Out of curiosity how many promotions are going to be added to the data?</p><p> </p><p> On a side note here are the results for "Showcase of the Immortals 40"</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/TZrF86D.jpg?1</span></p><p> </p><p> A good show with a mixed bag of match results. I knew the two men in the Main Event had poor chemistry which would affect the match grading but it made sense storyline wise for them to wrestle each other. The match had been set up with Danny Washington winning the title last month and Lawrence Christian winning the six man chamber match at Road to Immortality. Lawrence Christian begins another World Title reign with assistance from Rich E. Platinum. Moving forward Washington will want a rematch and how will Christian react to winning the title with help from his bitterest rival?</p><p> </p><p> Speaking of Rich E. Platinum despite his obvious problems with Danny Washington and Jewel the betrayal of his long time bodyguard, Big Ron Johnson was extremely hard to take. Big Ron has stated that they were never friends and he goes where the money is and that is Washington and Jewel. Platinum suffered a number of beatings at the hands of Big Ron in an effort to get his hands on Washington which led to this match between the two at this PPV. With Platinum winning the match I am sure the two will come to blows again as Big Ron tries to protect his new employer from Platinum.</p><p> </p><p> After losing the Television title to Maxwell Rogers earlier in the year, Philip Adorn felt he needed a defining moment to kickstart his career to a higher level and what better place to achieve this than Showcase of the Immortals and facing a true icon in Mr. Flawless. The match was set and Adorn put in a great performance in a back and forth match although coming up a little short. In a surprising turn of events after the match Mitchell Adorn makes his way out to the ring. After much posturing and "Holy Shit" chants Mitchell lays Philip out. Hopefully in the coming weeks we will find out why Mitchell attacked his brother.</p><p> </p><p> Since burying the hatchet, Exodus and Oblivion have laid waste to the ranks of the AWF. One man who has been desperate to get his hands on the pair is Patriarch, the man Oblivion put on the shelf for nine months. In order to fight the pair Patriarch has had to find a tag team partner - step forward Hulkenberg. Despite the defeat I am sure there will be plenty of opportunity for Patriarch to get his hands on Oblivion in the future.</p><p> </p><p> Maxwell Rogers has prided himself on being a fighting champion since winning the title and every win brings an increasing winning streak and ego. This month Rogers big mouth backed him into a threeway title match with Justin Roxdale and JC Grunge. Match of the night and win against two rivals won't slow down his ego any time soon.</p><p> </p><p> Hollywood Monroe and XYK had a good match but I am slightly running out of ideas for the Crusierweight title as Hollywood Monroe is head and shoulders above everyone else. A permanent return to the tag division may be needed for Monroe to open the cruiserweight title up a bit to others.</p><p> </p><p> In all a great show for our WrestleMania, good wrestling matches, furthering storylines and creating new storylines it sets us up nicely leading into our next major PPV "Summer Spectacular" in August.</p>
  2. <p>With that being said, amongst all the Fifa playing I have managed to complete through April 2016 and here are the results of "Mind Games 2016"</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/vf93wZ4.jpg?1</span></p><p> </p><p> Really pleased with the show. The last PPV left us with the cliffhanger of who was the father of Jewel's baby, which on the night after the PPV was revealed as Danny Washington. On planning the storyline my initial thought was having Mr. Flawless being the father so that I could have what would no doubt be an awesome feud between Flawless and Platinum, but then I thought it would be a great opportunity to push someone right up there with the top players in the main event. I considered Adorn and Roxdale but they aren't very good at portraying heels so I went with Danny Washington. </p><p> Jewel explained her side of the story, her and Platinum had been having problems, Platinum often pre-occupied with the title and running Money Inc. wanting to try and sort things out she was convinced by Cory Dex to try his love potion. Unfortunately, somehow the potion brought Jewel & Washington together. In what was only supposed to be a one off turned into an affair. Platinum flipped out trashing Cory Dex's lab and defeating him in a match. Washington and Platinum has several run ins over the month with Washington luring Platinum into a title match at this PPV with Platinum stipulating that Jewel be banned from ringside. Jewel did stay away from ringside but Big Ron turned on his longtime employer and helped Washington win the title. Platinum had been a bit of a tweener this month but he has turned full on face which opens up a lot of new scenarios and should be interesting to see how Washington does as champion.</p><p> </p><p> In other storylines, Philip Adorn has been a little bit unhappy with things lately and feels that he needs a Showcase of the Immortals moment to really push his career, so he has challenged Mr. Flawless to a match at Showcase of the Immortals. Flawless had originally declined but over the course of the month agreed to the match at SOTI, with the tag match at this PPV being setup due to the issues between the four men.</p><p> </p><p> Exodus and Oblivion have been destroying everyone lately. They attacked Cornbread Grits Jr. putting him out of action for a couple of weeks. After attacking them the Millionaire's Club looked for revenge and Saint Lazarus asked for a title match. The other people that Saint's Demons attacked wanted to get their hands on the Demons so the match became a four team match. As the beatdown continued after the match Patriarch made his return to the promotion running off Exodus and Oblivion.</p><p> </p><p> It seems Marco Keylong was not keen on jobbing and asked for his early release after the last PPV. As he was not renewing his contract I let him out early. He has since signed with 2CW and ROF. I have since signed Adrian Gray who debuted at this PPV and VIP who will join up soon.</p><p> </p><p> Showcase of the Immortals our biggest PPV of the year is next month. It should be a good PPV with a number of matches already set in stone (Christian/Washington, Adorn/Flawless) and a number of great matches planned.</p>
  3. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="LoNdOn" data-cite="LoNdOn" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42042" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Love reading these updates. I think this save would have made for a really interesting diary.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks London, I really enjoy posting the updates as I'm having such fun with the game. Looking at other peoples diaries I don't think graphically or entertainment wise I could produce anything like the diaries others produce and I don't really have the time to regularly update, most of my spare time recently has been spent playing Fifa 17.</p>
