  1. <p>Agreed</p><p> </p><p> Would help find things a little quicker or allow one to study the mechanics a bit when not booking</p>
  2. Customization More optional Customization is an upgrade Less optional Customization is a downgrade It's not rocket science lol But If I went a little more in detail TOTKingNothing explains the biggest issue with presets 1. They don't and can't possibly cover everything, if were being honest they probably cover maybe half of the products we could previously do in 16 and that's being generous. 2. People who used a heavily customized product in 16 are by default going to find this new system heavily restrictive (because it is), and some will just never make the jump from 16 which means less sales for a "new" idea, which means it isn't a good idea. 3. Adam Ryland is the be all end all in this product choice, If he were to say no to a product suggestion as he feels it's unrealistic then your out of luck, if he were to say no because he's busy trying to fix something else then your out of luck, if for whatever reason you somehow end up on Ryland's bad side (Which is unlikely as he's usually a saint ) then your also out of luck. 4. Even if Adam can add all the product suggestions, He won't be able to please everyone as the restrictions of certain product types is heavily subjected, don't believe me look into the discussion about Puro companies and tainted finishes. While it may make the game too easy perhaps Adam can allow us some limited access to under the game's hood so we can add our own products, as I imagine he made his own personal system to make products he could simply release it. One last thing I don't mean to be argumentative or rude but jean-vic what are you talking about? Wrestling has always been extremely diverse with major differences and always has the possibility to evolve a present new products, For example if I wanted to start a new wrestling promotion tommorow that only had people in mascot outfits wrestle in extremely technical matchups I could, now if it would be successful that is debatable, but lets say it is and attracts a a new niche audience for the product, then in that example we have a new wrestling product.
  3. Agreed This sounds like a good idea, but how it account for say a Canadian promotion in a primarily US Alliance? Would they not be able to take the titles at all if computer controlled?
  4. Hmm I like this idea but I gotta ask though, If say we are playing as USPW and have our own network now, and say NYCW approaches us wanting a deal on our network, I imagine we'd have a right to accept or refuse but would we get a cut of their profits if we were to accept? I mean that would be realistic if we own the broadcaster.
  5. I saw his thoughts on it I just respectfully disagree, It has a place in the game and nobody not even the game's creator has the right to tell me how to enjoy the game imho. I'll simply wish for it to return.
  6. Agree Workers should have the ability to refuse rehab, it's not realistic to think everyone will accept it for one reason or another, Soft drugs is still a thing in tew 2020 could you imagine NXT trying to send Matt Riddle to rehab lol
  7. Completely Agree with this It just feels strange that we can't assign trainers anymore, admittedly i don't know if they actually trained previously though.
  8. What really? Holy crap that's awesome, must have missed it in the development journal In that case I suppose I simply suggest the "protection" for lesser workers in Battle Royals
  9. Quick Question for Rumbles and other Elimination Match types This might sound a little strange and off topic at first but why can't we have a higher road agent limit especially for matches like this, in 16 for example we only had ten as our limit, meaning most booked a battle royal like: Winner: Match Style (I usually used Storytelling, myself) Open Match Decisive (Or Tainted) Ironman Final Elimination Final Four Final Four Most Eliminations If you use those 8 tags to book a battle royal you have at best 2 tags to decide Interferences, Stunt or Crazy Bumps, Distractions, Botched Interferences, Etcetera Etcetera. If road agent tags were hypothetically increased to say 15 at least, we could add a more tags to further tweak these matches As for the Battle Royals themselves (and other elimination matches), why not add a feature that a wrestler is say very low overness for said match he won't be penalizing the whole show for being used too much, as he made it no where close to the final four and was only in the ring up to his maximum time or as little as his minimum, and thus he was only on screen for say 6 minutes. I feel this would make battle royals a lot more viable for other players.
