On the heels of that, it's no surprise that I've been teasing his return for a while. As far as I'm concerned none of that happened (or just chalk it up to one of those things that WWE starts and never carries through with). Either way, he is going to be edited to reflect his RL death and he won't be used moving forward.

A video is shown of last week beginning with Bianca Belair’s surprise for Lacey Evans and ending with Bobby Lashley saving Mysterio and Escobar from the Bloodline. AUGUST WEEK 1 NUTTER CENTER DAYTON, OH The Bloodline arrive at the arena and all of them look extremely serious as they enter. KARL ANDERSON VS EDGE © *These two veterans go move for move in the first half of the match. *Anderson presses every advantage but Edge seems one step ahead which frustrates him. *Anderson takes a risk by going to the top but Edge crotches him, then hits an huge Edgecution DDT off the middle rope for the win. RESULT: EDGE RETAINS THE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL Edge heads down the aisle after checking on Anderson. Gallows kneels down next to his partner, when suddenly Karrion Kross slides into the ring and blasts Gallows with a forearm to the back to the head. He picks up the big man and delivers a Saito suplex before turning his attention to Anderson who is just beginning to get up. Kross slaps on the Krossjacket and Anderson can’t fight him off. Kross stands over both of the Good Brothers, with a sinister sneer in a clear message to AJ Styles. “Ladies and gentlemen, my guest, LA Knight! You’re tagging with Cameron Grimes tonight to face Austin Theory and the man you defeated last week Grayson Waller. You often have something to say so what’s on your mind?” “My mind. Kayla what’s on LA Knight’s mind is…LA Knight! Tomorrow night in Detroit is Summerslam and as it stands right now, I don’t have a match. But that’s okay because the people will get what the people want. Tomorrow night, Detroit Michigan, LA Knight is gonna talk to ya!” Pretty Deadly are backstage with a camera. Prince gives a big smile. “You’re looking at the next Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. Elton Prince, Kit Wilson. Tomorrow we’re going to…..” Prince stops walking as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn walk into frame. The two teams regard each other in silence for a few moments before a four man brawl breaks out which officials attempt to separate. Kayla Braxton is standing by in Gorilla with Charlotte Flair. Before she can even ask a question, Charlotte holds up a hand. “Kayla, I know you’re going to ask me about the Snake Pit. It’s a great opportunity to stand in the devil’s den with a WWE Hall of Famer. But as I always say, I AM opportunity. See you in Detroit.” YOKO HAMADA VS CHARLOTTE FLAIR *Hamada puts up a good fight and even seems to impress Flair at moments. *Flair is never really in trouble and always finds her way back into control. *The match suffers a “technical difficulty in the middle *Flair puts Hamada in the Figure Eight for the win. RESULT: CHARLOTTE FLAIR WINS BY SUBMISSION Backstage, the Bloodline is walking in unison. They’ll be in the ring….next! “Ladies and Gentleman, my name is Paul Heyman, and I serve as Special Counsel to the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. In a little over twenty-four hours, the Tribal Chief will step into this ring versus Bobby Lashley, or as a former client of mine once asked…Bobby Who? Two weeks ago, YOUR Head of the Table looked his challenger in the face and accepted. That should have been it. But no, last week we saw Bobby Lashley stick his nose in Bloodline business. But we also know Roman Reigns was not here, and if he had been, we know there’s no way in hell that Bobby…..” Lashley comes from the back and begins marching to the ring as Heyman picks his jaw up off the mat. Jimmy, then Jey leave the ring and try to intercept but Lashley demolishes both. Solo then joins in and though he gets in a few strikes, Lashley scoops him up and delivers an over the head belly to belly in the aisle. Lashley locks eyes on Roman as Heyman and Naomi exit the ring. Lashley climbs onto the apron but before he can enter the Usos catch up and each grab a leg. Lashley tries to shake them off, but Roman runs in and delivers a Superman Punch, knocking Lashley down off the apron. Solo joins his brothers as the three kick and stomp Lashley before picking him up and throwing him into the steps as Roman watches from the ring. With Lashley down, the Bloodline leave as a unit but the camera catches sight of Lashley forcing him up to a knee with a determined grimace. A replay of the brawl we just witnessed is shown after the commercial break. We then get a vignette of the most vicious moments of Asuka’s recent history. THE UNHOLY UNION VS TAMINA AND GIGI DOLIN *Gigi Dolin and Tamina are game but the Unholy Union are more focused and more of a team as they never release the momentum once they gain it. *The finish sees Isla Dawn hit a bridge German suplex after Alba superkicks Gigi in a double team maneuver. RESULT: THE UNHOLY UNION WINS BY PINFALL CAMERON GRIMES AND LA KNIGHT VS AUSTIN THEORY