  4. <p>I have run the March PPV and here are the results of "Road to Immortality 2016"</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/tx3mcy8.jpg?1</span></p><p> </p><p> Fantastic show and my new highest rated show playing TEW 2016.</p><p> </p><p> The main storyline right now features Rich E. Platinum and Jewel. Over the last month or so there has been something wrong with Jewel (she has been in the woman's lockeroom with the other woman and run off to be sick and even fainted at ringside during one of Platinum's matches) with the couple having to field questions that Jewel may be pregnant. At this PPV, Jewel confirms the rumours, she is pregnant but drops the bombshell that Rich E. is not the father. When questioned backstage Platinum does not want to answer any questions on that subject as he has a title match to focus on. After his run in with Platinum and Money Inc. at the last PPV, JC Grunge is the challenger for the title at this PPV. Towards the end of the match, a visibly upset Jewel comes out to ringside which distracts Platinum long enough for Grunge to hit "the fall of man" but Platinum kicks out at 2 3/4, Jewel then gets on the ring apron which distracts Grunge and Platinum hits "The Paycheque" for the three count. The show goes off air with Platinum and Jewel arguing. </p><p> The backstory to this storyline was when playing TEW 2013 I downloaded a real world mod that had an angle called "Valet doesn't know parentage of child" which at the time I thought would be quite cool to use (I was thinking Stephanie & HHH as the couple) though the save didn't last long enough to use the angle, so at the start of this game I was looking at the roster and what I might do with people, turns, stables etc (I had early plans to turn Washington and Boardman which I did) and I thought Patriarch and Christian would probably always remain faces and that left Platinum and Flawless, to freshen things up how would I turn them if at all and then I remembered this angle and thought it would be a perfect way to turn Rich E. Platinum face, then in-game Platinum and Jewel divorced and it just seemed like destiny to use the storyline. Obviously the next step in the storyline is to reveal the actual father and what the consequences for him and Platinum are.</p><p> </p><p> The next big fallout from the PPV is Lawrence Christian winning the six man chamber match and becoming the number one contender for the World title at "Showcase of the Immortals" in May. A number of the participants have had issues with each other over the course of the year which added some spice to the match and may lead to some new feuds going into "Showcase of the Immortals."</p><p> </p><p> In a continuation of their conflicts Oblivion and Hulkenberg faced Exodus and Lennox Fury in a tag team match. The match ended in a no contest when Oblivion and Exodus choke slammed their partners mid way through the match. With no reaction at all the pair head up the ramp together the only sound is the maniacal laugh of Saint Lazarus. My thinking here was that after losing to Platinum last month and he was beaten by Big Ron in a qualification match to gain entry into this months six man chamber match, Saint Lazarus got in Exodus' ear and convinced him that rejoining him and Oblivion would return him to winning ways. Will the destructive combination of Saint's Demons lead the men back to former glories?</p><p> </p><p> Philip Adorn defeated Maxwell Rogers in a qualification match to enter the six man chamber match. After the match Rogers continued attacking Adorn until Justin Roxdale made the save. Rogers then interfered in Roxdale's qualification match with Mr. Flawless costing him the match and entry into the chamber match. That setup the title match at this PPV and the pair have great chemistry hence the match rating and a continuing feud over the title in the coming months.</p><p> </p><p> Marco Keylong's contract has come up for renewal during the course of this month but he does not want to renew his contract as he is extremely unhappy (feels isolated backstage - although he only has negative relationships with two people) and he will be leaving the company. In the meantime he will be jobbing before he leaves hence the defeat to Kyle Barker at the PPV. </p><p> </p><p> I bit the bullet and started my own network. It is a commercial network, with coverage in every region. This PPV had 12m viewers on the network compared to 500,000 buys on PPV last month not quite sure how that works out financially but it did increase our popularity in 45 regions. So both television shows, our monthly shows and a CPWE show are all broadcast on the network.</p>
  5. Here are the results for February 2016's PPV "To Hell We March" http://i.imgur.com/VEWqjx1.jpg?1 I am happy with the grade of the PPV. I changed up some of the pairings for this PPV to give a little bit of a fresher feel as a number of the same matches seem to have taken place over the last few PPVs. For that I wanted a different challenger for Rich E. Platinum's World Title. As the PPV was named "To Hell We March" I thought Exodus would be a perfect choice and he won a triple threat match against Flawless and Christian on an episode of Monday Night Superstars to be the next challenger. Platinum won the match with a distraction from Big Ron and the pair continued the attack after the match until JC Grunge made the save. The wheels are spinning a little bit at the top of the card as I have planted the seeds of a big storyline for Rich E. Platinum that won't really spring into life for another month or two. With Danny Washington interjecting himself into Lawrence Christian's business the last couple of months on behalf of Rich E. Platinum, Christian requested a match with Danny Washington at this PPV, managing to get a modicum of revenge by defeating him. Disappointingly, the pair don't have very good chemistry together. Maxwell Rogers has been very vocal how great a champion he is and that he wants to be a fighting champion and that ruffled a number of feathers hence the fourway match at the PPV. With the point I made earlier about same matches each month it may be time for Rogers to move on from Adorn and have a new challenger to his title. With Exodus otherwise engaged, Hulkenberg faced Lennox Fury and Oblivion took on an old foe in Bobby Justice. Thing's for St. Lazarus' camp are still far from rosy with Oblivion only winning with assistance from Hulkenberg and Hulkenberg himself losing to Lennox Fury. Lazarus has been feeling the strain hence his berating of Hulkenberg after the match. To make matters worse Patriarch, who Oblivion storyline injured is close to a return and is hunting down Oblivion. Patriarch is set to finish filming his movie in about a months time and will be a welcome return to the roster. His 100 rated popularity in USA & Canada will also be a huge boost. Having beaten Mr. Flawless once Chocolate Daddy begged Mr. Flawless for another match to prove that he could do it again. Mr. Flawless didn't see the point as he had already beaten Daddy on a number of occasions but he relented and the two had this match at the PPV. This will be the last match between the two but where does Chocolate Daddy go from here, back to the tag team division or onto bigger and better things as a solo star? My television contracts are set to expire soon but instead of renewing them I have been toying with the idea of creating my own network. With $80m in the bank the creation of a network would certainly be viable. I thought about creating a network in a USPW save but never pulled the trigger so I am not really sure of the benefits but it is something to think about. Next month is "Road To Immortality" which will feature the six man elimination chamber type match to determine the challenger for the World Title at "Showcase of the Immortals."
