Love the added fantasy fighters. I thought I was the only one who did this for a giggle. Always amusing to see Rab C Nesbitt win a lhw belt. I couldn't see them in the companies tab on the db, but have you set the ufc to open up? I put myself in Dana's shoes and started it up for a laugh as a very low level organisation.
Just done a series of quick fights and Tong Po beat nearly everyone, only falling to a decision loss to Ivan Drago. Easiest was Tommy Riordan who got beaten by a bodyshot in 15 seconds. Best fight was against Chong Li that went the distance and was rated as fantastic.

Thanks. I've played a couple long games and fixed some minor errors. I also added Yuri Boyka (Undisputed) in the version I'm playing. I'm trying to decide if I want to delete the fighters that don't all have matching head/body pics, but as of right now I'm pretty happy. For fun, I added a narrative that occurs after a couple months (in game). GAMMA and ALPHA-1 lose money/popularity because its discovered they have ties to organized crime.

"A global criminal conspiracy that reaches into the highest levels of MMA. CEO of GAMMA, Mike Tripp, was unavailable for comment."

I'm not sure if I will keep it, but it does makes the game world more interesting to have those two juggernauts neutered.

 3. 32,000 entries is the maximum you can have and still be able to manipulate the data in the WMMA editor. Above 32,000 and it will still work in-game, but you can no longer edit the data.

Why can't you put a bye in a one night tournament if a fighter is injured and it's to late to come up with a replacement? Why is cancelling the entire tournament the only option available?

I usually like to run super events (i.e. max fights) and I have never had an issue working around injuries. Although, running full events doesn't give as fast of popularity gains since you are running less events. I don't mind, but everyone's tastes are different.

Another alternative, if you are going to run a one night tourney, you set an event far in the future and have a couple guys training for that event (opponent TBD). That way you always have a guy on standby that you can swap in. You can then just move them to another event or cancel the fight, if you end up not needing them.

 6.
I didn't want to go too far with adding the fantasy characters, as they all very good stats wise. I may add more as time goes on, but I'm pretty satisfied at the moment.

The complete list is in the thread, but here it is again for convenience,

Tong Po (Kickboxer)

Chong Li (Bloodsport)

Frank Dux (Jean Claude Van Damme from Bloodsport)

Ivan Drago (Rocky IV)

John Kreese (Karate Kid)

Johnny Lawrence (Karate Kid)

Bruce Lee

Tommy Riordan (Warrior)

I’m currently playing a long game to find any errors that I may have missed, and for personal enjoyment. I’m enjoying the results, so far. Just went into Low National popularity, started up a reality show for a new Bantamweight division, and began heavily poaching GAMMA and Alpha-1 to consolidate world-wide talent. James Foster vs Ivan Drago is in the works.

This has just been a little project to create a game world that I would want to use and I figured it was worth the time to share, if anyone had similar interests. I appreciate the other modders who made this mashup possible. Thank you.

 10. Spent some time cleaning up the rosters for Strikeforce to bring them down to 25 fighters per weight class, as I feel like that is more manageable to start and leaves more fighters to develop on their own and become worth signing. Also shutdown the Bantamweight division as I feel like that would be better to have that for the company when the game world is richer with characters. I'm looking forward to adding the Under 135 project when that gets released, but will end up using those fighters as Bantamweights. Just to keep track of the fantasy fighters I've added and if anyone wants to delete/change them: Tong Po (Kickboxer) Chong Li (Bloodsport) Frank Dux (Jean Claude Van Damme from Bloodsport) Ivan Drago (Rocky IV) John Kreese (Karate Kid) Johnny Lawrence (Karate Kid) Bruce Lee Tommy Riordan (Warrior)
 11.
Here is a version two of the database which is a mashup of default C-Verse, Modern Warrior, the female expansion, London's five-packs mods, and a few random and custom created fighters. Birthdates/Debut Dates were heavily modified from MW to allow compatibility with the January 2002 starts date in the default game, records were wiped, and bios were set to organic.

This was designed to play as Strikeforce, a high regional American company to start with male divisions Heavyweight down to Bantamweight. The BW division is underdeveloped to start. I usually follow a strategy of raiding XCC to get talent for LW, FW, and BW until the game world starts to develop, but I'll probably end up adding some additional BW fighters at the start of the game. If you aren't interested in the time it takes to develop, I'd shutdown the BW division and move them all up to Featherweight or Lightweight. I don't plan on focusing on the female divisions until the male divisions are fully established and stable, but there are plenty of female fighters available if a player has interest in creating female weight classes for the company at the start.

Strikeforce starts with a CBS contract, but I don't use that until crossing into Low National popularity to rapidly develop talent I'm interested in via reality television. If you prefer a harder game, I would delete that contract and reduce Strikeforce's finances (currently set to 10 million). If you want an even more difficult game, I'd suggest lowering Strikeforce's popularity to low or medium regional and delete the existing contracts. If you don't want to play as Strikeforce, I'd either delete the company or set it to randomly open and delete the current contracts.

Some of the custom characters, i.e Tong Po (Kickboxer) Bruce Lee, Ivan Drago (Rocky IV), Chong Li (Bloodsport), etc. are admittedly a little over-powered. I'd just delete them, or take the time to reduce their stats if they bother you. I'd also take a look at the new team I created, Cobra Kai Dojo, if you have balance concerns since it is currently the best team in the game. There also may be a few duplicate pictures for some of the randomly created fighters, which I personally don't mind as missing pictures bothers me a lot more, but you can swap those out from some of the available free pictures or delete them if you don't like it. I also play with automatic fighter generation turned off.

