only steals from now on will be uber talents and any other guilty pleasures of mine.
  22. July – Week 4 – 2020 Please Enjoy A Brand New Episode Of TCW Presents Total Wrestling! Jason Azaria: We are mere days away from Summer Showdown 2020! Welcome everyone to TCW Presents Total Wrestling! Tonight, we will see the contract signing of the TCW World Heavyweight Championship Match between Aaron Andrews and Jay Chord. One of the most epic title matches in TCW history will become official tonight! Kyle Rhodes: Not just that, just days before his war with Mighty Mo, Wolf Hawkins will face for the first time ever the masked marvel known as Masked Cougar! We will also see Sammy Bach and Freddy Huggins battle in a Six Man Tag Team Match right before their one-on-one encounter at Summer Showdown. Jason Azaria: All that, and plenty more action tonight. But we are starting tonight with some turmoil. At Summer Showdown, we will see a Four Corners Tag Team Elimination for the TCW Tag Team Championship. In our opening contest tonight, each team is sending out a member to represent themselves in a Fatal Four Way. Kyle Rhodes: But most importantly, each competitor’s partner is banned from ringside for this match! Tana The Mighty defeats One Man Army, Matt Hocking, & Chris Flynn in a Fatal Four Way Match It is absolute mayhem in tonight’s opening contest, with action all over the place. Every time it looks like someone has the pinfall or submission, another competitor comes flying in to break it up. In the end, it’s the giant who takes control. Tana The Mighty lifts Matt Hocking into the gorilla press and dumps Matt onto One Man Army at ringside, wiping both men out. Chris Flynn sneaks up and staggers Tana with a big boot to the face, but when he tries to charge Tana full speed, Flynn runs right into a giant chop to the skull! Flynn down, Tana bounces off the ropes and crushes the Syndicate member with the Big Fat Samoan Splash! 1,2,3, Tana picks up the big win for his team. Partner T-Bone Bright and manager Dharma Gregg join Tana The Mighty inside the ring to celebrate his big victory. Kyle Rhodes enters the ring to conduct an interview with the tag team about the big win, and Tana & T-Bone show that they are excited and now confident going into the Tag Title Match at Summer Showdown. T-Bone: The big guy Tana just proved now that we have the ability to survive that Four Corners Match at Summer Showdown, that we have all we need to become the new Tag Team Champions! Tana: I squashed Chris Flynn tonight. I squash everyone at Summer Showdown! Sinner Society (Killer Shark & Petr Novak) defeat Jack Avatar & Red Panther Squash Match! Poor Avatar and Panther, they never stood a chance. Shark & Novak have their fun beating up on them. Novak finally puts them out of their misery after a huge Choke Slam to Red Panther. Manager Floyd Goldworthy and fellow Sinner Society member Nick Booth join Killer Shark & Petr Novak in the ring post-match. All smiles, Goldworthy is about to speak. But, before he can lift the mic to his lips, “Radio Ga Ga” by Queen begins to play. Out comes Beautiful Love, and the three men aren’t smiling like they usually do. Diamond, Fonzarelli, & Frederique march down to the ring for revenge! Beautiful Love rush into the ring, and all out war ensues between the two groups! Jason Azaria: We have over a ton of mass fighting in the right now! Hopefully, the ring doesn’t collapse! Motivated by the revenge, Beautiful Love eventually sends Killer Shark and Nick Booth tumbling to the floor. Refusing to back down, Petr Novak is ready to fight all three. Floyd Goldworthy, though, convinces his latest acquisition to fight another day and exit the ring. As Sinner Society retreat up the entranceway, Frederique picks up the mic Goldworthy dropped on the mat. Frederique: Hey big boys! Did you really think we were just going accept that beating you gave us and just stay down? No no no, Beautiful Love is all about having fun, but one of our favorite ways to have is by having a big fight! So come on Sinner Society, let’s have some fun. Let’s have a big ol’ Six Man Tag at Summer Showdown! As Goldworthy continues to hold back his men on the entrance stage, Floyd responds to Frederique off-mic. Goldworthy: You want a Six man Tag? You got your Six Man Tag! Kyle Rhodes: We’ll have to find out if this is official, but it looks like we got one big tag team match