  1. Impact World Title Eddie Edwards {C} vs. Sami Callihan Too early for the switch. Eddie’s a strong champ anyways so I’m eager to see him get a proper run. Ultimate X Match X-Division Title Ace Austin {C} vs. TJ Perkins vs. Chris Bey Dogging Chris Bey, but I think TJP wins to get under Ace’s skin. Impact World Tag Titles Open Challenge The North {C} vs. ??? I’d love it if MCMG returned as they did in real life, but I could see King’s Ransom Or a low level team get the shot. Last Shot Ladder Match #1 Contendership for X-Division Title Rob Van Dam vs. Willie Mack Thinking Willie takes it “Mr. Impact Wrestling” Moose vs. Petey Williams My man Moose Deonna Purrazzo and Tenille Dashwood vs. Jordynne Grace and Alisha Edwards Alisha eats the pin/submission.
  2. Started an AEW game from their first episode to now. Currently in mid-February and already I've cheated. Boosted my popularity in order to get Becky Lynch to sign. Kept the popularity for a bit to sign better broadcasting deals before editing my popularity back down. Edited worker popularity and stats to better reflect changes. Britt Baker getting better in heel work and entertainment skills, Hangman Page and MJF getting better entertainment skills, Scorpio Sky getting a minor pop boost to be midcarder after his series with Jericho failed to get him over. Tried signing Brodie Lee so that he could be the leader of Dark Order, only for him to sign with WWE at the last moment. So I went into the editor, shortened his contract to a day, waited for him to be released then put in a bid. He's set to debut in March. Shortened the contracts of everyone who was released back in April so that it mirrored real life. This also has the added benefit of boosting my own rosters.

  6. Glad to see this continuing on. Can’t wait to see what Chapter 12 has in store.
  7. <p>My RW RTG has been interesting. After getting rid of the cash donation that Owner Kevin Nash originally gave me, NXT and WWE released a strong number of talent. Of course it came after my first show, so I wasn't able to get them on the card. I did send out contracts, and all but two (Keith Lee and Velveteen Dream) responded, so it's all good.</p><p> </p><p> The bigger news is that Smash was looking for a head booker about a week after those contracts were signed, so on a whim I applied. They've given me the chance to book, all the better as it's a Tiny promotion rather than Insignificant. Canada is a different beast compared to America, and I'm looking forward to the challenge. Now, let's see the roll.</p><p> </p><p> 24. “Aerial Assassin” You have devoted yourself to climbing that turnbuckle, +5 to your Aerial or Flashiness skill</p>
  8. I just edited back down to the 955 I’d had before then. I’m keeping a close eye on finances with this and will edit it back down if this happens again.
  9. I’m still new to TEW 20 and the RTG as a whole, but I had something happen within a week in game that caught me off guard. Playing a RW game I imported from 16, and Kevin Nash ended up as the owner. Immediately I get a message saying he’s invested in the company, and now I’ve got a quarter of a million for finances. Which, given I haven’t even run a show yet is mind blowing to me.

  12. I remember following Chikara up until the “shutdown” in 2012, finding myself enjoying the story driven nature of a small Indy. Recently got back into it thanks to IWTV and Chikara’s Action Arcade, so I’m curious as to what comes next in this diary. Consider me on board!
  13. My New Japan USA game. Currently in March 2021 and things have shaped up to be different. In little over a yeast, I bought out MARVELOUS, Zero-1, GCW, as well as opening two development companies in USA and British Isles. Managed to get Marty Scurll to 90+ pop, with him constantly delivering 100 rated segments. This was the first time I’d really gone far with a game and built the roster up, so it’s one I’m looking to continue in TEW 2020. I even bought out NOAH in March, adding them as a brand exclusive to Japan. Thinking of splitting away from New Japan and going through a rebranding so I can take the fight to them as well.

