1. I disabled storylines (I run them anyway, and they rate pretty well - like in the high seventies)
 2. I do have it on...but it doesnt share much. I have great announcers... there are no injuries or bad chemistry....no "4th meet up penalties". Are there penalties known to the game, but DON'T show up in the dirt sheet? (based on the fact it's WWE...a popularity-based fed?)
 3. I imagine I should know this, but I can't recall the answer: I am playing WWE (2001) and I find I'm booking matches where both participants show a performance of over 90, but the match scores in the low 70s. How can this be???? Matches are in the US, so it's not a language barrier issue or a low-pop location issue...
 4.
WWE's 2003 Royal Rumble just completed.

The tag team of Goldberg and Taijiri (who apparently have great chemistry!) took the tag titles from Edge and Rhino. Edge and Rhino were a fearsome team, but there seemed to be more opportunities for good matches in the "chase". Goldberg and Taijiri recently unmasked the Noble Ninjas to reveal Jimmy Yang and Jaimie Noble.

Kurt Angle defeated William Regal for the Intercontinental title in a fantastic match.

Big Show vs Undertaker ended with Show getting himself intentionally DQ's, and then continuing the beat down. This was our attempt at a "double turn" and it went well. (Turned Show heel, turned Taker face)

Batista retained the World Title in a rematch vs. Chris Benoit that went

24 minutes.

The 30 Royal Rumble was won by STING, who surprised the crowd with his appearance (after 7 months in rehab.). Sting tossed out HHH for the win, securing a feud with both Lesnar and HHH

BTW - as of this writing, Evolution did not form.

* HHH is managed by Stephanie MeMahon and has employed Batista (and formerly Chuck Palumbo) as his muscle.

* Meanwhile, Ric Flair manages the Age of Excitement: Randy Orton, Billy Gunn and Jason York. (Formerly Christian York). Sean O'Haire was part of the team but left when Arn Anderson was hired as a Road Agent.

 5. Forgot to mention: "Why do you keep pushing Japanese talent? This is the WWE! They're not over here in the States...!!!"
 6.
SummerSlam 2002 is in the books.

Chris Jericho has won the I/C title and ended Christian's 10 month reign.

This was a face vs face match, but both were intent on beating the other after a few non-decisions on RAW

The Dudleyz regained their Tag Titles from Big Show and RVD. This was a 4-corners match that also featured Booker T & Dustin Rhodes in one corner, Stevie Richards & Val Venis in the other.

(The next night on RAW, Booker and Dustin agreed to wrestle singles matches for some time before re-teaming)

Edge defeated William Regal in a submission match, confirming his spot as the "King" of Pro Wrestling. (To be clear - Edge won 2001 KOTR, but Lesnar won in 2002. Edge being Edge is not letting the title go....)

Undertaker defeated White Angel Christopher Daniels when OVW's Leviathan interfered. (Leviathan has not been brought up from OVW yet, but we borrow him periodically when we need to call upon his meanness...)

Scott Steiner defeated Billy Gunn in a chain match. Kevin Nash and Ric Flair tried to distract Steiner, and after the match Kurt Angle ran down to Scott's aid.

In the Main Event, The Rock won the World Title from HHH in a Triangle match that also featured Brock Lesnar. Lesnar was pinned, and HHH went NUTS on both Rocky and VINCE! (this set up Vince's face turn on RAW the next night)

In all, it was a loaded show and open the doors to some new match ups in Autumn leading to Survivor Series....

 7. Ever since I discovered TEW, I only played RW Mods...but last week I checked into WLW and OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS ROSTER!! Started playing it lat weekend and can hardly put it down. Good thing I have a full time job!
 8. I often get opinions about other wrestlers from my Veteran wrestlers. I am wondering if their insight is valuable, or if it's really just showcasing the Veteran's likes and dislikes based on personality? Does their feedback hold any water?
 9.
It's January 2002 in the WWE.

WCW has not folded yet, but Vince has brought in Flair, Nash, Sting and Kanyon...all separately...to bolster star power.

Many development stars have been promoted to the Main Roster in the last 4 weeks. Hogan and X-pac Waltman have come in, also.

After months of seeing it's top talent go to the WWE, ECW finally DID see it's demise, and Vince signed Paul Heyman.

What does it all mean?

