<p>Yay I can book angles now with this new update!</p><p> </p><p> Also, neat that my concerns thread (that I spent over an hour on) about a "public beta" gets locked while I'm asleep so it can slowly drift off into non-existence.</p>

<p>Going off of the Development journals for product, the first paragraph really upsets me. Basically what I'm reading is "A lot of people don't seem to really understand it, so we're going to dumb it down." This post acts like there was never any preset products in TEW 2016, and that you could only go pick from None to Key Feature on all 12 parts of the product. There is no reason to dumb it down and then take away functions from people who actually know what they are doing. You can keep them both in, and hide the "make your own" product behind an Advanced tab, so people who are "hard at understanding" won't have to worry about it.</p><p> </p><p> Also there really isn't a reason why we should have to rely on Adam Ryland approving or denying people's ideas for products to put in the game, when we had an option before to make our own products. What if Adam Ryland doesn't think a product that was suggested is good enough to go into the game, or too close to another one already made? The player that requested the addition just has to "deal with it, play how Adam wants you to play"? That doesn't seem quite user friendly.</p><p> </p><p> It also stops people from even trying to experiment with certain products because what if someone comes up with an idea for something they want to have their fed do today, but they request it and it takes days for it to get implemented? There shouldn't be a wait time. Give us an advanced tab and let us make our own. Adam, you can keep putting in more presets by request, but you've got to let us make our own too.</p><p> </p><p> There is also no reason why segment lengths should be locked behind preset products as well. I've had issues with this where I booked a Royal Rumble match (a 60 minute match) at the Royal Rumble PPV and it's got a terrible rating (under 40) because the match was too long for a PG Rated Sports Entertainment Crowd. A preset product clearly made for WWE doesn't let you do WWE's biggest match of the year without getting killed in ratings. I can't even have The Rock, who is a 97 mic, 99 charisma, have a 10 minute promo because it's too long for the crowd.</p>

I never get 100 matches anyways, always 99s.

There may be no categories on WMMA5, but the buttons are a lot easier to read because there is a bit more separation and no optical illusions messing with your vision as you look at all the buttons. WMMA5's office page is also completely designed better. The only similarities I see is the fact it's 1366x768 and there's a quick menu on the bottom.</p><p> </p><p> The Internet page from WMMA5 is literally just the internet page from TEW2016, which is one of those "if it aint broke, dont fix it" things. Same reason why it's in TEW2020. The only change is they moved a menu from the top to the right, to put up a banner.</p><p> </p><p> And the home page, come on fam...</p>

I love the ideas of promises. It'll be a nice way to build up stars here and there.

It's a lot less "on the go booking" as you have to book shows at least a month in advance, so it's kinda neat to book 2 months of shows and then watch the world go while your shows go on too.</p><p> </p><p> I've had multiple games were I've gotten like 5+ years into the future, it gets addicting.</p>

Lol try and book a royal rumble match, you have to go thru and select each person one at a time instead of just clicking an add button like TEW 2016. Why even get rid of that feature? And then your crowd gets pissed because the match is too long. ITS A DAMN RUMBLE MATCH, IT'S GONNA GO LONGER THAN 10 MINS. ADAM RYLAND FIX UR DAMN GAME.

I was able to get Reign of Terror to work as long as I booked as WWE, but you can't book angles without it crashing, so it's kinda worthless.

Khabib was out so I was like, "Ferguson has ran thru the entire divison, let's just bring in Floyd Mayweather for a fight for the interim title" and of course this happens Khabib KOed Mayweather tho when they fought, and I never did get a Ferguson vs Khabib fight and it's June 2024.

They didn't remove it, you just need to enable it in the preferences.

What's so upsetting about this is that we have a week until the game fully releases. We aren't going to get all the right fixes, but if the private testers had actually brought up a lot of these problems, like UI, products, etc, maybe they would have been worked on.

there is no way to create a product type in the editor. that's so stupid.

Surely don't like having to click the small x button in the corner to close everything, instead of just hitting a regular close button at the bottom like I'm used to.

I think there is a select amount of mods that do work. I've tried 2 different mods and got one to let me book a show, but it crashed as soon as I tried to book an angle.

someone on /wooo/ brought up a good point "My impression is that the people from the boards Ryland hired as testers are the people who play the game non-stop and are the hyper-dedicated people who know the ins and out of the mechanics of the game like the back of their hand. I think the problem with that though is that those kind of people are the ones whose main focus is on stats and numbers and that type of thing. That lead to the testers not complaining about how the new version of the game looked and not taking into account what the more casual players of the game look for. I think it's only now that the demo has come out that both the devs and the testers are realising they had a blind spot when it came to the visuals. Most people are happy with how the game has been improved mechanically, but as I said myself on the board, the visuals could have been better. You can see the testers themselves clearly outing themselves by constantly defending the new visuals as making it easier to see the stats, which again, what they care about the most, but everyone else who is less hardcore as them finds it offputting."

You have to disable it in preferences, disable "new style coloured lists"

I don't know about you guys, but I don't think, as the head booker of TNA, I should be able to talk to WWE workers about using steroids.
