<p>Half way through writing the next episode of IMPACT, and I have a question I want to throw out there to you guys. In relation to adding more title belts I am of course add a Knockouts division very shortely. But I was wondering if a X-Division Tag Team Title or a X-Division Six Man Tag Team Title would be of interest to you guys? Just as a belt I can use to on regualar episodes of IMPACT as way to build up more X-Divison guys. If you think it might be overkill or a cool idea let us know. <img alt="

|| PREVIOUS SHOWTOTAL NON STOP ACTION Announce Team:Mike Tenay and Don West[VIA SATTELLITE:][To open IMPACT we see Team 3-D standing outside of the Tokyo Dome, Brother Ray and Brother Devon brag about their recent accomplishments here in Japan. However as Brother Ray explains the two of them will be returning to TNA at Against All Odds. Brother Devon puts the challenge out to any two TNA wrestlers that think they can hang with Team 3-D to come answer their open challenge.]GRADE: D-Christian Cage [vs.] KonnanChristian is given another hard challenge before facing Jeff Jarrett at Against All Odds in the form of L.A.X’s Konnan. Konnan was forcing Christian to brawl with him in this match, something normally out of his wheelhouse. However the TNA World Heavyweight champion fought back and after delivering a dropkick or two Christian is able to pin Konnan after a ‘Frog Splash’.Christian Cage defeated Konnan in 12:20 by pinfall with a 'Frog Splash'GRADE: D+[GENERAL MANAGER'S OFFICE:][We cut the IMPACT General Manager Larry Zbszko’s office where Sonjay Dutt is asking for a chance against Samoa Joe. He say’s he would stand a real chance at the ‘Samoan Submission Machine’, this brings to Zbyszko to laughter.][Jeff Jarrett like weeks before barges into Zbyszko’s office, it appears the way to get ahead around here is to barge in the GM’s office on a weekly basis. Jarrett demands that his match with Christian be a No Disqualification match. A dirty wrestler like Jarrett thrives in match with no rules like that.Zbyszko says he can’t just give Jarrett what he want’s that would seem unfair. So instead according to Zbyszko if Jarrett can beat Dutt tonight then Jarrett can pick whatever stipulation he wants at Against All Odds. Dutt asks what he gets if he wins, Jarrett and Zbyszko laugh to themselves.]GRADE: D+Alex Shelley [vs.] Austin Aries [vs.] Chris Sabin [vs.] Jay LethalAn awesome X-Division showcase match here as Sabin, Aries, Lethal and Shelley all flip and dive to try and earn a victory here. Aries was able eliminate Lethal first after hitting a ‘Last Chancery’ followed by a 450 splash by Sabin. Sabin tried to eliminate Aries after the pin but Shelley met both of them with a dropkick. Shelley tried to ‘Piledrive’ Sabin but Aries met him with a ‘Superkick’. Sabin pins Shelley and we are down to two. Aries and Sabin go back and forth but Sabin was able to knock Aries on his back and hit him with a ‘Shooting Star Press’ for the win.Chris Sabin defeated Austin Aries, Jay Lethal and Alex Shelley in 9:44; the order of elimination was Jay Lethal first, then Alex Shelley, and finally Austin AriesGRADE: D[bACKSTAGE:][backstage we see Daniels talking to doctors in the hallway, Daniels is complaining that he’s been suffering neck problems ever since taking a ‘Northern Lariat’ from Bobby Roode. Doctors say he clear to wrestle but will recommend him two weeks away from wrestling for it fully heal. Daniels agrees and they walk off. The camera swings upwards to see none other than Suicide hanging from the rafters. Why oh why is Suicide stalking Daniels.]GRADE: E[iNTERVIEW AREA:][We cut to the interview area where AJ Styles is standing with Shane Douglas. Styles looks motivated and focused here tonight as he amps himself up for the his first round in the King of the Mountain tournament. Douglas asks him if he nervous about facing Samoa Joe in the first round, Joe being undefeated has beaten Styles numerous times before. Style’s says that a bad attitude to have as a wrestler. He say’s somehow someway he will beat Samoa Joe tonight and then Raven is next.]GRADE: E+America's Most Wanted [vs.] Satishu Kojima & Lance HoytAmerica’s Most Wanted are ultra-aggressive in this tag match after suffering back to back singles losses last week in the King of the Mountain Tournament. Hoyt and Kojima are a formable team but Harris and Storm are too much of a well oiled machine. The TNA World Tag Team champs win after hitting Kojima with a ‘Death Sentence’.America's Most Wanted defeated Satoshi Kojima and Lance Hoyt in 6:12 when Chris Harris defeated Satoshi Kojima by pinfall with a 'Death Sentence'GRADE: D[iN-RING:][Gail Kim brings the TNA World Tag Team Titles into the ring to celebrate with James Storm and Chris Harris when the music of the James Gang hits. With microphones in hand it seem likes they are coming to trash talk but as they hit the ring they brawl with Harris and Storm. BG James and Kip throw Storm and Harris out of the ring and pose with the belts.]GRADE: E+[iNTERVIEW AREA:][back in the interview area with stand by with Samoa Joe. Joe holding his TNA X-Division title proudly ignores questions asked by Shane Douglas. Instead he has few words for AJ Styles and the TNA fans, pain and suffering is what any wrestler that steps in Joe way on becoming the World Heavyweight champion.]GRADE: D+Monty Brown, Bobby Roode & Kevin Nash [vs.] Rhino, Ron Killings and RavenSix men who have qualified to the second round of the King