  1. I'm curious how mod makers handle it when two workers use identical names, i.e. Asuka (Kana) in WWE and ASUKA (VENY) in Japan/Indies, or the Japanese AKIRA and the American AKIRA. What is the consensus on the best way to handle that?
  2. I noticed since the new update (1.40 II) that Workers and Tag Teams in a Hall of Fame get guaranteed spots just by having 1 Major Champion and 1 Epic Champion. To me, that seems like a pretty low bar, was that changed on purpose or is that a mistake?
  3. Genetic Freak: The wear and tear this worker experiences to their physical health is lower than normal, and the performance penalties related to physical health are slightly reduced. Complacent: This worker will never complain about being left off shows. Ambitious: This worker is far more likely to complain if left off shows. Originally From ____: This worker has a strong connection to their homeland and is highly likely to return there if they have no contracts or prospects in their current area. -- Would need 8 different versions of this attribute for each area, i.e. Originally From Japan, Originally From Mexico, Originally From America, etc. Settling Down: This worker will stop freelancing after retirement, content to settle into more permanent non-wrestling roles.
  4. Not sure what to call this one, but an attribute that prevents a worker from dating within the business (i.e. another worker in the database) but still allows relationship changes "outside the business" Also, I think the Natural Trainer should also greatly improve that workers chances of taking over as the owner of an existing school if a spot opens up (unless it does that already, in which case, ignore this).
  5. Countryman: This worker will move house to another region of the area they currently reside in, but will not move outside of the area. (for example, someone will move house around the USA, but will never move out of the USA)
  6. If you have an Annual Competition / Achievement title (such as a Tournament or Battle Royal), but don't attach to be held at a certain event, when will the AI hold the event? will it just be randomly held during the year sometime?
  7. Just reading through the Developer's Journal again for about the 50th time, while sitting in front of my computer like while somehow waiting both patiently and also impatiently at the same time
  8. Bumping should actually fall mostly under the Basics skill, because taking bumps is one of the bases of wrestling. When you start training, the first things they teach you are the basic fundamentals, and that always starts with bumping. Selling is more the ability to make a move or submission and the pain from it look believable and realistic, by using facial expressions, vocal sounds (like groans of pain), and the way you use your body (holding an arm at your side or limping). Bumping can factor into selling, but only a little bit, and really comes from being able to add that extra flair to your bumps, like Hennig or RVD.
  9. You will be able to do this in TEW2020. I copied and pasted this directly from the Developer's Journal. (Entry #31) Previous entries have already covered how ratings / viewership will be very important in TEW2020, and one of the new features that gels with that is the ability for companies to 'block tape' TV shows. A company can now tape up to four episodes at once. The advantage of this is that it slashes the cost of producing the show (because everything is already in place so there's no need to transport of set-up multiple times), but the disadvantage is that the further ahead a show is taped, the more its ratings are going to get reduced, therefore the company will potentially be losing out on valuable broadcast revenue.
  10. This is more of a suggestion about two already announced Attributes. In the two below, I would think the workers should not want to sign with companies that present a 'comedy' based product, as opposed to entertainment based. A lot of old school guys seem fine with sports entertainment, but they just hate most 'comedy' in wrestling. Keeps Kayfabe: The worker is outspoken about disliking 'cartoon' wrestling and will not want to sign deals with companies that present an entertainment product. Extremely Old School: The worker is a purist and will not want to sign deals with companies that present entertainment or hardcore based products.
  11. Strictly A Personality - Will only ever be pushed as a 'Personality' when that is their only active role. (To prevent certain people like JoJo, Charly Caruso, etc from being used as Authority Figures if they are added into the game)
  12. <p><strong>Extreme Lucha Libre</strong> - A grittier and more extreme style than the Classic Lucha Libre, it still has the colourful characters, but combines quality, athletic matches alongside hardcore brawling matches, and is overall far less family friendly.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Crazy Comedy Puro</strong> - A mixture of puroresu, hardcore, and comedy wrestling alongside a heavy dose of humor and wrestling parody. While quality, athletic matches are appreciated, the fun and wild comedy matches are the most notable.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Traditional Puroresu</strong> - The classic style of Japanese wrestling where match quality is crucial and the wrestling is treated as a legitimate sport. While showmanship and character work are appreciated, it is not required or necessary.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Family Friendly Indie</strong> - Taking the indie style of having fast paced, moves-heavy, high quality matches, but presented in a family friendly way that will appeal to a younger audience. Colorful characters and easy-to-follow angles are as important as the in-ring action.</p>
  13. Another one semi-inspired by the recent CM Punk "return" Never Say Never: If this worker is out of the business, there is a chance they will return at some random point. Still Has the Itch: If this worker is retired from active competition, there is a chance they will return to in-ring action at some random point.
  14. Out of Touch Booker: After reaching their relevancy age, their booking skills will slowly start to decline.
  15. This would be awesome, but I don't expect we will get out hands on even a demo of the game until at least a month before it's release. Waiting for release is tough, because the more information that kept coming out about TEW2020 has pretty much made TEW2016 less and less playable for me. I'd be overjoyed to even just get the editor for 2020 at this point.
