I finally got caught up. Seems as if I missed A LOT. Loved the debut of Remo. This is really getting good now that we're far away from the beginning storylines.

Too much star power on one side.

  4. Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez) [vs] Donte Dunn & Akima Brave

Dunn is an upper midcarder now but I think Brave takes the fall here. Sure wish somebody could get Som o Dem Sunny Daze.

'No Fear' Sonny Wildside [vs] The Natural w/ Owen Love

Wildside is not losing to an old tag teamer here. He picks up a spot of momentum against the Love, Natural, Logan, Robin faction.

Local Enhancement Talents [vs] Spencer Spade & Luis Montero Jr.

Easy win for a Faith Enterprises that seems to be on the same page now

'Country Strong' KC Glenn [vs] 'Gentleman' Lord James King

Glenn Tunes Up the Sunshine Band and gets some momentum.

Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey & Christian Price) [vs] Iron and Stone (Tim Westybrook & Edd Stone)

Would love an Edd Stone win here. He needs to get back on track. I feel like too many people have surpassed him.

'The Amazing' Jacob Jett [vs] 'The Ace' Aaron Andrews

    The Ace aces Jett.

  6. Incredibly awesome show. Those last 3 matches were why I love wrestling. Picked all three wrong but I could easily see why each guy won. Steve's win over Gargantuan was obviously to keep the DeColt brother going strong. Good win but man my guy Garg is on the downturn. The Wild Man winning was awesome as well. It's what my heart said but my mind went Angry Gilmore because of the story being told. Glad to see Jack got the win. I guess I forgot the name of the diary lol. And finally, Hernandez claims a prize he seemed destined to win way back when this diary first began. I would rather it be the Ace as the heel champ (curious to see where he goes from here) but the new heel faction should be something nice for Gino to move through. Again, great show.

'The Amazing' Jacob Jett [vs] 'Notorious' Sayeed Ali © [vs] Seeker

Comments: Jett is the guy here who's going up. He picks up the title to possibly feud with Seeker one more time.

    Grudge Match:

Dan DaLay, Robin DaLay & Sonny Wildside [vs] Logan DeColt & The CanAm Blondes

    All Action Title Match:

'The Icon' Dan Stone Jr. [vs] 'The Ace' Aaron Andrews

    Grudge Match:

'Angry' Tom Gilmore [vs] 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt

Comments: Heart says the Wild Man here but my brain says Gilmore. Too much has happened for Gilmore NOT to win this unless there's some strange swerve like Maverick turning heel to help Jack.

    NOTBPW Canadian Title Match:

'Magnificent' Gino Montero © [vs] 'Mainstream' James Hernandez

Comments: I think the title is going to Hernandez soon. This may be the match but after last year ended with the monster heel Gargantuan going home with the title, the fans need a good face to hold the belt to end the show on a good note.

    Bonus:

1). Which Match will be the Match of the Night?: Magnifico vs Mainstream

2). What will the Overall Rating of the show be?: 94 (within 5 is a point. Spot on is 2 points)

3). Who will interfere in the Gino Montero/James Hernandez Title Match?: Steve DeColt

There has arguably never been a diary writer who has understood a promotion like Eisen-verse understands the SWF. He makes that clear in his writing; every segment feels like Richard Eisen personally created it, complete with the text in italics putting Remo over every time he appears. Eisen-verse, you must have watched many hours of WWE programming to find this writing style. I commend you for your dedication and commitment to the sports-entertainment style.

By the way, may we please have a segment at some point where a heel insults Richard and Jerry Eisen by calling them "P.C. Richard & Son"?

I haven't been around here very long (TEW 2016 is my first TEW) but from what I've seen, Eisen-verse's writing is something on another level from WWE. I agree with you when you say he understands the promotion better than any other. That's definitely evident in his writing. He's done something that I've only seen like once or twice from others who have dared to write on SWF: capture the pure rawness that is SWF. For me, this doesn't feel like anything WWE have ever done, including the Attitude Era. The writing, the storytelling is so much more tight and concise than that era. I agree though, this is absolutely some great stuff.

