1.
So I've noticed in my RTG game that GSW is signing a lot guys to exclusive PPA contracts. This either never before, or I've never really had guys they've been interested in, but I'm wondering if a company can develop this type of signing habit?

Other than gaining Cherry Bomb as booker, nothing's changed for them, and I have no existing relationship with them. I am, however, part of the COTT alliance which they are not.

 2. The one thing I get annoyed at by Owens, and I think it was actually Bret Hart that pointed it out, is when he limps out to the ring after a brutal match, and performs without a hint of a leg injury. It's a cool touch that always gets kind of nullified by not performing with it after.
 3. So I just checked the COTT title history in my road to glory game, and Charlie Thatcher is the current champ. The problem is that he won it while working for NYCW, but hasn't been employed anywhere in over 8 months. Despite this, he's still defending the belt just about every month. How is this possible?

 5.
2020 saw GDW grow by leaps and bounds in the South East. Though they're likely a year away from regional, they do regularly sell out the legendary Rainbow Bar & Grill. Now that they're solidly making money each month, a few big signings lent a more complete look to the overall roster. Road agent Steve Flash, color man Doc Messing, and brawlers Nick Booth and Bradley Blaze coupled with increased production values across the board means that the little bar room show that could is starting to become a real promotion, so much so that they've entered into the top 30 promotions in the world, peaking at #28.

The wrestling throughout the year was solid, backed by stellar road agent from Flash. Standout Seth Whitehead was stolen away by GWS on an exclusive contract, and his partner James Diaz went on to have several great one on one contests. Nick Booth came in like a bat out of hell teaming with Bradley Blaze, and the pair, along with Cody Lane, all qualified for a title shot by year's end. In a raucousfour-way match, Nick Booth came out on top, holding the gold high for everyone to see.

Desperate to earn his title back after a year with a bare waist, Lane buckled down and spent all Christmas morning watching old tape in an attempt to improve his psychology.

(On a side note, I'm getting extremely lucky with these rolls. 6.
2019 was huge for GDW and Cody Lane! The addition of a true road agent in Roz Laren saw heralded strides in both ring work and earnings. With Lane at the helm, GDW finally made the jump to a small sized promotion.

Multiple storylines brought in a maximum of 269 fans at one point to view the athletic contests in the South East. The tag titles were traded around a fair bit, finally landing squarely around the waists of Seth Whitehead and future legend James Diaz.

The World Championship was defended against all comers by Cody Lane, including Texas Hangman and Annihilus. But when he defended the belt against American Elemental II and Vic Hernandez in a triple threat bout, it was Elemental that came away holding the belt high.

In an effort to match the fan favorite abilities of Elemental, Lane dedicated time to viewing classic sitcoms, and saw his wholesome performance rate skyrocket.

2016 Summary

Best Match: Cody Lane & Logan Wolfsbaine defeated Christopher Ball and Robin DaLay, 37

End of Year Perk: "A Link to the Past," +5 Chain Wrestling Skill

2017 Summary

Best Match: Seth Whitehead defeated Cody Lane, 40

End of Year Perk: “So, Tell Me About Your Mother…” +5 to Psychology

2018 Summary

Best Match: American Elemental II & Cody Lane defeated Vic Hernandez & Jules Night, 48

End of Year Perk: “Flash, AAAHH!!” +5 Flashiness

2019 Summary

Best Match: American Elemental II defeated Cody Lane and Vic Hernandez for the GDW Championship, 61

End of Year Perk: “Say Your Prayers, Drink Your Milk And Take Your Vitamins,” +34 to Wholesome Gimmicks

 7.
2018 is in the books folks! Cody Lane and GDW saw impressive growth this year, performing for as many as 55 mildly interested bar patrons! Recovering from his loss of the tag titles, Cody Lane put together a fine year, going so far as to steal the GDW Championship away from the young Seth Whitehead. Unfortunately, that means everyone's gunning for him, and he's unlikely to find backup now that tag partner Logan Wolfsbaine has been snatched up by TCW.

Throughout out the year, multiple wrestlers seemed to appear almost at random, offering to work for small change and beers, and their appearances led to an increase in shows.

In a show of apparent egotism, Lane has positioned himself as company figurehead. When confronted, it's said that he explained to roster members that they all sucked, and the one's that didn't weren't sticking around much longer anyway. The locker room was said to be upset, but agreed with him in the end. To prove the decision was wise, Lane decided to to watch Flash Gordon repeatedly, and somehow, against all odds, saw his in ring flashiness increase.