  6. <p>First PPV on the new year "Explosion 2016"</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/p5hDJf4.jpg?2</span></p><p> </p><p> A great PPV to start the year off with. After losing his World Title to Rich E. Platinum, Lawrence Christian invoked his rematch straight away and got a rematch at this PPV. Platinum again won the match with the aid of Danny Washington. The pair of Washington & Platinum have become as thick as thieves with Washington offering to take on one of the thorn's in Platinum's side in JC Grunge who he defeated with the aid of Platinum's bodyguard Big Ron. To return the favour Washington helped Platinum distract Lawrence Christian long enough to get the win. Will Lawrence Christian get another shot at the title and how will he neutralise the threat of Washington?</p><p> </p><p> Philip Adorn has had the upper hand in their feud but Maxwell Rogers managed to get the win and the title at this PPV following in his father's footsteps decades earlier and this feud based on a historical feud by their fathers will continue.</p><p> </p><p> Saint Lazarus has had a difficult month with his clients really trying to get in the head of Oblivion this month and get him to snap out of his funk and it had worked slightly with Oblivion beating Lennox Fury. Lazarus has been angry with Hulkenberg following his defeat to nemesis Exodus last month and had told him not to lose to him at this PPV so where will a defeat again this month leave Hulkenberg?</p><p> </p><p> Having constantly stated that he is Flawless a defeat against Chocolate Daddy last month did not sit well with Flawless and he wanted to face Chocolate Daddy again this month to avenge that defeat. With a Flawless win where does that leave the feud between the two?</p><p> </p><p> Joey Cash has been up to his old tricks again of spreading rumours backstage this time against Major Awesome. This dropped the backstage rating down to 61%. I took the drastic action of firing Major Awesome as he was also a bit of a pain in the arse backstage himself anyway. As he was also unhappy Sergeant Extreme asked for his release a week later so Armed Forces of Badass are no more. I do have a few younger face teams that I would like to use more anyway in The Williams Brothers, English Lions (Roger Barton & Jason Williams) and The Pitbulls (Lewis Elm & Mike Elwood) so it's not the end of the world losing AFOB.</p>
  7. <p>Following on from yesterday's end of year stuff, my top ten matches of the year. I think it's clear to see why Rich E. Platinum was wrestler of the year:</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/Wsh8hKQ.jpg?1</span></p>
  8. Here are the results for the final PPV of the year "Winter Brawl" http://i.imgur.com/ObqWOG9.jpg?1 A really great way to finish the year, a PPV with three A* rated matches. The year ends with Rich E. Platinum winning the World Title thus ending Lawrence Christian's six month title reign. The match was won with the aid of Danny Washington. Over the year, Platinum has had the backup of Money Inc. but he has also had the support of a number of close allies, Derek Boardman, Richard Sutherland, Oblivion and Mr. Flawless, but with his alliance with Mr. Flawless breaking down, Platinum has become very pally with Danny Washington. I am sure that Lawrence Christian will be looking for a title rematch as well as gaining a measure of revenge on Danny Washington also. After winning the right to face Hollywood Monroe for the Cruiserweight title last month, the match was held at this PPV with Hollywood winning the match. He is looking an unbeatable champion at this point having defeated a number of different challengers recently. With Chocolate Daddy having his hands full with Mr. Flawless, Vanilla Thunder has scoured the wrestling world for a tag team partner to win back the tag titles stolen from PWF by The Millionaire's Club. Vanilla Thunder and his new partner challenged The Millionaire's Club at the PPV. That new partner is Cornbread Grits Jnr. and the team will be known as Packed With Added Flavour. Although they came up short on this occasion they seem to work extremely well as a team. On a side note Davey Dollar has picked up a herniated disc which he will be working through the pain for a year. The injury is seriously pampering his performances. The rot continues to set in with Oblivion. Lennox Fury was extremely dominate in this match and Oblivion won with interference from Saint Lazarus. A completely disenchanted Oblivion then just walks back up the ramp after the match. So that's the first year complete. I have heavily relied on Flawless, Christian and Platinum this year but they are such awesome workers. I hope to next year really push the likes of Roxdale, Adorn and Rogers, I don't know if they would get a World title reign but I hope to really push people like that. I have a couple of big storyline ideas for the upcoming year which could take the company in a different direction. With the end of the year comes end of year awards: Wrestler of the Year - Rich E. Platinum Tag Team of the Year - Giant Sequoia & Monster Young Wrestler of the Year - Makoto Masayoshi Veteran Wrestler of the Year - Takashi Ogiwara Female Wrestler of the Year - Linzie Adorn Indie Wrestler of the Year - Fantasma Company of the Year - AWF Most Improved Company - CPWE Match of the Year - Lawrence Christian Vs. Rich E. Platinum (Showdown 2015) Card of the Year - AWF Showdown 2015 Manager of the Year - The Preacher Announcer of the Year - Howard Oakland Commentator of the Year - Daniel Harding Referee of the Year - Alan Resley Snr.
