  1. <p>^^ I'm having a blast with my current game as well. </p><p> </p><p>

Light heavyweight scene is looking pretty hot. Tommy Rich as champion, Dynamite Kid is in full time as his nemesis, well, providing their first match doesn't get negative chemistry. I brought Misawa in for 6 shows on a talent trade. He will get the next shot at Tommy Rich. </p><p> </p><p>

In my old games, I could do 12-13 matches per ppv (including 1 on pre show) This time, I'm doing 9 maximum. If there are two suitable main events (Harley vs Vader) (Flair vs Kerry Von Erich), then they will headline separate shows. Buildup for Flair vs Kerry has been over two months now. I'm feeling it. </p><p> </p><p>

I think the time has come to use screwy ref finish. Something I'd do maybe 1-2 times per game. Only used if. Road Warriors to get screwed against Tully and Arn in their long awaited tag team title rematch,Earl will be the ref. lol It will turn out that JJ is accused of buying off the ref. I might try and get some lawyer type personality in to defend JJ. We'll see. I don't want Road Warriors losing clean, but I feel them chasing makes better TV. </p><p> </p><p>

Dusty is just about ready to turn on Magnum. </p><p> </p><p>

Vader is already on the tour the company most popular stars list. </p><p> </p><p>

And the biggest signing in pro wrestling history. </p><p> </p><p>

Hulk Hogan has signed for JCP. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I saw his contract was up and said why not? Really had to break the bank. This is my world! The world will not be getting Flair vs Hogan until Starrcade. I've feuds with Billy Graham, The Funks and Dusty Rhodes planned before we get to Flair vs Hogan. </p><p> </p><p>

Just imagining that playing out in real life. Was funny looking at the booking for his last four shows. Lost 1 match by count out and another three matches, including two as tag team. But they didn't have him lose the WWF title. So who is the real world champion?</p><p> </p><p>

    Find out at Starrcade.</p>

  2. That was a joke earlier. Bret vs Tully only got 63. Disappointing to see that score. Negative chemistry killed it. I don't know why I was expecting better.

Vader and Race got a 78 for the main event. Neither has been pinned yet and Vader does have one of those boring unbeaten runs I talked about, although his run has been pretty exciting. No idea who the man will be to finally get a win over Vader. I'm enjoying booking him at the minute. He even moved from 0 to 1 sex appeal. Yay.

I'm considering creating a World title that is exclusive to JCP. I treat my titles well and there will always be fresh opposition out there. Not having world title defenses on every show.

  3. <p>Got my highest rated match so far on the new game. Tully Blanchard vs Bret Hart at Clash of the champions 3. 92. All out, 20 minutes. Proud. No real plans, no build up. I just wanted to do this match. </p><p> </p><p>

Not everybody can come in and go on a boring unbeaten streak. Bret contract came up and it was me that swooped in this time. He recently defeated IC champion Scott Hall. In non title match. Bret had just joined the company so he has to make his way into the NWA Intercontinental rankings. Or so Scott says. </p><p> </p><p>

Scott got involved in the Bret vs Tully match, leading to the win for Tully. Luckily, Tommy Vercetti was watching and immediately announced that Bret Hart will be getting the ic title shot at a later date. </p><p> </p><p>

Jake Roberts took Mick Foley under his wing. I don't read many dynasty threads, but I saw one that had Jake and Mick together. I did Sam Houston vs Mick, Jake got involved and cost Mick. No turns or anything. Just Jake using his own brand of mentorship.</p><p> </p><p>

Vader got his biggest win to date at clash of the champions 3. He defeated Harley Race in a first blood match. Harley made him bleed in their previous match that ended with a sports entertainment finish. </p><p> </p><p>

Thinking of turning Dusty Rhodes. He has been getting involved in the Magnum vs Savage feud over the US title. I've made Dusty the ref for their next match. That should be when the turn happens.</p>

  4. Being part of an Alliance and one night loans are so much fun. Clash of the Champions 2 will be a sort of JCP vs the world. Two wrestlers that don't belong to me fighting for a title that doesn't belong to me. Tiger Mask defends the light heavyweight title against Dynamite Kid. Sucks that it will get a 50 something rating. :p

I still know that I'll be so annoyed when a title changes hands that I don't want to, but for now, it is great.

Randy Savage will be the guy. For now, Ricky Steamboat is the no1 challenger to Flair. They had a 45 minute draw (84) at my last big show. They will rematch again very soon. Tommy Vercetti (that's me) was bought an expensive 1920 bottle from JJ Dillon. JJ planned to have a drink later on, but Vercetti surprised him in the final segment, declaring that Ricky Steamboat deserves another chance. I'm thinking of making him champion, for a couple of months, then Flair can win it back. The first loss will lead to the Horsemen going on a rampage.