  17. <p>I've got a few ideas in mind.</p><p> </p><p> - Definitely want to explore the Cornellverse and get a feel for it. I've only done real world mods so getting a chance to dive into C-Verse is exciting. Maybe do CZCW and try to build them up, as I enjoy reading about them in diaries.</p><p> </p><p> - Continue my AEW game. I've managed to get to #3 in the world and want to try building them up into legit contenders to WWE. Maybe get to the point where I can make a second brand for the women, set the company to Integrated, and put them on a a strong network. I'm also looking to starting my own network and buying out smaller companies to either use as development systems or for content on the AEW Network.</p><p> </p><p> - RTG using the real world mod. Been eyeing possible areas, with Australia an area I'd want to really try. British Isles and Canada could also be fun.</p><p> </p><p> - New Japan USA, with the eventuality of splintering off and possibly going to war with New Japan.</p><p> </p><p> - NXT</p><p> </p><p> - The NWA becomes an alliance once again, with Impact and CWFH as members. I'd be playing from Impact's position, since a female World Champion could possibly lead to the women in NWA looking for more opportunity and advancement.</p><p> </p><p> - I know I'm going to try a WWE game, but perhaps do it as a split? Not sure how I'd do that, but I'm eager to try it out.</p>
  18. Started AEW from their first show in October to now. Tried to keep it close to reality as possible, save for making the Lucha Bros the first tag team champions instead of SCU. Nyla Rose was let go after an altercation with Riho, so I've hired Madison Eagles to take over that role instead. It seems to be doing well, though it's only been two weeks since it happened. Also joining are Nicole Savoy, Nicole Matthews, Kaitlyn, Kiera Hogan, and Kana as the first steal from WWE. The Women's division is steady growing on Dark, which should hopefully be fine until I catch up with the real world and then start to divulge onto my own path. I had set Allie to turn and manage The Butcher and The Blade, but her divorce from The Blade put the kibosh on that. Instead, I'm debating on whether Nicole Matthews can fill that role or if I get another manager for them entirely. Brandi is still face, as I didn't want to turn her heel for the Nightmare Collective only to turn her face a few months later. She also has great chemistry with Cody, so I'm fine leaving them as is. Awesome Kong and Mel are both heels, albeit without a mouthpiece yet. Given that Kong gets written out and I want to stick to that, I'm sure both women will be jobbers to get the women over. Shanna and Sadie Gibbs especially, as both women have great upside. Opened a development territory and started putting people in. First graduate? Human Tornado. So far I've tried to limit myself from jumping at possible WWE talent, as I want to make sure they fit the style rather than just use them for the pop boost. Ricochet is my highest profile signing yet, though the Usos and The New Day (Big E and Kofi) would surpass him. Both teams would be a huge boost and could possibly help out other tags, so I'm hopeful. Doesn't hurt that I'd be signing away the current WWE Champion as well. Will probably pick up Brodie Lee and Matt Hardy as well, since the original plan was to book up to Blood and Guts as AEW did before splintering off. No one's even made a move for Brodie, which given his 50 pop across the board surprises me. Small hiccups aside (not signing PAC to a written until after Full Gear), i t's been a fun game. I'm enjoying how the game world is progressing and what challenges are being thrown at me. Hell, it gave me Taka and Taichi as my Dark mainstay tag team!
  19. The One Where We Get a Job Wouldn't put it past him lol. But we'll find out what happens with Kid Cyclone soon enough. _____________________________________ I'd sent out numerous applications, hoping and praying that someone would take a chance. I mean, this was wrestling. Taking a chance on a 19 year old shouldn't have been so difficult... unless that 19 year old had pissed off an important figure in professional wrestling. I couldn't find a job on the West Coast, and the rest of the indy scene wasn't as kind. AAW, EVOLVE, MLW, Innovate... even IWA: Mid South, and Ian Rotten is a known scumbag. Still, all politely declined, telling me that I needed more seasoning before I could join the roster. How I was supposed to get experience when no one would hire me was something they couldn't explain. Still, I wasn't going to crumble. If anything, it made me more determined to succeed, even if I had to force my way into things. I briefly considered opening my own company, but that idea died. My reputation was already shot, there was no guarantee that people would sign on. And running a promotion at a young age was sure to drive me insane. No, I had to get signed somehow. It was just a matter of where. Days passed. I started getting more and more desperate, wondering if I'd ever wrestle or if I'd been blackballed from the entire industry. The first week of January was spent constantly checking emails, hoping for good news and ignoring the bad. It looked pretty bad, until I got a message. "This is Trent Seven with Fight Club Pro. I looked into your work, and I think we can do business together. Call me when you get a chance, yeah?" I immediately grabbed my phone, punching in the numbers when another message came. "This is Sebastian Suave, owner of SMASH Wrestling in Canada. Seen your work, and I like it. Give me a call and let's get you up here ASAP." .... well, hm. This was a conundrum. Either go to Canada, or go to the UK.