1) Ric Flair has offered to help "the future of wrestling" to learn their way around the business, in a Manager's (face) role. Simultaneously, Heyman has cursed the "Corporate face of Pro Wrestling" and has promised a Hardcore Revolution like never seen before. Which of these 2 will dictate the future of pro wrestling?

2) HHH has won the Rumble, and has put Nash and Xpac around him to ensure he wins Kurt Angle's World Title at Mania.

3) With the Undertaker seemingly outgrowing his own Army of Darkness, odds are he'll move on to feuds with Hogan, Big Show and Test to prove he's the BEST "big man".

4) Edge and Christian have turned their feud over the I/C title into a series of uncontrollable brawls. One will win, one will be broken

5) Orton, Lesnar, Jindrak. EZ Money and Eliz Skipper have all moved to the main roster and are exciting the fans with great matches and big wins.

2002 has never been more exciting for the WWE....

 10.
It's December 2001 in the WWE

The Rock has left to make a movie, and Austin in out at the end of the month due to me and Vince not catering to his bad attitude. (He chose not to renew)

Kurt Angle is World Champion.

HHH is the Top Contender, Big Show is also near the top due to gaining favor with Vince, and the Army of Darkness has re-risen with Taker, Kane, Christopher Daniels and James Mitchell.

WCW has not folded yet, but last night I signed Flair, Sting, Nash and Kanyon because their contracts were due to renew and WCW could not offer them guaranteed money. Flair will have a slow debut as an "elder statesman" who gradually drives himself into competing. The other 3 should debut at the Rumble.

Edge is the I/C Champion. He won KOTR back in June and has since been playing up the "King" role, with Trish Stratus as his Queen, William Regal as his Advisor and Sir Charles (formerly the Godfather) as his Royal Statesman. (they tried to recruit Crash Holly as their Court Jester but he flipped out on them and has been a major menace). Christian and Chris Jericho have also been thorns in the side of the Royal Court.

We're very excited for 2002 in the WWE...

 11.
I'm running a 2001 WWF save where ECW and WCW are still alive (it starts in January 2001). The problem I'm having is that all the guys up top have been up top since 1999 - and the guys in Development who are ready to come up (Lensar, Orton, etc) historically didnt arrive until 2002.

My gut says it would be fun to bring them up early and flesh out the roster...but then I'm concerned they'll ultimately get beat too soon by the established Main Eventers and lose their luster.

It's quite the dilemma....

 12.
AI Skewed in WCW vs WWF?

I'm noticing some lack or parity when I play as one of the "Big Two" and wanted to see if anyone noticed it.

I've run a 1994 RW mod as both WWF and WCW.

No matter which company I play as, at least 50% of my 'stars' neglect to re-sign with me, instead joining the competition. In EITHER case I treat them well, match any offer (unless Vince/Eric caps me) and ensure there are no morale issues in question.

I also noticed that, when I play as WCW, WWF builds up a huge roster, but only runs 1-hour RAWs with only TWO matches per show. With so many workers being left off the show each week, how are they not bottoming out in way of morale and looking to leave???

So I was curious if the game intentionally 'slants' towards the competition in order to make it a little harder and a little more competitive.

Anyone have any insight on either case?

 13. Its October 1996 in WCW (started in 1994) World Champion - Randy Savage US Champion = Vader (just want the belt in a triangle match where Shane Douglas was champion and Ron Simmons was other participant) Tag Team Champion are Fear, Inc. (Dan Spivey & Terror, who is Paul LeVesque.) They're managed by Kevin Sullivan. TV Champion = Bobby Eaton Cruiserweight Champion = Dean Malenko
 14.
Does winning a title give a wrestler any additional popularity points?

I know wins and losses in general affect popularity, but what about title wins?

 15. << Looking for some suggestions on what to do with Jushin Liger. He held my WWF Lightweight title for quite a while until a retuning X-Pac took it off of him. He had some time away and now he’s tutoring TAKA. Not sure who to feud him with afterwards, though. Preferably with someone who can put on a great match with him. >> What about pairing Liger with n equally popular Japanese star, and making Taka somewhat of a "young boy" role? I think a Japanese team would have awesome matches with Hardys, E&C and Dudleys...
 16.
<< I need a storyline to write my Rumble winner out of the ME of WM. not currently sure who will win, but I was thinking about going down the Stone Cold being run over by Rikishi type route. >>

I've had this kind of situation before.