of the Mountain tournament get a chance to face off in this six man tag match. Brown and Nash do well for their team but once Roode is tagged in he is met with a ‘Gore’ followed by a ‘Raven Effect’. Roode has broken out in this tournament but faces the embarrassment to be the one pinned in his team.Rhino, Raven and Ron Killings defeated Kevin Nash, Monty Brown and Bobby Roode in 13:33 when Raven defeated Bobby Roode by pinfall with a 'Raven Effect'GRADE: C-[bACKSTAGE PARKING LOT:][We cut to fan footage outside of the arena where Sabu is putting his bags in the trunk of his car. Suddenly the masked mysterious woman from the cemetery last week comes into shot. West says last week it look like the woman was in the process of digging Abyss from his tomb. Here however the mysterious woman and Sabu exchange words. The footage is silent so we can’t make out what they are saying but whatever this woman said it was enough to convince Sabu to follow her.]GRADE: C[bACKSTAGE:][Elsewhere in the arena the former manager of Abyss, Father James Mitchell is standing by with Sting. Mitchell explains why this partnership just made so much sense, with Abyss locked and buried Mitchell needed a new client and who better than the ‘Icon’ Sting. Sting just silently nods in agreeance. So when Sting offered the partnership Mitchell explains he couldn’t pass it up. So now that the two are together the future of TNA just got a little darker. Mitchell wishes all participants in the tournament especially Kevin Nash all the luck in the world. Because according to Mitchell when they face Sting… they are going to need it.]GRADE: C+Jeff Jarrett [vs.] Sonjay DuttAs made by Larry Zbyszko almost as gift to Jarrett if Jarrett can win this match he can pick the stipulation he faces Christian in at Against All Odds. Dutt was gave Jarrett a lot of stiff kicks and beautiful hurracarranas. Jarrett works on the X-Division wrestler’s knee before applying the ‘Figure Four Leglock’ for an easy victory.Jeff Jarrett defeated Sonjay Dutt in 6:42 by submission with a 'Figure-Four Leglock'GRADE: C-[HYPE VIDEO:]GRADE: C+Samoa Joe [vs.] AJ StylesThe crowd is superbly hot for this main event as we witness two of TNA’s brightest put on a clinic. Samoa Joe the X-Division Champion is still undefeated in singles competition here in TNA and the pressure is on him tonight to remain so. To advance in the King of the Mountain tournament Joe will have to beat the ‘Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles, no easy feat. These two have been at war before but this time with a possible World Title shot at stake they bring their A game. No stare down tonight Joe was throwing punches as soon as Styles stepped in the ring. Joe was able dominate the early match with brutal strikes and kicks followed up by bone crushing slams. Styles may be one of the few in-ring genius’s however and despite the strength disadvantage he was able to reach the ropes any time Joe locked in a submission. For the ‘Samoan Submission Machine’ not being able to submit Styles was frustrating him. Joe missed a pele kick to Styles who ran the ropes and hits Joe with a Shining Wizard, Styles can only get a two count however. Seemingly desperate in the later stages of the main event Styles goes to the top rope. Joe back on his feet meets Styles at the top rope, after seconds of headbutts, chops and strikes somehow someway Styles hits Joe with a ‘Styles Clash’ from the second rope. Joe is out….. and for the first time in his TNA career Samoa Joe loses a singles match. They are surrounded by four TNA backstage staff holding four belts covered in a black cloth. Carter lets Zbyszko explain to the fans the news. Zbyszko says its time that TNA break away from the National Wrestling Alliance and from this show moving forward they will be replacing the current championships with new TNA designed belts. Zbyszko and Carter reveal to the fans the brand new TNA World Heavyweight Title, TNA World Tag Team Titles and TNA X-Division Title.][Zbyszko says that he and Carter will present the new championships to the current champions Christian Cage, America’s Most Wanted and Samoa Joe. As they look to end the segment and discuss the King of the Mountain tournament one of the four TNA backstage staff members takes of his black cap and moustache to reveal to be Raven!][Raven drops the TNA World Heavyweight title he was holding and attacks the IMPACT General Manager Zbyszko. the other staff try and separate the two but Raven is able to ‘DDT’ Zbyszko and run into the crowd.]GRADE: C-/CHiroshi Tanahashi [vs.] Shannon MooreTanahashi looks to get momentum back from his loss against Brown at Final Resolution. He outclassed Moore here finishing the punk off with a ‘Sling Blade’.Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Shannon Moore in 6:22 by pinfall with a 'Sling Blade'GRADE: C[iN RING:][Tanahashi has little time to celebrate his victory against Moore as his is blindsided by the TNA X-Division champ Samoa Joe. Why? Because no-one else has the ‘Pouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunce’. Period. Tenay notes that Brown will compete in the first round against Satoshi Kojima representing All Japan.]GRADE: C-AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels [vs.] Sabu & Suicide [vs.] Alex Shelley & Austin AriesThis was an exciting showcase for six X-Division wrestlers and the first time we got an in-ring look at Suicide who was appropriately put with Sabu. Suicide impressed as he opened for his team dominated Shelley and Daniels with quick strikes and brutal backbreakers. However the team of Styles and Daniels was able to pull the win off when Styles hit Suicide with a ‘Frog Splash’.AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels defeated Alex Shelley and Austin Aries and Suicide and Sabu in 7:55 when AJ Styles defeated Suicide by pinfall with a 'Frog Splash'GRADE: C+[bACKSTAGE:][backstage we see the ‘Man Beast’ Rhino standing by a TV showing the brackets for the King of the Mountain tournament. He notices he has Jeff Jarrett in the first round and celebrates to himself. Jeff Hardy walks by and tells Rhino that he’s going to enjoy watching Jarrett pick Rhino apart tonight. Rhino laughs at Hardy before quickly staring him down. He tells Hardy that if by some miracle he makes it to the final he looks forward to hitting him with a ‘Gore’.]GRADE: D-Bobby Roode [vs.] Shark BoyA quick match here as Team Canada’s Bobby Roode schooled Shark Boy in every sense. Naturals put up a competitive match but Douglas was pinned by Homicide after a ‘Border Toss’ from Apollo and a ‘Double Foot Stomp’ by Homicide.Latin American Xchange defeated The Naturals in 7:48 when Homicide defeated Andy Douglas by pinfall with a 'Border Toss & Double Foot Stomp'GRADE: C-[iN RING:][After returning from commercial Sting is standing the six-sided ring with his black baseball bat. He calls for Father James Mitchell to join him in the ring so he explain why he sabotaged the casket match for Abyss and Mitchell.][Mitchell slowly makes his way to the ring still suffering from the ‘Gore’ he got from Rhino at Final Resolution and without his ‘Monster’ Abyss. Sting says to Mitchell that his plan on becoming the World Heavyweight Champion here in TNA could never happen with someone like Abyss on the roster. Sting explains that also remembers the way Mitchel and Abyss have treated other TNA wrestlers and that it was time that Abyss was brought to justice. Mitchell says Sting had no right stepping in his business. Sting puts the bat to Mitchells neck. Sting tells Mitchell that later tonight that the casket will be buried later tonight. So Mitchell is without a client. Sting then drops the bat from Mitchell’s neck and offers him his hand. Sting tells Mitchell to be his manager. Chris Harris and James Storm make their way to the ring with their new TNA World Tag Team belts. Harris and Storm with Gail Kim by their side brag about another successful defence against Team 3-D. Harris and Storm the begin to brag about how either of them could easily win the King of the Mountain tournament.][Their bragging is cut short as the new number one contenders for the tag belts the James Gang rush down to the ring. BG James and Kip James brawl with Harris and Storm before throwing the two of them over the top rope. Kip and BG pose with the new TNA World Tag Team belts.]GRADE: C+Lance Hoyt [vs.] David YoungLance Hoyt faces Kevin Nash next week in the King of the Mountain tournament but tonight he dominates David Young with big boots, running powerslams and a ‘Steel Knee Drop’ to finish the match quick.Lance Hoyt defeated David Young in 3:23 by pinfall with a ‘Steel Knee Drop’GRADE: E[PART'S UNKNOWN CEMETERY:][We cut to grainy footage in a cemetery as the casket we saw from Final Resolution laying at the bottom of a ditch. Brown and Kojima hit hard here tonight as neither can get the other down on their back for a pin. The two heavyweights deliver hearty blows and slams to each other as both would gain so much from with the King of the Mountain. But Brown is able to secure a win and go the next round after hitting Kojima with an ‘Alpha Bomb’.Monty Brown defeated Satoshi Kojima in 7:49 by pinfall with an 'Alpha Bomb'GRADE: C+[VIDEO:][by satellite we catch up with Brother Ray and Brother Devon Team 3-D who just landed in Japan. Ray and Devon tell America’s Most Wanted that they fought well at Final Resolution but when Team 3-D come back from Japan they are taking those new belts. Speaking of new belts they explain why they are in Japan and that’s to capture the IWGP Tag Team titles.]GRADE: DKING OF THE MOUNTAIN FIRST ROUNDJeff Hardy [vs.] Ron 'The Truth' KillingsThe second match of the King of the Mountain tournament saw Killings and Hardy fight in a fast paced contest. Killings was taken to the outside and Hardy tried to crash Killings into the ring steps but instead sends himself into them when Killings steps aside. Killings brings Hardy back into the ring and finishes it with a ‘Truth or Consequences’.Ron Killings defeated Jeff Hardy in 5:48 by pinfall with a 'Truth or Consequences'GRADE: C[GENERAL MANAGERS OFFICE:][We go to Zbyszko’s office now as Jeff Jarrett is pleading with him to change the brackets of the King of the Mountain tournament. He asks why he was given Rhino in the first round, Zbyszko tries to explain the tournament was picked at random but the paranoid former world champion isn’t listening. Zbyszko explains he can’t change the brackets now and that he faces Rhino next! Jarrett furiously storms off from general managers office.]GRADE: DKING OF THE MOUNTAIN FIRST ROUNDJeff Jarrett [vs.] RhinoThe main event was hot tonight as TNA fans were anticipating Rhino to tear Jeff Jarrett apart. However despite coming of losing his World Heavyweight title Jarrett was game. Jarrett is a veteran of the business wrestling since the early 80s and uses his wisdom tonight to take down Rhino numerous