now set for Summer Showdown. Jason Azaria: The ring survived tonight, but it will definitely have to be reinforced for such a massive Six Man Tag! Mr. Lucha defeats Elliot Thomas Mr. Lucha continues down his path to make a name for himself in TCW. This time, it’s the veteran Elliot Thomas in his way. The competitors exchange some flashy moves, as Thomas offers Lucha his toughest challenge yet. Yet, in the end, Lucha is again flying off the top rope and connecting with the beautiful Lucha Sault. Lucha picks up the three count and the win. Commissioner Ricky Dale Johnson is shown in his office backstage, finishing preparations for tonight’s World Title Contract Signing. There’s a knock at the door, and in comes Kirk Jameson. Ire radiating in the air, RDJ and Jameson stare at each other a long moment before either says anything. RDJ: Must be nice to walk in backstage with access than…ya know…break the law and jump the barricade. Jameson: Very funny, just give me my contract to sign. Smirking, RDJ retrieves a clipboard and hands it to Jameson for him to sign. RDJ: Now, let’s just be clear, this is a one day contract for Summer Showdown. If you lose to Edd Stone, then you will be punished soundly by the law if you ever step onto TCW property ever again. But, if you win? You got what you want. You get your legit TCW contract. Jameson is the one smirking now as he signs the one day contract and hands the clipboard back to RDJ. Jameson: Do me a favor, Rick. Stop acting like you’re ending up on the short straw in all of us. After I choke Edd Stone out? You officially get to sign the hottest free agent in all of professional wrestling. You’re welcome. Devine Fortune defeat Crockett Tubbs & Yuri Yoshihara Squash match! Daryl Devine & Chance Fortune show why they have been a successful TCW tag team for so long. They have their way with Tubbs and Yoshihara before Devine puts Tubbs away with the Devine Dream Drop. After a hype video is shown for the match between Mighty Mo and Wolf Hawkins at Summer Showdown, Wolf Hawkins himself is shown backstage giving final instructions to Doc Hammond before Doc heads out for his match with Mainstream Hernandez. When Hammond leaves, Hawkins turns to the camera as he proceeds to hype his upcoming match with Masked Cougar. Hawkins: Mighty Mo, I hope you’re watching tonight. Yeah, Masked Cougar might be smaller than you, and he might be an entirely different wrestler. But, there is no difference for someone like me, I’ve beaten them all. Big or small, powerhouse or high flier. They all fall to the Syndicate. You’re going to get a wakeup call tonight, Mo, when you see what I do to Masked Cougar. You’re going to realize what is waiting for you at Summer Showdown. And Cougar? Well, you’re going to learn how much a fool you’ve been to challenge The Syndicate. Mainstream Hernandez defeats Doc Hammond Hernandez and Hammond go back and forth, proving that both are on top of their game heading into the TV Title Gauntlet Match at Summer Showdown. Unfortunately, their match is ruined by TV Champion Greg Gauge! As Hernandez looks to finish the match, Gauge hits the ring and attacks Mainstream from behind. As Gauge pummels Hernandez, Referee Young has no choice but to call for the bell and Disqualify Doc Hammond! Jason Azaria: The TV Champion has just ruined this great encounter! Proving that this attack is not just about his new rival Mainstream Hernandez, Greg Gauge attacks Doc Hammond as well. Hammond gets planted by Gauge’s finisher, the Broken Gauge! Gauge then turns his attention back to Hernandez and locks him in the Proton Lock in the middle of the ring! Hernandez screams in agony as Referee Young pleads with Gauge to break the submission. After a long time, Gauge eventually does. Gauge grabs the TV Title from his manager Juliet Balconi at ringside, then stands over both Hernandez and Hammond, holding the title belt up high. The Syndicate’s Akima Brave & Chris Flynn rush to the ring to avenge Hammond, but Gauge smartly exits the ring before they can get to him. Kyle Rhodes: I don’t approve of what Greg Gauge just did, but I get it. Everyone is talking about the big Gauntlet Match and the five challengers to the TV Title. Despite all that, Greg Gauge is still the man who has been a dominant champion for close to a year, and he’s not afraid of the challenge. Jason Azaria: Gauge won’t know who he will be competing against