I am playing as CILL with only one referee and he can do five or six matches before the penalty. He’s a good referee too.</p>
  2. <p>Can we have a user preference to disable the generic venues? I think there are often enough preset venues available to utilise and I think the restrictions on capacities available is a good thing, as well as the loss of immersion when not seeing a venue in the show recaps.</p><p> </p><p>

Not a big deal but something minor I think would be nice to have on occasion.</p>

I'm not 100% sure which patch I started this save on as I've been installing each new one but I would have guessed Patch #6.<p> </p><p> I like this save so I'm going to screenshot all of my shows & rebook them assuming I buy the game on official release. If your game started on an earlier patch then you can use the remote assistance code "beta8" in your save to correct it.</p>
  4. I loved NEO in the previous iterations so I'm a bit disappointed to see them split. In the long term I want to do some sort of purge and reunification into NEO, probably with Horri going "face" but I'm going ahead with a Horri vs. Taira title match at Burning Path for now. They've been feuding since September 2017 in canon so I could probably call this the end of the chapter and at least use it as a way to change the landscape (ie. Taira out of leadership and down the card). He's still good but his stamina is nowhere near good enough to hang in the 20+ minute main events.

I also need to find a way to get more of the juniors into existing factions. 19 of 24 on the starting roster are unaffiliated. No one close to their prime stands out to me as a "heel" that would defect though.

  5. Have touring contracts gone altogether? what does the game do now, just sign foreign talents?

So quick question, I have a Japanese company in my mod. I have their monthly events set up, but not tour dates. I have set schedule as "created tours" but it is adding a second monthly event too. Anyway to prevent that?

Basically if they're Medium or below, there's no problem because they will only be offered Handshake deals by the AI (although it's normally a year-plus deal, as you can't set the deal to expire after the next tour any more).

The major problem is when a company hits Big level and they start offering Written deals. All the classic foreign touring workers (ie. Americans working Japanese tours in between their homeland commitments, like Terry Funk) are soon swept up on massive Exclusive Written deals by the Japanese company.

It's really frustrating for someone like myself who plays Japan almost exclusively. The system in TEW2016 of Touring contracts and being able to specify the Touring regulars (eg. Terry Funk to AJPW) worked pretty perfectly so I'm stumped as to why this went away.

I take it 'No foreign workers' on its own doesn't do the same thing - I tried setting NJPW to no foreigners and leaving AJPW and the obvious happened, one didn't sign either to any sort of deal, the other was grabbing people from all over the world.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I’m glad someone else agrees. Hopefully we can get something added to stop this.</p>

Got some Hogan attributes tweaking to do and mildy settled on this, but it still lists him as a positive influence on the backstage(Him, Nash, Hall, Steiner, etc.)

Any advice on what attributes could possibly make him more negative on the backstage culture?

I wouldn’t say he is a Squash Master. He’s the Comeback Master.

Also maybe take away Wrestling in the Blood, that might stop him being positive. I truly don’t believe he has remained all these years because of his love for wrestling, it’s because he failed at acting and wrestling is his best payday.

  8. Guys who strictly like to do tours or short-spots with companies can be labelled as a Freelancer, and thus will not sign any type of long-term contract with any company.

I get that, but my main point is that - lets take a real world mod for example - AJPW never signed gaijin to full time deals, they only cycled them in for tours while working in their home country the rest of the time. But under this new system, there’s nothing to stop the AI scooping up these guys on Exclusive Written deals.

  9. <p>Ok, so Touring workers are gone. I don't agree with it, but I can live with it. An ongoing handshake contract can represent a Touring worker, although I still think we should have an option to set the expiry as "End of Next Tour" rather than actually having to fire them.</p><p> </p><p>

Anyway, my main gripe is that the disappearance of Touring workers means we no longer have the rule "No Foreign Workers (Except for Touring contracts)" and I'm sure mod makers will chime in saying this is vital for maintaining the old-style touring aspect of Japanese gaijin in the 70s and 80s, because as it stands now without this hiring rule available, the bigger companies will just pick off these guys on massive Written contracts.</p><p> </p><p>

Please can we have it back? Or something that at least maintains the status quo.</p>

  10. <p>First up, great mod! I’m loving it.</p><p> </p><p>

Is anyone having trouble breaking even with touring companies (specifically NJPW)? I ran eight tour shows plus a big event (drawing 22,000) in November and I still lost $1m (lots of expenditure in “Misc”). Am I doing something wrong? Admittedly I’ve only ran touring companies on more historical mod before but I’ve never had this problem.</p>