AND GRAYSON WALLER *The heels control the beginning and keep Grimes in their corner. Waller especially is taunting Knight. *Grimes makes the hot tag and Knight can’t get his hands on Waller fast enough, throwing Theory over the top rope even though he’s the legal man. Knight slingshots Waller into the ring over the top rope from the apron and tees off on him *Theory gets back in and Grimes cuts him off leading to a four man fight. *They exchange dancing partners, and Grimes hits a cross body block on Waller to send them both to the outside allowing Knight to duck a big punch and nail Theory with BFT. RESULT: CAMERON GRIMES AND LA KNIGHT WIN BY PINFALL Backstage we see Bianca Belair emerge from Adam Pearce’s office and she is walking with a purpose but also a big smile. She’ll be in the ring….next! Bianca Belair comes down to the ring and the crowd loves her. “Dayton, I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned it tonight but tomorrow is the biggest part of the summer, Summerslam! And I’m out here because I’ve spent my evening negotiating with WWE Official Adam Pearce and he and I agree that Summerslam is missing something so he’s decided to add a last minute match to the card.” Lacey Evans emerges from the back wagging her finger. “Oh no no no, you don’t get to make decisions for me, nasty.” “Girl, you didn’t even let me finish. You see, as Adam says, it’s official. Me and you tomorrow night and there’s also one other thing.” Belair reaches into her pocket and holds up a blindfold. “Since you like to fight people who can’t see, our match, is a blindfold match. And you may not see it coming, but when I hit that KOD….I promise, you’re gonna feel it!” Bianca’s music hits as she dances and twirls her hair to the crowd’s delight as Lacey seethes in the aisle. Cole and Barrett hype that Summerslam is tomorrow as the show goes off the air.

Twenty-four hours from Summerslam, and Smackdown is ready to boil over. The battle for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship between Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley is quickly becoming deeply personal and both men will be in Dayton. WWE Officials are said to be highly nervous about the entire situation exploding before we get to Detroit! In action: Edge defends the United States Championship against Karl Anderson Grayson Waller and Austin Theory vs Cameron Grimes and LA Knight Bianca Belair will be on hand with a special message for Lacey Evans Tune in LIVE this Friday night for Friday Night Smackdown on FOX! (Special note: Smackdown will be posted tomorrow as we try and speed up the schedule to get caught up.)

A video from the end of last week is shown were the Bloodline jumped Bobby Lashley after his match and once he was barely conscious, the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns came to the ring to accept the Summerslam challenge. JULY WEEK 4 SMOOTHIE KING CENTER NEW ORLEANS, LA The show begins with Bianca Belair already in the ring. She looks subdued, her eyes still covered with a wrapped bandage. “I’ve been putting this off, trying to find the right time to tell all my fans in the WWE Universe the biggest news of my career. You see, a few weeks ago Lacey Evans attacked me in my dressing room but before she did that, she tossed in a flashbang and she blinded me. I haven’t seen my friends, my family…I haven’t seen my husband’s face in a month! I’ve been to more doctors than I can count and all of their advice has brought me here tonight.” Lacey Evans walks down to the ring with a big smile. “Bianca, hey it’s Lacey….” she waved at Belair mockingly. “I just wanted to be in the ring when you gave your big announcement to see it with my own eyes….no pun intended, darlin’.” Bianca looks in the direction of the crowd as they boo Evams. “Lacey, I’m glad you’re here actually because as I said, this is all your doing. And as for my announcement, I met with the best eye doctor in the country four days ago and well…” Belair begins to choke up as Evans climbs to the second rope, taunting the booing crowd. Belair goes from looking at the mic to directly looking in Evans’ direction and begins unwrapping her eyes as she talks. “And he told me the best news I’ve ever heard. Not only is my vision back,......” Evans stops taunting and an expression of surprise crosses her face. “.....but there is nothing stopping me from whipping your ass!” Belair runs across the ring to Evans and yanks her down by her waistline before launching everything she had on Evans who does her best to block but Belair is insatiable. Evans tries to escape the ring but Bianca catches her by the hair and brings her back in, lighting her up with several big short armed clotheslines before military pressing Evans over her head and dumping her over the top rope. As the crowd explodes, Bianca swings her ponytail and doesn’t look like she’s done with Lacey Evans yet! Evans forces herself to her feet and retreats down the aisle. We see a replay of what opened the show. Bianca Belair is back and Lacey Evans is in trouble! LA KNIGHT VS GRAYSON WALLER *A great back and forth match between these two, Traditional