 8. 2017 was a good year for Cody Lane and GDW. They upped their show count to an impressive 8 and performed for as many as 31 souls at a time. Despite the good fortune, Lane still reportedly applied for the open booking job at CILL, though he did not get hired. Though he worked did work this holiday season, Lane took the time to watch tape and saw a marked improvement to his psychology. 2016 Summary Best Match: Cody Lane & Logan Wolfsbaine defeated Christopher Ball and Robin DaLay, 37 End of Year Perk: "A Link to the Past," +5 Chain Wrestling Skill 2017 Summary Best Match: Seth Whitehead defeated Cody Lane, 40 End of Year Perk: “So, Tell Me About Your Mother…” +5 to Psychology

I picked them all up for my dev territory. Quentin Queen, Alduous Blackfriar (Matthew DeVille), Curtis Shaw (The Lord of the Ring), and the aforementioned Whitehead.

They literally only kept their worst graduate of all time with Jeremie Courtney. Not sure why either.

Huh, I also picked up all four in my SWF game. Blackfriar is doing leading a cult of Hellion and Scythe on my B show, Whitehead is teaming with Nick Booth and current B show tag champ, and Curtis Shaw is still sitting down in development. Queen I recently let go, but I'll probably get him back somewhere down the line. He got some good messages from veteran roster members, but I just let his momentum die too much to justify recovering when I could just call someone else up to replace him.

 10.
Year one of Grey Dog Wrestling is in the books! Owner Marvin Earnest and booker Cody Lane took their show all across the south east, getting whatever tips they could from bar regulars. They ran a grand total of 6 shows over the course of that time.

The GDW Tag Team Championship was awarded to Cody Lane and Logan Wolfsbaine on their inaugural show, after the duo dubbed The Wild Bandits bested Seth Whitehead and Lucas Danger. Over the course of the year they would defend those titles against varying combinations of Whitehead, Christopher Ball, and RObin DaLay, closing out the year as champs.

Annihilus captured the GDW World Championship, though 99.99999999999% of the world is unlikely to know who their champion is. He also finished the year as champ, beating such names as Hawkeye Calhoun, Garry the Entertainer, and Cody Lane.

Always devoted to honing his craft, Cody Lane spent his holiday season training his chain wrestling skill, and is sure to come back with more fire in the next year.

2016 Summary

Best Match: Cody Lane & Logan Wolfsbaine defeated Christopher Ball and Robin DaLay, 37

End of Year Perk: A link to the past, +5 Chain Wrestling Skill

 11. Year 1 begins for Cody Lane as he takes over booking in the South East US-based Grey Dog Wrestling promotion. As he was hired by a pencil necked lawyer-type with information that could be described as vague at best, it wasn't until he showed up to work that he discovered his new boss to be renowned play by play man Marvin Earnest. Together, the two are expected to bring a brand of old school wrestling to bars across the Florida panhandle! http://i.imgur.com/4itdeP8.png
 12.
...And in a shocking twist, USPW have basically raided NOTBPW's roster. They've stolen Cameron Vessey, Erik Strong, Jared Johnson, Johnny Bloodstone, Sean Deeley, The Natural, and Tim Westybrook.

From TCW they've got Aaron Andrews, Benny Benson, Eddie Peak, Guide, Jay Chord, Joshua Taylor, Mighty Mo, and Troy Tornado.

They've got less from SWF, only getting Des Davids and Bret Starr.

Right now they're the #1 promotion, ahead of SWF despite constantly falling from national to cult and back again while SWF sits comfortably at national. I'm pretty sure this is due to Reverie expansion.

The #2 promotion is 21CW, who also drop back and forth from national to cult, despite having no competition in the UK. Tommy Cornell is their figurehead, but they've lost cousin Eddie to SWF.

#3 is SWF, who really just need to figure out a way to expand out of North America. They could likely get on Reverie if they tried. I did it in a personal game, so that option's there.

I'm keeping an eye on RAW now that Golden's there, but I don't have much hope for them getting bigger since Australia's got no spillover effects and The ASN network has no expansion narratives in place. Golden's off shooting another movie, so when he returns he's likely to be the biggest star in all of Australia by the end of the year.

 13.
Running a watcher game right now, and as could be expected Rocky Golden was embroiled in scandal the first year. What isn't expected is that it came when he was nearing a return from injury, had gone off to make movies, and SWF had just stolen him from TCW. Lo and behold, before he even sets foot in an SWF ring, he makes the fun of the disabled. Cut to three 2019, and who is he working for?

RAW. I'm gonna keep an eye on this one and see how they develop from here on out.

 14.
I can't figure out why TCW passed on hiring Seth Whitehead when he graduated their dojo. They've kept on Jeremie Courtney and hired Titan of all people. Whitehead fits their product better than either of those two, I think.

Oh well, he makes a good pickup for regional promotions, alongside Gidayu Katou.

 15.