  20. I remember how it started. "And stay out!" "FINE! THIS PLACE SUCKS ANYWAY!" CHIKARA opened in 2002, founded by Mike Quackenbush and "Reckless Youth" Tom Carter. It had been great, with elaborate storylines and top notch wrestling, plus the numerous tournaments that took place. Many considered it a hidden gem of indy wrestling. But in 2012, Quack had an idea. A temporary shutdown thanks to a storyline. And many say CHIKARA never recovered. I had followed them, tried to stay involved and knowledgeable despite being halfway across the country. And when I had finally turned 18 last year, I decided to take a huge risk and move to Philly so I could enroll in the Wrestle Factory. Sure, there were wrestling schools closer, but I figured the Wrestle Factory was the better choice. It was a direct line to a company, I could get work, seemed like a no brainer. And in simple terms... no. Didn't happen that way. I don't think Quack and I ever really got along. Maybe I was just frustrated with how long it was taking, maybe Quack didn't like how I acted during class. Maybe it's because I shouted "Shit!" during a show because someone opened a door in my face and it slipped out. Dude was obsessed with the family friendly atmosphere, and hearing that set him off. Spent twenty minutes yelling at me about it, and when Tony Deppen came to my defense, Quack threatened him. It all came to a head in November 2019, during the Season 20 finale. I was working backstage, and made the "unforgivable sin" of being seen without my mask. Nevermind that I wasn't wrestling, someone simply shouted "Hey Cyclone!" and I looked without thinking. And boy, was Quack PISSED when he found out. You'd think I exposed the business. He was shouting again, raising up a storm and going red in the face. Ashley Vox stuck up for me, and was told that she was done. And when Allie Kat questioned the move, she got the boot as well. That set me off. "Listen up you 90s-obsessed sack of shit, don't you DARE take it out on others just because you're on an ego trip. You screwed this company back in 2012, and you've never recovered, so I don't see why you feel like you have the right to talk down to anybody." Needless to say, I was fired. What a great way to start the new decade. I reached out to Ashley and Allie as soon as I could, apologizing for getting them involved in the first place and getting fired. They both took it in stride, telling me that it wasn't my fault (kinda was) and that Quack was a dick (he was). Given that they had other gigs, they weren't sweating it too much. Meanwhile, I was trying to figure out my next move. I was 19, barely in the industry for a year and already blackballed by my trainer. So I did the sensible thing, drank a lot of "root beer", and began applying for a job. Any job, anywhere. Think I sent a few to Japan and some UK companies, maybe one in Canada. If I heard that there was an opening, or a chance, I jumped on that and took it. I wasn't gonna just quit. I needed to succeed, if only to spite that piece of crap. And I was gonna do it with the name Kid Cyclone, no matter what.

  22. Timmy Force vs Prince Ameen New Blood Series: Mark 'Aussie' Davis vs Nathan Cruz David Finlay Jr vs. ??? The Prestige vs The Bhangra Knights vs The Dark Circus vs 'Super' Sam Bailey & 'Party Boy' Liam Slater - For The GBW Tag Team Titles The Clash Of The Champions: GBW World Champion Joey Hayes vs PCW World Champion Dave Rayne It took me a while to get into RTG Wrestling, so it only makes sense it take me a bit to get into your newest venture. I dig how you like to build up a company, as it allows us to really get invested and grow with the roster and company. Anyway, Chris Brookes and Lucky Kid showing up would be aces but I’ll wait and see what you have planned. Looking forward to it.
  23. First Round: Anthony Greene vs. Chris Bey First Round: Brent Banks vs. Dak Draper First Round: Flyer vs. Joe Keys First Round: Cody Hall vs. Nathan Cruz Finals: Chris Bey Jeff Cobb vs. Low-Ki, if Cobb loses he can't challenge for any title for six months. ROH Tag Titles: The Top Guys {C} vs. The Motor City Machine Guns ROH World: Jay Briscoe {C} vs. Will Ospreay Bey is a bit of a long shot, but he’s young and can easily learn from the roster. Cobb losing opens up a few interesting stories, which is why I chose MCMG to lose; if Cobb can’t challenge for a title, he won’t let others challenge either. Ospreys comes close but loses a close contest, though I could see him winning the belt before the end of 2020. Hoping Scurll gets a good sized push as well, as turning on Royalty felt like things were in store, but it’s yet to materialize. Maybe I just need to be patient on that one. Regarding Bey, why not update his stats to reflect his talent? I know I’ve had to do that in a few games, notably with people in Who’s Mod (not a knock, but quite a few have base stats in everything rather than unique stats).
  24. Excited to see more ROH. Chris Bey is a dude I’ve gotten to see in SoCal, do him getting a shot in the TPT means I’ll be rooting for him every step of the way. Shame about Bad Dude Tito, but it is what it is. Cobb vs. Low Ki should be a hard hit to big match. Expecting big things from both soon.
