Kazu Yoshizawa, his Head Booker, is seated across from him as they review the last month of shows from around Japan. Kazu, “so we are sitting behind WLW, GCG, and 5SSW at the moment. With a little lead on Exodus, Warrior Engine, and Saisho.” Maeda continues, "Enough of this! You and I were great adversaries, Kazu. My ultimate rival. What made us great is that we never settled to be anything but the best. The 'Modern Japan Movement' [MJM] that Kajahara created is a black mark on our entire industry. Golden Canvas Grappling [GCG] may have brought us into this war by moving away from our traditions and going to a western schedule, but I will be damned if I will let them take down 55 years of Japanese tradition just to make some yen. We will not sit idly by any longer. All of these sheep taking the easy road, unknowingly being lambs led to the slaughter of our ideals and traditions. We have been at war with GCG for 5 years now, and haven't made any headway in showing the Japanese public the error of their ways. And how could we? Every promotion in Japan save for us & PGHW have moved to this ridiculous schedule. Even Burning Hammer!" Kazu, "...so, what are we going to do about it?" Maeda responds, "GCG is not enough. We need to take down the real problem here, Kazu. The Modern Japan Movement. I no longer consider ourselves just at war with GCG. As of tomorrow morning, we will be declaring war against EVERYONE in this 'movement'. We will bring them all down." Maeda has a sick smile on his weathered face. Kazu has seen that smile before. It’s the same smile Maeda wore when discussing bringing Black Canvas Grappling into existence in December 2011. It may have convinced him then, but Kazu is a bit worried his friend is off his rocker. Maybe it was those sake-bombs from earlier in the night... Kazu, slowly, responds "You can't be serious Maeda-san. We are struggling to fight ONE promotion, and you want to take them ALL on? Besides, these other promotions also have Juniors, Deathmatch, and Joshi workers. They aren't our competition. GCG is the real problem here and what brought us together to create Black Canvas in the first place. To restore the glory of the 'Roaring Lion' tradition. We will not survive if we take them all on at once" Maeda, "Our promotion is slowly dying here, Kazu. And you or I are not getting any younger. This atrocity of westernizing Puroresu needs to be stopped once and for all. If we want to restore the glory of the ‘Roaring Lion’, we have to take a final stand and end this madness. Sure we could keep this going in our current state, but for how long? It’s only a matter of time before Burning Hammer joins the MJM. If they do, this will all have been in vain. If we don’t end this now, before they join, there will be no Roaring Lion left to defend." Maeda finishes with "Dead lions, Kazu, do not roar"
-------------------- OOC: So, this is something I have been marinating on for a long, long time. I know we have Dark_Raider's excellent BCG diary on here (and I reached out to him before creating this one to make sure he is cool with it), but BCG is far and away my favorite CVerse promotion. It was the one that originally "hooked" me on TEW back in 2013 and I've always wanted to give it a proper "dynasty" run. I am not sure how often or steady I will be updating, with WIRE and Real World Chronicles also in my to-do list, but as I work my way through with BCG I will be sharing it here. I will be starting with shows next week likely. Special thanks to willr0ck for his great renders and shared love of BCG, the rest of the WIRE crew for their support and banter, Dark_Raider, and anyone so brave as to read my puro ramblings. Enjoy!

 10. Sure. A) For WIRE I just pm’ed people I’d had good interactions with on the site, usually through Uncrewed’s drafts in the mods section, a general idea of the direction I’d like to try to take a MP game. For MotR, kind of the same thing. From there, I invited everyone to a Slack workspace (its a messaging platform) and we kind of workshopped the ground rules from there. B) I run the file. So the other guys will post what they want to do on the show and then I will input and run it. Slack allows you to post screenshots easily so I just post up each screen of the show as it’s run. You can also post files directly, so after a week of shows I’ll post up the save file in our slack channel so guys can dive in if they want to. Example show submission someone else would send me: NOTBPW Championship Wrestling, March 2016, Week Two- Ottawa Rams Stadium: Commentary Team: Samuel Curran & Tom Townsend ANGLE 1) Ricky DeColt promo interrupted by Johnny Bloodstone, argument ensues (10 Min.) MATCH 1) Cameron Vessey defeats Ant-Man (5 Min.) ANGLE 2) Davis Wayne Newton promo about how nobody is better than him! (4 Min.) MATCH 2) Sonny Wildside defeats Flash in a number one contender’s match (10 Min.) (Open Match) (Storytelling) MATCH 3) Kristabel Plum defeats Kinuye Musashibo in a number one contender’s match (10 Min.) (Open Match) MATCH 4) The Can-Am Blondes defeat Jacob Jett & Erik Strong after Brown & Haynes interfere and attack Jett & Strong (10 Min.) (Open Match) ANGLE 3) Steve DeColt promo about how he will win the NOTBPW Elite Series (5 Min.) MATCH 5) Steve DeColt defeats Shooter Sean Deeley in a NOTBPW Elite Series Quarterfinals Match (20 Min.) (Open Match) ANGLE 4) Cameron Vessey ambushes Duane Stone backstage! (4 Min.) MATCH 6) Ricky DeColt defeats Johnny Bloodstone in a NOTBPW Elite Series Quarterfinals Match (20 Min.) (Open Match) ANGLE 5, Steve DeColt fails to attack Bloodstone & Ricky. Victoria Stone-McFly comes out and says that enough is enough and books a triple threat NOTBPW Canadian Championship match between the three of them at March To Victory! (5 Min.) END OF THE SHOW

We don't "pass" the file around as that seems to be a big friction point in past multiplayer games. By keeping it to one person, we don't risk someone dropping out and ruining the file for all. Hopefully, if successful, it can provide a template of how multiplayer games can work consistently.

- We communicate via Slack. I post up shows, the latest file, graphics, etc... all in the Slack channel. This way, if I get hit by a bus, the file can keep rolling

- Every company was able to sign 5 workers at game start, and will be able to sign 1 worker per month going forward (details below)

- Each company also has a "waiver" list of 20 workers currently on written contracts with other companies.