times in this match. However the power of the ‘Man Beast’ can’t be matched as Rhino throws Jarrett around the ring. Jarrett clawed himself up from the ropes and was met with a ‘Gore’. West begins to mention the X-Division title match later tonight when we hear the voice of Austin Aries. Aries makes his way down to the ring cutting off Tenay and West, he begins to brag about he latest victories on IMPACT and Xplosion. He says tonight will be the start of the era of Aries when he defeats TNA’s golden goose AJ Styles.]GRADE: D-Austin Aries [vs.] AJ StylesAn awesome way to kick of the PPV as Styles takes on a future star in Aries. Styles dominates the majority of the match thanks to his experience, speed and technical ability but to shock of the fans and Styles, Aries does hold his own. A notable moment in the match is Aries hitting three suicide dives in a row to Styles. But by the end of the match Styles was able counter Aries attempt at a ‘Fire-man’s Carry’ and turned it into a ‘Styles Clash’.AJ Styles defeated Austin Aries in 14:42 by pinfall with a 'Styles Clash'GRADE: B-[iN RING:][After the match Styles offers the braggadocios Aries a hand up, Aries accepts the hand up and the two exchange words. It seems despite losing to Styles Aries has certainly impressed the ‘Phenomenal One’. But Styles gained the win tonight and looks to move on to either Samoa Joe or Christopher Daniels for the X-Division title.]THE ARENA FALLS INTO DARKNESS[West and Tenay are confused as the lights come back on in the arena to see Styles and Aries laid down flat in the six sided ring. In between a man stands in a strange and twisted looking mask and body suit. On his chest it reads… ‘Suicide’…. The mysterious man makes a gun with his hand and points it at his head. The arena once again falls into darkness and moments later the lights are back on and the man is gone.]GRADE: D-3 Live Kru (Kip James, BG James & Ron Killings) [vs.] Latin American Xchange (Apollo, Homicide & Konnan)The winners of the match get a title shot at their choosing as Killings and Homicide clash. L.A.X were awesome in this match keeping the veterans BG James and Kip James separated from Ron Killings. BG James struggled to find his footing in this match as Konnan ordered Apollo and Homicide to slowly take him apart. Homicide was told by Konnan to go to the top rope and finish BG James with a ‘Frog Splash’ but BG James got his knees up giving their team a shot again. Killings was tagged in hot and cleared the ring Apollo and Konnan. Killings hit Homicide with a ‘Hang Time’ to end the match.3 Live Kru (B.G. James, Ron Killings and Kip James) defeated Latin American Xchange (Konnan, Apollo and Homicide) in 10:20 when Ron Killings defeated Homicide by pinfall with a 'Hang Time'GRADE: C-Casket MatchRhino [vs.] Abyss w/Father James MitchellThere was a lot of tension between these two as Father James Mitchell screams that tonight is the last night we will see Rhino. Abyss was methodical as he took his time taking Rhino apart, to win a casket match you have to lock your opponent in the casket that sits at the top of the ramp. With that been said these two will have to tear each other apart more than usual to win this match. Rhino put up a fight against the larger Abyss, this is something we have come to get used to with Rhino sheer courage. Abyss was able to hit Rhino with a gorilla press into a flapjack, a big boot and even the ‘Shock Treatment’ but Rhino still could get back to his feet. The two rivals were almost drawn to the casket that stood at the top of the ramp as they made their way up there. Rhino was able to push Abyss into the steel barricade and then turns his attention to Father James Mitchell. James Mitchell is such a key element to Abyss’s success here in TNA that it warranted Rhino to charge him and hit a ‘Gore’. ‘Gore Gore Gore’ screamed Tenay, Abyss though is back to his feet and in a fury bludgeons Rhino with fists and kicks to Rhinos back. Abyss drags Rhino to the top of the ramp, once at the top Abyss spikes Rhino right into the led stage equipment. Abyss turns to the camera and holds up an X as the camera looks back down at Rhino he is a bloody mess. Abyss looks at the casket and back at Rhino, the monster is looking to finish this.‘THE ICON’ STING IS HERE AND THE BAT IS FACED AT ‘THE MONSTER’ ABYSSSting and Abyss stare down as the ‘Monster’ is in disbelief, what score has Sting got to settle with Abyss? Abyss drops Rhino and charges at Sting but is met with the black baseball bat. Sting puts a beating down with the bat on Abyss. Rhino starts to get back to his feet and himself is shocked to see the ‘Stinger’. Sting picks up the body of Abyss and places him in the casket, he tells Rhino to come and finish this. Rhino does so and with Abyss in the casket and the lid closed the match is over.Rhino defeated Abyss in a Casket match in 19:43 when Abyss was trappedGRADE: C[iN RING:][Rhino still stands bloody and confused as the referee raises his hand, Sting does not take his eye off the casket. Rhino leaves through the curtain leaving Sting and Abyss out cold in a casket. Down ringside Father James Mitchell begins to stand and recover from the ‘Gore’ he had received earlier, once he see Stings standing next to the casket and Rhino’s music playing it begins to set in. Sting pulls out…. Lighter fluid and a lighter…… he squirts the casket with the lighter fluid and throws the lighter onto the casket setting it alight. Sting faces