So I'm in a middle of playing a multi game with 2 other people. I'm controlling WCW and trying to keep things close to the vest as everything happened but with certain matches or opponents changed here and there. Back in the day watching WCW as a kid and seeing Steve McM wrestle wasn't bad until looking back years ago.!!! I'm thinking of making a lackey or possibly remove him from the group and adding Barry Windham to the mix. Arn is slowly getting to the point that can't compete so I'm thinking of him tagging with Benoit or Barry. Curious on anyone suggestions. Keeping nWo with under a limit not sure who will join them only made it to September so far in 96. I know the Giant is supposed to join them soon but I'm debating not to do that and keep the Doom stable going with Kevin S occisonally wrestle with the Giaint in the World title hunt, Big Bubba or Hugh M for the US & TV title, and possibly finally let the Faces of Fear winning the tag titles!!. Anyways should I keep Steve M in the mix or just replace him with Barry and have Arn tag with Benoit until Benoit to have a legit single run? Before he starts teaming with Dean and Arn retires. I'm not sure if Arn will retire in this mod or not.

I'm sort of picturing this concept with WCW & WCW Power Plant (dojo/school) & NWA Wildside & possible with NJPW help. PowerPlant is just a school/dojo but possible having them as a company with no titles and maybe using one of WCW old school tv shows they aren't using anymore. Also using NWA WS and maybe sending a talent over to NJPW. For this to work would be if everyone was in alliance group though but that can be ignoring. I think in the older version of TEW their was option to a direct developmental deal instead of signing someone then sending them to your child company or to a company that can take your developmental worker. So in the scenario would be signing Talent a straight to developmental deal to say WWE NXT but then you could possible do another development deal with WWE NXT UK. It should be up to 2 developmental deal. Then a possible option to maybe a company like in a smaller scale like PWG or Progress that doesn't get a major tv deal. That way I worker and maybe set these workers as freelancer so in 6 months you can check them out and if the talent is ready to be move up on to your roster then you can. Or if WWE NXT closes or you opened up another company then you should have an option to move that talent between the two without going to the main company then to the new child company. (I'm playing a mod right now with AEW but since they don't have a development/child company yet. I just made AEW Dark as the development company using AEW Dark Elevation as their tv show. )

That would be nice considering the deals with NWA and Impact and AAA and NJPW and AEW all working together. Advertising different title on other promotion it should be a filter in the alliance area or in the working relationship. I think a company should be able to be apart of more then 2 alliances or something. Most mods I play NJPW is already in one but it would be nice to have an option to like maybe do a 3 months deal with them in alliance angle without any backlash or something. Especially right now with the Forbidden door option with AEW. It should be an option like I mention before but a short time. Impact and AEW worked for like 3 or 6 months then nothing. Same with AEW and NWA without actually being or creating an alliance and titles should be involved depending on the talents. Maybe a storyline sync up like the NWA Women's Title with an AEW challenger and vice versa with a AEW Title in a storyline . If anyone is involved then you get credit good or bad to help move a storyline or something.

I think s bodyguard role could be beneficially then supposedly as a manager cause if you do a a promo skit like for Jericho or MJF and you have Wardlow or Hager sort of be like their talker instead!! It brought back memories especially for HBK with the deal with Ahmed Johnson or Sid or Diesel/Nash. Having the two align as a menace could/should be helpful to develop. Valet role is always more for eye candy where as manager is for helping talents get over that doesn't really speak yet or often. At ringside I was able to use at least 2 people at ringside. I can't remember at the moment if I did more then 2 yet. I'm playing a 96 mod and during Ric F match woman and Elizabeth is at ringside.

and also maybe by the year the team got together to especially in the edit screen before you start a game. Obviously the AI will make up their own teams throughout the game. If you would use a current mod but possible go back a few a years. It would be a lot easier to track when a team start working together to fix their team stats or something.

Exactly what I was thinking especially in late WCW days where they were trying to me the Nitro Girls into wrestling. Even ECW managers do cat fight type matches here and there. It should be an option or if someone is managing a wrestler and it leads the manager and client vs whomever in a storyline. Like WCW days or Heyman/Lesnar vs Hardyz and so on. That would be a good option for sure. Booking Russo into any match was just awful. I think TNA and WCW both just kept Russo behind the scenes who knows. The same could be said with Eric B once the nWo role was sort of done. I wouldn't have mind seeing Eric back at the commentating table again if need be. Set it up at one point if the nWo or Hogan lost then Eric is back to the table or just stay backstage!!

It should be like how wwe handle their talents between ovw/hwa/dsw/fcw/nxt. That would be easier to deal with instead of the call up and resend them somewhere else. Sometimes the talent might fight you for sending them or something.