in the Gauntlet Match, but as TV Champion, he has the right to go last in the contest. Will Greg Gauge still be holding the TV Title when it is all said and done at Summer Showdown? Joshua Taylor defeats Too Hot Too Hot gets one good hit in on Taylor and acts like he won the match. That’s all Too Hot manages to do the rest of the match, because a ticked off Taylor proceeds to beat him up the rest of the time. Too Hot taps frantically when locked in the Butterfly Lock, giving Taylor the dominant win. As Joshua Taylor gets his hand raised, his music is quickly interrupted by “Man with a Plan” by Chapel of Rock. Much to his surprise though, it is not Davis Wayne Newton who comes out to his music, but instead Newton’s manager Haley Buck appears. Scowling all the way, Buck marches down to the ring and walks right up to Taylor with a mic in her hand. Buck: Who do you think you are? You cost my client Davis Wayne Newton his match last week, when you had no business being down at ringside. You think that makes you a big man? I think it makes you a coward, Josh. You know Davis is better than you, and you know your little roll up win at Excessive Force meant NOTHING. You see your career on the decline and you see Davis on the rise, and you’re absolutely jealous. You need to see the truth for your own good. Next time you and Davis are in the ring? You are going to-… Joshua Taylor suddenly spins around and kicks Davis Wayne Newton right in the head with the Gamengiri! Taylor knew something was amiss and was ready for the trap! Taylor tries to pummel Newton on the mat, but Davis smartly flees from the ring. Jason Azaria: Well, that backfired big time on Davis and Haley! Kyle Rhodes: Joshua Taylor has been doing this for way too long to fall for such an obvious trap! Their plan foiled, Newton and Buck throw a tantrum as they head up the entranceway. A mocking grin on his face, Taylor picks up the mic that Buck dropped in the ring. Taylor: Hey Davis, you better hope we don’t meet up in the Gauntlet Match this Sunday. You want cry about the two losses on your record? Well…you’re REALLY not going to like your third! Six Man Tag Team Match Sammy Bach & Benny & The Foxx defeat Freddy Corp. (Huggins, Watson, & Remus) Freddy Corp. control a lengthy part of the match, but when Sammy Bach gets the hot tag, the Huggins squad is left reeling. It only gets worse for “Coach” Julian Watson & “Head of Security” Roderick Remus when their leader Freddy Huggins just bails on the match rather than squad off with Sammy Bach! As Huggins stands with his sister Laura Catherine on the entrance stage, Bach stares him down before locking Coach Watson in the Bach on your Back! Huggins just watches as Watson taps out to Bach’s submission! Jason Azaria: Freddy Huggins could run away tonight from Sammy Bach, but running will not be an option this Sunday at Summer Showdown. Kyle Rhodes: Freddy will finally have to man up and face the consequences of all his taunting and all the sneak attacks on Sammy Bach. I’m not sure Huggins really knows what type of trouble he’s in for! As Sammy Bach, Benny Benson, & Flying Jimmy Foxx celebrate their big tag team win here on Total Wrestling, Bach’s theme music suddenly dies, and the lights go off in the arena. Jason Azaria: Not again! Just like it has for weeks now, the titantron begins to go crazy with noise, while the PA begins to screech a high pitch. Suddenly, it all goes quiet and dark, and then we hear the echo of that single strike of the church bell. Unlike before, though, it is follow up by a voice, which is in fact a single line from Metallica. For Whom The Bell Tolls… It all goes quiet, and then a moment later it all returns to normal. The lights are back on, and Bach’s theme music is back to playing where it stopped. Bach, Benson, & Foxx all look around confused, not sure what to make of what just happened. Jason Azaria: This has been happening for a month now. What is going on?! Kyle Rhodes: Whatever it is, I think someone or something is trying to send a message. Message sent, I’m creeped out! IT’S TIME FOR THE MAIN EVENT! Wolf Hawkins defeats Masked Cougar Hawkins grows arrogant after controlling a lengthy part of the match, so when Cougar catches him with a dropkick in the face while leaping off the top rope, Wolf is left glass eyed and on wobbly legs! Cougar picks up the pace quickly and sends Hawkins reeling with move after