  1. My personal ends of saves comes either when my computer gets wiped and I lose my data or when a new game comes out and I want to play that one. Really attached to my current save though so IDK if I'll completely stop with this one
  2. Hired El Mitico Jr after a friend tipped me off that he usually developed well for him. I don't even think I knew he was in the game before that. After jobbing for a couple of years he got really, really good and slowly moved up the card. Tried to give him a King of the Ring win a little too quickly and had to drop him down into the midcard again, but then he found an eventual Tag Team of the Year pairing with KC Glenn and 3 years later he was able to win the tournament again and this time finally win his first world title in TCW and is one of the top 4 candidates I have in mind to replace an aging Rocky Golden as my ace(KC Glenn, Loxley Robbins, and Matthew Keith). I can't remember the last time I had someone like him where I had 0 plans to use him for much more than filling up the roster and instead have him turn into the top guy on my show.
  3. Wrapped up Total Mayhem 27, so once again here are my champions. Ended up running my draft shows too so some title changes happened there TCW World Heavyweight Champion - KC Glenn: Defeated El Leon at King of The Ring Day 2 in November 2022 TCW Hard Hitting Champion - El Mitico Jr: Defeated Antonio Maxi Marquez at Malice in Wonderland 2023 TCW Women's Champion - Brooke Tyler: Defeated Tracy Brendon at Malice in Wonderland 2023 TCW Cultural Champion - Axxis Jr: Defeated Harvey Robbinfield at Total Mayhem 27 TCW International Champion - War Machine: Defeated Robin DeLay at Total Mayhem 27 TCW World Tag Team Champions: Joshua Taylor and Tracy Brendon - Defeated Erik Strong and Wade Orson at Draft Mystery Show Day 1 TCW Showcase Champions: Mainstream Hernandez and Kirk Jameson - Defeated Jacob Jett and JOJI at Total Mayhem 27 TCW Women's Tag Champions: Fuyoko Higa and Lucy Stone McFly - Defeated Talia Quinzel and Brooke Tyler in October at Backlash TCW King of the Ring - El Mitico Jr defeated Trent Shaffer. First ever person to win the tournament twice TCW Larry Vessey Memorial Tournament - Eddie Peak and Aaron Andrews defeated Mainstream Hernandez and Kirk Jameson TCW Key to the Future - Trent Shaffer over Rocky Golden Both the Vessey and KttF are new in the last year. The Vessey is a 3 day tag tournament shortly before Summer Showdown and Key to the Future is a 20 person round robin tournament to decide the world title challenger at Total Mayhem whose brand did not win the Royal Rumble.
  4. <p>"Crowds can now get burned out if forced to sit through far too much content, simulating the apathy that starts to build when real life shows go on for many, many hours."</p><p> </p><p> Dammit. Gonna have to find a way to keep my Total Mayhem cards under 10 hours then.</p>
  5. Very excited about the new tournament tracker stuff. Was easily my most wanted new feature
  6. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Self" data-cite="Self" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46105" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I don't quite understand what you'd be looking for. You can book tournaments all you want, with incredible flexibility and customization options. A bracket-shaped notepad that you can write names in? Or an auto-booker feature where you fill out the slots and it makes the matches for you? Surely you'd spend so much time choosing winners and match times that it would be just as quick to book normally.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Personally I just use Challonge for everything tournament related. Very easy to use and keeps everything in one place so I can look back at old tournaments easily. I really would like to see round robins implemented though since so many Japanese promotions use them and it would help players like myself out who want to run them but don't want to set up 20 shows for it.</p>
  7. Just capped off an absolutely tremendous year for TCW. Took home Wrestler, Tag Team, Company, Match, Show, Young Wrestler, Veteran Wrestler, Female Wrestler, and Referee of the year awards and the Power 500 featured 9 of my workers in the top 10, including numbers 1-8. Had my first match rated 100 in 4 years, and the followed it up by getting 4 more matches rated at 100. Also had 2 shows get overall ratings of 100 back to back(as parts of a 3 day tournament nonetheless, that felt good). Managed to get a title on KC Glenn, who I've been building up for a bit now and set up El Mitico Jr to win his first world title at Malice in Wonderland. Overall I'm very, very happy with how things are going right now. Starting to lose some of my old guard like Sammy Bach, Bryan Vessey, and Sean McFly but I feel really good about the guys I have waiting in the wings to replace them. Gonna try to squeeze every drop out of this save before the next game comes out and I can't continue it anymore because this is easily the best save I've had so far
  8. Very into the new brand features, especially being able to add some on. I'm at the point in my current save where I want to start a 4th brand due to the number of people on my roster, and I can't imagine I'll ever need to go over 5 brands for anything in the future.