  9. <p>November is now complete and here is the results for "War Is Now" PPV</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/bDtWDzv.jpg?1</span></p><p> </p><p> For a show made up of mainly 5 vs 5 elimination matches I think the show went very well.</p><p> </p><p> The Main Event centres around Money Inc. against their various enemies over the last couple of months. The fifth member of Money Inc. is Morgan Money (former Money Malone in CWE) who was signed a couple of months ago. He has come into the promotion as the son of a wealthy Australian billionaire. Rich E. Platinum has welcomed him into Money Inc. in the hopes of expanding his business interests in Australia through Money's father. The opposition are lead by Lawrence Christian, who has had problems with Platinum as has teammate JC Grunge, Packed With Flavour who have feuded with Millionaire's Club and the surprise fifth member is Mr. Flawless. Despite being reasonably friendly with Platinum and sometimes teaming with him, their relationship over the last month has cooled and Flawless asked Christian to join the team. This was met with displeasure from PWF who Flawless caused to lose their tag team titles to the Millionaire's Club last month and led to some dissention in the team. Despite this dissention they still managed to pick up the win although grievances between the teams don't seem to have been resolved with this match.</p><p> </p><p> After returning at last month's PPV, Oblivion's strange behaviour has continued during the course of this month. Despite obviously wanting revenge against Exodus, Oblivion would freak out when in the presence of Exodus. Team Oblivion and Team Exodus was set up for the PPV, Saint Lazarus went about filling the team with big monsters Hulkenberg, Bulldozer Brannigan, the recently debuting Destruction and Keoni. Exodus did similar with his team made up of Bobby Justice, Lennox Fury, Sherman Tank and Grayson Royce. During the match Oblivion was very out of sought, being thrown around the ring by Lennox Fury and avoiding Exodus everytime he was tagged into the match. Despite this Oblivion was a survivor with Hulkenberg although it was Hulkenberg that eliminated Exodus. Oblivion and Exodus will continue to be in each others orbit but will not face each other after events here Hulkenberg and Lennox Fury will be their opponents for a little while.</p><p> </p><p> This years main protagonists for the television title battled in another of the elimination matches. With Philip Adorn being one of the survivors and getting another one over Maxwell Rogers, how will Rogers react?</p><p> </p><p> We also had a cruiserweight competitors elimination match with a member of the winning team having the chance to be named number one contender. As Ollie Midnight was the sole survivor in the match he automatically became number one contender and will face Hollywood Monroe for the title at next months PPV.</p><p> </p><p> Unfortunately chat on this thread has seemed to of died right done but I will continue to post updates and hope that people find it of interest as I am still really enjoying this mod.</p>
  10. http://i.imgur.com/xMwSUKG.jpg?1 My highest rated card ever booking in TEW 2016. I am playing as AWF in the Londonverse mod. I highly recommend checking out the mod if you haven't seen or heard of it before.
  11. <p>Have just got through October 2016. Here are the results for the October PPV "Justice"</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/RVopGom.jpg?1</span></p><p> </p><p> Another fantastic PPV to follow up the previous months PPV. The top two storylines had intertwined over the last month which led to the Main Event fatal fourway match.</p><p> </p><p> After disposing of Oblivion in an inferno match a couple of months ago, Exodus has had his hands full with Oblivion's stablemate Hulkenburg. After their match this month, Oblivion returns. After getting on the ring apron Oblivion locks eyes with Exodus and goes into a trance like state, before getting back down from the apron and heading back up the ramp. In the storyline Oblivion is getting flashbacks to being set on fire which has caused him to lose his edge slightly, can he get that killer instinct back?</p><p> </p><p> Since his debut a couple of months ago, Philip Adorn along with other wrestlers had been very welcoming of Maxwell Rogers. There had been shows of respect between the two, tinged with a touch of antagonism from Rogers (ala AJ Styles debut in the WWE with Chris Jericho.) Maxwell, who has been focused on competition and being the best had set his sights on winning the Television title. The feud then started to centre around the legacy of the two families and their fathers feuds for the CWE World Title in the late 80's. With them cutting promos on whose family is the best and Rogers saying he would take the title from Adorn like his father did back in the day. </p><p> </p><p> In the continuation of Chocolate Daddy and Mr. Flawless' feud during a tag title match between PWF and the Millionaire's Club on Monday Night Superstars, Mr. Flawless interfered and cost PWF the tag team titles. This match at the PPV was a rematch for the titles. PWF won by disqualification following interference by Big Ron on Millionaire's Club behalf allowing them to retain the titles. Chocolate Daddy will look for revenge on Mr. Flawless for costing him his tag titles.</p><p> </p><p> Daniel Harding has now retired. Blossom Woods has replaced him on the PPV and Monday Night Superstars commentary teams and Leonard Netter has taken over from Woods on Thursday Night Titans.</p><p> </p><p> I have decided that next months PPV will feature mainly Survivor Series style 5 v 5 elimination matches.</p>