What I did was put the Champion in severe feud...something that would INSIST on being resolve at WM. At the same time, but the Rumble Winner in a feud as well. (Maybe the RR runner up attacks him? Maybe teh win is controversial?)

This way, it "makes sense" to have the Champion and the RR Winner so wrapped up in their own isht that you can 'delay' them facing off.

(OR, do like I did, and make it a triangle match so that the Rumble Winner has an excuse to petition for a single match vs. the champion later on)

<< Also, I’m losing Vader and LOD after WM as they are freelancers and want to move on. I was going to do a loser leaves town between LOD and NAO, but I’m stuck on what to do for Vader. >>

I know it's anti-climatic, but sometimes a good, solid loss is all you need for a guy to go away. I had Luger setting off to make a movie, and needed to do SOMETHING with him before he left. So he won a few matches to get a World title match, lost the title match in a very competitive fashion, and then just...went away for a little while.

The other option is the "injury angle"...but it's hard to be big enough to hurt Vader enough to make him go away for a while...

 17. WCW March 1996 World Title = Randy Savage (won tournament in late January when Hogan vacated) US Champion = Jeff Jarrett (Beat Booker in the tournament finals after Savage vacated to accept World title) Tag Champions = Arn Anderson and Mongo McMichaels. Cruiserweight Champion - Chris Candido (Who was awarded the title after Eddie Guerrero took an injury. Eddie is back now and they will feud over the disputed title.) TV Champion = Terry Funk (Funk defeated One Man Gang, who previously beat Cactus Jack)
 18.
WCW January 1996

Its a tough go for us right now:

World Title = Vacant

(Hogan asked for his release but wouldnt drop the title first. #WhattaJerk)

US Champion = Randy Savage

(He's going to win the vacant World title soon & vacate THIS one)

Tag Champions = Sting and Scott Steiner

(Steiner BROTHERS were supposed to win belts, but Ric took an injury. Now, 2 months into their title reign, Sting is leaving in 4 weeks to film a movie..)

Cruiserwight Champion - Eddie Guererro

(Who injured his back at the Starcade last month. I was going to have him vacate the title, but the next morning Hogan bailed! So now I have to hide him in multi-man matches until he heals in 2 months...or until I give it to someone else)

TV Champion = Cactus Jack

(the only champ on my roster with no drama!!!)

 19.
Four Match Max

Given that there is a penalty when 2 workers face each other in 4 (or more) single matches within a short period of time...does anyone know how long you have to wait - roughly - before they can start facing each other again without penalty?

I am thinking in terms of feuds that circle around the World Title.

They feud leading up...then one wins a title...the other is a contender...so I want to keep the option open for them to wrestle again!

 20.
No NWO

I'm playing the 1994 WCW Save, and now it's January of 1996

Hall, Nash, Bret Hart and Waltman all neglected to sign with me...so they stay in WWF

This means, there is no NWO as we know it...and I dont want to do the story line if NONE of the original members (other than Hogan) are in. In fact, seems to be a better/bigger challenge to book 1996 WCW WITHOUT any kind of Invasion angle...

On the other side, Jeff Jarrett has done a MASTERFUL job of playing Savage and Hogan against each other. They keep kicking the crap out of each other and Jarrett keeps picking up the scraps. As of this writing, I've not decided who comes out as the "heel" or the "baby" since now there is no NWO to pull Hogan in to.

 21.
I have 2 wrestlers slated to leave the company next month to make a movie. I understand how it affects my booking...but will it affect his popularity (or anything else) upon his return?

Is this a potential game changer, or just a random occurrence to make you more creative w/your booking?

 23.
Interviews

Is there any "value" in the notification that so-and-so gave a radio interview?

I keep seeing the one about getting jitters before a match, or when entering a new territory. But is this telling me anything I can use (or choose to not use) in my day-to-day game play? Any way to interact with the information or is this just filler?

 24.
Owner Goal - "Over" score

If one of your Owner Goals is to get a worker to a certain "Over" score, does this mean only in the Home location?

Example - you are playing as WCW and Bischoff wants Dustin Rhodes to reach a 71 Over score. Does this mean (at least) a 71 in the South East region?