  9. <p>My best matches in my TCW save. Main things you can see here are when I'm really hitting my stride(2018 and 2022 especially, currently at the summer of 2022) and which wrestlers have really been my MVPs. Been on a long break lately but I really would like to get back in the game now looking at this list.</p><p> </p><p> 1. Jay Chord© vs. Xtinction - TCW World Championship, Summer Showdown 2018</p><p> 2. Antonio Maxi Marquez© vs Trent Shaffer - TCW Hard Hitting Championship, Draft Mystery Show Night 1 2022</p><p> 3. Joshua Taylor vs. Aaron Andrews vs. Rocky Golden - Just Another Day? 2018</p><p> 4. Joshua Taylor vs. Aaron Andrews - Where Angels Fear to Tread 2018</p><p> 5. Eddie Peak and Aaron Andrews vs. Rocky Golden and Xtinction - Larry Vessey Memorial Tag Tournament Day 2 2022</p><p> 6. Antonio Marquez© vs. Wolf Hawkins - TCW Hard Hitting title, Excessive Force 2022</p><p> 7. Joshua Taylor© vs. Rich Money - TCW World Title, Malice in Wonderland 2018</p><p> 8. Rocky Golden vs. Aaron Andrews vs. Sammy Bach vs. Rich Money - TCW Total Wrestling, April 2018</p><p> 9. Antonio Marquez vs. Curtis Austin(Nelson Callum) - Where Angels Fear to Tread 2022</p><p> 10. Ernest Youngman vs. Tommy Cornell© - Total Mayhem 25, 2021</p><p> </p><p> Bonus matches(not my top 10 or near, but matches blowing off stories I was proud of)</p><p> 1. The Core(Rocky Golden, Xtinction, Kirk Jameson, and Mainstream Hernandez) vs. The Hellfire Club(Eddie Peak, Hells Bouncer, Nelson Callum, and Aaron Andrews) - Total Mayhem Match, Psycho Circus 2018</p><p> 2. Rich Inc(Rich Money and Mark Adonis) vs. The Vesseys(Cameron and Bryan Vessey) - Tag Team I Quit Match, Total Mayhem 25</p>
  10. My dojo guys in the C-Verse have turned out pretty well, especially Harvey Robbinfield, who I'm getting ready to push into my upper card soon and will be main eventing shows once i get some space in my main event scene. If you only mean the randomly generated workers from the dojos then I'd have to look over things again but there's some guys who are really starting to develop from those as well in my save
  11. "Why are there so many people on your roster?" "Why are there 500 tag teams on your roster?" "Total Mayhem doesn't need over 20 matches, the show goes on for like 12 hours" "The TCW Network doesn't have enough content on it" "Why aren't they pushing ____ harder! They're so over"(I have a lot of over people and not enough time to push them all at the level they should be)
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Liger!Liger!" data-cite="Liger!Liger!" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41191" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Always drug test new signings, kids.<p> </p><p> </p><p> I also find Bach's priorities amusing</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> A couple of weeks before this Bach was caught sleeping with Grace Harper, who was dating Greg Black at the time. So yeah, Sammy is probably not the one I'd look to for moral guidance in my locker room</p>
  13. <p>Just finished up Total Mayhem 26, so it's time for my annual champions check in</p><p> </p><p> TCW World Heavyweight Champion - El Leon( Defeated Rocky Golden at TM26)</p><p> TCW International Champion - Greg Gauge( Defeated Kirk Jameson at Psyco Circus 2021)</p><p> TCW Showcase Tag Team Champions - JOJETT/Jacob Jett and JOJI(Defeated Strong Hold/Erik Strong and Wade Orson at TM 26)</p><p> </p><p> TCW Hard Hitting Champion - Antonio Maxi Marquez (Defeated Trent Shaffer at TM 26)</p><p> TCW Cultural Champion - Loxley Robbins( Defeated Roger Cage at Festival of Violence, which is in August. Longest reigning current champion)</p><p> TCW World Tag Team Champions - The Great Team/ Kid Fantastic and Samael The Accuser(Defeated the Canadian Animals at TM 26)</p><p> </p><p> TCW Women's Champion - Tracy Brendon(Defeated Fuyuko Higa in February on TV)</p><p> TCW Women's Tag Team Champions - Brooke Tyler and Talia Quinzel(Defeated Paige Croft and Sara Marie York to become the first champions at TM 26)</p><p> </p><p> TCW King of the Ring - KC Glenn defeated Jay Chord in the finals. Man this one was rough. Accidentally fired him the next day trying to release someone else. Just about deleted the save right then and there. Gonna use the editor to get him back after 6 months. Never been more crushed than that while playing this game</p><p> </p><p> TCW Royal Rumble - Antonio Maxi Marquez: Marquez made a surprise return from filming a movie(kayfabe injured by Trent Shaffer) and tossed a debuting El Leon to win.</p><p> </p><p> Trios Tournament went on hiatus this year, as I only had it last year to set up some feuds and to do something fun during a period I'm usually fairly low on idea during. May resurrect it in the next year here, who knows.</p>
