Two things I noticed. Apocalypse(APOC) is set as black, there was another wrestler using the Apocalypse name who was black, but the profile points the worker to being APOC Sideshow Kjell is listed as black but based on the profile pic he doesn't look like he is, though I could be wrong.

If you are a new company signing new talent, then you also have the option of when to run your first show. Go into the editor (on the main screen it is the button with two tools) In the current section drop down select starting absences. Go through those to find the one for Eric Canyon, then delete it. it may not have his name on it so you might have to open each one to figure out which is his.

I don't think Triple H and McMahon should have a simmering tension. By all accounts Triple H understood why he had to get punished and had no issues with it and McMahon had to do it to appease some of the old guard.
