  1. Modify the regular matches you do like a standard '1 vs 1' match, up the risk level to the appropriate level and title it '1 vs 1 - DIASPORA Style'. The way I see it, it's a standard singles match with DIASPORA's level of intensity without having to be a Hardcore/No DQ affair. Do that with every other standard match style.
  2. Last pay-per-view and show of the year. Very unfortunate that by the beginning of this show, our backstage environment had plumetted from 88 to 70 especially when considering the rating we got. AWF Where Champion's Clash Joe Havanna, Theo Barkley, Chad Zuma & Sylvain Charles def. Patriot, Mo Fury, Ricky Fyre & LeRoy Winters (61): Throwaway match to give the A-List, Prophecy's Truth alliance a win. Caleb Adonis def. Vincent I. Parker (67): Adonis defends the television title and moves up the pop ladder. Next is Nick Hart as he slowly climbs his way to vengeance against Immortal Warrior. Silva Dolla def. Cloud James (86): Far better than I expected, throwaway feud, Dolla gets a match against Hawk next pay-per-view and James is a great guy for in-between feuds. New California Blondes def. Buff N' Studd (76): After 5 months of build up, the Blondes grab the belts. Buff N' Studd will get a rematch in January. Immortal Warrior def. Mountain Albert & Towerblock (82): Just keeping Warrior busy until Adonis's reign, this has also to do with the alliance between A-List & Prophecy's Truth though this was triple threat match, not a handicap. Garrett South def. Chaperone (73): Another keep strong note brings a South match done because **** Richards & Chaperone. Richards to come back next month for South to finally beat him cleanly? Jean-Claude Giroux & Prophecy def. Casey Skym & Core (89): Another slow burn storyline chugging on with Core getting his hands on Prophecy but not quite. Prophecy will put a few man between him and Core and won't get back in the ring until it's to face Casey Skym. Not sure if I can push this feud until Wrestlefest though. Timothy Hawk def. Cross (93): They topped their 90 rated match. Cross and Hawk put on a 30 minute clinic as Cross sacrificed his US title for a shot at the world title, something I'll make a yearly thing at Where Champions Clash. The question out of this is, what happens to the US title and do I give Cross a victory over Core to build him to an eventual win over Hawk? I want them to be my 100 rated match. AWF Where Champions Clash is the second highest buyrate this year after PWI's first PPV in August (by .10). This was also my first PPV to top a PWI PPV. Wrestler of the Year is Sebastian Curtis, no surprise, he has a 99 rated match with Martin Van Holt, 13 90 rated matches in total out of 21, 6 80s and only 2 70s. AWF won Company of the Year Scott & James Hart won tag team of the year, our tag division isn't deep enough for us to compete there. UPJ had match of the year with Juro Degachi & Kintaro Kinjo, not sure which one, they had two, both in November, both getting 99 ratings. Fall Brawl won show of the year (why not Where Champions Clash ) Horiuchi Inokuma won young wrestler of the year. Kenta Sonada won veteran of the year. Thomas Aria won commentator of the year, carrying Chaperone, Hollywood & Rhodes. We also got the referee of the year. I think Hawk will manage wrestler of the year next year if I let him keep the belt and make him an icon. -- Cool Chris caught with steroid abuse the day after, when I even reduced the medical to Low to prevent this. I've decided to suspend him. Beautiful Bryce will be on his own this next month. Garrett South is a full fledged main eventer, 70+ performance stats, 80+ pop, he's prime for a run at a bigger target. Again, can't say it enough. Loving the game, longest running file yet and I'm looking forward to reaching Battle of Los Angeles in a couple months. Just gotta fix this backstage nonsense.
