1.
Currently playing the 1987 mod, and running WWF have made it to July so far. The main event scene was orchestrated around the Heenan Family vs. Hogan and I have maintained that to a point, which each new member failing to take the title from him. Defeating Andre, Harley and Randy Savage until we came to an all out war. Siding with Hogan were Piper, Roberts and Steamboat. And it was the most surprising turn of the three, with Steamboat turning on Hogan and costing him the title against Andre.

With Andre as a champion, the Heenan family have dominated the main event scene, but recently having got themselves involved in a tag title match and allowing A Wonderful Combination (Bob Orton Jnr & Paul Orndorff) to take the titles. The Road Warriors have made it their mission take them down.

I am currently debating what do with that though, as I don't want to split them up, but can't see how one of them taking the title doesn't lead to that! Haha. Race has Jake Roberts to deal with and Savage/Piper have been feuding for a few months.

My main aim with the game is to establish new stars every six months or so, and I have been pushing Bret Hart, Davey Boy Smith and Ted DiBiase the most. I want all three involved in the main event scene for the next Wrestlemania.

Hart will defeat Roberts in the KOTR finals, a week after he won the Intercontinental Title.

DiBiase will take the Rumble. He will be expanding the guys on his pay role between now and then, and I intend to have the final four be three on one against Davey Boy.

Davey Boy was someone I contemplated getting involved in the World Title scene, but he is a bit of a liability and I would prefer someone more consistent. He will eventually turn, as I want to push Hart as the babyface successor to Hogan.

Other pushes lower down the card are Razor Ramon, Meng and Steve Williams.

Dynamite Kid has been pushing the Cruiserweight title and division, but is mostly facing guys with little popularity. Brian Pillman, Jushin 'Thunder' Liger, The Great Muta, Koko B Ware, Mark Rocco and a young Shawn Michaels have all been defeated so far.

Some of my created tag teams;

Bad Intentions (Curt Hennig & Greg Valentine)

The Excursion (Kamala & Kevin Sullivan)

Boot Camp (Sgt Slaughter & Corporal Kirchner)

Wonderful Combination (Bob Orton Jnr & Paul Orndorff)

Current Champions:

World Heavyweight: Andre The Giant

Intercontinental: Bret Hart

Tag Titles: Wonderful Combination

European: Steve Williams

Cruiserweight: Dynamite Kid

Other notes:

Steamboat is mentoring Jeff Jarrett

Vince McMahon is killing it as a manager for the Rock 'N Roll Express

Jim Neidhart got ridiculously over but I don't know what to do with him

I fired Sammartino due to him constantly complaining, and I was promptly sued and taken to court and had to pay him out half a mil!

 2.
Just finished my first year and the shows have gone well, with plenty through the cards it is hard not to have them do well. The Dudley Boyz fame is rising, and they have now established themselves as the number one contenders. Elsewhere, Farooq reigns supreme and Mick Foley represents APW strongly in our alliance, having defended the title twice in Japan to Mutoh and Chono. With the upper and comers, Ultimo Dragon has been given the strongest push, teaming up with Kane (injured) and a young(ish) James Mitchell to form a demonic cult that is claiming it's first few victims. Elsewhere Japanese talents are finding their footing on American soil and a few imports have added a thoroughly competitive depth to the roster.

On to the show recaps:

APW 5

Universal Title Match

Farooq defeated Dean Malenko, and Ken Shamrock.

In his first defense as champion, the former tag team champion had to fed off to technical challengers in the Official number one contender, Malenko, and the Unofficial number one contender, Ken Shamrock. The latter had tormented Malenko in the weeks leading up to the title match and finally earned his spot with a decisive victory over former challenger, Terry Gordy.

Global Title Match

Mick Foley defeated Mike Awesome

Fresh off a defense in Japan, Mick Foleys return to the States was welcomed by the boot of Mike Awesome who was envious off the global acclaim Foley had been receiving whilst he remained, "wrestling nobodies".

Tag Team Title Match

Miracle Violence Connection defeated Dan Severn & Jimmy Garvin

A blast from the past came aboard to prevent MVC from another brutal beatdown. However, it put him directly in their line of fire. Needing someone who can handle himself, Garvin offered out an opportunity to the locker room, and hard man Dan Severn took up the challenge. A previous victim of an unprovoked attack by the MVC.

The Steiner Brothers defeated The Dudley Boyz

The two teams have been at each others throats ever since The Steiner Brothers debuted and went straight into a title match. Stepping over The Dudley Boyz off of name alone, the Boyz finally got to see what that reputation was built upon.