his bat at Father James Mitchell as the casket with the ‘Monster’ Abyss in it burns an unholy light.]GRADE: C-Monty Brown [vs.] Hiroshi TanahashiBrown was seemingly surprised as Tanahashi brought fight to him in this match. Tanahashi who is classified as a X-Division wrestler couldn’t use size to win against Brown but he also struggled to be faster than Brown. Brown the former NFL line-backer is a scary quick Heavyweight and it shows as hits Tanahashi with the dreaded ‘POUNNNNNNCEEEEE’.Monty Brown defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi in 8:12 by pinfall with a 'Pounce'GRADE: C+NWA World Tag Team ChampionshipAmerica's Most Wanted (Chris Harris & James Storm) [vs.] Team 3-D (Brother Ray & Brother Devon)The fans are chanting ‘3D’ as Team 3-D choose Brother Ray to start the match for the team. America’s Most Wanted pick James Storm to start for their team. AMW have held the NWA World Tag Team Titles for almost five months and look to defend once again against one of the worlds best team in Ray and Brother Devon. Storm and Chris Harris do a great job in hitting double team moves on Ray. Harris and Storm try a double suplex but Ray is able to escape out of it, he makes the hot tag to Devon. Devon is in a craze tonight as hit shoulder blocks Harris then sidewalk slams Storm. Devon picks his Brother up and the two hit the ‘Dudley Death Drop’ on Storm. But the legal man Harris is able to big boot Ray out of the ring. In the later moments Harris and Devon are going hold for hold when Storm gets back to his feet and helps his partner, Ray tries to get back into the ring to help his partner but Gail Kim holds his leg from under the ring. Harris and Storm finish Devon off with the ‘Death Sentence’ to win the match.America's Most Wanted defeated Team 3D in 18:50 when Chris Harris defeated Brother Devon by pinfall with a 'Death Sentence. During the match we also had Gail Kim run in and attack Ray. We can hear Zbyszko screaming that he wants Raven out of TNA. Raven continues to try and kick the door down as Team Canada rush him knocking Raven down. Roode and A-1 under order by Scott D’Amore pick up Raven to his feet as Petey Williams hits Raven with a ‘Superkick’. Zbyszko unlocks the door and exits his office ordering D’Amore and Team Canada to get rid of this loser. Team Canada oblige him and carry Raven out of the arena.]GRADE: D-TNA X-Division ChampionshipChristopher Daniels [vs.] Samoa Joe ©The semi-main event is for the TNA X-Division Title, the champion Samoa Joe looks eager to get his hands on the challenger Christopher Daniels as the bell rings. Daniels was hot and quick to start the match not letting Joe get a clean grip on him. The strategy seemingly worked for the first three minutes of the match but a ‘Samoan Drop’ out of no-where brought the pace down. Daniels was able to hit some big offence with a dropkick and numerous chops in the corner but Joe quickly scoops Daniels up and slams him hard in the ring. Only getting a 2-count after the slam Joe pushes Daniels onto the apron, both men now out on the apron Joe delivers another slam to Daniels but this time on apron. Daniels struggling to stand up straight after that move gets back into the ring where Joe is waiting for him who hits Daniels with an ‘Island Driver’ to take the last gasp out of Daniels.Samoa Joe defeated Christopher Daniels in 15:17 by pinfall with an 'Island Driver'. Samoa Joe makes defence number 4 of his TNA X-Division titleGRADE: C+NWA World Heavyweight ChampionshipChristopher Daniels [vs.] Samoa Joe ©Christian Cage and Jeff Jarrett refuse to lose sight of each other as the highly anticipated main event starts. Cage only a few nights ago lost by shenanigans to Jarrett’s hired gun Jeff Hardy, the loss may still be playing on Cage’s mind as Jarrett gains the early advantage. Cage has been trying to tear down Planet Jarrett and taking the World Heavyweight belt away from Jarrett is a good start to doing so. With Gail Kim screaming orders from the outside of the ring Jarrett brings the pain to Cage with suplex followed by lariats followed by backbreakers. Jarrett wants to not just win but humiliate ‘Captain Charisma’. Cage eventually brings the fight back to Jarrett with chops and suplexes of his own. Cage brought a new energy to this match as he escapes a ‘Figure Four’ attempt and hits Jarrett with not one but two ‘Frog Splash’s. Jarrett tried almost everything but Cage was a different man tonight. Cage pins Jarrett for the win and the World Title.Final Resolution ends with Christian hold the NWA World Heavyweight title over his head as Jarrett lays out on the outside of the ring.Christian Cage defeated Jeff Jarrett in 29:42 by pinfall with a 'Frog Splash'. Cage makes his announcement that he will face Jeff Jarrett at Final Resolution for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. IMPACT GM Zbyszko gave him the news backstage and warns Jarrett that Final Resolution will be the final time he will ever hold gold again. Jeff Jarret promptly makes his way to the ring with Gail Kim and the World title in tow. Jarrett says that he will deal with Christian at Final Resolution but as for tonight Zbyszko gave him the ability to hand pick an opponent for Christian. Jarrett warns that Christian is about to face a ghost from his past.]GRADE: DNon TitleSamoa Joe [vs.] Jay LethalSamoa Joe has been undefeated since making his TNA debut and makes quick work of the X-Division rookie Jay Lethal. Lethal had a few