heel cheating to keep the advantage type of story. *The crowd is really behind Knight and he feeds off it to take control. *Match ends when Knight nails a stun gun on Waller followed by a BFT on the rebound. RESULT: LA KNIGHT WINS BY PINFALL We go to Adam Pearce’s office where he is being screamed at by Bayley in English and Iyo Sky in Japanese. “Alright, alright! There’s only one way to settle this. The two of you will go one on one at Summerslam and I don’t want there to be any whining or excuses…” he looks at Bayley. “...so your match will be two out of three falls.” Iyo appears to like this news very much while Bayley is less enthused and storms out of the office. ELTON PRINCE VS SAMI ZAYN *Zayn, who came out without Owens in his corner, is fired up and takes it to Prince from the opening bell showing why he’s one of the best in the business. *Thanks to some dirty tactics, Prince gains the advantage and holds it until Zayn makes a comeback and hits the Helluva Kick. *As soon as Zayn goes for the pin, Kit Wilson enters the ring and attacks him. RESULT: SAMI ZAYN WINS BY DISQUALIFICATION Pretty Deadly doesn’t have time to double team Sami after the match because Kevin Owens comes running down with a chair and they both quickly ditch out of the ring. We cut to a vignette of a smoky room in which Scarlett sits at a table turning her tarot cards. Karrion Kross stands over her shoulder. “AJ, you want to bring about your demise at Summerslam? That’s music to my ears. I don’t want to ruin the surprise but you need to know what is in store for you. And that simply, is pain. I’m going to hurt you AJ. I’m going to make you wish you never laced a pair of boots. And remember one last thing. Scarlett’s cards never lie. See you in Detroit.” The United States Champion Edge is walking backstage. The WWE Hall of Famer will be in the ring….next! Edge is in the ring and holding a mic. “New Orleans! I stand before you the United States Champion but I feel like I haven’t been given enough opportunities to defend this title. To be a fighting champion. So as the WWE’s ultimate opportunist, I’m going to take care of that. Next week, in this ring, the night before Summerslam, I’m putting this title on the line against whoever wants to…..” Karl Anderson walks out, without Luke Gallows. He enters the ring and steps up to Edge and simply offers his hand, which Edge shakes and completes their unsaid verbal agreement. Cole and Barrett hype next week and what an incredible match that will be. Kayla Braxton is backstage and runs to catch up to an annoyed Paul Heyman. “Mr. Heyman, why did Roman Reigns feel it was necessary to send the Bloodline to assault Bobby Lashley before accepting his challenge?” “Ms. Braxton, if you need to ask that question, you haven’t been paying attention. The Tribal Chief, the Head of the Table, The Reignsing…defending…. …..does whatever he wants, for whatever reason he wants and all you need to worry your pretty little head about, is that at Summerslam, Bobby Lashley walks in without the title, and walks out without the title. THE STREET PROFITS VS HIT ROW *The Street Profits remember the attack Hit Row put on them the last time and are out for revenge. *Dawkins is kept in the enemy corner for a long stretch. *He finally makes the hot tag to Ford who cleans house and ends it with a sky-high frog splash on Top Dolla for the win. RESULT: STREET PROFITS WIN BY PINFALL We go to Asuka’s dressing room which has been re-designed with black walls and snakes writhing on the furniture and floors. Jake Roberts stands next to the champ. “Charlotte Flair, I gave you a clear warning. As a favor to your father, I tried to save you from the Empress of Darkness. But you listen about as good as he does. I’m a patient man and I’m someone who knows how important second chances are. So I’m going to give you another chance. At Summerslam, I invite you to join me as my special guest…in The Snake Pit. And we can come to an understanding. I’m only looking out for you. Trust me.” The camera focuses on Asuka’s completely emotionless face until at the last second, she spits mist at the camera. NAOMI VS MICHIN *An even match that goes back and forth *Naomi is getting the worst of it until she gouges Michin’s eyes. *Naomi hits the Rear View for the win. RESULT: NAOMI WINS BY PINFALL THE USOS VS REY MYSTERIO AND SANTOS ESCOBAR *Great tag action with both teams splitting the offense. *The Usos control the early going but the LWO starts building momentum and finally Rey gets Jimmy in position for a 619. *When he goes for it, Jey distracts the referee who doesn’t see Solo catch Rey mid-move and sling him down to the ringside mat. *Escobar goes after Solo but is quickly double teamed by both Usos. *Mysterio is rolled back into the ring and he walks right into a 1D. RESULT: THE USOS WIN BY PINFALL The Bloodline is ready to continue their attacks when….. Bobby Lashley runs down to the ring. He clotheslines Jimmy, then Jey. He tries to hit Solo, who ducks it, but Lashley runs past and bounds off the ropes for a spear! The Usos pull Solo out to the floor as Lashley and the LWO hold the ring as the show ends.