  10.
'Magnificent' Gino Montero [vs] Erik Strong 'Though'

Magnifico is on a roll. He continues with a win here.

'The King of the Wasteland' Mutant w/ Aldous Blackfriar [vs] 'The Dark Shadow' Prometheus w/ POISON

These two giants can't be controlled and this match descends into chaos.

Jacob Jett & Seeker [vs] Coast To Coast Connection (Ross Henry & Lenny Brown) w/ Sayeed Ali

I think Jett finds a way to win this one despite Seeker abandoning him here.

'The Silent Threat' John Maverick [vs] 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt

Angry Gilmore will make an appearance before or after this match.

'The Iron Fist' Dan DaLay [vs] 'The Animal' Edd Stone w/ Tim Westybrook

Interesting to see Robin is not with his father here. The Animal needs a good win.

Primed For Progress (Christian Price & Cameron Vessey) [vs] Aaron Andrews & James Hernandez

    Hernandez. Nuff said.

  11. Local Enhancement Talent [vs] El Fuego w/ Faith

Luis wins again to continue his build towards something with his brother.

'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside [vs] 'The Saviour of Wrestling' Jonathan Faust

This might be my first time picking Faust. He beat Shaffer last week, and Wildside appears to be aimless at the moment.

'The Amazing' Jacob Jett [vs] 'Notorious' Sayeed Ali w/ The CTC

Got a feeling this TV title match at MSM is gonna be loaded. Or maybe that'll be the All Action title match.

Dan & Robin DaLay [vs] The CanAm Blondes (Owen Love & The Natural)

The Blondes appear to be building towards something at MSM.

Donte Dunn & Akima Brave [vs] Wade Orson & ????

I hope somebody gets Som o Dem Sunny Daze here but Orson seems to have more story to him right now. Heel turn incoming.

'Magnificent' Gino Montero [vs] 'The Ace' Aaron Andrews

This should be an excellent feud if Gino can retain the title at MSM and Andrews comes through against the Stone.

Dude quit despite you not even actually jobbing him?! That must’ve been maddening!

  13. LOL - Freakin' Hulk.

I ran a 1994 WCW save where Hogan was my world champion. I wanted him to drop the belt to Luger, knowing he would win it back 1 month later at Starcade. Hogan refused to do the job, so I let him win the match...and the next day he demanded his release. So he killed my PPV, my future plans ... *sigh* ... freakin' Hulk....

Wait a minute? Who asked for their release. Lol I have to be reading this wrong.

  14.
'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold [vs] 'The Black Sheep' Logan DeColt

Logan is about to get ready to slide into a bigger role. A win against the resident jobber helps whether that comes by DQ or a dirty win.

'Country Strong' KC Glenn [vs] Erik Strong 'Though'

Has Glenn lost a match yet? I can't see Strong beating him here even if it isn't for the title.

'Cut Throat' Trent Shaffer [vs] 'The Saviour of Wrestling' Jonathan Faust

Shaffer has been more relevant lately.

Local Enhancement Talent [vs] El Fuego w/ Faith

Luis picks up the win to begin the build towards the rematch with his brother.

Primed For Progress [vs] POISON & Prometheus

I think a DQ win will do the same that a draw will.

'The Barbadian Barbarian' Donte Dunn [vs] 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt

The Wild Man goes wild but I think we get an Angry Gilmore appearance before or after.

  15.
Ok, just chiming in on this match length vs ratings thing.

You can get 95+ ratings with a match that is not 20 minutes. My TV main events usually run 16-18 minutes and I churn out 95+ ratings all the time. You can also get 95+ ratings with a match that is not 16+ minutes. I've done it often with 15 min matches but I can't recall with anything less than that. I imagine bonuses are what pushes those ratings so high.