  12. <p>Just run the September PPV "Showdown"</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/xMwSUKG.jpg?1</span></p><p> </p><p> This is my highest rated show ever playing TEW 2016. Obviously, helped by the amazing Main Event and the great Chocolate Daddy/Mr. Flawless match. The show has seen our popularity jump to B+/86 in a number of US regions.</p><p> </p><p> The JC Grunge/Rich E. Platinum feud is still ongoing. Grunge's match with Big Ron was a little side feud this month as Big Ron had interfered in Grunge's matches on a few occasions. The pair will resume their feud again over the next few months.</p><p> </p><p> With Oblivion still missing after last months PPV, Exodus faced Oblivion's stable mate, Hulkenburg. Exodus picked up the win after a frustrated Hulkenburg got himself disqualified. Oblivion will return to the promotion at some point, but when and where and in what capacity?</p><p> </p><p> After a less than auspicious debut last month, Maxwell Rogers has been welcomed into the promotion by heels and faces alike. The way I am playing Rogers character is that he just wants to compete. It doesn't matter who it's against he just wants to compete and prove that he is the best. So, at this PPV he faces XYK, who has been extremely welcoming to Rogers and after the match there is even a handshake between the pair.</p><p> </p><p> The Sweet Factory has finally imploded. After winning the Cruiserweight title Hollywood Monroe continued to taunt Leroy Synde that he did what Synde couldn't do and defeat XYK for the title. Synde retorted that he was a real Hollywood star and Monroe was just a fake one. A brawl ensued and Leroy Synde walked out on the Sweet Factory and turned face in the process. Hollywood Monroe won this match with the aid of his tag partner Pimp Master T.</p><p> </p><p> Chocolate Daddy's progression into a singles star continues. His problems with Mr. Flawless, stemming from their semi-final in the King of the Ring tournament resurfaced and resulted in this great match at the PPV. Chocolate Daddy is currently at A/90 overness throughout the USA so he has definitely outgrown the tag division. Although, what does this mean for Packed With Flavour as they are still the current tag team champions?</p><p> </p><p> Daniel Harding announced his retirement from wrestling a couple of weeks ago and will have retired by the time of the next PPV. So, there will need to be some decisions made regarding the commentary teams. Blossom Woods has been working as colour commentator on the Thursday night B show so I may move her onto the PPV's and Monday night show and then promote one of the commentators in development to the B show.</p>
  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="LoNdOn" data-cite="LoNdOn" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42042" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The job now will be to have a reason to keep Oblivion and Exodus away from each other when they go on to their next feuds as I always got the sense that they are the types to continue going for the other in an Owens/Zayn (with less flashy moves) type of mentality.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> To continue the storyline of Oblivion vanishing at the end of "Summer Spectacular", Oblivion will sit out the September PPV, Exodus has an obvious opponent in Hulkenburg but what I do with the pair after that is something to think about. </p><p> I have been booking them as Kane and The Undertaker. At some point turning one of them and having them team up may be the way to go.</p>
  14. Just ran the AWF's major summer PPV "Summer Spectacular" http://i.imgur.com/CsX2Wkj.jpg?1 Really happy with this show. Every match bar the tag title match delivered in the ring. Especially surprised by the Hulkenburg/Justice match as Bobby Justice is hampered by knee tendonitis (year long injury), neither are hugely over and the match was penalised for poor psychology. The two wrestlers stolen from CWE were Maxwell Rogers and JC Grunge. This was Rogers debut in the promotion. Slightly, low key debut. The idea of sitting in the crowd was an idea taken from NXT where Bobby Roode and Kota Ibushi have been seen sitting in the crowd at Takeover events. Rogers will make more of an impact in the next few weeks though. JC Grunge on the other hand made a huge impact on his debut interrupting a promo by Rich E. Platinum. Grunge's persona will be a little devil may care attitude. He does what he wants, when he wants. Slightly put out by Grunge's interruption, Platinum has said Grunge lacks the class to be in the same ring as him (he looks like a hobo who just walked in off the street). Platinum has used the rest of Money Inc. to avoid JC Grunge much in the same way as he did to avoid Lawrence Christian in the first half of the year. JC Grunge hit back in promos that he was used to fighting real men not men who hide behind women, corrupt authority figures and have their bodyguards do their dirty work. This taunted Platinum into proposing a match at "Summer Spectacular." Platinum won the match with assistance from Big Ron Johnson. Where the Grunge/Platinum feud is just starting I feel the Oblivion/Exodus feud has been concluded at this PPV. After Oblivion threw a fireball in his face a few months prior and attacked other people in the same way, Exodus returned with a few fiery tricks of his own. This resulted in the feud being settled in an inferno match at this PPV. With Oblivion vanishing at the end of the PPV he will be off television for some time before returning. I am sure that there paths will cross in the future but this feud has for the most part concluded. I think that the Bulldozer Brannigan and Lennox Fury storyline has run its course as well. The match was a 30 minute ultimate submission match. Lennox Fury has really progressed in his time in the promotion and it may be time to put him in a feud with someone of a higher level. I have a lot of Upper Midcarders/Low level Main Eventers knocking about (Washington, Roxdale, Keylong, Boardman, Barker etc.) that finding a spot for them all on PPV's and in storylines is becoming tricky especially with the additions of Maxwell Rogers and JC Grunge. Nice problem to have, but still a problem none the less. Patriarch has now left to start filming a movie. He will be away for eight months. His popularity immediately jumped to 100 across USA and Canada. It has started to fall to 99 in a couple of areas already thogh. In storyline terms the fireball that Oblivion threw in his face has caused damage to his eye. Doctors will not let him wrestle with sight in only one eye. When he returns I am sure he will look to extract revenge from Oblivion. I see the November PPV "War Is Now" as the next big PPV in the calendar and sets me a marker to aim for storyline wise. Storylines that are currently running will continue as normal but I see that as an event that things will either culminate at or events in the next couple of months will setup towards this PPV. I may even use it as a Survivor Series type event.