  10. <p>I Agree with Tom here</p><p> </p><p> The info is already in the game, it would be nice to see if were hitting or failing those storyline requirements in our office to save some clicks.</p>
  11. <p>Completely agree here</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="djthefunkchris" data-cite="djthefunkchris" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47942" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The cult of people or whomever that is responsible for this change really screwed it up for people that didn't play it like that.<p> </p><p> I used the time decline in a totally different way. I would push the worker's as high as I could to try and make them reach their full potential of popularity, before their decline made it impossible. It is a sort of challenge in a challenging game.</p><p> </p><p> For those that were jobbing them out ASAP and firing or whatever... I've had guys in time decline for years and still ended up getting great matches, almost always better than the young ones I hire to replace them.</p><p> </p><p> I used to hire workers in time decline on purpose, just to do what I mentioned above. Anyone that has read my posts over the years know I am always sticking up for the old guys. In TEW 2020 I won't do this because I don't want to have to dig that hard while playing the game. The feature did tell you who was in the most decline, and so let me know who I had to work the hardest on getting over. No more old people for me until this feature comes back...sadly.<img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The removal of this feature just feels wrong to me but if they tweaked it a bit and then returned it I might be ok with it, for example TOTKingNothing suggesting it be tracked like chemistry makes since as it becomes completely obvious once a wrestler has started there decline or at least when it gets bad (In real life too), </p><p> </p><p> Personally I wouldn't mind a new "age" that sets in just before "Decline" starts; set 1-5 years depending on your luck they can go with losing stats or the decline penalty but won't be improving anymore, Could stop players from immediately depushing if that's truly a concern.</p><p> </p><p> Next I also like BulletProof's idea's for "Tweak 1" It makes since and seems like a solid compromise if we don't just get the initial time decline list back or if we do A nice addition anyways, </p><p> </p><p> I kinda like "Tweak 2" but I feel it should be more linked to the workers relationships backstage rather than their respect, if that was the case depushing say Edward Cornell heavily would anger Tommy and cause some tension backstage, but it wouldn't make much since to me if a young up and coming star with no connection cared about "Edward Losing his Spot", As it's a spot he's most certainly gunning for anyways.</p>
  12. <p>Agreed</p><p> </p><p> The move segment button returning could speed up booking the shows a bit, as of right now it takes an average of 5 extra minutes for me personally to book a show</p>
  13. I’m ok with meddling being tied to relationships but They need to make sure they make sense which is what I tried to convey in my initial post but I don’t think I did that very well For example it makes since to me that it would be much less likely to meddle a loner and a bully positively but meddling a lively with a people person should be possible
  14. Reminded me of something that happened in my Local to Global file Elsa Calvo cheated on one of my Main Eventers with Con McReady which made everyone hate them for about 2 years lol Now Elsa married Felipe Caballero so alls good though Anyways as for the meddling I’m curious if anyone knows how to look under the hood so to speak? Could answer my question pretty quickly
  15. Idk maybe I’m wrong It definitely feels like I have less odds than before, (only success I’ve had was two people of the same personality with Sophie on , and it still took like ten tries) I failed 100+ times when trying two different personalities and still haven’t had a successful meddle there, I’m just curious if the odds are worse this year and if so why? Forgot that in 16 I had hundreds possibly thousands successful meddles before with some variety in personalities
  16. <p>I don’t know if this is a glitch or just a design choice but is it supposed to be very difficult to successfully meddle in relationships? Just seems a little odd to me that unless two people have the exact same personality that successful meddling is unlikely </p><p> </p><p> Perhaps it should be that certain personalities have a higher chance of working - Professional, Driven, Quiet, Loner And Stalwart for example should gel well</p><p> </p><p> Relaxed, Lively, Free Spirit, Class Clown, Party Animal, And Maybe People Person should gel</p><p> </p><p> Irrepresible should gel well with almost anyone but be albeit rare</p><p> </p><p> Intense could probably gel with driven, stalwart, Needy?, And Bully</p><p> </p><p> Mercenaries should gel with selfish, Insecure?, Sleazy?, Egomaniacs?, And Wild</p><p> </p><p> Prickly to gel with Gloomy, Insecure, and Needy</p><p> </p><p> Sleazy gels with Troublemaker, Agitator, Egomaniac, And Grifter</p><p> </p><p> Unpredictable is the equivalent to random</p><p> </p><p> Scumbags have positive relationship with no one including other scumbags (they feel threatened) <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> So anyone else agree or disagree with this?</p><p> </p><p> (I know the idea is rough around the edges)</p>