Two weeks ago, the Almighty Bobby Lashley laid down a Summerslam challenge to Roman Reigns. Last week, the Tribal Chief accepted....after his Bloodline attacked Lashley. We see a video recap of last week focusing on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn being attacked by Pretty Deadly and then Paul Heyman telling WWE Official Adam Pearce that we’ll hear Roman Reigns answer to Bobby Lashley’s Summerslam challenge. JULY WEEK 3 AMWAY CENTER ORLANDO, FL Backstage we see the Bloodline arrive in a stretch Hummer limo. Kayla Braxton is waiting for them and asks Paul Heyman if Reigns has decided to accept or not but they all brush her off and walk into the arena. “Welcome to Friday Night Smackdown! I’m Michael Cole alongside Wade Barrett and tonight we’re all awaiting the answer from Roman Reigns. Will he or won’t he accept the Almighty’s challenge?” “Cole, you of all people have no right to demand anything from the Head of the Table. I’m sure he’ll give his answer on his own time.” "Be that as it may, let’s go to the ring for our opening contest.” CHARLOTTE FLAIR VS ISLA DAWN *Dawn starts strong, knowing she has to take it to Charlotte and it almost works until Charlotte begins lighting her up with chops. *Charlotte targets Dawn’s legs and when she’s weakened enough, slaps on the Figure 8 for the win. RESULT: CHARLOTTE FLAIR WINS BY SUBMISSION Charlotte gets her arm raised and heads up the aisle. Before she exits she turns to give the crowd one more WOOOOOOO. But Asuka has snuck up behind her and when Charlotte turns to leave, Asuka sprays the burgundy colored mist in her face. Charlotte drops, clutching her eyes. Asuka stalks around her like a shark before viciously kicking her in the side of the head. Before Asuka can do more damage, officials force her away. The camera pans and standing near the entrance we see Jake Roberts with a smile at his new protege’s handiwork. “Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, AJ Styles. AJ, last week we saw Karrion Kross and Scarlett make some pretty serious threats. How do you respond?” “Kayla, Kross and Scarlett like to do a lot of threatening and talking but me? I already prefer fighting. You want a piece of me, Kross? How about at Summerslam we settle this? You wanna call me a hanged man, well I’ll let you in on a secret. If I’m getting hanged, I’m taking you with me!” A graphic is shown telling us Bianca Belair will be on Smackdown next week with a major career announcement. SHEAMUS VS JOAQUIN WILDE *Sheamus bullies Wilde for most of the match but he begins taking his eye off the ball, and Wilde makes him pay by drop kicking him in the back towards the corner. *Sheamus goes high and hits his head off the post. He staggers back and Wilde nails a bridged German suplex for the upset win. RESULT: JOAQUIN WILDE WINS BY PINFALL Butch and Ridge Holland swamp Wilde and once Sheamus has recovered they pick him apart, ending with a Brogue Kick. Barrett comments that the Brawling Brutes aren’t done with the LWO yet! Kayla Braxton approaches Pretty Deadly. “Elton, Kit, last week you attacked the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, and they offered to fight at Summerslam. Are you regretting your actions?” Prince smiles. “Regret? Kayla, Kit and I have the opportunity we’ve been looking for. NXTUK champions. NXT champions. And soon, Undisputed Tag Team champions.” Wilson nods in agreement. “We’ve got them right where we want them and after all, there’s no crying over Spilt Milk.” Bayley is in her dressing room. “Iyo, I tried, I really really tried to get it through your head but you just don’t know your place. You think you’re my equal? Ding Dong, Hello! You’re a sidekick. You’re not on my level. And the next time you get in the role model’s face, you’re going to regret it.” GIGI DOLAN AND TEAGAN NOX VS RONDA ROUSEY AND SHAYNA BASZLER © *Gigi and Nox try their best but Ronda and Shayna are just too tough, brutal, and devastating. *Shayna sends Nox nto the barricade and nearly kicks her head off. *In the ring, Ronda hits Piper’s Pit before locking in the arm bar on Gigi who quickly taps. RESULT: RONDA ROUSEY AND SHAYNA BASZLER RETAIN THE WOMEN’S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP BY SUBMISSION The Bloodline is in their lounge, everyone is tense. Heyman leans in over Roman’s shoulder. “My Tribal Chief, have you given any thought to Bobby Lashley’s challenge for Summerslam?” Roman looks over his shoulder. “Wiseman, I know the answer.” Heyman nods and