Again, feedback definitely welcome as one of the enduring qualities that make this game amazing is the freedom you have over customizing your own game world and I'm constantly tinkering with the game. And, again, huge credit to the other modders who made my tinkering achievable.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/w3dp3pn3b7kytbk/kitchensink2.zip

 12.
I currently have a much cleaner version of the database that I had to create from scratch after identifying an issue with the populate fighter feature that was fixed in [1.07]. Again, it combines the Default database with the female expansion mod, the MW mod, London's five packs, some additional created fighters and a few for fun characters (those can be easily deleted if the thought of characters like Bruce Lee in your game world breaks the immersion too much).

The scenario is Strikeforce starts as a high regional American company with male divisions of Heavyweight down to Bantamweight and most of the available top level prospects already on contract. Although, a player will probably need to raid XCC to fill out the LW, FW, BW divisions, but over the next couple years (and onward) the game world will be flush with interesting talent.

This version has well over 6000 characters in the database (which all have pictures, even the non-fighter characters), 1900+ free pictures, 16,000+ available names, additional event names, additional broadcasters, additional refs/judges, a few additional teams, and two additional companies (including Strikeforce). The SHW division is gone and all fighters were tweaked back down to HW. The goal was to have a big, interesting sandbox to play in and not need to have automatic creation of fighters turned on (which I personally prefer). With a company that is well-postioned for growth, but not as big and well-defined as GAMMA or Alpha-1 (allowing a player to make their own history). I'm pretty happy with the results I've gotten, so far, from play-testing, but I will need to continue to test to identify any errors or balance issues. A project like this is never really done, but the only major thing I still want to do is add a few "Yet To Debut" fighters in under-represented regions.

If interested in giving it a play-test, let me know I can post the database. Again, huge thanks to the WMMA modding community for making this personal project achievable in a realistic amount of time.

 13. I still have a lot of updates to do with the fighters I've added after deciding to turn off character generation. It will probably take a few weeks to finish.
 14.
I spent quite a bit of time adding "Yet to Debut" fighters with the general strategy of having no less than 50 upcoming fighters for each region and each weight class (both male and female/random spread for both skills and debut year). That brought up the character count to just over 9100 fighters which I believe is enough to be able to turn off automatic creation of fighters and still have a good population balance.

Now I need to review all the fighters created to ensure everything looks good. I don't like that the default persona for all created fighters appears to be "aggressive". I've also added most of the companies from MW and will spend some time balancing them for my database and setting their open time to random.

 15.
I've come to conclusion that I don't really care for the automated adding of fighters done by the game, even though it’s an awesome feature by itself. Specifically because a good amount of the time they don't have pictures and that breaks the immersion for me. Personally, I'd rather have duplicate pictures than no pictures. So, I'm adding a few more yet-to-debut fighters in under-represented areas and will be turning that feature off.

I also think it’s a lot less fun to try to run a National level company without an established roster. A lot of times you have to ignore the really competitive fights because guys don't have a good enough name value. So, I'll be spending some time establishing a core roster for the new company I added, so I have some more consistency with trying to build events. Perhaps even dropping the company down to regional and trying to build it up.

 16.
Here is the version I'm playing. 5000+ fighters, which personally, hits the right buttons of mixing fantasy and reality. A big sandbox to enjoy. Feedback very welcome, especially when it comes to managing balance.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/td9y0u1eweu5c34/KitchenSink.zip

 17. This is just a personal project I've been working on based in large part on other people's work, so thank you for the awesome WMMA community (huge credit to them). I'm still working on it, but I wanted to post what my plans were to get people's thoughts, i.e. constructive feedback welcome. The basic run down of the design: Combines Default with the fighters from the Real World and CE: Female mods Incorporates some smaller mods like London's Five Packs The Real World and CE Female fighters have had bios/records/popularity cleared and dates adjusted for compatibility with the Default database Fighters that did not have pictures were removed Fighters from those mods have had their bios set to organic Fighters from those mods have had some minor rating adjustments for balance (i.e. some fighters had ratings set to zero) A few additional fighters were generated to increase diversity All fighters, including default, have been set to Active The male SHW division has been collapsed into HW for increased division depth The female AW/SW divisions have been collapsed into FlyW/BW to increase division depth Any females that were above FeatherW were adjusted back down to FeatherW (again for division depth) Has a few "for fun" characters like Chong Li (Bloodsport), Tong Po (Kickerboxer), Ivan Drago (Rocky IV), etc FLB has been re-activated Adds a few companies from the Real World mod to support the increased amount of fighters Has some slight broadcaster tweaks to allow greater flexibility and to support better popularity growth for MMA Financial adjustments were made to some of the smaller companies so they aren't guaranteed to fold (at least as quickly) Adds some additional Ref/Judges/Owners/Analysts All MMA disciplines will have World Championships, but the Olympics remains the same Adds an 11th era to bring full parity between male and female base skills The database will support a very healthy amount of new fighters all the way up to 2021 before it will be strictly re-gens So, the main question is, does any of that sound like a mistake, it needs adjustments/changes or is potentially unbalanced? Any other considerations I should account for based on the changes I've made?

 21. FYI, the links in your very first post are broken.
 22. BTW, if you are interested in donations, I'd be happy to send one via PayPal. The effort you are putting into this is appreciated.

 24. Love the idea, but dislike that it breaks the ability to edit, or review, names with the editor. I believe 32,000 names is the max you can have and still be able to edit/review the list within the editor.
