1. My favorite wrestling memory of all time was Hulk Hogan turning heel and dropping the leg on the Macho Man. At the time, I was one of those young marks that was a die hard Hogan fan. And this was pre mainstream internet spoilers. I didn't come from a rich family so I almost never watched a ppv. I always had to get caught up on Monday. But, one of my dads friends was watching it and I got my dad to drop me off over there to watch it. Seeing Hogan come down, I was convinced that he was going to take down Hall and Nash. When he dropped the leg on Macho Man, everyone over there went crazy. They didn't like Hogan and were all loving throwing it into my face that my "hero" just turned on "me". And that is what it felt like at the time. He turned on me personally. I had always been more into the bad guys in wrestling with exceptions like Hogan. So, after I got over the shock, I realized it was the best thing ever. This is definitely my favorite moment of all time. The most I've ever felt watching wrestling.

Currently all renders are jpeg's with every worker having a generic blue background.

Just like in real life, its easier to watch something if you don't have to pay for it and can just turn to a channel. However, as opposed to PPV, you will earn money much slower. If you are starting with a small company you have to decide what is going to be your priority: Fast popularity gain vs. fast money gain.

  4.
Is there a way or an option in the menu around fighters not signing an exclusive deal they "signed a contract with another company under six months ago"?

I try not to change options to much that way its the most realistic as possible but this being in the game is very unrealistic. No one is going to say "No UFC, I'm not going to sign with you because I just signed a per fight contract with Tom's Backyard Attractions.

  5. ZaName Name Database

Hello. I am uploading ZaName's database made by Zaphenomenalone. This will allow fighters to be made from every region of the game. I'm uploading two separate files. The first is the Default database + ZaNames so you can copy over your Default database and start playing. The second is the Database itself. Its split into 4 separate databases. This is done because the database is too big for the game to read all at once and if you want to upload it to a preexisting database then you have to do it in chunks.

  6.
The names are all the same. Stats and ages are changed. I am uploading one either tonight or tomorrow that will have all new names. Had to wait for thr full release to do that the easy way as you would have to Sim till they are retired and recreated. That that will be version 2.0.

I will fix the other promotion that are open. After I fixed the upload I seemed to have uploaded a database I was using to fix issues with the mod. Thank you for pointing that out.

I don't know not know how to tag each individual part of your response (gotta step my game up).

Fighters stats- every single fighter has unique stats. I didn't lower any stats but instead completely redid all the stats to make these fighters actually fit the beginning of mma. I did this by making thousands of fighters (doing the populate fighter option). Every fighter would be someone you'd expect to be on ufc 1-10 basically. So mostly one dimensional fighters.

Ages- all fighters either have debuted or will debut during the first year and will be between the ages of 18-38.

+ option- the game comes with 800+ unused renders. This is to fill the game world out as it evolves. I took all those renders and added them to the game already. I made the female atomweight and strawweight female divisions and the men's flyweight. Every fighter has a render. And it's not 100 and 200 more in each division. That's total. So more then 1800 male fighters and 500 female fighters total.

  8. Alpha and Omega

The full release of WMMA5 is upon us. Before every game I like to mod the database to go back to the beginning of MMA (or at least as early as I got into it which was UFC 1 in 1993). Seeing as there was some interest in a similar mod I decided to release my tinkering to the public. Any and all feedback (especially critical) is welcome and if there is interest I will try to improve this over time. Here is a list of changes:

All fighters, company and belt records are wiped.

All fighter bio's have been wiped and changed to organic (companies don't have organic bio's it seem so their information is unchanged.)

All fighters stats have been changed to better simulate the start of the MMA world.

All fighters ages have been changed to better simulate a world starting in 1993.

Only one company is currently active (a new company called KUMITE with and open weight class) with all others starting out as random.

    Alpha and Omega +

In addition, there is a second database called Alpha and Omega + which has a few additional changes:

All free pictures are removed and used to make new fighters.

Each weight class 100+(Women's Atomweight-Featherweight) or 200+ (Men's Flyweight-Super Heavyweight) fighters in them.

Some fighters have been moved to different weight classes to make this possible.

Let me know what you think and if you see any changes you think would improve either or both of these.

    Updated 2/2/2018

All characters names changed. There was confusing thinking that the default names meant they were the same characters.

+ version new characters have been fixed to regen after they retire.

    Updated 2/3/2018

    Pictures and names fixed

  9. Hello Blackman. Can you tell me which ones are not used in WMMA 5? Can I assume besides Sayoko Ebisawa that all the ones that have names are used and all the ones that don't have actual names are unused or are all of them used besides Sayoko? I want to build the lower weight female divisions and don't want to reuse pics already in the game.
  10.
I'm trying to figure out why the game made a new company (not in the database) when there are still around 50 companies that need to debut.

I'm siming a game that started in 1980 where I changed every workers stats randomly and changed all the companies to brand new starting companies that all open randomly (apart from the three starting companies) . Not even half the companies have debuted yet.