move. Cougar leaps off the top rope and sends Hawkins flying with an amazing Hurricarana. When Hawkins staggers up, he gets hit with the Cougar Pounce! Hawkins is in serious trouble as Cougar heads to the top rope for his finisher, but Cougar halts when he sees Doc Hammond now standing at ringside! Referee Young warns Hammond not to interfere, but Hammond holds his hands up and pleads that he’s merely a bystander. The damage is done though, as Cougar wastes too much time going to the top rope, allowing Hawkins to crotch Cougar on the top turnbuckle! Cougar crashes to the mat, and with a smirk, Hawkins sets up for his own finisher. As Cougar staggers up, Hawkins takes to the air and connects with the Full Moon Rising! 1,2,3, Hawkins picks up the main event win. Jason Azaria: Hawkins takes down the masked marvel, but not without an assist from Doc Hammond. Wolf Hawkins pushes Referee Young aside as Doc Hammond quickly enters the ring and begins to beat down Masked Cougar. Hawkins gestures to the curtains, and the rest of the Syndicate come rushing down. Akima Brave and Chris Flynn hit the ring, and the three on one beatdown begins as Hawkins watches on with a smile. Kyle Rhodes: Come on! This isn’t necessary! The crowd goes nuts as “Breathe” by Fabulous hits the PA! Mighty Mo comes rushing to the ring, and he’s got backup! A steel chair in hand! Mo first swing is at Wolf Hawkins, but Hawkins smartly bails from the ring, and Mo’s swing hits only the ropes. Mo recovers, though, and begins to swing away on the rest of the Syndicate. He doesn’t miss them! Mo strikes Brave, Flynn, & Hammond with the chair. He strikes over and over until the Syndicate is sent into retreat! A scowl on his face, Hawkins calls his men back in retreat. Mighty Mo dares them to re-enter the ring, but Wolf Hawkins knows better to instruct his men to do so. Jason Azaria: Mighty Mo has saved Masked Cougar from serious damage! Wolf Hawkins must realize by now that no matter what he does, Mo is never going to back down from the Syndicate. Kyle Rhodes: It might not be the smartest thing to do, but Mighty Mo is not going to allow Wolf Hawkins and his henchmen get away with their vile action. Jason Azaria: This rivalry between Mo and Hawkins has become red hot, and I’m sure it’s only going to get crazier when they battle one-on-one at Summer Showdown! We are back from commercials, and the ring is all set up for the Contract Signing for the TCW World Title Match at Summer Showdown. Commissioner Ricky Dale Johnson is already standing by in the ring, and he introduces the challenger Jay Chord, then the TCW World Champion himself Aaron Andrews. Chord and Andrews both make it down to the ring, leading to a stare down between the two before RDJ insists they take a seat at the table set up. RDJ proceeds to hype the World Title Match before walking them through the contract signing. As the challenger, Chord is given the contract first to sign. Chord does, but before handing the contract over to the champion, Jay picks up the microphone placed before him. Chord: Aaron, I need you to understand something. This is the moment I’ve been waiting my entire career. Yeah, any World Title win is memorable, but this is the moment meant for someone like me. One of the greatest wrestlers ever to grace this business, right in the middle of his prime, is prepared to become World Champion on a highly prestigious show like Summer Showdown. The whole world is going to tune in to see me take that championship from you, Aaron. I’m not ignorant enough to take credit away from you like others have. You’re one of the best, Aaron, you truly are. But this Sunday, you will learn the truth, and the truth is I…am…better. I am better than you, and I am better than everyone else in this business. This Sunday, I’m going to take that championship belt, and I’m going to take my rightful place on top of the mountain. Chord pushes the contract across the table towards the World Champion. Andrews takes a moment to just look at Chord and just smile at what Jay just said. Andrews does things a bit different than Chord, as he decides to talk first before signing. Andrews: Well, I guess I appreciate you complimenting me a bit there, Jay. But just like everyone else, you’ve convinced yourself that you’re just going to walk in and take the World Title like it’s a breeze. No matter how long I wear this title and who I