backs off as Roman looks straight ahead in concentration. AJ HINKLER AND KYLE FLETCHER VS HIT ROW *Hit Row dominates their opponents with a quick match that ends with Double Platinum. RESULT: HIT ROW WINS BY PINFALL Hit Row don’t have long to celebrate as the Street Profits hit the ring looking for the fight they didn’t get last week but Hit Row isn’t in the mood to fight this week either and head for the hills. A video for Summerslam is shown but halfway through a familiar interlude cuts in before the commercial finishes as normal. BOBBY LASHLEY VS AUSTIN THEORY *These two have a rivalry going back months and put on a very good match with even offense. *Theory does everything he can to overcome his opponent’s power but it’s not enough. *Lashley delivers a Dominator, before rag dolling Theory up to his feet and slaps on the Hurt Lock for the win. RESULT: BOBBY LASHLEY WINS BY SUBMISSION Lashley gets his arm raised but as soon as he turns to the aisle, the Bloodline has hit the ring. Lashley fights them off and for a moment actually is holding his own but the numbers catch up to him. As he puts Jey in the Hurt Lock, Solo Sikoa hits the Samoan Spike from behind. They stomp Lashley before the Usos come off the top with their twin splash. As Lashley lays in a heap…… The WWE Universal Champion comes down the aisle with Paul Heyman leading him down holding the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship over his head. He steps into the ring and has a wide smile as he crouches next to Lashley. “I accept.” Roman stands as the Bloodline raise their fingers in the air as a cohesive unit with Lashley laying at their feet as the show ends.

Last week the Almighty Bobby Lashley challenged Roman Reigns to a WWE Univeral Championship match at Summerslam. Per the Wiseman Paul Heyman, the Tribal Chief will back on Smackdown this week to give his answer. Meanwhile, Lashley will be in this week's main event against old nemesis Austin Theory. BAYLEY VS ZELINA VEGA *This is an open contest which allows both women to get in offense but Bayley always seem to regain the momentum thanks to dirty tricks. *Zelina goes for broke by going to the top but Bayley hits the ropes and crotches her on the top turnbuckle. Zelina crumples to the mat and Bayley pounces, quickly hitting the Rose Plant for the win. RESULT: BAYLEY WINS BY PINFALL Bayley barely has time to get her hand raised before she sees Iyo Sky running down the aisle and making a beeline for her. Bayley ditches from the ring and heads into the crowd with Iyo hot on her heels. Backstage, Kayla Braxton sees WWE Official Adam Pearce and runs to catch up to him. “Mr. Pearce, we saw Bobby Lashley’s challenge to face Roman Reigns at Summerslam. Is it official?” “Kayla, I’d love to make it official right here and now but, I have to run it up the chain first. As soon as I know, you’ll know.” RIDGE HOLLAND VS SANTOS ESCOBAR *Holland’s power comes into play early and often but Escobar is resilient. *When Holland accidentally rams himself shoulder-first into the post between the turnbuckles, Escobar goes on the attack with a flurry of offense to keep his opponent on his heels. *Holland mounts a comeback but is stunned with a spinning heel kick followed by a school boy rollup for the win. RESULT: SANTOS ESCOBAR WINS BY PINFALL Sheamus and Butch hit the ring and put a quick beating on Escobar but the crowd pops when Mysterio and Wilde hit the ring for the save and after a few moments the LWO gets the upper hand and sends the Brutes into retreat. MUSTAPHA ALI VS AJ STYLES *An even match that makes Ali look impressive. Even Barrett wonders if he’ll be the newest Smackdown hire. *AJ sells his ass off and eventually makes a comeback following several close calls. *When AJ hits the Phenomenal Forearm it’s all over. RESULT: AJ STYLES WINS BY PINFALL AJ is celebrating his win when Karrion Kross and Scarlett appear on the Tron. “AJ, you know you disappoint me. I had given you credit, if for nothing else, being smart. But your actions at Money in the Bank proved me wrong. You cost me that match and for that, I’m going to make you suffer like you’ve never suffered before.” Scarlett steps in front of Kross. “Your future is clear.” She holds up a Hanged Man tarot card as Kross laughs maniacally. When we return from the commercial, Grayson Waller is in the ring for the Grayson Waller Effect and he announces his guests, the Undisputed WWE World Tag Team Champions, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. KO