  14. <p><a href="https://imgur.com/NKyM7qL" rel="external nofollow">https://imgur.com/NKyM7qL</a></p><p> </p><p> Note to self, never show up to a PPV high and try to wrestle. All of those emails are from people who were pissed he showed up high, other than 1 which was from Sammy Bach, who wanted me to release him because he was too small.</p>
  15. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Questlove" data-cite="Questlove" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41191" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><img alt="KUIAED4.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KUIAED4.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> Oh</p><p> </p><p> Okay then</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I know I'm totally missing the point here, but Paul London to PWG sounds like something I'd be down for.</p>

  17. I'm cool with the new house show stuff. Makes it feel like there's more control over your product that way. Probably will let the CPU handle it more often than not though.
  18. Have you tried adding a new player as one of the alliance members and then inviting yourself? I don't know if that will work, just the first idea that comes to mind
  19. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="pantaloons" data-cite="pantaloons" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46313" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I have modified the default database heavily.<p> </p><p> People will post a lot of re-renders, or a young renders of an older worker. I used these to create a lot of 2nd, or 3rd generation talent. The next generation of DeColts, Stones, Cornells, etc are all available to debut in my database.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This reminds me of something else I like to do. Whenever someone from a wrestling family has a baby I like to add that child to the database, with them debuting at 18 years old. Right now the only ones I can remember adding are Tracy Brendon and Joshua Taylor's daughter and Cameron Vessey and Jamie Quinne's daughter. There might be more but I can't remember them right now</p>
  20. For matches or tournaments with big significance I like to run qualifying matches for every spot, even for my 30 man Rumble. Feel like that could make for a fun few weeks of TV and if you're going to get a world title match on a huge show I feel like you should have to really earn your spot, and there should be no questions as to why someone got in over someone else. With that much at stake the process should be clear as possible in my opinion. That being said, I am more than willing to have people be removed my injury and such to shake predictability every now and again, but for the most part I like to have all the cards on the table
  21. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="FellaLibby" data-cite="FellaLibby" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46313" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Do TEW with my future wife and she helps me book some shows. She helps me make a real women's division. I can't book women to save my life.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It's really not hard. Think of your favorite story that you've done for the men. Unless it's a story about, well, guy parts, you can probably do the same for the women and have it work.</p>
  22. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Donners" data-cite="Donners" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46313" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I have no stories or plans; I just throw together shows with ad hoc matches. <p> </p><p> I have no interest in the fantasy booking side, I just want to see workers and the company grow.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I do a bit of this sometimes when I'm out of ideas. Occasionally the best way for me to get a story going is to just to play the game and see what develops</p>
  23. Love the talk to feature. One of my biggest pet peaves was when I badly wanted to sign someone who couldn't work in my region because I was only a national promotion, even though I was bigger than the company they worked for. Also known as my Swoop McCarthy issue.
  24. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="skinsfan55" data-cite="skinsfan55" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46105" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I'll likely catch heat for this, but I loathe real world mods. Cverse or nothing</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm the same way. I get way to nitpicky about certain things and then I never get going because I'm too focused on trying to change things I don't like or I think are wrong</p>
  25. To be clear, this save to database feature only works on TEW2020, and would not be a way to transfer save data from 2016 into the new game?
