  1. Playing around and started a 2014 game as ROH.

Started off with a feud between Styles and Strong (Cole dropped the belt to Styles along the way).

Here is the thing though. Styles (face) has gone from 65 pop to 63. Strong has gone from 35 pop to 61 leading into Supercard of Honor in April.

To me, this situation is just screaming double turn. Strong is a part of the Kingdom with Steen, Cole and Bennett. the Bullet Club has a presence with Gallows/Anderson (and possibly debuting Cesaro [now as Castagnoli] with them at Supercard).

Would you turn the entire Kingdom face against the Bullet Club of (Gallows, Anderson, Styles and Castagnoli)?

Just turn Strong/Styles (potentially facing off against Castagnoli as his debut feud)?

turn no one and just give a great mega-match at Supercard of Honor (afterward Cole/Strong were going to go after the tag titles).

All turns would be sudden, as I just noticed it and did no build for them.

  2. <p>I have a crazy idea of trying to make Total Divas work. I think it's a good way to get some of the other women experience and air time. </p><p> </p><p>

Currently, I have it set as a B show on E!, which would allow you to go mostly angles . But I'd still like to do some matches ... probably set up a "WWE Training" location that has 0 capacity. Then you could have a couple of practice matches to go a long with the reality show stuff in angles. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

The couple problems I've found are ... without setting "Divas" as a brand, you'll have to still manually set the show (not like the auto-booker for other B shows). Unless we could easily filter out the men to not use on the show (except for the specific few that could show up).</p><p> </p><p>

Also, if you choose to do just the Booker and not owners, Vince always blocks changing the % of wrestling. This forces you to stick with the main show % or take a hit on the show grade, which the broadcaster won't like.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

It may just be too cumbersome to keep long term ... but might be interesting to play around with.</p>

  3. With either of these alternatives, you could spend the next year trying to build Roman a bit more organically so by the time the 2016 Rumble comes around maybe he'll have more crowd support. As it is, I think Reigns vs. Lesnar is going to turn into Lesnar/Goldberg II.

    .

If allowed to grow like that, Reigns v Rollins burns down the Deathstar at Mania 32. And espeically if you built to the obligatory, yet needed, triple threat between the Sheild.

I hope that hasn't been ruined by the over anxiousness pushing of Reigns. I still think it can be adjusted to work.

  4. the ending should have worked. Reigns as the moster babyface clearing house after coming so close last year ...... it should have worked.

last year, I could totally buy it. it would have been out of no where. It would have been really early for him. But he could have held the belt till Summerslam and lost to Lesnar. this year, I don't know. Once they turned his character to a 1900s insult thrower, I lost interest.

Maybe that's what everyone is mad about?

I liked Reigns. But they changed what I liked about him.

I don't think he's bad on the mic. I think he's awkward on the mic. But you know who else is awkward on the mic? Brock Lesnar. You find a way to make it work. Even if you attach the Rock to him to help guide him to Mania and to help the talking segments with Heyman ... but building "you can do this on your own" story for him.

  5. Someone who can do it with charisma/character the new guys I see that in include Ambrose, Bray, Zayn, and to some degree Ziggler.

I think part of it is WWE's creative they bore me to the point I barely watch at all anymore. I have started to dig NXT though and I think some of them could be big my personal favorites and I can't wait until they get to WWE is Big Cass and Enzo they are great too me.

I think they missed a rocket with Reigns. They moved him away from what got him over as a part of the Shield. Don't worry about him talking.

    Monsters don't have to talk.

The one comparison that comes to mind a bit is Goldberg. Because they were both green. They both were powerhouse type, monster babyfaces. Goldberg chased Hogan. The whole story could have been him chasing Rollins. He just destroys everyone in his way. That's enough story telling without giving him terrible scripts or catch phrases.

it looks like they're still going to jump on that train, but I just don't think it'll be as high as it would have been for his first reign.

  9. I didn't see the Dusty turn coming (well, I did as soon as he came out, but it never occured to me before that.) I really liked the info we got on this show, how Dusty was trying to protect his son, etc. Not only did it answer some long-standing questions, but it made this turn feel more organic. The fact that he was still trying to look out for Dustin despite his double dealings is a nice touch, and makes him come across as an actual human being rather than a one dimensional wrestling villain.

    +1

    well put.