beat, there’s always going to be arrogant guys like you. That’s fine, though, I don’t mind. It is makes it more satisfying when I put shoulders to the mat and retain my title. Jay, we are going to put on one hell of a show at Summer Showdown. It is truly going to be one to remember. But, if I’m going to be the fighting champion I want to be, if I’m going to go down in history as one of the best, then I have to win when faced with my toughest challenges. You truly are one of my toughest challengers, Jay, but I’m going to put you down just like I put down the rest of them. I’m going to walk into Summer Showdown with the World Title, and I’m going to walk out still the champion when the smoke clears. That said, Andrews signs the contract on the dotted line, then hands it back to RDJ. The Commish picks up his own mic while raising the contract into the air. RDJ: It is now one-hundred percent official! This Sunday at Summer Showdown, in one of the biggest matches in our company’s history, Aaron Andrews and Jay Chord will battle for the TCW…World…Heavyweight…Championship! Cue the pop, the crowd goes nuts for the Commish’s announcement. Meanwhile, Andrews and Chord continue to stare each other down across the table. RDJ: So, I suppose this contract signing is finished. Well, actually, there is one more thing… RDJ pauses, leading Andrews and Chord to break their stare and look up towards the Commish. RDJ: Ya see, I wanted to do my best that this match truly is epic. I don’t want any shenanigans messing up the match this Sunday. Just curious, did either of you read ALL the details in the contract? Not knowing what Rick means, both competitors share a confused glance with each other. RDJ: Yeah…you kiddies never read the small print. Well, if you did, then you would have read that I have enlisted a Special Enforcer for this World Title Match. This Special Enforcer is going to back up the referee from ringside, and he is going to make sure no one interferes in this contest. So without further to do, allow me to introduce the Special Enforcer…and the NEWEST signing to Total Championship Wrestling! Chord and Andrews both rise from their seats and turn as RDJ gestures towards the curtains. The arena suddenly goes dark for a moment. “Ten Thousand Fists” by Disturbed begins to play, and a hooded dark figure appears in a lone spotlight on the entrance stage. As the Disturbed song picks up, fireworks blast off on the stage. The lights return to the arena, and the mystery man steps forward and throws off his hood! Kyle Rhodes: OH MY GOD! Jason Azaria: I can’t believe it! It’s JOSS THOMPSON! Joss Thompson is here in Total Championship Wrestling! Kyle Rhodes: Am I dreaming?! Joss Thompson?! The Multi-Time World Champion is here on Total Wrestling?! Jason Azaria: Believe it, Kyle! RDJ just blew us away with a massive blockbuster! The live crowd is going absolute nuts by the surprise, while Chord and Andrews merely watch on in awe. Chord seems to be scowling a little, while Andrews grins a bit while shaking his head. Joss Thompson, meanwhile, looks over the pumped crowd, welcoming him to TCW. Thompson nods in appreciation then points down towards the steel flooring at his feet. Thompson: This is my house! This is my house now! Reacting along with the lyrics, Thompson thrusts his fist up into the air. Just like that, the arena is flooded with raised fists in the air. Jason Azaria: What a surprise to close out Total Wrestling! Folks, please make sure to contact your cable company, because you are not going to want to miss TCW Summer Showdown. Tune in this Sunday for one of the biggest matches ever in TCW. Aaron Andrews versus Jay Chord for the World Heavyweight Championship, and yes! Joss Thompson is here in TCW, and he will be the match’s Special Enforcer!
