When ending storylines is it whoever is involved potentially gets a Pop increase depending on storyline heat etc? And if that is the case what do people think best way to approach it? Add the end storyline note to the match notes, post match angle or just after the PPV end it in the storyline window? I'm not sure if there is a way of ending that benefits more.

Shawn Michaels vs Christian Christian went over Jericho at Mania, with Jericho the face moving over to Smackdown after to start his run there - Christian was so happy after Mania and went to Bischoff expecting him to be the man but Bischoff tells him he has still got a long way to go he should know he was the one who picked the stars back in the way when never mind, later that night Christian attacks HBK after his match, quite violent - this was his way of showing hes ready Trish Stratus vs Mickie James If i'm being honest not much has happened in the womans picture so far, I have signed few young superstars and just in the process of trying to get them up POP wise etc this is basic Trish had a fan front row few weeks over enthusiastic that was off putting, one week the girl turns and attacks - revealed to be Raws newest womans superstar Mickie James Goldberg vs Mark Henry w/D'Lo & Teddy at ringside HBK beat Goldberg at Mania, renewed his contract to use him to build up stars - Goldberg bounced back from HBK next night on Raw with a big win, Henry comes out post match challenges to see who the real monster is - fight next week but goes to no contest, match made for Backlash usual back and forth here Umaga w/Jake Roberts vs RVD Umaga debuted attacking RVD, following week Jake was specal guest on Raw - Umaga comes out to attack, RVD tries to make save it was a trap - Jake is the manager and "controller" of Umaga - (Had to change his finisher to the Samoan Snake Bite) this will hopefully lift Umaga up the roster a bit as his Pop is still not as high as I'd like for the monster but with Roberts on the mic for him it'll fly up; Ric Flair and Batista vs Hurricane and Rosey Was a tag team title tournament Evolution "helped" Hurrican and Rosey win because they thought they were giving themselves a night off essentially but the Superhero and SHIT have been showing they have a little about them. SMACKDOWN JUDGEMENT DAY Kurt Angle (c) vs Brock Lesnar Was 3 matches over 2 Smackdowns to determine number 1 contender Brock beating The Undertaker on Smackdown with some unexpected help - Lesnar lost to Cena at Mania and is a man on a mission getting himself back that WWE Title his mentor Paul Heyman who is also Smackdown GM has struggled "controlling" or keeping the Beast in line showing cracks between the 2. Booker T vs The Undertaker First match of the number 1 contender tournament was Booker T vs The Big Show vs The Undertaker, with the Undertaker picking up the victory over The Big Show, Booker T who earlier in the night admitted he wasnt happy he was moved to Smackdown but will show everyone that he should be the man taking the company forward not trying to be brushed aside - but after the loss the following week on Smackdown he refused interview and was not seen until later when he interfered costing Taker the match thus starting something he might be able to finish - I just have visions of Booker saying in a serious voice REST IN PEACE ..... Calling up Carlito pretty early into 2004 save, Got a plan for his first fued to try get him some good pop fairly quick, any suggestions on who to have as his muscle? Tomko is gona be alongside Christian, was thinking Matt Morgan I have him not doing much or could go down the road of him "paying" someone like Atrain to have his back until i finish a more suitable option.

Playing RW2004 Mod as WWE just at end of Feb first year, brought in Umaga early - struggling to find a manager for him any suggestions was wanting someone strong on the mic to make up for Umaga's lack of talking

When you are running a storyline with guys at the bottom of the card how do you approach? Do you start a storyline even if it's just a few weeks of back n forth but not always leading to PPV matches because it is bottom of card. Or do you not book them in "storylines" and just book it without?

I've got a 2004 WWE game going I have went back to, with OVW as a child company do I need to hire and send down trainers for it? I'm sure that was part of last TEW but cant find anything on it for 2020.

