The file is sadly down
Link updated.
If anyone has suggestions for changes, let me know. Maybe I'll release a new version if enough people want things added/subtracted/changed.

Love the mod, man, and so glad you're using the angle pack. Let me know if you need any alterations. Time to take FMW to the biggest company in the world!
-
I'm trying to keep it simply with no governing body. The idea is that the World Tag Team Titles are just that, so trying to figure out a good secondary title name that doesn't have a geographic or weight restriction has been hard. I've been mulling if trying for a marketing partnership (like, picking a broadcaster, newspaper or video producer) as has been the case for some titles in IRL puro, but I figured I'd ask around for some suggestions.
It's really difficult. You might be best served with the broadcaster-based name (something like the GAORA title in AJPW--though what happens if you change broadcaster down the road?), but I'm still kind of partial to something like the NEVER name. DREAM TTCs? POWER TTCs? And then just come up with what it is (or isn't) an acronym for later on. What did you think of just Openweight Tag Team?
-
Playing around with some openweight (though largely heavyweight) tag-team oriented Japanese promotion concepts.
I'm trying to figure out a name for a secondary tag team title, and I'm stuck on picking a name. The main title is the World Tag Team Titles, but I don't want it to be All-Asia, Intercontinental, International or National, but I can't figure out what to name the secondary title.
Any suggestions?
I kind of like Openweight Tag Team (even if the other titles are openweight as well). Otherwise, have you thought of doing something like the NEVER titles and coming up with some kind of “governing body” or name like Youth Energy Series (YES) Tag Team Championships? Or Ruling International Global Honor Team (RIGHT) TTCs? That feels like a very puro thing to do.

Is there a quick way to delete them or one by one in editor?
Yes indeed. Go to the editor before you start a game, hit “Toggle List” in the upper corner, then “Select All” on the menu to the left of the list. Hit “Delete items” and you’re good to go.
-
With the full game released, I’m hoping this thread will provide people with endless ideas and booking suggestions.
I’d love some thoughts on a gimmick for Champagne Lover in DAVE in 2005.
-
After reading, it's specifically Entertainment, Microphone, Acting, Selling, and Fighting that are considered by the game as doing something.
I'll take a look at the angles today and see if I can incorporate more of these without losing realism.
-
How do I implement this in my Killing the Business mod? I'm new to this game
Okay. You’re going to want to create a new database in the editor, then paste the TEW2020.mdb file in there. Once you’re in the game, just open whatever DB you want to use, delete all the angles (or make them non-default; up to you). While you’re on the Angles screen, go to “Import” in the editor and pick the DB with the pack in it. Hit “Select All,” import and you’re good to go. Same drill if you want to import into your current save, though you’ll have to manually delete/un-default the current angles if you do it that way.
Let me know if it doesn’t work/if you’ve got any comments once you get a look at it.
Oh, and welcome to this great community!

I do like this pack a lot, but one change I'd ask is to set more angles up to where "something entertaining" always happens. I think it's mic, charisma, and fighting? But I definitely love this pack and will be using it.
That makes sense. I’ve tried to change most of the things that were rated on just overness in 2016, but I certainly didn’t get everything. I’ll take a look tomorrow.
Some of the video packages, etc. probably shouldn’t be over 4 minutes in an ideal world, but I don’t think they can reasonably be rated on anything but overness.
Thanks for the feedback!
-
Love it, thank you a ton. It'll def add to the game for me.
You’re welcome! Great to hear.
Any feedback/critique is welcome.
-
thank you
No problem, man. Take a look and let me know what you think. Open to any comments/critiques.

