I’ll take an interest in this, I converted this mod into 2020 too so I could use it to familiarize myself with the 2020 gameplay. I look forward to trying out your tidied up version.

The “no style” style product seems to give more of an easier ride for people who want extra creativity and less fuss. I booked a royal rumble with this product and it got 78 rating. Also with converting 2016 real world mods, it appears to me gimmicks are getting lost in translation somehow, possibly causing segments with stars to sink in rating. This is my guess.

I have been switching between playing 2020 and 2016 a lot, and I’m beginning to really appreciate what 2020 brings to the table over 2016 the more I play around on it. There is a lot of little things and touches in 2020 that are getting me excited. I don’t know how I’m going to stay patient and put off getting into a long term save until full release day but I guess i can keep familiarising myself with things. The gameplay is definitely gonna be a lot of fun in 2020. TEW is legit the only game where I get that inner child excitement feeling over a new game.

I think Adam is a victim of his own success. Tew 2016 was so well done that anything different to that or challenging that was going to be met with people getting panicked. If you ever play the football manager games they literally release the same looking game every year, cos they’re too scared to try anything that looks different. I don’t want to play ‘tew 2016 + a few extra features’. I’m encouraged that the game looks and feels different. I think it’s refreshing that Adam wants to revamp and try to incorporate new ideas into this franchise and isn’t just going to rehash what worked well last time. I’m confident that in time this version of TEW will grow to be a strong installment for the TEW series and will further lay foundation for the future of the series. I think the guy has at least earned our patience and respect for his accomplished work in the past. Did you ever notice how with tew 2016 there was patches consistently coming out a long time after release improving the game little by little, bit by bit. There is just no need to panic at all. Also, pushing the date back will hopefully give the excellent modders a chance to get something done. It will all hopefully come together in a few more weeks.

You know in titles you can tick a box that says ‘title would be an achievement.’ I am confused. When would winning a title not be an achievement?

My first impression is that I really like it a lot. I’ve played around for a few hours and booked a show and it all has a nice feel to it for me. Real good job done on this instalment.

Looking forward to this today. I’m another who wants to thank Adam for all the work that’s gone into this game, I’m sure it will be as good as any other title before it. The dev journal has been an interesting thing to follow.

It’s been good reading the journal and it’s exciting to see this game is getting closer to release. I have just got locked down cos of my pre existing health issues so I at least have this game to look forward to playing.

I go into shows having some kinda idea but I don’t plan things out too far ahead, I don’t really plan endings to storylines so much because then I want to find out what happens myself...I never did like spoilers

Ya know this ‘season finale’ stuff you can set for events. Does this mean I can end all storylines and I won’t get a penalty?

I am liking all of what I’m reading in the journal thus far. I would also like to see something of the Roman reigns rejection in tew somehow.

Those guys that said they need to have their storylines going on in their head to help them fall asleep, I am with them on this. TEW allows for the ultimate way to disconnect from the real world for a while and allow some creative juices to flow, so if it makes sense in my head then it’s fine. It’s like a rule for myself that things have gotta make sense to me and I do also usually book some shows before bed and fall asleep imaging it all playing out. That’s why I love this game. Does anyone know, as a fact, that chemistry could change/improve overtime?

Now I really like today’s update about the shows importance level. It’s beginning to bug me in my long term save that like say, backlash or some crappy PPv is considered of high importance now, just cos I’ve been playing this long term save and I always aim to put on good main event level title matches to close shows, which I mean, wwe kinda does. However I mean to say there’s a few shows over my ppv season that are getting highly important which is annoying. I just end up having to dormant these ppvs. I don’t want backlash considered anywhere near the level of summerslam, really great addition today. Also I guess under this new addition you can do like tribute to the troops if you wanted.

I bought out ECW. Created ECW originals stable inc. rhino, taz, bubba and dvon and stevie Richards. They've been attacking guys who were in ECW but won't join them like rvd, dreamer and raven. Heyman was made co-gm as a heel with foley as my face GM. Foley suspects heyman is behind the ECW attacks. They even legit injured raven, which is kinda perfect cos it gives me a bit of time to build some of these ECW guys up, before raven returns for his revenge. And it's probably gonna end up, in a twist, that triple h was behind the ECW originals attacks after he's had the most problems with authority, especially foley, kinda storylines.

<p>Heading to WrestleMania 2000, I’ve had Kurt angle win the 2000 rumble and will face triple h for the wwf title. Kurt is probably operating at a level a year ahead of where he was in reality in wwf. </p><p> A bit of a fantasy match for me at this mania will be Owen Hart vs Chris Jericho. </p><p> </p><p> I’ve written stone cold out of my show for a while, I held true to the old who ran over Austin storyline and went with it, but I don’t think I’m gonna have it end up being rikishi.</p><p> </p><p> I’ve got a Molly holly va ivory women’s title feud going on. </p><p> </p><p> My development is stacked with guys like AJ Styles, Daniel bryan, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, Cena, cm punk. I can’t say I’ve ever booked wwf after 2000 cos I mainly do all the 90s mods, so I’ve never had a play around with these guys. Should be fun! Although cm punk and Bryan are like really early 20s and I don’t know when is an acceptable time or believable time for them to come up to the main roster. Or do I even care, maybe I should go ahead and have some fun and work towards a Owen Hart vs Bryan kinda feud. Hmm</p>

How does franchise players screen get worked out? There’s times when I have triple h who is star quality 100 and I’ve got him as my most popular guy on the roster and he doesn’t get on it?? He’s never been on it?

Well days away from king of the ring. I've been building to a Bret hart vs Jericho title match. And then bret hart gets hit with the toxic thing. So I have to release him. Now I don't know how to explain this away in storyline.