Just finished IYH Feb in my 1997 save, 2nd PPV of the game so far. Sycho Sid was still champion, he lost via DQ to HBK at Royal Rumble and put Michaels out for a month. Wrestlemania will be a no DQ/Street fight between the two but wont be for the title as I had Bret go over Sid at IYH winning the title. Bret still face will go against heel Austin at Wrestlemania, Austin is getting over like mad and I will keep to real life with the double turn, been planting seeds for a while Bret being screwed by Austin at the Rumble but crowd cheering Austin when he won etc, so at Mania Bret beats Austin in a match where the crowd will be cheering Austin and Booing Bret when he wins, leading to him snapping and attacking Austin after the match. Bret will pretend hes still a good guy he just lost sight of everything but ultimately its an act as he is back as leader of Hart Foundation in next week or 2. Rocky Maivia went over British Bulldog for European title - this wasnt anything major storyline wise was just a tournament for title. Rock was soared to Well Known already so will need to sit down and plan out his next couple fueds as I think he is already too popular for the European title. Brian Pillman went over Jake Roberts - This was a short fued I may pick up later down the line, Pillman just took dislike to the old pathetic shadow of him former self Roberts and would taunt him before and after his matches before finally attacking, spitting on him/generic hell tactics. This pushed Pillman to a star. Mankind over Taker, Taker been fueding with Bearer since the game started he beat Vader cleanly at Rumble, now was Mankinds turn. Mankind went over Taker, distraction from Bearer/interference from Vader gave Mankind the oppertunity to take the W, changed Fake Diesel to Kane at start and been giving him matches on Raw etc to try get his pop up before bringing him in so technically hes been on TV but hes not really debuted yet, thinking of changing his introduction slightly, have Taker winning rematch against Mankind in a HIAC or Cage at Mania to keep out Vader/Bearer. Then either post match or at Raw have Mankind and Vader attack him, then the mystery man (Kane) makes the save and leaves, Taker and Bearer both look like they have seen a ghost, not decided how long after I will do this but basically Taker thinks Kane is on his side even though Kane isnt responding to anyone just showing up randomly in real life himself and attacking etc, eventually its Kane & Undertaker vs Mankind & Vader - thinking on Raw not PPV as match wont properly start just be a brawl and when Taker and Kane stand side by side in the ring will have Kane turn and attack - Was Bearers plan all along he was sick of Mankind and Vader failings against Taker so be brought back Kane. Will have Taker and Kane fued with Taker again true to real life refuse to fight Kane so thinking this match wont happen until KOTR or Summerslam. Mankind is a Major Star now and I may turn him face like real life and slowly introduce Dude Love/Cactus Jack again. Need to write out a plan for Foley in the next few months. Triple H is still IC champ he went over Owen Hart & Mero in a triple threat, Owen and Bulldog after losing tag titles said they would bring gold back individually so they are both getting very frustrated, this will tie in with Bret being back at Foundation as with Heel Bret leading them, the entire Hart family at one point will all hold titles. Goldust and Ahmed unlikely duo teamed up to take on Nation this is going to be dropped after this PPV it was just used to get another match on the card, have no real plans for a push for Ahmed, few ideas lined up for Goldust hes classed as a star currently so may use him to try elavate some heels. Light Heavyweight title is being introduced and over next month will have my light heavyweights get some decent TV time on Raw likes of - Rey, Ultimo, Kidman, Taka, Juvetud, Christopher Daniels, Lance Storm (although thinking of pushing him more for European but for now hes part of this) Essa Rios, Shane Helms, Teddy Hart & Tajiri - Most of them are total unknowns pop wise so only real likely winner at the moment is Ultimo. Next few days will try map out Mania/KOTR/Summerslam main matches, nothing spectacular so far but I am enjoying it, Ive struggled with TEW in the past thinking I need to have every angle/match planned out in advance, every angle has to be a storyline etc which leaves me stuck in week 1 for such a long time but I am having fun with this one so far. Is there a preference to make champions yellow when looking at booking screen or the roster etc. Or is it just built into specific skins?

In my game Angle has tested postive for pain killer abuse, sending him to rehab will be about 8 months. How much pop you think he will lose in that time or does it vary? I'm thinking of having him get an "injury" that keeps him out for that duration and also potentially sets him up a feud when he is out of rehab. I am playing 2004 mod so alot of issues with drugs etc, i think i'll ignore soft and steroid use but use rehab for hard and pain killers. How do you all deal with these things or just let them go until something happens?

Planning on a storyline where i'm having a worker come out and beat unimportant guys on the roster as well as local enhancement talents, after beating them easily he will continue to over celebrate and put himself over claim to be on a winning streak, before eventually having someone higher up on the roster come out and start a fued. Will having someone who is recognisable or well known have a series of matches with low ratings due to who he is fight have a negative effect on his overness?

Struggling to keep a game or get it to last more than a month or 2, how does everyone plan out their storylines I try plan my PPVs as far ahead and work back but end up sitting staring at the screen unsure what to do with large parts of the roster. I am going to try using a word document and try get a template of everything mapped out, just wondering if anyone has any tips/suggestions/advice.