I just downloaded TheWho mod in December version. I'm making a few adjustments and one of them is turning AEW Dark into an actual developmental place!! I copied HWA and just made a few changes to make it AEW Dark. I moved AEW Dark Evolution under the AEW Dark company with the YouTube broadcast deal. Now I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not. Having a young company like AEW and have to do 4/5 hrs of tv is a little crazy!! Then I thought about maybe before I start the game just pretend that AEW brought ROH out and make that AEW developmental place or maybe it should be Impact. Change all their broadcast deals to 1 year offers!! Another side note I've thought maybe have AEW be like WWE with NXT and NXT UK. In this idea is have AEW as the top dawg with Impact & NWA & ROH work underneath them. That way the company can work and possible develop between these companies with an alliance with Mexico and japan too. I'm not sure what to do. I really like what AEW is doing going into December but theirs a lot of talent that should be in actual train schools instead of being on TV. Plus theirs a lot of talents available and obviously AEW can't have them all but if AEW signs any talents they could easily just move them to either company as the get notice and work on their skills!! Thoughts?!!

I might be interested as well. Never had an opportunity to do it. Plus it depends on the mod and what year. If it's a Real World Mod then I'm definitely make time. I'm pretty good at any year mid 90's to present it's more my thing. I'm open to try anything. Let me know what your thoughts are and possibly work something out.

I've played different mods/era but I can never find the best accurate broadcast and media group. Theirs a few I feel like are somewhat accurate but then I when I start to play a different mod or era without checking the broadcast. I end up have to restart the game or something. I'm just wondering what everyone thoughts on this.

Exactly and thanks for understanding me. I'm better at talking in person with someone then posting on threads cause it takes time for other people to understand or follow along with an idea!! I try not to cheat too much but I do edit certain talents that deserve better stats or population is too high. Also depends what era you are playing in and TV networks you might be working on. For example in 2021 I don't think Roman should be in the 70's population cause he's only been wrestling for 10 years. I know with USA network and Fox can help rise the population. Even the talents for the attitude era should have drop in population depending on any real life heat or haven't been seen on tv. In the 98 mod certain talents should possible pretty high but The Giant and Goldberg are tricky for me. Yea they were a hit but they are still new and learning. Truthfully this game is a hit and miss depending on so many factors at this point!!

lol true but I just did a drug test and most major talent went to rehab. So it's getting closer to it.! I was always curious if Jericho or Storm would've sign with TNA in 2006. Also I thought about what if Christian automatically join Team Canada instead of a babyface in 2005. It's still work in progress. I'm trying to have enough of the talents that TNA actually used on TV and PPV while use jobbers or whatever to keep certain talents momentum going to.

I forgot about if the company does bad loses deal but normally they change time slot. It also depends on if your popularity comes into play too. I've try to play in this era one time but adjusted a lot of wwe popularity cause roman shouldn't be higher in the 70's considering he's only been around 10 years. But being on WWE shows does help but to me he's like in the 60's or something. True networks wouldn't do more then 5 years. If its your own network then I guess it's unlimited. The time slot deal would be intriguing but I think the older version or EWR offered that at one point. Make it something just have to work around or be more specific on what time slot is actually is. I also remember catching impact during the week like after school on Fox Sports net which was interesting.

I'm not sure if anyone has brought this up yet. I'm sure I've thought about this many times but as I was re watching old wrestling and current product. What if the game actually had a time instead of saying this is late night or prime TV. I think it would make things easier like WWE & WCW old B shows showing exactly at 7:00 pm. TNA start at 9:00pm & ECW was showing what like at midnight or 1:00 am. This would be interesting especially for certain networks showing wrestling and depending on the level the company is on as well. I'm sure networks like NBC or CBS or ABC or FOX would have any wrestling show on their network but if they are big then I'm sure it's possible for a deal like WWE and FOX work out. I think if you have like 5 or 10 top talents that's pretty popular then that should help with the discussion of any network. If you don't have all the requirements but you could get like a trial bases like Impact moving to prime time with with SpikeTV at 8 pm on Monday. If things don't workout you have an option to go back to where you were without any issues. One last thing would be a possible longer contract then 5 years. That way depending on what era you are in and any edits you may do. At least you know WWE would be on USA Network for a longtime just in case the company falls apart the AI wont lose their deal. Just some thoughts!!

Yes exactly!! After 2 weeks ovw cut ties with wwe before wwe did it in real life in 2007. I lost my develop with NWA WS too!! And talent trading with NJPW I'm assuming I'm new in the game and too small to work with NJPW. I know in real life things happen but at least in the game without fully cheating all the time. You should be able to work something out or come up with something before cutting ties all together. I figure Japan or Mexico want to work with almost any USA promotion to help their talent unless the point of the game is too cheat to make fit your narrative since the AI doesn't do a good job. Or controlling every promotion to keep certain in that promotion or something!!

Ok thanks for that idea. I know really anything with that WWE was working with anyone did end up abruptly. That's why I wasn't sure if their was something this game could offer that it doesn't happen so quickly though. If everyone is on the same page and happy then bam company split up with no knowledge. I kind of want an option where you try to make it work if possible instead just ending a relationship so quickly.