moments of hope but a ‘Muscle Buster’ ended that.Samoe Joe defeated Jay Lethal with the 'Muscle Buster' at 7:30GRADE: D[iN-RING:][Post-match the TNA X-Division Champion Samoa Joe continues a beat down onto Jay Lethal despite the referee trying to separate the two.][Christopher Daniels runs down to the ring with steel chair in hand and scares Joe away from Lethal. Roode hypes his match with NJPW sensation Hiroshi Tanahashi. Roode exclaims that Tanahashi may be ‘hotshit’ over in Japan but in the big leagues in North America Bobby Roode is the one to watch.]GRADE: DAJ Styles [vs.] Sabu [vs.] Kenny King [vs.] Jerry LynnAJ Styles, Kenny King, Sabu and Jerry Lynn all brought a unique X-division flavour in this fatal four way match. Sabu and Lynn tried to work together in the later stages of the match but AJ Styles was able to separate the two and finish Sabu off with a ‘Styles Clash’. Despite his loss to Christopher Daniels last week Styles proves he is still one of the X-Divisions best.AJ Styles defeated Kenny King, Sabu and Jerry Lynn with the 'Styles Clash' at 5:50GRADE: C-[iNTERVIEW AREA:][in the interview area we see Jeremy Borash standing with the ‘Man Beast’ Rhino. Rhino is no mood to mess around and quickly accepts the challenge made by Father James Mitchel and Abyss last week. He looks forward to putting Abyss in a casket.]GRADE: E+Monty Brown [vs.] RavenAnother match made by the IMPACT General Manager Larry Zbyszko to put Raven to the test. Monty Brown dominated most of the match but it ended in controversial fashion as Raven fails to make the 10 count after being hit with a ‘Pounce’ outside of the ring.Monty Brown defeated Raven by countout at 5:25GRADE: C-America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) and Gail Kim [vs.] Team 3-D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) and TraciAmerica’s Most Wanted and Gail Kim separate Traci early on in this match and it paid of for them. Sting has few words but says its only time before he becomes the World Heavyweight champion here in TNA but before he does that… he has a score to settle.]GRADE: BAustin Aries [vs.] Elix SkipperFast pace action here as Elix Skipper takes on a recent signee to TNA Austin Aries. Aries shines in this match taking the X-Division vet to his limits. Aries pulls off a new move called ‘Last Chancery’ to finish Skipper off in quick fashion.Austin Aries defeated Elix Skipper with a 'Last Chancery' at 3:41GRADE: D[iN RING:][After his impressive victory Aries grabs a microphone. Aries tells fans that he come to TNA for one title and that is the X-Division title. To win it he wants to challenge one of TNA’s best. Aries tells fans that at the start of Final Resolution he will wait in the ring for AJ Styles to challenge him.]GRADE: DHiroshi Tanahashi [vs.] Bobby RoodeTanahashi and Roode pull a barn burner here with the two young stars pulling nearly every move from their playbook. Roode shines in this match however is caught out of nowhere with a ‘Sling Blade’ and loses to one of Japan’s finest.Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Bobby Roode with the 'Sling Blade' at 8:09GRADE: C-[bACKSTAGE:][backstage now we see Christian Cage standing alongside Ron Killings, BG James and Kip James. Killings thanks Cage for helping him out last week against Planet Jarrett and tells him that if Jarrett tries to pull some sort of stunt with this mystery opponent thing that 3 Live Kru are here for him. Cage thanks Killings for the offer but prefers to face whoever Jarrett gives him tonight by himself.]GRADE: D[iN RING:][We return from commercial as Christian Cage waits inside the ring for Jeff Jarrett to come out and announce his opponent. Christian paces back and forth in the ring as he waits for Jarret’s music to hit. Jarret’s music hits and walks out cockily with microphone in hand. Jarrett says he hopes Christian saves enough energy for their title match at Final Resolution but he may find it challenging with the opponent picked for him. Jarrett exclaims to the IMPACT Zone that the man he picked for Christian has had his limited moments in TNA so far but is for sure a future Heavyweight champion and possible Hall of Famer.]“Let me ask you something Christian, do you remember this man?” – Jeff Jarrett[Cage stands in shock as the one and only Jeff Hardy makes his return to TNA and as a hired gun by Jeff Jarrett. Hardy slowly makes his way to the ring making sure to shake the hand of the NWA Heavyweight Champion Double J. Tenay makes the observation that this out of character for the youngest Hardy brother. Reality sets in for Christian and the fans as Hardy enters the ring and poses in the corners of the six sided ring.]GRADE: DChristian Cage [vs.] Jeff HardyChristian Cage and Jeff Hardy have faced numerous of times before but rarely in singles competition. Christian gains the early advantage but the ever chaotic Hardy was able to keep Christian on his toes. Hardy seemed different than we have seen him before, hitting aggressive strikes while Christian is stuck in the corner or trapping Christian within the ropes.This match felt like a main event from a PPV, the fans in the IMPACT Zone were hot as the two fought outside the ring. Christian tries to clothesline Hardy over the fan barricade but Hardy dodges in time for Christian to throw himself into the steel barricade. Hardy takes advantage and shoves Christian into the announcers table. As we come back from commercial Cage is laying face down on the announcers table and from the top rope Hardy stares down. Normally Hardy would look for the fans to cheer him on but Hardy dives on his own accord. Hardy hits a ‘Swanton Bomb’ crashing both of them through the announcers table.Hardy is able to get Cage back into the ring and goes for the cover but Cage somehow kicks out. Both men get back to their feet and Cage tries for the ‘Kill Switch’! But Hardy pushes Cage forward knocking down the referee giving Hardy enough time to low blow the number one contender. After a low blow Hardy hits a second ‘Swanton Bomb’ for the cover and the win. The show ended with Hardy standing over Cage…. But to kick us off we have an X-division number one contenders match between the 'Phenomanal' AJ Styles and the 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels.[bACKSTAGE INTERVIEW][iMPACT kicks off with Jeremy Borash the lead interviewer for TNA standing backstage with Father James Mitchell and his monster Abyss. Mitchell doesn’t give Borash the time of day and grabs the microphone from him. Mitchell expresses his insincere concern for Rhino’s safety. He questions why the former ECW Heavyweight champion would dare insult the monster Abyss to challenging him to a regular match at Final Resolution. Mitchell offers an alternative to Rhino’s proposal. He offers to end the three month war with a Casket Match at Final Resolution. Abyss growls at the camera and throws up the X. Will Rhino accept this deadly challenge?]GRADE: D+Don West:I have to wonder what the 'Man Beast' Rhino must be thinking, a Casket Match with Abyss is no easy challenge.Mike Tenay:You’re not wrong there Don, but remember what Abyss and Father James Mitchell have put Rhino through the past few months, I'm sure Rhino would love to end it at Final Resolution.Winner Faces Samoa Joe at Final Resolution for the TNA X-Division TitleAJ Styles [vs.] Christopher DanielsStyles and Daniels were both ready to fight for their lives tonight just for a shot at Samoa Joe and his X-Division title. Joe has run rough shot through the X-Division ever since arriving in TNA, both Styles and Daniels have fell victim and would love a shot at redemption. The match starts to close call, both men reversing holds and struggling to keep each other grounded. Styles was able to hit a stunning ‘Pele Kick’ to Daniels then pushing his opponent to outside of the six sided ring. Styles feeds of the energy from the IMPACT Zone and runs the ropes to hit a suicide dive to Daniels.With a time limit of 15 minutes to every sanctioned TNA match both competitors were anxious to finish the match at the 14 minute mark. Styles was able to get Daniels into a position where he could possible go for the ‘Styles Clash’ but Daniels was able to scout it and hit a ‘Hurricanrana’. Daniels runs the ropes and hits a ‘Running forearm’ to the back of Styles neck, the hits a spinning DDT. With Styles floored Daniels hits the ‘Best Moonsault Ever’ and finishes the electric X-Division contest.Christopher Daniels defeated AJ Styles with the 'Best Moonsault Ever' at 14:40GRADE: C-Mike Tenay:There go Don we can expect to see Samoa Joe defend his title against the 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels.Don West:What a hot contest we just witnessed Mike, AJ Styles has nothing to be ashamed about with his performance tonight.[iN-RING:][We return from commercial break to see the 'Fallen Angel' still inside the ring. Mic in hand he claims that at Final Resolution he his going to get the chance to do what no man in the X-Division were able to do. And that's beat Samoa Joe.]GRADE: DDon West:You gotta love Daniel's confidence here Mike but I wonder if its unwarranted. Samoa Joe is no easy challenge for anyone.Mike Tenay:Yeah I worry for annoy that steps up to Samoa Joe but Christopher Daniels has the wrestling ability and experience to pull it off.Handicap MatchRaven [vs.] Team Canada (A1 & Petey Williams)Under General Manager Larry Zbyszko’s orders Raven must face two members of Team Canada. Raven has been nothing but a thorn in the GM’s side so A1 and Petey Williams have been ordered to get Raven out of TNA tonight. Raven starts the match with Williams and dominates the X-Division wrestler early on, however with A1 blindsiding Raven while Williams distracts the referee the momentum switches to Team Canada.Williams and the super athletic A1 double team Raven for many minutes till Raven is able to kick and punch his way out of Williams grasp. He DDT’s A1 and throws Williams out of the ring. Raven pins A1 for a well-deserved win.Raven defeated Team Canada (Petey Williams and A1) with a ‘DDT’ at 10:20.GRADE: DDon West:It's gonna be a long road ahead for GM Zbyszko to get rid of Raven.Mike Tenay:You ain't kidding, Team Canada coming up short here tonight.