  23. July – Week 3 – 2020 Tuesday Evening – Backstage at Evanovich Riverside Minutes Before Total Wrestling Goes Live The dark matches are underway to warm up the crowd for tonight’s episode, but Head Booker Ricky Dale Johnson has no interest in them. After running around for the last couple of hours to get the show ready, all RDJ wants to do is Facetime his daughter, knowing full well he won’t have another chance to before she goes to bed. After making sure everything is set for the show, RDJ finds a quiet corner in the backstage area. RDJ is literally scrolling through his phone to click on his daughter’s number when he hears his name called. Recognizing the voice immediately, RDJ knows that his hope to see his daughter’s face tonight has dwindled. Kyle Rhodes, CEO of Total Championship Wrestling, is approaching him with a smile. Not only is Kyle’s assistant following him as always, there is another man approaching RDJ. It’s Mitch Naess, a veteran announcer who has done some work with TCW from time to time recently. Rhodes: Rick! I’ve been trying to talk to you all day long! RDJ: *shrugs* I’ve been here since four, Kyle. Maybe if you weren’t kissing up to rich moguls all day long? Rhodes: Hey, those moguls are one of the reasons why TCW can pay everyone a decent paycheck. RDJ: Well, in that case, keep kissing that mogul butt. I got two kids to put through college, and still hope to buy that big yacht one day. Rhodes: Then, kiss butt I shall. But right now, I got some news for you. RDJ: Christ, Kyle. You’ve given me plenty of news recently, more than my heart can handle. You really are trying to kill me, aren’t you? Rhodes: *smiles* I swear Rick, you can manage with this one. It’s something that I should’ve been done for awhile. Do you know Mitch here? RDJ: Of course I know, Mitch. How ya doing? Naess: Doing good. And you? RDJ: Well, everyone wants to beat up on the Booker, but I manage. Naess: Trust me, I know. Being the booker can be quite the ugly job sometimes. Mitch is referring to his own wrestling company, Pittsburgh Steel Wrestling. After being the voice of the company DAVE for so long, Naess decided to become his own boss. There in PSW, he tried to rebuild the spirit of the company he spent so many years working for. Thirteen years later, PSW is still rolling along thanks to Mitch’s leadership. Rhodes: Thanks to Mitch here, I can finally do something I wanted to do for awhile. RDJ: Oh yeah? He going to help you write the next great American novel? Rhodes: *laughs* Maybe later, but not now. No Rick, Mitch here is going to allow me to finally retire from the commentary team. RDJ straightens and looks at Kyle wide-eyed. RDJ: You serious? Rhodes: *nods* Serious as could be. I’ve wanted to pull back for awhile now and focus almost entirely on being the CEO. I finally can do that now that I’ve found the right people to replace me. RDJ: You said “people.” Mitch here got a twin or something? Rhodes: *chuckles* No, Mitch is just one of the guys replacing me at the announce table. I’m also adding MC Motormouth to the main commentary team. I think he did an interesting job covering for me the last two weeks. I like his heel approach to commentary. It’s something the product could really use. RDJ: I think MC did a pretty good job, too. But…weren’t you grooming Shawn (Doakes) & Jasmine (Saunders) to eventually take over on the main crew? Kyle seems to cringe a bit, uncomfortable by the subject. He gives a little shrug of the shoulders. Rhodes: Yes, that was the plan, the hope. Both started off promising, but to be frank? They seemed to have peaked on commentary, well before they reached a level I’m comfortable with. They’re fine for now on the Uprising team, but on the main crew for Total Wrestling & Pay-Per-Views? I hate to say it but no, neither have proven to me that they can be a major voice for TCW. RDJ: Dang man, that’s a bit harsh, Kyle. I’m not sure they’re going to be happy that MC gets promoted and they don’t. Rhodes: *shakes head* It’s not like I expected MC to come in on a tryout and impress us immensely. I won’t play favorites or avoid decisions that will hurt feelings. The truth is MC has impressed me in ways Shawn or Jasmine hasn’t. RDJ: Alright, I hear you. How does Jay (Jason Azaria) feel all about this? Rhodes: Jay is the other who originally suggested Mitch join the commentary team. He enjoyed working with Mitch during the times they have broadcasted together. Plus, I don’t know if you know this, but Jay also wants to call it a day, and he’d prefer sooner rather than later. RDJ: Wow, and Mitch is going to take over the playcalling when Jay retires? Kyle Rhodes turns to Mitch Naess and looks at him while he answers. Rhodes: Well, if Mitch is up to it, that’s what we hope? What d’ya say, Mitch? You up to the task? Naess: I’m certainly going to try my best. Jay’s leaving some big shoes to fill, but I’m ready to make some magic with him and MC. Rhodes: If everything goes well with the new team, then perhaps Jay will finally