  1. Nah, my point is the last thing he got any kind of upset about was 3 months ago, and before that, it was 6 months, and now he's got Red Hot momentum, post-title reign, and he's still booked to win most of the time. I mean what do I have to do?

I really don't think he should be holding a grudge about a loss at an event 11 months ago. I think this game thinks wrestlers care way more about wins and losses than they actually do in real life. Most just wanna put on a good show. There are bad apples of course, but that's kinda ridiculous.

First, if you're so concerned about his morale, give him a bonus. That's the quick and dirty way to change morale. Secondly, you seem to think wrestlers are not human or something. Would you be okay with some guy who started on the job a week ago getting a promotion you've been working hard for? Let's be real. Pretty much every worker in every industry wants to 'do a good job' but nobody wants to suffer (in any way, shape, or form) unless there's something in it for them. Junior is a 'People Person' which is almost the easiest personality type to deal with (Irrepressible is easier). Seems like you put someone over him that shouldn't have gone over him. Anyone would be pissed if that happened (unless they suggested or offered to 'do the honors' ). When that popup box comes up telling you the worker is 'angry' over the decision, you should probably pay attention to it and use the various tricks to try to get the worker to agree (keep strong, tainted win, interference, whatever). Otherwise, you deal with the consequences.

To answer your question in TL;DR fashion ("What do I have to do?"): In future, don't just blow past the popup box when the worker is upset about a booking decision. OR, be ready to reward them for being a professional (via a bonus). Or just deal with the morale hit.

I'm not sure if I've seen it in 2020, but the 2016 version had a "Happy with their recent booking" note. Is that gone?

Also, post event speeches are pretty easy to use to restore that morale.

    Not gone.

Problem with 'save upon segment addition' is for people running tests. They have autosave off for a reason. Just click the save button after you add each segment. 5. Does anyone know if women's size and body work just like the mens? Not sure how to word this without sparking a debate on the subjectivity of attractiveness...

I've always thought with men asking them to move up in size increases their star quality (assuming to goes well), normally their sex appeal sometimes helps their physical stats too. Getting in shape/more muscular seems to work like this too.

Just checking if it's the same with women? In theory do I want to ask them to increase in size? Or could increasing in size (even if goes positively) negatively affect any stats?

I don't know about increasing size but asking them to improve their physical condition does improve their sex appeal stat. I asked Connie Morris (flabby middleweight) to get in better shape and she went from Flabby Middleweight to Middleweight and her sex appeal went up (32 to 34).

  6. The first two graduates of the QAW Performance Center:

Angie's going to be a star, no doubt. Just have to think of a new name for her because I have too many An-s (Ana Garcia, Angel Takudome, Antonia Andres, etc). Thinking of putting her in my 'hero' stable so she can trio with the likes of Darkness Cat, Estrella Blanca, Electric Dreamer, Mystery Pink, Velvet Suarez, etc.

  7. Am I missing something obvious with training facilities, I created one in the first year of the game, knowing it would take a year for my first graduates.

It's set as mostly male students with fluid graduation. And I got absolutely nothing. I did an upgrade in early 2021 and figured maybe it reset the counter so I waited.

Just started 2024 and still not a single graduate, in fact looking through the other facilties nobody has any alumni that weren't historic.

I've checked in the editor, graduation is definitely enabled.

Am I missing an obvious option somewhere that's hindering me or have I hit a bug?

You have to wait. Plain and simple. There is no mechanic in the game that guarantees you'll get graduates at a particular time, other than by setting a specific date/month they debut. I have a maxed out PC that's supposed to generate 12 women a year and I got my first pair in JUNE. That means I'm going to get roughly 10 more graduates in the next six months. We'll see. I'm dubious, to be honest, but I can't say anything until the year ends.

Also, take a look at your era setting (if any). That could have an effect on how many people debut as well. Give it a year without any meddling with your training camp and then see what happens.

  8. I’m curious for peoples opinions for a worker, wrestler or non wrestler, Who in say 15 or 20 years in the future, 2040 game year, would have had an interesting career or seen a lot of things? They don’t have to be a star or remotely known outside of the business. IE I’m not looking for like a Rock or Stone Cold..

I know it’s an odd, out of the box question. I’m hoping for some creative input. Thanks!