  15. <p>Just ran the July PPV "Battleground"</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/XREPxRP.jpg?1</span></p><p> </p><p> The PPV kicked off with the two semi-final matches for the King of the Ring tournament. The tournament culminated with Mr. Flawless being crowned The King of the Ring. It took Mr. Flawless to take a shortcut to defeat Chocolate Daddy in the semi-final and this will kickstart Chocolate Daddy's singles push. The split will be amicable and Vanilla Thunder will get a new tag team partner, the three men will form a part of a three man group just with Chocolate Daddy mainly doing his own thing.</p><p> </p><p> Patriarch is Oblivion's latest fireball victim and this will lead to a Patriarch injury storyline that will write him off television while he is away making a movie. This leaves Bobby Justice solo in the fight against Oblivion & Hulkenburg, although Exodus will return to the fray soon looking for revenge.</p><p> </p><p> Hollywood Monroe begins his first reign as Cruiserweight champion. He has been extremely impressive over the last few months and his title win shakes up that division and the storylines within the division. The implosion of the Sweet Factory will be the main storyline focus but XYK will remain in the hunt.</p><p> </p><p> The next PPV "Summer Spectacular" is our third largest PPV of the year, equivalent to SummerSlam for the WWE, so will need big matches to fill the card.</p><p> </p><p> I have stolen away a couple of Main Event level talents from CWE, who will debut in the promotion over the next month.</p>
  16. <p>Results of June PPV "Heatwave"</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/F985Glf.jpg?1</span></p><p> </p><p> We are now in the sixth reign of Lawrence Christian and Rich E. Platinum one a three way match to be the challenger for this PPV. Rich E. Platinum and Mr. Flawless will continue to be the two main challengers over the next couple of months.</p><p> Oblivion has been slowly unravelling over the last month or so. Throwing fireballs at opponents will become his thing over the next month. Exodus has been working through an injury so I decided to write him out of TV for a month to recover hence the powerbombing off the stage. Hulkenburg and been signed by the promotion and is managed by Saint Lazarus, so he will be involved in this storyline as well.</p><p> Derek Boardman had been cutting a promo that he had been administering justice within the promotion through legal practices. After a couple of weeks of these promos, Bobby Justice took issue saying what Boardman delivers is not justice. After a match between Danny Washington & Bobby Justice, Derek Boardman came out attacking Justice and the two heels continued the attack until Patriarch cam out and made the save. The two faces in a promo the following week said they stood for "Truth, Justice and the American Way" and formed the American Justice Society vowing to watch each others backs and administer justice in the promotion when needed.</p><p> Hollywood Monroe has been taking shots at Leroy Snyde for keep coming up short in his feud with XYK. The pair both talked themselves into a triple threat match with XYK for the cruiserweight title. Leroy Snyde was again pinned by XYK, so Hollywood Monroe will have something to say about that and tension will continue to mount in the Bobby Sweet led stable.</p><p> The month of July will feature a sixteen man King of The Ring style tournament where the July PPV will feature the culmination of that tournament with a new King of the Ring crowned.</p>
  17. I agree, an A rated show is nothing to sneer at and I was pleased with the show. The reason for the slight disappointment was that in nearly two and a half years of gameplay in my USPW game I had not gotten an A* rated card and I thought that the main event of "Showcase of the Immortals" may have pushed the show towards that. Turns out that three weeks later on the Monday night show the Main Event of Lawrence Christian and Oblivion scored 100 and the card got an A*/96 rating. Then the following week my Main Event of Oblivion & Platinum against Exodus & Christian got 100 and another A*/96 rated show. It seems like A* shows are like London buses, wait long enough and two come along together. I wholeheartedly agree with Devin's comments. I have not played the Cornellverse or any other mods since downloading the Londonverse as I am having far to much fun playing this mod. I will be at work and think of storylines or matches that I could book. Then I get home and have forgotten the idea, I now have a notebook that I write ideas down in (very sad, I know). I look forward to the European expansion and any other developments and would certainly be keen on a retro Londonverse if that idea ever came to fruition.
  18. The AWF's Granddaddy of them all "Showcase of the Immortals" results. http://i.imgur.com/CZ37QNT.jpg?3 A good show grade but for the company's biggest show of the year I was hoping for a little bit better. Only the Main Event and Oblivion/Exodus really delivered in the ring and at the moment the wrestling is being overshadowed by the angles. A number of matches were penalised for poor psychology so I may have to try and improve that. Lennox Fury is a repackaged Alpha Male, he may be the man to stop Bulldozer Brannigan's winning streak. Patriarch has announced that he is going to be off filming a movie in three months so I am going to have to think of a way to write him out of the promotion. Finally, in sad news Jackie London passed away this month.