and Zayn come down to the ring and both clearly don’t trust Waller. “Gentlemen, welcome to the Grayson Waller Effect and I am happy to be able to finally give you two the rub, as we say, to make those titles mean anything.” Owens wants to blow a gasket but Zayn calms him down. “Grayson, I don’t think Kevin and I need any kind of rub, I mean we won these titles at WrestleMania….” “The main event of WrestleMania!” Owens shouts. Zayn nods. “That’s right, the main event of WrestleMania and frankly, if I’m being honest, I think we’ve done a pretty good job of making them mean something since then.” Waller takes it in stride. “Well, agree to disagree. But since I have you hear, I have to ask, who’s your next challengers?” Owens is quickly growing tired of this. “Why? You know someone who wants punched in the face? Cause I’ll totally do it right now.” “No no, I’m not here to fight you. I just wanted to ask the question on everyone’s mind.” Owens stands. “I think what’s on everyone’s mind is when is KO gonna kick Grayson’s ass?! Waller and Zayn stand, with the former backing away and Zayn trying to calm down his partner, blinding them both from seeing who’s coming from behind. Pretty Deadly slides in from behind, pick up the tag titles, and attack the champs with cheap shots to the back of the head. Waller of course does nothing to warn his guests or get involved. After a few moments, Owens and Zayn are down and Pretty Deadly hold the titles up as the crowd boos. A replay is shown of the Grayson Waller Effect from a few minutes ago that saw Pretty Deadly attack Owens and Zayn. The video begins to waver before…. LACEY EVANS VS TAMINA *Nobody meaner than Tamina and she lives up to the reputation, not backing down one bit. Lacey has to regroup on the outside and only gains the advantage following an eye rake. *Lacey grinds Tamina down with a series of stiff, if underhanded, strikes like kidney shots and rabbit punches. *Tamina misses a big boot, which allows Lacey to kick her knee out from behind and slap on the Cobra Clutch. Tamina passes out in her grip. RESULT: LACEY EVANS WINS BY STOPPAGE Backstage, Kevin Owens is angrily pacing as Sami Zayn attempts to calm him. “Kevin, please slow down you’re going to have a heart attack if you keep this up.” “The only ones getting attacked are those two leotard wearing punks! They want to fight, let’s fight. Right now, inside the ring, out in the street, on the roof. You think Pearce will give us a roof fight?” Zayns rubs his face. “I doubt it, but how about we just take a breath and then kick their ass at Summerslam?” Owens nods. “Okay, I like that. But I still want to punch someone in their stupid face.” They both turn and look to the side and the camera follows. Truth looks to his left, then his right. “What’s that Little Jimmy? I’m coming.” He runs off as Owens and Zayn exchange confused looks. ASHANTE ADONIS VS EDGE © *The younger challenger gives Edge a run for his money and the veteran quickly finds he needs to ground Adonis and slow things down. *It’s a back and forth match and Adonis goes for the kill when he climbs to the second rope but when he jumps off, Edge hits an impromptu spear and scores the win. RESULT: EDGE RETAINS THE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL Top Dolla quickly (for him) gets into the ring and blasts Edge from behind. Hit Row are putting the boots to the United States Champion when the crowd pops. The Street Profits hit the ring and quickly send Hit Row to the outside. While Ford checks on Edge, Dawkins is still ready to fight but Hit Row decides retreat is the better part of valor. Adam Pearce is pacing backstage when Paul Heyman enters the scene. “Mr. Pearce, I have been authorized by the Tribal Chief, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, the Head of the Table, Roman Reigns to inform you that next week, the world will get an answer concerning the challenge posed by Bobby Lashley for Summerslam.” Heyman walks off as Pearce shakes his head.

A month away from Summerslam the Smackdown is heating up! On a special edition of the Grayson Waller Effect, the Aussie loudmouth will welcome the Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Knowing KO's temper everyone is wondering how long it will take Waller to push his buttons. Last week also saw the return of WWE Hall of Famer Jake the Snake Roberts who has now aligned himself with WWE Women's Champion Asuka. He gave a warning to Charlotte Flair but we'll see what the Queen thinks this week.
