  1. I will probably jump in as TCW as I always do. Play a good 6 months in game time and then probably try a current day real world mod at that time. TCW has always been my favorite going back to when it was HGC. The one thing that always bothered me was Tommy Cornell leaving though. I might play a game where Tommy Cornell returns or something.
  2. I edited the database to bring a lot of old timers out of retirement. Bruce the Giant, Sam Strong, Nemesis, Runaway Train and others. I put them in my LWA (Thunderverse logo stolen for CVerse) and then put some next generation wrestlers related to them and others. I am talking about the Vesseys, Rip Chord, and Jay Chord, The Keith Family, and others.

I am in a few months and already starting to work the old timers out and building in my younger stars.

I lost Alicia Strong to NOTBPW and Sam Strong retired.

Bruce the Giant recently lost the World Title to Jay Chord.

I sent Steve Flash, Runaway Train, Nemesis, and Rip Chord were sent down to be my Trainers at my development company THUNDER. The owner is Brent Hill and Barry Kingman is my Head Booker there.

I am trying to build up Hell's Bouncer along side Skull (Skull DeBones or Vengeance) to eventually take his place as the top menacing Supernatural Wrestler in LWA.

Frankie Perez and Kirk Jameson are feuding with Steven Parker.

Greg Gauge turned on Matthew Keith and his father Sam Keith. He is set to feud with Jay Chord for the title but I think Matthew and Sam will get involved and cost him that shot and extending their feud.

Jay will then go on to feud with Skull for a couple months for the LWA World Title.

  3. I'll try my best with some of these.

Kinda all over the place with some of these but this is actually pretty hard.

I agree it is really hard. You did a good job coming up with what you did though.

  4. I like to use my own companies in the CVerse and bring in free agents and stuff. Anyways the last year doing this is a lot like AEW in the real world for me. With that said who do we think in the CVerse is a good fit to represent each worker in AEW?

I am trying to come up with as many of these as I can and really struggling to fit someone in for them really.

  5. <p>I would like to see CGC bought by USPW and become their development company.</p><p> </p><p>

TCW would be great rebuilt in the image of a real world AEW. Maybe some rebranding as Total Wrestling (I love that logo). They are a strong performance based product and #2 in America while working with some small global companies.</p><p> </p><p>

SWF I would like to see be taken down by the FBI and drop to a lowly cult company under new ownership. Maybe a youth movement with some smaller stars than normal. The history around this promotion I don't want to see lost honestly so trying to rebuild the company around some new philosophies might be a lot of fun.</p><p> </p><p>

Swoop McCarthy coming to America for SWF or TCW would be preferred by me.</p>

  6. I'm heading back to the Cornellverse once more, I just enjoy it more than the real world mods! But this time, I decided to do things a bit different than I have before.

I created a new Cult company, using my usual self-created company name, 5 Star Wrestling. It's depicted as early years Ring of Honor (ish). To go a step further and adding some Japan touch to it, 5SW is treated as a legit sports business. UFC, eat your heart out.

Both singles and tag matches are set by company rankings for both divisions. Every match matters, every win and loss matters! You beat the man or team, you keep your spot in the rankings, or you take their spot higher up in the rankings. You want a title shot? You get to the top of the rankings!

First step in my game was completing a 16 man tournament to crown the inaugural 5SW World Heavyweight Champion. That honor went to Roger Cage, one of my favorite wrestlers because of his solid in-ring skills and excellent entertainment qualities.

And what's better than a 16 Man Tournament? A 16 Tag Team Tournament! That's right, I'm in the midst of crowning my inaugural tag champs. Most likely, the first ever champs will be The Occult (Kill Switch & Hell's Bouncer). They have positive chemistry, and they're a fun combo, so it's a nice way to start the division.

That sounds like a fun game.

I too am about to go back to the Cornellverse.

    ================================

Going to play a game with my 4yo son who loves big wrestlers. His favorite wrestler is Andre the Giant because nobody is bigger than him. Others are Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar to give you an idea.

Anyways we are going to each have our own company. His is going to be popularity over performance. Going to unretire guys like Bruce the Giant, Marat Khoklov, Sam Strong, Dread, and Nemesis. Going to put a lot of legends in it. Then put a lot of the legends relatives and then a lot of big men.

Should be fun to see how his promotion ends up shaking out. I wonder what new stars will be made. I have a feeling Bruce the Giant is going to win a lot of cage matches in his promotion.

    ================================

My promotion is going to be called Alternative Pro Wrestling and be performance over popularity. Going to be a more modern style product and going to just have fun booking how I enjoy booking.

  7. It would certainly seem that way. If the game was set up to sometimes have a wrestler re-injure themselves. That would defiantly be the case. Speaking of which, how annoying could that potentially be? You have a big star get hurt, then they come back. Then a match or two back, they re-injure themselves. That might be a bad addition if they did it.

I actually think that would be cool if you had the option to rush some people back from injury. Say you don't have enough star power with your top guy out hurt. You are losing your war with your competitors and need to get the guy back ASAP! You bring him back only for him to re injure himself. That would make for some interesting things in the game.

  8. I was going to start a game in the 80s as WWF or WCW but I'd like to get years down the road but don't have the time to book a lot. What's the best way to work around a busy schedule and get the most out of TEW? I was thinking maybe just an hour main show and a ppv every month. Or just book PPVs. Maybe 2 ppvs a month and that's it. Any one have any thoughts or suggestions? Any option you like better?

Use the autobooking feature when you get to regular shows and just book your big PPV events.

  9. I’m playing WCW in 1995 I’m in December. I signed Bryan Clark with the plan of him and Adams being in the tag division until I decided to name him Storm and push him to the moon as a monster heel. Will it work? Maybe not but he’s gonna beat everyone and beat Hogan for the belt so what’s the worst that could happen

It could work in game for sure. In real life maybe it could have worked if it was booked to make sense.

Brian Adams and Bryan Clark were both good big guys. They had a lot of good qualities.

  10. I like the new features in the last few posts. The boredom of fans feature sounds good. Sounds like it would reflect WWE fans lately with the product.

I like that the road agent will tell you the stamina and stuff of the workers involved in the match. I hate trying to remember the specifics on if a guy can work long matches or not.

Adam is doing a good job of making the game much more polished. All of these smaller things certainly add up to a better experience for sure.

Example is RAW (Revolution Australian Wrestling). They are owned by the Broadcaster "The A.S.N."</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yes it does exist like that however you can't assign people to be part of that media group can you?</p><p> </p><p> So for example say I want to play WCW 2001 and want a group of wrestlers to buy WCW. The only way is to make everyone loyal to the company but that doesn't simulate what I actually want. What if I want a group of say Hogan, Sting, Flair, and Randy Savage to buy it? How would I do that without the loyalty?</p>