  3. That's a very neat idea, I think I'll start using him as the unspeaking, unrated guy at the back of announcements. Perhaps even when Skym and Prophecy are oft arguing. Do you have Drake Richards in time decline and how are you booking Hawk? Cena like? I just started using the Hawk 'power-and-paint' render to go with his new gimmick. I'd highly recommend using Cross with Prophecy if you do bring 13TEEN & Seven, he's freaking awesome. VIP looks awesome but I ended up choosing not to push him so he essentially went from Jack Swagger top of the world mode to jobbing on most shows. Did the same with Garrett South and after several months, a win over Drake Richards finally got him in a legitimate position. How did you get Train? I thought he could only wrestle in europe, unless you took off restrictions or he's now into working elsewhere? EDIT: The switch to Music Video Library has won me my first ratings war with PWI, 5.21 to their 4.38. We're coming~! Also, Lenny Rhodes under the wing of Richards and Adonis under the wing of Hawk, lord, the future is bright. Mother of God, here I am taking the belts off Buff N' Studd cause of Marcus's hard drug habits and ****ing Cool Chris goes and gets himself got for the same thing. I really like this slow build to NCB's title reign but it also opens up other possibilities, have them lose and split and feud, have Marcus & Chris betrayed by Buff & Bryce who form an oddball tag team, among other possibilities.
  4. Dax Deekins doesn't have worthwhile stats for me to use him so he was sent away for 6 months. Casey Skym & Prophecy are currently in a power struggle of sorts, it hasn't played out as a big thing yet, just subtle stuff like Skym supporting Core's crusade to take out Prophecy and Prophecy assembling a crew of athletes to both take out Core and takeover AWF after the PWSUX invasion failed (Chad Zuma, Sylvain Charles, Jean-Claude Giroux, Mountain Albert, Cross) though Giroux & Cross aren't big members, Albert/Zuma/Charles are more prone to do the bidding. Sometimes, Prophecy will announce matches, other times Skym will. I can see my having a Skym vs. Prophecy match, a representatives match and a stable war match in the lead-up + the big pay-per-view (though I might have Core/Prophecy at the PPV instead to finish the one year build up), until then its on the slow burn.
  5. AWF Fall Brawl is here. Before that came around, Lenny Rhdoes got caught for soft drugs a second time, was Fatherly Approached, KISS caught with steroids, was suspended (next is Last Chance & Fired, he's replaceable), Marcus Studd got caught for Hard Drugs but Fatherly Approached settled him down, Claudia got into a fight with Adrienne, I suspended her too, sorry Garrett South but shes gone if she makes me rage. Caleb Adonis def. Patriot (58): Patriot came to fight for Immortal Warrior while the Warrior went to greener pastures, and could not beat Adonis (he probably hates me a great deal now, terrible morale) New California Blondes def. Mo Fury & Nick Hart (74): Heel turned the NCB so had them tide over with a win over Mo Fury & Nick Hart, they'll face Buff N' Studd next pay-per-view and perhaps grab the belts finally. Buff N' Studd def. Joe Havanna & Theo Barkley (73): Another match to tide over the champs while they possibly toss the belt to NCB next pay-per-view, solid rating too. Cross def. Cloud James (84): Cloud James debuted to give Cross a win and momentum after he lost to Core last pay-per-view, next PPV is called something something Champions so I think Cross will get a match against Timothy Hawk since they actually got a 90 rated match on a regular show. Nothing for Cloud James to do though. Garrett South def. Drake Richards (71): Horrendously disappointing match but this whole storyline/feud has been disappointing, the match did get penalized for Richards being kept strong though. Silva Dolla def. Core & Immortal Warrior (82): Had no clue who should get the win this match and settled on Silva Dolla, this was supposed to be a number one contender but I might also postpone that match till the last pay-per-view of the year for my Cross/Hawk match-up. Core & Warrior will return to Prophecy/Adonis respectively. Timothy Hawk def. Jean-Claude Giroux (92): I know the rating is great but I was really hoping for a 95+ rated match. I gave Giroux/Hawk new gimmicks (with 70 ratings), it was a ladder match (for the prestige), a pay-per-view, I had bonuses for said PPV but none of that was enough to give this match more than a 3 point boost than their previous 89 rated affair on regular tv. Very saddened by this. Cross & Hawk need to redeem us. PWI & UPJ among others churn out 90s for breakfast. Next PPV is Where Champions Clash, I passed on signing Clayton Bennett and a few others where I had no plans (didn't want a rehash of Cloud James) so right now I haven't really added anyone new. Unless they're down for dev like Iago De Brun. I'm interested in Fergus Storm, terrific wrestler but I've got no plans. Seven Brandt too. If I had a B-show he'd be perfect to headline that but TV's are rejecting it. Hopefully we can reach National? Oh we did get a bigger TV deal, ended our contract with Adrenaline to go to Music Video Library at the same time slots but hopefully bigger ratings than 3.64. We also get to grow in Canada and Britain now too. Other great news, our Fall Brawl buy rate: 1.28, PWI's Night of Mayhem: 1.34. We're getting there! Only 3 regions left for National. Just as I finished the PPV, Marcus Studd caught for Hard Drugs again, definitely losing the belts and getting buried.