retire to that beach house he’s always bragging about. RDJ: What about PSW, Mitch? Are you still in charge over there? Naess: *nods* I intend for nothing to change with PSW, but I couldn’t pass up this opportunity here. Kyle & I have built an understanding that allows me to continue to be in charge of my company. RDJ: I get that. I wouldn’t want to give up my baby, either. So, we’re rolling with the three man crew? Rhodes: For now, at least. Let’s see how it goes. It’s been doing okay on Uprising, let’s see how it does on Total Wrestling and the big shows. RDJ: Alright, and when do you call it a day, Kyle? Rhodes: Well…I plan on Summer Showdown being my last hurrah. That’s why I gave the green light tonight for Kirk Jameson to break a little kayfabe. Kyle is referring to a segment that takes place on this week’s episode of Total Wrestling. In the midst of explaining his reasons for invading TCW, Kirk Jameson is going to pull the curtain back and refer to Kyle as “CEO” on live television. Despite being CEO of TCW since 2015, Kyle has never broken kayfabe on TCW TV. If a fan never read the dirt sheets online, then they would still think Kyle is nothing more than a Colour Commentator. RDJ: Well, I can’t remember many matches of mine that you and Jay didn’t call. It really is going to be the end of era when you both call it a day. Rhodes: I suppose, but it’s been me and Jay for nearly twenty-five years at that table. It’s time for some new lead voices in TCW. But, don’t think I’m completely done after Summer Showdown. I said I’m done commentary, but I’m still going to come out and do interview segments. I’d still like to help guys with their promos, help them move along storylines by being the guy out there with the mic. RDJ: Geez Kyle, you gave me hope there for a second. We just can’t get rid of you, can we? Rhodes: *laughs* Not completely! Heck, now that it will be my only on-air gig, I might just be obnoxious enough to give myself some cute occupational name. Like….I don’t know…how does Expert Journalist sound? RDJ: It sounds like you’re about to deliver breaking news on the six o’ clock news… Please Enjoy A Brand New Episode Of TCW Uprising! Uprising Shorts * In an interview with The Syndicate’s Doc Hammond, Hammond wants to avenge his tag loss from the last episode of Total Wrestling. With his rival Masked Cougar already booked to wrestle Syndicate leader Wolf Hawkins, Hammond challenges Mainstream Hernandez to a match for next week’s episode of Total Wrestling. Hammond: You pinned Davis Wayne Newton. You never pinned me, Hernandez. Fight me, and I’ll show the world you’re just another hot shot punk that is in over his head. I’ll put a whooping on you, Mainstream, and then I’ll go on to Summer Showdown to become the first EVER…2-Time TCW Television Champion! Before this Uprising episode is finished, it is revealed that Hernandez has accepted the challenge. It’s official, Hammond & Hernandez will battle next week on Total Wrestling! ** Commissioner Ricky Dale Johnson requests that the TCW World Tag Team Champions W.M.D. join him on the interview stage. Led by their manager Vita, One Man Army & Human Arsenal oblige the Commish. There, RDJ informs the champs that he has a plan to settle the mayhem that currently exists at the top of the tag team division. RDJ: At Summer Showdown, you guys will defend the Tag Titles in a Four Corners Elimination Match. The last team standing leaves with the gold! As for your challengers? Well, you know them very well. Your challengers are The Shade Gang’s Marc Speed & Matt Hocking…Tana & T-Bone...and The Syndicate’s Akima Brave & Chris Flynn! Despite the big challenge waiting for them at Summer Showdown, W.M.D. show no sign of worry over RDJ’s announcement. As usual, Vita talks for her men. Vita: Rick? That is all fine by us. You can stack up the challengers however you want, it just makes it easier for my boys to take them all down. My boys have beaten them all already. And at Summer Showdown? W.M.D. will beat them all again!
  24. He's in decline but it's slow, a point here and there. Menace hasn't changed yet, an excellent 96. Despite no mention in the "news" category of Novak getting in better shape or muscular, his Star Quality has bumped from 64 to 68 since the start of the game. Poor Novak, though, his sex appeal is in decline.

Seemed like a perfect fit for the stable, even if temporarily.</p>