Tully put Dusty out for 2 months, but I'm going to pretend it was Vader. I will do that Vader vs Dusty match. Vader latest victim was Ron Garvin.

    Tag Team division is now

    Arn and Tully (champs)

    Road Warriors

    Koloffs

    Long Riders

    The Fabulous ones

Rock n Roll Express in for five shows. They beat Fabulous in no1 contender match at cotc 2.

Long Riders and Starship Coyotes were feuding. Starship were losing most of their matches. 3-1. The final loss led to a turn from Scott Hall.I had to turn Scott Hall. I saw this picture and it had to be done. Big plans now. Thinking of making a JCP Intercontinental title just for him.

    http://i68.tinypic.com/s169ex.jpg

All this depends on WWF not swooping in. Have to remember I'm just regional right now. Popularity is going up slowly, but more shows, the quicker I start to increase. 2 big shows each month. Cotc will be the prelude to the big show on week 4 each month.

  5. WWF fire Luscious Johnny, Cyndi Lauper and... Bobby Heenan. I couldn't believe it when I read the article. JCP is heading to number one, double quick, double time. Nah, it is perfect for me. Bobby will be the color man. I've brought Gordon Solie back in. Team them up and see how it goes.

Harley Race is back in as the grizzled legend. He will be a face. Main event was lacking names. Can't say I'm ever comfortable putting Ron Garvin in the main event. Dory Jr is on time decline.

Great start to this game. Next decision will be my Starrcade main event. You have to plan ahead. I'm thinking Flair vs Savage.

I was looking at the power 500 and Jaguar Yokota jumped out at me. It made me create a women division that will barely be used. I invited UWA to the alliance, so I could get Jaguar and Lola Gonzalez. They will wrestle at Clash of the champions.

  6. JCP January 1985 Risky Business.

This will be an experience. There hasn't been a WWF event that I haven't watched, I know their history. I copied most of their storylines while playing games.

Totally different with JCP. I didn't grow up with them, I know most of the roster, but not all the matches, etc.

Ric Flair will turn heel on Ricky Steamboat at the first clash of the champions., my January special event. Four horsemen will be created on the same night since it will be Flair and Steamboat vs Tully and Arn. My 4h will be Flair, Arn, Tully and..... Vader. JJ is managing Vader.

Lots of signings. I'm going for it, baby.

Road Warriors brought in to be the tag team kingpins. Arn &Tully, and the Koloffs will keep them busy. . Already sounds better than my tag team division in the 1996 game I was playing. American Starship to become the greatest team of all time? Maybe.

Randy Savage is the biggest signing I've made so far. I can't say he will be the next NWA champion since he is coming in as heel, but he will be champion some day. Maybe have him feud with Magnum before that. So many ideas. I should bring in Elizabeth as well.

All about building the Clash of the Champions Now.

Wahoo vs Magnum will be the US title match. I'll get a better idea after I run some shows.

edit* Good news. Vader pre match squash over local Dan Marsh . I have to build him up for his onscreen debut. Vader is going to make his debut and attack Dusty Rhodes. Leading to the inevitable 1v1 . Vader will give him a Lesnar vs Cena type beating, but it wont be as long, so kind of similar to Vader vs Antonio Inoki. Hope Dusty doesn't have a creative clause. haha.

Anyway, the good news is that JJ Dillon and Vader have pretty good chemistry.

  7. April 1997. Gorilla Monsoon steps down as WWF general manager. He steps down on Saturday night main event on BBC. That deal has been handy for non ppv. Anyway, Mike Tyson replaces him. Been rumors of Elegance (Hunter and Regal) bribing Referees due to a supposed fast count in their match with Road Warriors at Wrestlemania. Will Jack Doan be found guilty?

Bret is now Anti American. Booker T made a surprise debut at Wrestlemania. At WWF New York. :p

2 stables were formed the night after Wrestlemania. The Hart Foundation and Smackdown (the Rock, the Sultan, Justin Credible and Mark Henry)

Rey lost the cruiserweight title on his first defense. Waltman is now 2 time champion. The mask was on the line at Wrestlemania. Rey won the title, kept his mask and had his Wrestlemania moment. Watlman might be stoned most of the time, but his ratings are good. I like how this has built, their first match at 63, their last match at 78. I have some more cruiserweights blending in now, Helms, Billy Kidman. Shannon Moore keeps getting one night deals. I like to have plans for my men. Hardyz have just been brought up from development. I suppose he could be their buddy.

Undertaker is WWF champion. Mankind will be the next challenger. Paul Bearer pulled some shenanigans, it was meant to be Undertaker vs Kane at Wrestlemania, but it was made a three way instead (with Vsder) and Kane did not get involved. He just stood at ringside. Undertaker pinned Vader then Kane attacked Undertaker after the match. What? Sounds good in my mind. Kane will get his 1v1 at a later date.