THE ODOBENUS ANGLE PACK 3.0
I released an angle pack for TEW 2013 and 2016, and I've made significant updates/changes/ease-of-use upgrades for 2020. I've been using versions of this angle pack since I started playing TEW and it's saved me so much time over the years.
What is it?
This is a small, simple angle pack that I believe can meet almost every need in the game with minimal cloning and changing. I've used it for my own games since I got TEW and decided to finally share it.
Why should I download it?
The goal is to eliminate redundancies in the default angles (i.e. three different kinds of interview angle) while making angle descriptions as self-explanatory as possible and streamlining the process of using what workers do best. I think the names this time make it way easier to use than the 2016 version.
How many angles are there?
Currently 68, though I'll be adding and subtracting based on feedback from you guys (there are around 20 distinct angles with multiple versions that rate workers on different things).
Hang on. You can't do everything with 68 angles, can you?
No, but you can do a lot. I don't separate most angles that are mechanically the same--in other words, a brawl in-ring and a brawl backstage will be the same angle, Brawl - (Stat). All you need to do is find the version that rates workers on what you want—for example, a 1 on 1 brawl hs versions that rate both workers on fighting, one on fighting and menace, one on fighting and sex appeal, etc. The tag version is Brawl - Tag (Stat).
How are the angles sorted?
Just look at the names! Now that searching by names is easier within the game, you can just search for my abbreviations for the name of each stat. Want to find a promo, an interview, a brawl, an attack and save? Just search for it. They're intuitively named (I think).
I have a criticism!
Wonderful! This will be an updated version of the only mod I’ve ever released and I'd love feedback. Post it in this thread and I'll read it, or PM me. I really want to make this pack as user-friendly as possible, and I can't do that if you don't tell me what you're looking for.
If you really hate it and just want to insult me, that’s fine too!
I actually like this! Can I use it in my mod?
Sure thing! Add to it, subtract from it (if 20-ish different angles is too many for you), release it with your mod or savegame, simply re-release it on another site, send it to your mom as a late mother's day gift. Just give me credit, please.
When can I get it?
Today! This is version 3.0, but I'll release a version 3.1 based on feedback the day of the full release. (Or maybe I'll pull a Microsoft and call it Version 5.)
I don't understand the name!
The Latin name for a walrus is odobenus rosmarus. I thought it was funny.
Where can I find it?

Golden beat Scythe clean at the January PPV. The Crippler interrupted Golden celebrating the win to be inserted into the Scythe/Golden storyline on the 1st Supreme TV after When Hell Freezes Over. Any ideas to continue the story? What match goes on at the February PPV? Who wins? Do Crippler & Scythe work together? Does anyone help Golden out? DOes Eric Eisen get involved?Emma Chase?
I would definitely keep the belt on Rocky in February. Having Crippler also in the story gives you a ton of freedom to have Rocky win without actually pinning Scythe. Maybe Mikey Lau helps Rocky out at some point and you can transition into two separate feuds.
What’s your plan for Supreme Challenge? That will factor in as well.
-
So sorry to hear, Fleisch. I've gotten hours and hours of enjoyment out of your 2016 mods and will continue to do so. Please know that you've been an asset to the community and we'll be sorry to see your mods go.
Thank you for all your hard work.
-
Looking for a stable name for an Eric Eisen/Emma Chase led authority. Kinda don't wanna go with "The Authority." I was trying to do something involving Supremacy, but it always sounds like a white power group haha.
The Empire?
Power Trip?
The Eisen Enterprise?

I personally wouldn't give them a popularity boost. You're already going to get a boost to attendance, segment ratings, and merch sales because of his popularity.
Yeah I think that's fair. On the other hand, I feel like if someone like The Rock bought, say, ROH right now, it would inherently gain a significant amount of notoriety and clout in negotiations.
But I'll play it by ear. Thanks for the thoughts.
-
According to the handbook, including people with high popularity in a certain region relative to the company can boost attendance up to 50%.
I was thinking in terms of starting a game as Jack Bruce with PSW, IPW, etc. At the beginning of the game, would you give a popularity boost to reflect his name value?
-
Matt Hocking vs. Bart Biggins vs. Benny Benson vs. Roderick Remus
Mighty Mo vs. Killer Shark
The Elite vs. Devine Fortune
Greg Gauge © vs. T-Bone Bright vs. TBA
Joshua Taylor vs. One Man Army
As a TCW/CGC mark, I can't tell you how stoked I am to see this.
-
Cro, these are genuinely incredible.
-
Good to know man. When may you finish this?
It should be out by the end of next week, hopefully, with around 90-100-ish angles named for ease of use and complete with descriptions, auto-name and commentary.
It will 100% be done by release, but I'm aiming for Thursday the 7th or Friday the 8th.

I can’t smackin’ wait!
This is gonna be good.

What changed? I thought that feature remained exactly the same. Can't it directly be imported?
Nothing has changed mechanically. I got feedback that some of the angle descriptions/names were confusing to look at on a list, and I want to update some of the auto-name and auto-commentary descriptions.
I'll be importing my database to 2020 as a starting point and going from there.

I discovered that Freddy Huggins has good chemistry tagging with Jay Chord and also that Jay Chord has good chemistry tagging with Joshua Taylor. So I decided to put them together as a heel stable of elitists, but I'm struggling to come up with a name. They all have their default gimmicks for 2020. Any ideas for the stable name?
The Franchise?
Empire?
Tradition of Excellence?
The Smooth Operators?
The Firm?
Just a few thoughts.

Mazel tov on fatherhood!
My absolute favorite cut pack is back! Your people and belts are a fixture in every game I play.
Would love a Lacey von Erich cut and a Nigel McGuinness as Desmond Wolfe cut when you have the time. Also, if you have time to cut WCW belts in your style, that would be amazing.