On the women's side, Lucy Stone-McFly, Spider Isako, Black Diamond, Coco Malloy, Felicia Luck, Jessica Conroy, Katya Kornishkova, Kira Lee, Modesty Pador, DupliKate, Ellie de Grazia, Joy Ryder, Erin Grey, and Gypsy Rose. All very young (Lucy hasn't debuted yet) and talented with the capability to work in QAW/USPW/5SSW/CWA/EWA when the old guard inevitably retires. Lauren Easter is also one to watch since she could turn up as an owner and/or booker with her business and booking skills.

I've worked in den of vipers environments so there's no way I'd want to have that kind of chaos in a company I run. To me it's not a challenge (I just fire all the malcontents - for free), it's just busywork.</p>

You'd have to start a new save for it to show the new match setups.</p><p> </p><p> One possible suggestion I have is to remove the 'basic' tag from all of the non-basic matches <em>using the </em><em><strong>in-game</strong></em><em> editor</em>. With the default matches, the only basic ones are non-gimmick. So 1v1, 1v1v1, 1v1v1 Elimination, 1v1v1v1, 1v1v1v1 Elimination, and so forth. Nothing else should be a basic match. Here's a list:</p><p> <a href="https://imgur.com/l3CAww7" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i.imgur.com/l3CAww7m.jpg</span></a></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> So if you filter by 'any' in all fields except 'basic match' (which should be yes), you can see which matches don't fit and remove their basic tag. That way, the AI won't have the option to use those except in cases that warrant it.</p>

Maybe one of the SWF/TCW/USPW/CWA people can tell you for sure but the description at 4 leads me to believe the next level would open things up. If not the next level (5) then the one after that. Given how long it takes to get things spun up (25 weeks from 4 to 5 on 'Rapid' ), I'm hoping 5 isn't just a stepping stone to 6.</p>

  15. Mary Beth Chase on the women's side is the worst worker this year.

She's old (42), with poor entertainment skills (all in the 20s), poor stamina (40), a bad personality (Selfish) with perhaps the worst in-ring attribute possible: Selfish Performer. Even if you try to use her as a beast for your up-and-coming babyface to slay, that attribute will tank the match and fail to put a shine on said babyface. She complains about having to lay down for people much higher on the card (in one of my beta saves, she complained about having to lose to ALICIA STRONG  ). AND she generates negative backstage incidents like a nuclear reactor generates power.

Bit of a non issue inmho.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Some people like to play the default database. In the default database, there is at least one company whose January event happens on Saturday of Week 1. This company and its event has existed since the franchise began. The difference is, this year has the 'mandatory pre-booking' feature which makes that company a bit of a bear. It means you're already behind from day one. No one's talking about starting a new company and scheduling a show too soon. In these cases, the whole "it's cheating" argument is incorrect because there's no way around it other than turning the feature off temporarily.</p>
  17. <p>I usually start the save with a singular primary goal and several secondary goals, all focused on worker and character development. Then, depending on the game's mechanics (i.e. product and the pros and cons that go with it), I set out a basic plan on how to accomplish all of the goals.</p><p> </p><p>

In my current main save, the primary goal is to get Emma May over as a Ric Flair-level heel. I then got the bright idea to flip the typical script and essentially make her a babyface in that she has to find whatever way possible to overcome the odds of my hydra of babyfaces (Alicia Strong, Danielle Sweetheart, Alina America, Missy Masterson, and Juana Hurricane). Emma's stable isn't that great (Honey and Marie are not 'ready for primetime' as it is) so she has to overcome that as well. And after winning the title from Alina (in nefarious fashion), she's even more under the gun. It's kind of a twist on the 'Man Under Pressure' type of storyline from C-Verse lore. (Rehashing the actual storyline would be Alexa Bliss 'This Is Your Life' levels of awful IMO). Secondary goals are developing my young talent like Black Diamond, Felicia Luck, Sonnaz Shah, Spider Isako, Coco Malloy, DupliKate, and so on.</p><p> </p><p>

I have to have a focus or else I'm just not motivated to play. I don't autobook ever so every segment is carefully thought through and has a purpose. The match and angle foci allow me to get a lot of people exposure and in-ring work who may not necessarily have gotten that in TEW16's system.</p><p> </p><p>

My suggestion is, start each save with a goal, something to focus your attention on. Once you start, I think you'll find that focus will drive you forward.</p>
