  6. I tend to book my IC/US titles following a simple formula: most people can challenge for them, but only a select few get to win them. While not as exclusive as my world titles, they are pretty exclusive: if everybody can win them, what's the point? My secondary champions are usually ranked somewhere between #2 and #5 on the roster. The main differences between an IC title and a WWE title for example is that you can put IC title matches on free TV more often. They make for great TV main event matches too!

  8. Wrestlemania XXI has come and gone and nothing will ever be the same. Quick results: Jushin Thunder Liger def. Christian (60) Randy Orton def. Jerry Lawler (67) Samoa Joe def. Big Show (60) William Regal def. Shelton Benjamin © for the IC title (75) RVD & Rey Mysterio © def. The Dudleys for the WWE Tag titles (63) Edge def. Shawn Michaels (84) The Undertaker def. The Rock (76) Kurt Angle © def. AJ Styles for the US title (92) John Cena def. JBL © for the WWE title (81) Ric Flair def. Triple H © for the World Heavyweight title (99) I'm a little disappointed by a few of these matches' ratings, but I can't really complain given how the top of my card turned out. So what's next? On Raw, Randy Orton is pretty much a lock as the challenger for Flair's belt at Backlash, even though, realistically Edge deserves it more but that's going to play into the storyline. I envision Flair's reign as a dream match factory that will include, among other things, a Liger match, a match against the Rock, a match with Michaels, and maybe even Sting. And hopefully at the end of a great reign, Edge will dethrone him. William Regal is getting a big push as IC champ. He'll face Flair as well this summer. Right now he's got his hands full with Benjamin, but I'm planning a feud with Tajiri in a battle of hard hitters. I need to find someone to keep Edge busy while Flair is having his retirement reign. Maybe Chris Jericho? I have not decided next. On Smackdown, John Cena, you may have hard of him, is WWE Champion for the first time. At Backlash, he'll beat JBL in a rematch and then move on to Booker T. Smackdown is really weak on the top heel side, so a select few are going to get quite a push. I'm having a lot of fun booking Angle as my US champ. He's basically my top heel on the brand, playing a proto-Brock Lesnar. I don't want to beat him anytime soon: he did a tremendous job elevating Styles during their feud, and I'm penning him to elevate up and comers on the blue brand before dropping the strap. Speaking of fresh young faces, Samoa Joe is my big project. I want him to win the WWE title at Wrestlemania XXII so I'm extra careful when I book him. He's undefeated and I'm planning on keeping it that way.
  9. January 2005 - April 2005 Raw: World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair (first time) defeated Triple H © at Wrestlemania XXI. Intercontinental Champion William Regal (second time) defeated Shelton Benjamin © at Wrestlemania XXI. World Tag Team Champions Christian and Tomko (first time) defeated William Regal and Eugene © at the Royal Rumble to win the titles. Women's Champion Lita (second time) started the game as champion. Smackdown: WWE Champion John Cena (first time) defeated JBL © at Wrestlemania XXI. United States Champion Kurt Angle (first time) defeated John Cena © on Smackdown. WWE Tag Team Champions RVD & Rey Mysterio (first time) started the game as champions.
  10. I hope Hunter agrees to put him over at Wrestlemania, and then give him a series a dream opponents until he loses the belt for the last time: Jushin Liger, Undertaker, Sting even, Michaels... And then probably have him lose to Edge or Orton, I don't know yet.
  11. This is what is going on in my 2005 real world game. Nothing much! I just started the game, so most things are in my head, but here are the most important points: Raw Triple H is my world champion, because, well, nobody else was ready to win the vacant title. I had picked Batista to win the Royal Rumble only for him to be busted for steroid use and be suspended for a month like two weeks before the show. So! I went with Ric Flair. Will Hunter be willing to do the honors for him? Who knows? I'm knocking on wood. William Regal just turned on Eugene, as I'm ready to give him a big push as IC champion. He's going to face Shelton Benjamin at Mania and, barring injury, he'll win the title there. Christian and Tomko are tag champs, and Hurricane keeps bugging them about getting a title shot. Christian burries him every chance he gets, saying super heroes are lame and don't exist in the real world. So guess who debuts to assist Hurricane? Well, no other than JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER. He's facing Christian at Wrestlemania. Edge is getting a big push after I put him and Lita together. He's feuding with Michaels as they are 1-1 since the Rumble. Edge should win this one. Lita has literally no competition as women's champion. I'm trying to recruit female wrestlers to keep her busy but so far the results are mixed. She may have to skip Mania without challengers. The Rock and Undertaker are going to fight! I'm templating this feud based on the first Cena/Rock match and guess what? It's my hottest storyline. Undertaker doesn't loose at Wrestlemania, and Dwayne is leaving soon. Jerry Lawler has not been kind to Randy Orton on commentary lately, going so far as calling him soft and a shell of his former self. Randy is resisting his urges to kick that guy in the head and be a class act, but that's not going to last long. At Wrestlemania, the King is going to find out that you don't mess with a viper. Smackdown JBL is the WWE champion and will lose it to John Cena at Wrestlemania. Cena earned the title shot by winning this year's Elimination Chamber, let's make him a star! Angle is now managed by Heyman and is the US champion. The plan is for him to face AJ Styles for the belt, but this 2005 AJ Styles, and I don't know if he's going to be ready in a little under a month for him to win. Either way, I think AJ can afford this loss and win the belt later. Big Show is a big dude, and he's got big problems! Samoa Joe just debuted against him and his kicking his butt left and right. I am strapping a rocket to lil' Joe here and he's not gonna stop for nothing. Joe is my big project, I want him to win the WWE championship at next year's Wrestlemania. Now, the issue here is that the Big Show does not appreciate being a treated as a punching bag (both in storyline and in real life), so there's that.
  12. January 2005 - February 2005 Raw: World Heavyweight Champion Triple H (fifth time) defeated Shawn Michaels at the Royal Rumble to win the vacant title. Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin (first time) started the game as champion. World Tag Team Champions Christian and Tomko (first time) defeated William Regal and Eugene © at the Royal Rumble to win the titles. Women's Champion Lita (second time) started the game as champion. Smackdown: WWE Champion JBL (one time) started the game as champion. United States Champion Kurt Angle (first time) defeated John Cena © on Smackdown. WWE Tag Team Champions RVD & Rey Mysterio (first time) started the game as champions. Royal Rumble Ric Flair (second time)
  13. Thanks so much! I'm still not used to the road agent notes for angles!
  14. Hi guys, I have a problem that's driving me nuts: I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn people. I've set them up to turn, but when I want to pull the trigger, the 'Handle changes' box is greyed out. Is there something I'm missing?