  19. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="LoNdOn" data-cite="LoNdOn" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42042" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Only a 90?!!?! Your standards are slipping <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> Not a bad PPV at all considering it is somewhat of a transitional event as you said. I like the way you are using the main event scene and your tag division, but would you care to divulge more on your midcard feuds? I enjoy reading your lengthy posts/updates.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The Exodus/Platinum match grade was hampered as they are not in a storyline together so I was surprised that the match graded as high as it did, there was a penalty for having no relevant storyline attached. The Flawless/Christian match was hampered by Mr. Flawless low morale which is becoming a bit of a problem because I have tried everything to try and improve but nothing seems to work. So still getting an A was quite pleasing.</p><p> In terms of midcard feuds the tag team title feud is the main one. The Millionaire's Club vs Packed With Flavour has continued since the start of the game now with the titles at the heart of the feud and as soon as Hollywood Monroe returns from injury, A-List Pimping will return and try and regain their titles. I have added a couple of tag teams to bolster the division as my future plans mean a couple of tag teams may split up. Fergal & Cormac O'Reilly have been brought in as The Irish Curse and I have signed Brady Danielson and have teamed him with Mike Elwood as The Maple Leaf Mafia. I see them as a sort of American Alpha-esque team. With Danielson as Chad Gable a great technical wrestler and Elwood as Jason Jordan suplexing people all over the ring.</p><p> The cruiserweight feud between Leroy Snyde & XYK I feel has run it's course. Ben Logan was added to the last match as he had been taunted by Leroy Snyde. Unfortunately, XYK is head and shoulders above everyone in the division so it feels hard to create feuds for him. I have signed Abraham Sound who is coming in as a heel and there is always Hollywood Monroe who could be used as opponents for him.</p><p> The Televison title feud three continue to feud over that tile in various situations. Justin Roxdale has found his way into this feud as well. Keylong asked for his title rematch which was granted but Derek Boardman would get the first shot. Keylong faced Roxdale in a match which Roxdale won, Boardman taunted Keylong for losing the match then promptly lost to Roxdale as well. Boardman attacked Roxdale after the match until Adorn made the save. The four faced each other in a tag match and then there was the two singles matches at "Mind Games" and they will face each other in a fatal fourway at "Showcase of the Immortals".</p><p> Bulldozer Brannigan's hard man challenge continues where he has started to make people submit. The match against Kyle Barker at "Mind Games" was a submission match. Years ago, I'm sure Ken Shamrock faced somone in a steel cell match (almost a small MMA cage match) and that is what their match at "Showcase of the Immortals" is going to be. Grayson Royce has continued to be involved in the storyline as well as Samoan Studd who has been renamed Keoni (Samoan for Righteous Warrior) managed by Bobby Sweet. They have faced each other in a tag match and various singles matches.</p><p> Then there are a few smaller mini storylines that mainly feature on Thursday's B show. The Lucian von Flue painting storyline continues although he has yet to have somone really to feud with and Hugo Suave and Carlos Nathans (who has the Suave gimmick) feuding over who is the most suave, trying to flirt with Blossom Woods and things like that. Then we have Cory Dex creating and selling different concoctions. Selling a super strength potion to Floyd Hart who had a match with Sherman Tank. Then when he went to slam Sherman Tank during the match because he had super strength, Sherman fell on top of him and pinned him. In the real world I think Cory Dex would be the sort of character that ends up turning face like the Damien Sandow stuntman character.</p><p> I wasn't planning on writing such a long post but hope you find it interesting.</p>
  20. <p>Results from the April PPV "Mind Games"</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/L1byQF6.jpg?1</span></p><p> </p><p> Quite happy with the PPV it was a bit of a placeholder PPV before "Showcase of the Immortals" next month.</p><p> After being attacked by Oblivion at last months PPV, Lawrence Christian had requested a match with Oblivion, signing a contract to face him at this PPV. The beatdowns by Oblivion and Money Inc. continued prompting an appearance from the seldom seen Adam Sutherland who said this must end and Lawrence Christian would face Mr. Flawless in a match and if he won he would be added to the Main Event of "Showcase of the Immortals". Richard Sutherland said that's fine he would face him at "Mind Games" but as he had already signed a contract to face Oblivion he would have to wrestle in two matches at the PPV. This seemed to fit in with the mind games theme of the PPV. Winning the match against Mr. Flawless after botched interference from Rich E. Platinum has now made the Main Event at "Showcase of the Immortals" a triple threat match.</p><p> Exodus got involved in things with Platinum & Oblivion saving Lawrence Christian and he became the next opponent for Rich E. Platinum on that basis. Danny Washington won with underhanded tactics so Patriarch will be looking to get another shot at him.</p><p> Should be an interesting month before "Showcase of the Immortals."</p>
  21. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="LoNdOn" data-cite="LoNdOn" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42042" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Very nice show again. Obviously relying on the star power of the main eventers in a promotion such as AWF is going to be crucial, however, the real test will come when they have to take a backseat. They are not the youngest crop of individuals and you will do well to keep an eye on their full-time replacements down the road.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I agree, with the majority of Main Eventers in their late thirties, early forties (Exodus and Lawrence Christian are already on time decline list) pushing new talents into the Main Event scene is a priority. I will continue to use the current Main Eventers throughout this first year in prominent positions but will definitely try and bring through the likes of Roxdale, Adorn and Washington as well. XYK and Hollywood Monroe are two guys who have been impressing. XYK has produced a few B+ promos. If he could develop that along with his already great wrestling ability he would be a great addition to the Main Event scene even allowing for his size and contracts are starting to expire who knows who I might be able to steal from other promotions.</p>
  22. Have just finished the March PPV "Road To Immortality": http://i.imgur.com/4csSC4k.jpg?1 Another really good PPV. Patriarch and Rich E. Platinum produced another amazing match which had me worried the Main Event wouldn't deliver especially with Keylong, Exodus and Oblivion in the match but thankfully it did. I was really pleased with the grades of the other title matches as well. This month has seen Rich E. Platinum and Jewel get divorced and I have signed Hugo Suave and Kyle Barker. Kyle Barker seemed a good fit for Bulldozer Brannigan's tough man challenge so I signed him on a PPA contract. Hollywood Monroe suffered an Open Tibia fracture and is out for a couple of months so I stripped A-List Pimping of the tag team titles. The match at the PPV was going to be a three team match but became a straight tag team match for the vacant titles with PWF winning the belts. A-List Pimping will come straight back into contention when Hollywood Monroe is fit again. Danny Washington has turned on Patriarch. Washington has been very frustrated with things over the last few months and Patriarch has been telling him don't worry he will get his opportunity well Danny Washington has taken that opportunity at the expense of Patriarch. Washington isn't suited to playing a heel so we will see how that goes although his new turncoat gimmick is rated at above average. The Main Event - As Big Ron has not got the job done keeping Lawrence Christian out of the title picture, Rich E. Platinum paid Oblivion to take him out before the match meaning the Main Event became a five way singles match not a six man match. With Mr. Flawless winning the match this sets up the Main Event for Showcase of the Immortals - Mr. Flawless Vs. Rich E. Platinum. Or does it? All these twists and turns surrounding the Main Event here allows me to run some different matches at the next PPV with a new challenger to Rich E. Platinum before we hit Showcase of the Immortals in May.