  6. Looks like a cross between a ginger and orange-ish brown hair. Wouldn't call him a red head though. http://i.gyazo.com/d9f51c4eed90f657448707667e68bda6.png For those who don't know CRZY Will and wanna weigh in.
  7. Everytime I look at a PWI show they have a 90 rated match with some combination of Eli Morton or Sebastian Curtis involved, I hate them so much xD What I would suggest for Ethan Paro is to narrow down the gimmicks he can run and see if you can take a random one and just organically develop from that. Maybe a new render might help too ? I feel so reluctant jobbing Drake Richards but I don't really have anything else at this point. It'd be like Shawn Michaels jobbing him out near the end of his reign. I think what I'll do is probably have Drake Richards lose a career match or get 'injured' by Garrett South and sidelined to the commentary table to regain his pop while Chaperone subs in to feud with a more popular Garrett South. Not sure, I just really feel wrong about dropping Richards down the card. Last I tried to hire Terry Thunder he didn't want to sign up I'll try again since I've gain a bit of popularity but the fact that I'm not a National may make him reject the deal. I know I couldn't sign Ryan Doherty either because of it (though I wouldn't have gone through as his stats don't impress me).
  8. I've yet to ever book a successful squash --- The Hollywood Horror Show has come and gone (with no Johnny Hollywood in sight). The PPV was probably my best yet. Before I get to that, I got around to signing Cloud James but ****ed up his gimmick so I'm already disappointed. I need him as a face due to a drought of them. Hasn't debuted yet, only appeared in vignettes. Lenny Rhodes got caught with drugs again, gave him the fatherly approach. Anyways, PPV time. AWF Presents The Hollywood Horror Show: Mountain Albert, Chad Zuma & Sylvain Charles def. Mo Fury, Lenny Rhodes & Patriot (59): Throwaway match to give Prophecy's Truth (Albert/Zuma/Charles) some spotlight. Towerblock, Theo Barkley, Joe Havanna def. Nick Hart, Ricky Fire & Vincent I. Parket (71): Same as the above, giving the rest of A-List some spotlight. Poor Nick Hart is stuck in smaller storylines. Buff' N' Tuff' def. The New California Blondes (76): Will the New California Blondes take the title next month? I'm not sure, I think I'll turn them heel so they can finally grab the belts. Immortal Warrior def. Caleb Adonis (77): Once more Adonis fails to rise above Immortal Warrior, I'm thinking a stable war next PPV to give Adonis a win? Core def. Cross in a Steel Cage (82): I want Cross to rise above the card (and he did gain a bit of pop after this match) but I don't want to cost Core some popularity while I'm at it, I see this continuing on. Drake Richards def. Garrett South (79): Mildly disappointing once more and Garrett South isn't even gaining pop from these losses. I love Drake Richards but he's in time decline, I'm not sure if I should take the risk and give South the win or send these two on opposite lanes. Timothy Hawk def. Jean-Claude Giroux & Silva Dolla (88): Saved the card, I think Hawk vs. Giroux next month will finally break through 90 for me. Fall Brawl is next pay-per-view, I'd like to do something special but I'm not sure what. Also gonna bring back Best In The World at some point for a tournament.
