Some of y'all ain't subtle. Not necessarily a bad thing, though. Bulling ahead can find scum, too. See you know who in the other game, brother. I too, would like to hear more from DJ. -

Well. Uh. You've put me on the spot, having barely read the thread. I dunno, man. So far rules seem to be basic. Reviver existing is interesting. Shame to lose lukes and Leion so early. I like their play. Otherwise I got nothin'. Seriously, if I'm postless @ me. Guaranteed I didn't know the game started. -

I'm "Trust, But Verify" man myself. You know, Distrusted column, Trusted column, and the starting column. It does not have a name. I haven't thought that hard about it. People work their way from the middle to one side or the other, generally. Though there's been some dramatic swings in past games. -

Everyone else? That's a paranoid way of saying it. I'd prefer to say anyone could be my enemy. And depending on the game, you might not even be able to trust yourself. -

We can nominate ourselves? That's interesting. -
Gah. Worked two overnight shifts, and then today, 9 hours after leaving. Switched a afternoon/evening shift with a colleague, and now I have two full days off for once. As opposed to effectively a day and a half. I'm all caught up now, and woof, what a day. Can't wait to see what happens when we reopen.

Unless I have actionable information, I am not keen on lynching for the sake of lynching.

You're hitting the nail on the head. I've seen Day 1 lynches go spectacularly bad. When someone's not talking like machine you can either wait or pile on the votes. As there's plenty of conversation outside the push and time left, there's no need to push an actual lynch at this stage. The decision people need to think about now is if machine doesn't come on in the next 12 hours, would you add your vote? I think mine would go on.

Well, yeah. Votes are typically the best way of getting someone's attention. And there's plenty of time to undo things if he shows. But,

However, I am not sure I want to play that aggressive right out of the gate when the vote is pretty much taking place on a whim.

Pretty much this. Bandwagoning is an easy, easy trap to fall into. Silence doesn't mean guilt, and I've never been entirely on board with "get rid of the useless and/or inactive" anyway. Obvious statement is obvious, but lynching townies only helps the mafia win. And the serial killer, if there is one of those.