The Main Event I have planned for the show should mean the show does alright.</p>
  24. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="LoNdOn" data-cite="LoNdOn" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42042" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> </p><p> Damn dude. Your grades for promos are brilliant. Do you ever run bad shows with AWF because it is do-able, I have seen it and done it myself!</p><p> </p><p> I like the Bobby Sweet storyline you have on the go, it sounds like it could spice up the tag team division as well in the long term.</p><p> </p><p> Ah, you changed the Royal Rumble-esque match? Damn. At least your cage match idea is pretty decent.</p><p> </p><p> Keep me updated. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I use the "B" show on Thursday to try and develop workers and use people that aren't featuring much on the Monday night show so the ratings for that show aren't always that great but for the Monday Night Superstars I have mainly graded at high B+ with a few A shows. The lowest show was a B/83. The Main Event was Oblivion vs Patriarch which was a bit of a gamble ratings wise but made sense storyline wise so I went with it. I found with my USPW save in the Cornellverse that once you get on a roll with good show grades and high momentum for workers everyone's performance level seems to rise as I regularly had people like Trent Shafer and Zimmy Bumfhole getting A rated segments for promos. That's why I have made the most of Mr. Flawless and Ritchie E. Platinum from the start, get good show grades and other people's performance levels start to go up, like Hollywood Monroe.</p><p> The addition of Bobby Sweet should give the tag team scene a bit of spicing up in the short term. Chocolate Daddy is number 5 on my Franchise Players list and I really had been thinking about pushing him as a singles star. I was thinking of having a King of the Ring style tournament where Chocolate Daddy gets to the semi finals and is cheated out of a place in the final, he then starts a feud with the man that cheated him out of a place in the final and that would be how his singles push starts. Although breaking up PWF would weaken the tag team division certainly on the babyface side. Unless I could find Vanilla Thunder a suitable new tag partner.</p><p> I wanted to change the name to Road to Immortality because it was leading upto the Show of the Immortals and seemed to fit better. It wasn't until I went in to edit the name that I saw that the show was meant to feature a Battle Royal and by that point I had already had the idea of the six man cage match and my plans for future PPV's and TV shows centered around what will happen in the cage match.</p><p> I certainly will keep you updated with happenings from the save.</p>
  25. <p>Finally got around to booking February's PPV "To Hell We March"</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/fI2XecA.jpg?1</span></p><p> </p><p> Really pleased with the show. The Main Event and Big Ron/Christian match were well above what I was expecting but was a little bit disappointed with the tag title grade. Not surprised by the Oblivion/Exodus match as both are lacking in selling and psychology skills.</p><p> </p><p> Heading into March, CWE have already dropped to cult and there has been a news story stating that they are in crisis as are MDL. Neither have yet started firing workers.</p><p> My TV contracts expire in one months time and CBA did not want to renegotiate with me (not sure why I seem to meet their criteria). I have signed contracts for both shows with GNN Sports who are a smaller network, so we will see how that affects things.</p><p> I have released Rob Kirkham. He had been a bit of a pain in the arse backstage with a couple of incidents but he was also one of the twenty odd people that have a negative relationship with Mr. Flawless who has terribly low morale and has a note after every show saying he was unhappy at being isolated in the lockerroom. Firing someone seemed any easier way of getting rid of a negative relationship as positive meddling is not working that well. </p><p> I have renamed the March PPV "Road To Immortality." It's meant to feature a battle royal ala the Royal Rumble but I am going to decide who faces the champion at "Showcase of the Immortals" by having six men qualify for a six man steel cage match with the winner getting the title shot.</p><p> Booking wise Bulldozer Brannigan has stated that he is the toughest man in the promotion and has challenged anyone to disprove that. I think Grayson Royce probably pushed him close but Bulldozer will face another debuting tough guy at the March PPV. Bobby Sweet is now the manager of A-List Pimping having been initially turned down by Packed With Flavour. They won their match at the PPV by DQ after Millionaire's Club interfered, so Packed With Flavour will be fighting off two opponents.</p>