  9. I get that. When I start a file I tend to open up a word document to organize who I'd like to push and not and Garrett South was not on my list but I decided to leave him in the main event storylines because of the pre-set ones and he's been doing well enough for me not to abruptly remove him. I'm not sure what my future plans are for him but right now, I'm very much fitting in the Casey Skym role of using him as a pet project. Jean-Claude Giroux received a 45K contract to have the biggest contract in the company. Then Drake Richards and Chaperone joined him. **** Chaperone. I should get him back in the ring and leech his pop. Lenny Rhodes caught for soft drugs but fatherly approach worked, I had a feeling it would since he's got a pretty decent popularity, hope I can get rid of it because I really like him. While I may pull out better ratings than Integrity at times, they've really got a knack for getting weekly 90 rated matches. Mine are all 80-84 with one special 89 courtesy of J-C Giroux. Anyways, another pay-per-view down and while it was better than last pay-per-view, there was quite a bit of disappointment. AWF Power To The People: The New California Blondes def. #Trending (71): Probably a bad game decision due to the pop loss and little gain it'll give the NCB but I chose to ahead with it anyways, will the duo finally get their title shot next pay-per-view to beat Buff & Studd? LeRoy Winters def. Dwayne Kai & Omri Stone (52): Throwaway ppv match to get Kai on the card. Buff n' Tuff def. Hard Rock Warning (69): Keeping the tag champs momentum up while they wait for the Blondes. Cross def. Nick Hart (74): Gotta admit I was hoping for better but still great results. Cross is another one of my project players except he's ready made for the main event. Beating up the more popular Nick Hart should set him up for bigger things or perhaps I'll extend this further. Immortal Warrior def. Caleb Adonis (75): Considering Caleb Adonis's 36 pop, I was really happy with this match rating. Warrior had to go through Havanna, Barkley, both together and then Towerblock to finally get his hands on Adonis. Gonna extend this as well so Adonis can keep gaining pop. Jean-Claude Giroux def. Core (74): The biggest disappointment of the PPV. ANOTHER duo of main eventers who do not click -_- Note Giroux doesn't click with Warrior either and Hawk/Richards don't click. Limits my feud possibilities. Story for this was Giroux joining Prophecy's Truth to take out Core, I'm gonna get him in a title feud now I think since extending with Core won't be of much use. Core keeps fighting Prophecy. Drake Richards def. Garrett South (78): Admittedly was hoping this would do better as well. This will continue, I'll try to give Drake Richards a new gimmick and hope that helps some. Timothy Hawk def. Silva Dolla (87): Saved my show, Hawk defeats Dolla. Will this feud continue? Not sure. Giroux got a 89 rated match with Hawk in a pick your poison match so I'd really like to get him in this scene. PPV rating was down from last week but we're closing in on National. At 71 pop across USA, South West & Tri-State are past 65% importance, South East & New England on the cusp of it and a few other areas closing in on it. Maybe October will be the month we reach National. --- Loving the game so far as I said before, my longest solo game and it's only been 2 months (though I had a BHOTWG split that went about 4 months give or take). EDIT: Had a random rating boost of 2.73 to 3.60 hope it sticks
  10. Not sure why I hadn't thought that up myself. Thanks a bunch. Also I hadn't noticed that made an acronym at first, I thought it was a list of names You're in POW or WrestleX?
  11. Had my first pay-per-view and it was a tad disappointing - AWF Uprising: Cross def. Patriot (70) US - I think Patriot's horendous stamina has to do with it. Time for him to tumble down the card The New California Blondes def. Hard Rock Warning (54) - Despite NCB having no chemistry, I'd like to give them a shot at the belts before splitting Buff' N' Tuff' def. #1Trending (74) TAG - Was hesitant about this because of the latters pop but pulled the trigger, hopefully Trending can bounce back in singles competition Towerblock def. Theo Barkley & Joe Havanna (67) - Post match, Adrienne united them under one banner. Any suggestions for a name? LeRoy Winters def. Omri Stone (55) TV - I wanted a B-Show Winters could headline but couldn't get one. Either way, he's a better wrestler than Omri Stone for the youngins to compete with. Core def. Mountain Albert (74) - Albert's horrendous stamina killed this match, I wish I could lower PPV stuff to 6 as well, I'm sure they could've pulled an 80. Skym/Core vs. Albert/Prophecy next month? Jean-Claude Giroux def. Immortal Warrior (82) - They didn't click I will probably end this and join Giroux up with Prophecy's International Wrestling Alliance (need a name for it still), maybe have Warrior come back in a month for vengeance. Timothy Hawk def. Drake Richards, Garett South & Silva Dolla (82) - Another disappointment, Silva Dolla will now feud seperately with Hawk for his rematch clause and Richards with South for costing him his one shot at the belt. The original goal was to have Richards go on to feud with Hawk but after that last showing, South may get his shot instead.