  17. Honestly I just want the view profile button back Whether they move freestyle angles or make it a button is not my concern I just need them to add profiles back
  18. That’s fair the fact there’s 2 rumbles nowadays slipped my mind and agreed on that
  19. Yes to both But if I am honest the segment one doesn’t sound feasible
  20. A few to be opposite of some of the attributes land some other ideas Slow Healer - The worker seems to recover from significant injuries far slower than a normal human should Family First Woman - The worker is more likely to become pregnant Golden Mane - This Worker will never agree to lose their hair Legally Blind? - This worker has issues with depth perception and so the hidden cap on his safety is capped Deaf - can cause some miscommunications in the ring from time to time resulting in a worse match (Deaf touch) B-Movie Star - Similar to Movie Star but less of a boost to popularity, has a Chance to become movie star over time Guest Star - Similar to TV Star but will only disappear for like a week and has a small chance to increase popularity, can become TV Star over time Aspiring Politician - Worker will become a politician after retirement from active competition Actual Politician - Worker is a politician has a higher chance of leaving the business, will only sign 1 appearance contracts as though they are a Special Guest Lone Wolf - Worker gives a penalty to any tag team he’s in if it is less than 85 experience or has positive chemistry Old Style Gladiator - Worker gets a small bonus in one vs one matches New Style Gladiator - Worker gets a small bonus in matches with 3 or more combatants Emotional performer - This Worker let’s there emotions out in full swing during matches , if they have a positive relationship with the other wrestlers they can cover for their weaknesses if they have a negative relationship with them however they will purposely make them look bad Life Long Underdog - Being Squashed is their speciality, they they lose less momentum when being dominated against No Filter - This Worker refuses to be scripted and will get angry if asked to regardless of their personality otherwise, and may even go unscripted against the booker if unhappy Where’s my script? - This Worker struggles when not using a script regardless of their stats and will go deer in the headlights if asked to be unscripted Scandalous - Workers with this trait are more likely to indulge in controversial photoshoots and get involved in things like sex tapes Master Backstage Politician - These Workers are completely two faced, they may down right refuse to lose to anyone who isn’t there equal and even turn down open matches with “lesser talent” as it makes them look bad Sore Loser - A hidden trait, if asked to lose a match they may just intentionally make there opponent look bad Gateway User - Users with this trait will find it very difficult to get off of addictions and are more likely to start new ones I could possibly come up with more but this comment is already rather long
  21. <p>All of the above please</p><p> </p><p> These are great suggestions , hope to see them implemented</p>
  22. <p>While your right that in theory a penalty doesn’t stop you</p><p> </p><p> You have to consider that these penalties can be extremely harsh, which makes a lot of players just never book outside the rules, which will stagnate the booking to a horrifying degree, consider how people responded to eye candy matches and sex appeal segments and matches being capped, some were ok with it, some were happy, some were ticked, and finally some just stopped incorporating them at all.</p><p> </p><p> However some of these penalties are a lot more restrictive to work around even for the type of players who play to avoid penalties, in USPW for example I couldn’t run a match over 10 minutes or I was penalized which is crazy, I can’t have a segment over five or I’m Penalized; crazy, or cant have an overness only segment at 5 minutes or less; crazy</p><p> </p><p> I’m fine with penalties but there a bit too strict, god forbid the players want to book a royal rumble like match for USPW, with these penalties you just gave your show a death segment </p><p> </p><p> If they tinker with these penalties a bit (such as let USPW segments go up to 8 minutes and matches to 20) while also allowing an outlier match or angle from time to time (perhaps via a road agent note with a time table of a month or once a show limit?) would allow us to handle with these limitations a bit more and not scare off a group of players</p>
  23. <p>Agreed</p><p> </p><p> This would be a nice quality of life upgrade</p>
  24. I hope your right The lack of custom products is kinda bumming me out, I took a company from local to global using a product that isn’t exactly replicated in Tew 2016, I was planning to continue my file in Tew 2020 with an expansion in India as a big goal, but that will go on hold until I can book the company the way i intended too.