MAW closed down in the 2nd year in my game =(

MAW's my favorite promotion, so I gave them a government grant in the second year of my SWF game. It appears that the computer has no chill when it comes to production. At least they're getting my cheap development cast offs now, though.

 16. It comes down to which brand ends up being booked better. There was a time at the beginning of the brand when the Smackdown title was head and shoulders above Raw's. You had guys like Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, and Eddie Guerroro while Raw was home to HHH's reign of doom.
 17. If you go to change their pictures, go to CVFP_MaskedMale, and there's about 130 separate masked alts to use
 18. Well damn. I picked up Edd Stone from TCW when he had a shattered knee while he still had 6 months or so of recovery time. Gave him surgery, it succeeded, and cut him down to a 46 day recovery time. When he's finally better, I put him in a feud as Davis Wayne's first real challenger for the Shooting Star title, and he immediately pops positive for pain killers. Now he's in rehab, and by the time I'll be able to use him again it'll be even longer than his original projected return from injury.
 19.

Is Ross Henry an American football player or a football (American soccer) player? His bio says he played for the Colorado Rapids (which is a soccer team in our universe), but he's American. Are the Colorado Rapids a football team or a soccer team in the CornellVerse world?

I'd lean toward American football, if only based on his size as a muscular heavyweight (290-320 lbs in game).

 20.
Something I've always had an issue with:

How do you deal with a main eventer like Joey Minnesota getting morale issues? Most guys can be curbed by praising their performances or giving bonuses, but Minn makes enough that the 10,000 bonus limit doesn't dent his morale no matter how many times you repeat it, and I can't get any sort of bonus from praising him. I'd give him a vacation, but he's my champ, and I kind of need him.

 21.
Just did a double turn with the champ Joey Morgan and Remo. The GM Adrian Garcia decided that Joey was his guy and cost Remo the title in their rematch from Supreme Challenge. Unfortunately for Remo, you only get one rematch in SWF, so he's feuding with Garcia, who's starting light by throwing Bear Bekowski at him. Morgan, meanwhile is taking on Angry Gilmore as his first face challenger.

Lower on the card, I'm building up Mikey Lau as a replacement figurehead for the rapidly aging Bruce. Lau's charisma has rocket up about 16 points in less than a year, and continues to rise.

I'm a little unsure about the move now, though, because I just checked onKirk Jameson, who's been teaming with Jimmy Hernandez on the low card while I build them to the titles, and his SQ made the jump from 94 to 100 a few months back, and I'll probably build him to the next figurehead slot.

No idea how he made the 6 point jump, honestly. He never had a random event that would have caused it. He was in development for about a month, and that's it.

 22. Umm, just asking for a...friend...but how do I get a .png onto the C-Verse background?
 23.

Personally, I'd utilize her to boost an up-and-coming talent to the main event.

I'd slot her as the manager for Natural Storm -- both Rayne and Howard are simply too good to be stuck in the midcard, and she can lead them to the titles before facilitating a break-up down the line -- putting over a "newer team" and elevating them in the process.

She makes a ton of sense as manager for Julius Moor -- a concentrated effort would be needed to develop him as a star. I'd consider pairing her with a debuting Ross Henry -- possibly giving him the Goldberg treatment -- and working slowly towards. Joss Thompson is a great fit, and Xavi Ferrera is another hire that can be paired easily with Dawn.

My only other thought is using her as an Authority Figure -- she has the skills to do it, for sure, but I'm not sure how you'd implement her given recent developments.

1. The Dirty White Boys (Grease Hogg & Lead Belly) come gimmicked and fairly over -- and are classic big men who will fit in well on the roster.

2. The Philly Blondes (Ash Campbell & Nelson Callum) are both a good fit -- young, charismatic and solid (but not great) basics.

3. Death Row (Knuckles & Shady K) are cohesive partners who are over compared to similar acts, and fit the "USPW Mold".

4. The American Cobras (Marvel Malloy & Storm Spillane) have solid basics and start fairly over in '16.

5. The Dynamite Express (Syd Collier & Cameron Jones) can, with some luck, can ascend near the main event.

I'll second Death Row and The Dirty White Boys as immediate hires. Not only are they already decently over, but they'll make excellent muscle for a heel and replace some of the aging big men on the roster.

 24. I think the best thing about Nia is that she's actually strong. You see a lot of women her size that are almost purely fat, but she's clearly got muscle under that bodysuit with the way she countered Bayley's guillotine into a stalling vertical suplex position.
 25. I like to give the RCI to a guy I plan on giving the title to later in the year. I use it as a sort of MitB, where they can challenge freely anytime in the next year. Sayers Ali is a good pick up due to great stats and good menace, as is are my Skye, and Fro Sure makes a great future figurehead. I'm not sure if you can afford to hire them all, it all depends on what you upgrade with your production.