  8. The road to Wrestlemania 13. Here is what we will do.

Kane was introduced back at Summerslam. Unbeaten, killing people, in my version, The Undertaker will only face his brother when the time is right.

Rocky Cage is no more. He won the intercontinental title and soon turned heel. The die Rocky die sign he spotted was enough to push the change. He is now The Rock. Just speeding things up. Marc Mero is feuding with him at the minute.

Shawn Michaels wont have a match at Wrestlemania. (maybe) My version of losing his smile. He is my current champion and he brought the prestige back up to 88, but in my world, he says he suffered a severe concussion against Mankind. He has to vacate the title. Leaving my franchise player out of Wrestlemania doesn't make much sense. I'm doing it.

Austin won the Royal Rumble. Just like real life, Bret eliminates him, but the ref didn't see it. The final four were , Bret, Austin, Taker and Hunter. Yes, Hunter is making inroads, his team with Steven Regal has been glorious. The final four will compete for the vacant title at the February ppv. Undertaker will pin Hunter.

And then the time will be right for The Undertaker to face Kane. Nowhere bigger than a WWF title match at Wrestlemania.

  9. The first seeds have been planted for the Hart Foundation. Sid and Ahmed Johnson defeat Owen and Davey at the December ppv. Botched interference from Cornette. Owen gets angry and these American fans go wild.

Bret is watching somewhere, even though he shouldn't be. His mind must be on Vader tonight. Austin got a win over Bret at Survivor Series (thanks to Jim Neidhart botched interference) It was their third match so far, 1-1-1, so Austin gets the shot at...... Shawn Michaels. Yep. He returned 6 months later. Asked for a release right away. Yeah really. I refused and he did not threaten to sit out his contract. I then put him over Vader for the title. Yeah, I really bent over for Shawn. An incident with Kid helped Shawn morale go from Very angry to angry, so looks like we are on the right track. For now.

Not so sure how it will be when I (yes, Shawn. Me!) demand sports entertainment finish in the Shawn vs Austin match. Austin is more over here than he was in real life at this point. I see this like their King of the Ring 1997 match, only Austin is still full on heel. I am going overboard with Sports entertainment finish. My one vice. Ok, second vice. First is diva shoots tshirts.

Mankind is probably a little more popular here as well. He will end up attacking Shawn at the end of the match vs Austin. Lay him out! And to my credit, Mankind is a worthy number one contender.

Bret and Austin will end up brawling as well. Bret is starting to lose control. Everybody screws me, ahhhhhhh. haha just wait till the Royal Rumble, Bret.

    edit

*I've been thinking. Sports entertainment finishes have tanked some of my shows. Yes, Warrior, Sid vs Vader are not on the same level as Shawn and Austin, but. I have ripped off the fans before, so I'm going to give them a winner here. Austin can take the loss thanks to Bret sticking his nose in. It wont hurt him and it makes perfect sense. Austin is set to win Royal Rumble 1997 (tainted win)

  10. It shouldn't be that then. To be honest, I have no idea what it could be other than maybe a scandal, though I haven't seen the effects of one so I can't really comment. I'm completely baffled

    I'm also baffled.

I changed the product around a bit right at the start, but I got no warning about the product change being too drastic. It was only small changes. I might be reaching. I'm looking at WCW and their popularity is going down as well. Only difference is, their Nitro ratings have earned the decrease. I'm killing them. :p

  11. http://s32.postimg.org/ltchjs9xd/wut.jpg' alt='wut.jpg'>

Is this normal? Important to know because I don't want to carry on in this game if the mod didn't translate well or something. I had a bad run at the start, but feels like the last 3 months I've been gaining popularity after the shows (80-87 all times), then I look at this. My workers are gaining popularity.

I've just fallen to cult size.

    I'm using latest patch.

  12. Rocky Cage defeats Pat Tanaka on his debut.. No complaints from midcarder Tanaka.

It is good to bring up somebody and have them able to win without the loser complaining. Yay for development.

The board have decided that Austin vs Bret will close Summerslam and Vader vs Sid will get a 9 minute sports entertainment finish before the final toilet break.. Bret vs Austin has 100 heat going into it. Can't not put this as the Main event.. I want Summerslam to be a success.

Brian Pillman will have to wait to get the ic title. you didn't really think he would win on his first opportunity, did you? He went from flabby middle, to toned light, earning even better star quality and sex appeal than he had before he became flabby. The usual problem, always wasted. I would like to try and clean him up, but don't really want to lose him to rehab so quickly. The post show never picks him up, so I can't give him a fine or whatever. We shall see.