  12. I always hesitate putting main eventers in official teams, or high pop guys in general just because it'll be hard to get the straps off them.
  13. 3 shows into AWF and I'm really enjoying it. Of course, you can imagine my disappointment when Timothy Hawk and Drake Richards have no chemistry and get a 69, thank God it wasn't the main event of a pay-per-view and just a regular show, I was expecting to break into the 90s with that match-up though now I know it's a feud I'll never do. Silva Dolla also got caught for soft drugs though he took my slap on the wrist well so hopefully he'll get back into it. Timothy Hawk isn't doing as great as I thought and I'd say the start of the main event storyline is Garett South whom I had the least expectations for. A feud with Drake Richards should put him on the level I'd like for a title run. Oh and he's turned face too. Tag division is a bit hard to book, especially with my future superstar tag, Bryce & Cool having no chemistry. I've got Core trying to take out the ex-leader of the PWSUX Invasion, Prophecy. I'm thinking I'll bring in a League of Shadows type crew under Prophecy full of diverse nations, I've got Chad Zuma set to join, probably Sylvain Charles as well. So far, Core is going to face Mountain Albert whom Prophecy has hired to take of his problems though Casey Skym is firmly on Prophecy's side. I'd like to try out a Prophecy/Casey Skym match down the line as a special attraction type thing. Other than that, Adrienne is uniting Barkley/TowerBlock/Havanna under her beau, Caleb Adonis (who needs to rise up the ranks quickly to justify it). I've got Giroux trying to retire Immortal Warrior. Patriot trying to take out Cross. And those are my main plot lines. Also got some PPV deals in Canada and Mexico. Trying to get a B-Show going for the undercard. As it is, I scrapped the women's division, and I'm thinking of scrapping the television title but having a B-Show would help me justify keeping it. So far though, that belt is never actually making its way on television since Omri Stone isn't high enough on my list of priorities. Very unfortunate that Timothy Hawk & Drake Richards failed to perform on the day I could've beat PWI in show quality. Loving this game though!
  14. Trying out AWF, first thing that came to mind was signing up Caleb Adonis (I was expecting someone with high sex appeal, perhaps high star quality and perhaps decent entertainment stats but no actual in-ring ability, surprise surprise, he's skilled enough for me to push to the moon.) Going to have Adrienne unite the trio of stars trying to court her under the name of Caleb Adonis. I'm also very into Cool Chris and Bryce Christensen (I think that's the latter's name), pairing them up with Kelly King and gonna try and move them up the card as well. Looking forward to this file~!
  15. You should check out Hollywood Giant and Diablo Khan, they're very awesome dudes, both have pretty high star quality and menace I'm pretty sure so they can hold their own in a promo. Bryan Mitchell is a nice look too.
  16. I see through wrestler profiles that The Club are as far as the fifth season or have at least finished that. Can anyone define how long a season generally is for them, as in when does it start/finish?
  17. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Bigpapa42" data-cite="Bigpapa42" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="38420" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>So about to kick off the PWI game I've been planning for a few weeks. Would be awesome if I can make it big with The Club though it's products hinder the growth quite a lot.</p>
  18. Anyone gotten deep into this game yet? I'm on International Wrestling Japan but I'd like to tackle a bigger company as well.
  19. Glad this is finally out; got a list of promotions I'm deciding between right now: DIASPORA, Dragon Pro, FKPW, IWJ, POW!, HONOUR, PWI, UPJ & Wrestlesaurus. Though POW! and Wrestlesaurus are long shots. I'll probably also take one of the smaller companies for the sake of growth.
  20. <p><strong>Ezekiel Jackson </strong>versus Jinder Mahal</p><p> Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd versus <strong>The Ascension</strong></p><p> Tamina versus <strong>Beth Phoenix</strong></p><p> </p><p> I fancy The Ascension, hope they get a push to the top of your division.</p>
