1. I guess it's because they are popular personnalities. Or perhaps it's a problem within the mod you are using.
 2.
No style-style.

Because I don't know what the heck I'm doing.

 3. Too many people have had this problem, TEW veterans included, so it's definitely counter intuitive. I'm sure It's not the last time we'll have to answer that question. If it's not fixed for full release with alternate ways to release a worker, it's not gamebreaking but this topic deserves to be pinned at the top as this question is being the most asked overall.
 4. After his message from yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if Mister Ryland doesn't tell us the release date until the last moment. In order not have too many people trying to access the website and buy/download the game at the same time.
 5. Once you know where it is, it's quick to access so no big deal. But yeah, there is no logic to put the "release" option well hidden here in contract details. It would have made more sense being able to release a worker directly from the negotiate tab and/or by talking to him.

I haven't had any time to play the game for a few days so just curious...

I ran a test with Patch #13 and the new version of the database.

I don't know which one has been "fixed"; TEW itself, the DB or both; but the answer is yes. There are less member turnovers and stable disbanding.

After checking news day-by-day for one in-game month (since there is no "stable news" when you search for story types), here's what I noted :

Stable Creation : 3

Stable Disbanding : 1

Members turnover : 1

On a side note, there are also way less workers turning face/heel but as much tag team creation as before.

 7.

As everyone else has said, a road agent's skill is the average of his Psychology and Experience stats, modified by their Respect stat.

So Jerry Martin, with decent Psychology and 100 Experience, is going to be a much better agent than Nightmare Stalker, with less psychology and much less experience.

I knew those stats were crucials for Road Agents, but I didn't know about this calculation.

 8.
After some quick tests on the demo, it seems there's just too many stables for the AI at the start in the C-Verse.

If I remember well, there are 52 active stables at the beginning of the game.

I deleted all of them before beginning a new game.

After two months spent just observing, there's now 23 stables in the game. Companies have between 0 and 2 stables at most. And the game seems to really like stables with 5 people in it.

Like I said, it's just based on the first two months available in the demo but I wanted to share my results.

On a side note, yes it would be a nice option to permit modders to "lock" stables for some times.

Concerning the T-Verse, the principe of the game is to be unpredictable in order not to have the same game start everytime. If the first six months were always the same when we start a new game, I wouldn't like it at all.

 9. Talking of notes, I hope you and the team still have those from years ago concerning the never released "ThunderVerse Vice" mod. I didn't forget the hype, even 5 years later.
 10.

I've seen this too and read that it's restructuring and will settle down with time. Ok, but why should a properly set up default database need restructuring at all? Surely it should be ready to play and properly balanced already. Another small disappointment. Despite some good patches, the game still feels like it's been rushed out.

True. But it's not like it wasn't the same thing in previous iterations. Companies on firing/hiring rampages, with 5+ turns at their first show etc...

IMO the problem is that the default database is too much "stable focused" for how the system works.

 11.
I really like the new systems for products and gimmicks.

In TEW2016, I spent too much time tweaking styles emphasis to find a good product for me and assigning gimmicks to new workers.

And the match/angle focus in product is a great addition.

EDIT : I also forgot the "worker promise" stuff.

 12.

Still gets a lot of worker overuse penalties, but I don’t think that’s a huge issue if you’re using it for B shows.

It has been confirmed times and times again, there is no point to lose his mind over every penalty in the game, like this one. Those are, most of the times, just guidelines.

Of course, if you have penalties for booking a sex appeal focused match or a deathmatch at a family friendly show it's a bigger deal. (and totally the booker's fault.)

 13.

Ah, gotcha. I guess if someone's gimmick is awful they're stuck with it for a while then eh?

The gimmick will eventually gets better... or worse.

 14.
I also see a lot of turnover in stables.

I assume stables are one of those gameplay element that change a lot in the beginning of the game, thanks to face/heel balance and CPU stats calculations, but are more steady as in game time passes.

 15.

I probably just missed it in the dev journal, but what does tweaking a gimmick do? I thought maybe if someone had a gimmick rated as poor or awful that I could tweak it and try to make it better, is that not what it does?

If I'm remembering well from TEW2016, "tweaking" a gimmick permits it to last longer before being stale.

 16. Remember the infamous "King of The Road" match between Dustin Rhodes and Blacktop Bully ? Take this match with a really modern twist : instead of being in a caged-off trailer, the two workers are on top of a truck driving high speed on a road. The goal is to throw the other guy off the top.
 17. As a French, it's pretty easy to understand a Quebecois (except for slangs) but I'm pretty sure I couldn't chat with an Acadian/Cajun for 15minutes without decoding.
 18. Every region of Canada in the game should have a different level of "french-canadian" presence in names and language. Quebec -> Ontario/The Maritimes -> Other Regions This would be in line with the popularity spillover of Quebec and the fact that Ontario and The Maritimes are, in my knowledge, Canada's regions where french canadians (or assimilated) are the most presents, after quebec. I don't know if it's possible to do this in the game by modifying the database. But yeah, way more in-game workers spawning in Quebec should speak french even if it's not 100% of them. It's just the opinion of a non-canadian French.
 19. Since we have two more weeks to wait, maybe I'll start a new game in TEW2016 before buying TEW2020 once it's released. Just in order to get back into the swing of things. But I'll surely wait for the release of the Thunderverse mod 2020 before playing TEW2020 full times.
 20.
Demo : check the gameworld's state, familiarise myself with the new options/interfaces.

Full Release : "Backyard to global" run. Opening a company day one in game and build from there.

 21.
I connect to the forum after months (maybe years ?) because TEW demo is releasing today and the first thing I read is this :

Consider it official <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

This hypes me much more for TEW2020. I would have bought it anyway, but the T-Verse will make this better !