[X-DIVISION LOCKER ROOM][backstage now we see Samoa Joe back faced to the camera stretching in the X-Division locker room. The rookie Roderick Strong makes his way into frame and over-confidently says that Daniels will while the floor with Joe at Final Resolution.We hear Joe laugh but continues to stretch, Strong furthers his point by saying that anyone can a fluke winning streak and he wishes it was him to end it. Joe finally turns around attacks the rookie... punching Strong down and throwing him into the locker. We hear other wrestlers call for help but its too late as Joe runs and stomps his foot into the locker where the head of Strong lays. Joe walks out of the locker and frame as referees and TNA staff rush to Strong’s aid.]GRADE: D-Mike Tenay:What a disgusting attack by Samoa Joe there was no need for that!!Don West:Are you kidding me Tenay? That idiot Strong was mocking the champ.Monty Brown [vs.] Lance HoytThis match starts with both Monty Brown and Lance Hoyt running full steam into one another with neither falling down. This is the theme of the match as neither Hoyt or Brown gain an advantage. This in until Brown is able hit a ‘Snap Powerslam’ onto the giant Hoyt and follows it up with a ‘Pounce’.Monty Brown defeated Lance Hoyt with a ‘Pounce’ at 6:16.GRADE: D+Mike Tenay:Awesome victory for Monty Brown here Don.Don West:Great win for the young man, it'll be interesting to see how far in TNA Monty Brown can go.[bACKSTAGE]Backstage now we see the ‘Instant Classic’ Christian Cage. Cage gets to the point and reveals his frustrations with the founder of the company being the current NWA World Heavyweight champion. He calls Jarrett a disgrace to TNA and dares Jarrett to face him without his Planet Jarrett goons behind him.GRADE: C-Mike Tenay:Jeff Jarrett has got to be backstage somewhere hopeing that match does not happen with Christian Cage.Don West:I'd be interested to see what a match between the two without Planet Jarrett goons would look like Mike.[bACKSTAGE:][somewhere else backstage we see Konnan with his two newly acquired students Homicide and Apollo. Konnan takes his time to spell everything wrong with former alliance with Ron Killings and BG James. He argues that Killings is barely a midcarder yet he looks forward too seeing Killings get embarrassed in tonight’s main event. Homicide hypes Apollo and in Spanish warns America’s Most Wanted not to get to comfortable with the NWA World Tag Team titles. L.A.X has many enemies says Konnan but one by one they will be eliminated.]GRADE: DDon West:God help the team L.A.X face next.Mike Tenay:They have been picked by many as future tag team champions in this company.http://i.imgur.com/WD9WPVc.jpgNon Title MatchTeam 3-D (Brother Ray & Brother Devon) [vs.] America's Most Wanted (James Storm & Chris Harris) ©Brother Ray and Brother Devon known as Team 3D may be one of the greatest tag teams on the planet but tonight they had their work cut out for them as they face the NWA World Tag Team Champions James Storm and Chris Harris. The ‘Wildcat’ Chris Harris and Brother Devon start the match.Harris gives Devon a run for his money as the younger and stronger wrestler relentlessly throws Devon around the six sided ring. A concerned Brother Ray calls for his brother to tag him in but Harris makes sure to keep Devon in their corner. Storm now tagged in kicks Devon with a flurry of boots but the tag team veteran keeps fighting to stay up.By the 11th minute of the match both teams have had everyone tagged in and fighting at one point. Storm and Devon are face down and Ray and Harris both barely are able to call for a tag. Harris calls the referee over maybe in hopes that Storm will cheat and lay the final blow to Devon but instead the illegal man Ray grabs a steel chair and throws it in the ring. Harris tries to inform the referee of said chair but its too late as Devon swings the chair at Storm…..But Storm ducks and the steel chair cracks the back of the referee…..The bell rings as ring-side referees call for a double disqualification.Team 3-D drew with Americas Most Wanted at 13:59.GRADE: C-Mike Tenay:You have to assume Ray regrets introducing that steel chair to match.Don West:If he didn't Team 3-D might of have had a chance in the match.[iN-RING:][brother Ray and Chris Harris run into the ring and begin to brawl, Devon tries to attend to the fallen referee but Storm hits him with a ‘Superkick’. Harris and Ray are separated by officials and lockeroom members. The fans in the arena seem right behind Ron Killings as he covers Jarrett.Jarrett kicks out and begins to build pace behind him in this match. Jarrett focusing on the knees of Killings is able to make the younger wrestler struggle to keep his fast paced style. Jarrett with a running shoulder to the back of Killings leg is able to get Killings in position for a ‘Figure Four Leg Lock’. Killings taps.Jeff Jarrett defeated Ron Killings with a ‘Figure Four Leg Lock’ at 13:46.GRADE: C-Don West:What an effort by Ron Killings tonight Tenay!Mike Tenay:'The Truth' brought the fight to the champion but Jarrett was able to isolate that knee and get the win.[iN RING:][Killings still recovering from the ‘Figure Four Leg Lock’ is once attacked by Jarrett who stomps down on Killings leg. America’s Most Wanted despite their earlier brawl with Team 3-D run down to the ring to help their Planet Jarrett leader. Gail Kim and the ‘Monster’ Abyss also join them. Planet Jarrett beatdown Killings with Jarrett behind them with the NWA World Heavyweight mocking him.]'Planet Jarrett'[Christian Cage’s music hits as he runs down to the ring with the James Gang in tow. Cage and the James Gang are enough for Jarret to order his team to flee the ring. Cage, BG James and Kip James help Killings to his feet as Jarrett and his team taunt them from the crowd. The young interviewer was odd selection to many backstage but Carter had hoped Borash would provide a different view on the wrestling world and shake things up."SPIKE TV WILL DROP US IF YOU GIVE THE REIGNS TO THE KID ..."TNA was heading to it’s first PPV of the 2006 year, in his first move as head booker Borash proposed a ‘Cross the Line’ mentality.