Cruiserweight Title Match

Chris Candido defeated Jerry Lynn, Alex Wright, and Rey Mysterio Jnr

Several challengers laid their claim to this title and it was the returning star who overcame his daemons to force his way into the spotlight and looked unstoppable in doing so.

Scott Norton defeated The Crew

Norton came into APW as a former Global champion, having held the title for NJPW and defended it around the world. He wasn't humble about it. And with men like Mantel & Finley around, that sort of attitude isn't going to sit too well. And so it proved. The Crew looked to put that ego to the test.

Showcase Match

Papa Shango defeated Michael Hayes

Showcase Match

The All-Asian All Stars (Taka Michinoku & Kaz Hayashi) defeated The Headhunters

Ultimo Dragon defeated Kane

This was less of a match and more of a spectacle, announcing a new force within the APW. Little is known about the cult, but when the big man Kane is willing to lie down and let a man pin him, who knows what is to come next.

-

APW 6

Universal Title Match

Farooq defeated Mick Foley

In his second defense of the title, Foley looked to cash in his rematch. Pre-occupied in previous months with the Global title, the hardcore menace decided it was finally time to get the man one on one and was determined for that to happen.

Tag Team Title Match

Miracle Violence Connection defeated The Steiner Brothers

Having earned their contendership by dispatching The Dudley Boyz, there was no one else for MVC to face except their ultimate challenge. Weeks of violence preceded the upcoming match, with Gordy and Williams doing everything possible to disrupt the match. The team got their way, isolating Rick Steiner whilst his brother was in the ring, ensuring that at least one man would go into the match injured.

Ken Shamrock defeated Papa Shango

Shamrock finally put to bed a month of harassment from the voodoo priest, whose strange alliance with Farooq and Shamrocks contendership saw him take an odd obsession with the mixed martial artist.

The Dudley Boyz defeated The Pitbulls

Looking to re-establish themselves within the division, they took on a newly debuted team that had made an immediate impact.

Cruiserweight Title Match

Chris Candido defeated Dean Malenko

Fresh off his failed shot at the Universal title Malenko, Candido made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Looking to solidfy his reign against an established star, Candido took to cheap tactics to get his way and comeback kid's reign turned sour.

Showcase Match

10 Gauge (Mike Awesome & Scott Norton) defeated Dan Severn & Bill DeMott

Showcase Match

Ultimo Dragon defeated Alex Wright, and Rey Mysterio Jnr

The All-Asian All Stars defeated The Crew

The Asian superstars thought they had picked an easy target, having seen The Crew dismantled by one man a month ago, but they vastly underestimated the fight in both these men.

Plenty of storyline potential though!

 4. The Peoples Crusade. I spent far too long on that! Haha. Not as creative as I thought. I was trying to find a link to the crusades, with the Lionheart nickname and Richard the 1st.
 5.
Decided to make a power play Nationally, and establish an alliance with CMLL and NJPW. And I have started to really push on the development side of things. But that is all really just setting plans for the future. Couple of PPV's to update on.

APW 3

Mick Foley defeats Kane to remain Universal Champion

Miracle Violence Connection defeat APA & The Steiner Brothers to be crowned Tag Team Champions

Ken Shamrock defeats Dean Malenko

The Dudley Boys defeat Alex Wright & Rey Mysterio Jnr

Jerry Lynn defeats Hector Guerrero to remain Cruiserweight Champion

Papa Shango defeats Dan Severn

Michael Hayes defeats Joe Malenko

APW 4

Farooq defeats Mick Foley to be crowned Universal Champion

Miracle Violence Connection defeat The Steiner Brothers to remain Tag Team Champions

Ken Shamrock defeats Mike Awesome

Dean Malenko defeats Kane, Papa Shango, and Michael Hayes

Jerry Lynn defeats Alex Wright to remain Cruiserweight Champion

Hector Guerrero defeats Ultimo Dragon

Dan Severn defeats JBL

Scott Norton defeats Rey Mysterio Jnr

The Dudley Boyz defeat The Headhunters

 6.
Started a new game based in 1994, trying to engineer a realistic challenge to the big guys fighting it out. I randomly chose APW to be the company and bumped them up to Cult with a big enough war chest to have a fun roster. I'm also looking to push some of the lesser highlighted talents in the era, whilst maybe doing something a little different with the guys that came to fame.

My first PPV was primarily establishing the base title holders that would push us forward whilst I build the next stars.

APW 1

Mick Foley defeated Steve Williams to be crowned APW Universal Champion. Despite the best efforts of Terry Gordy.

APA defeated The Malenko Brothers and The Fabulous Freebirds (Gordy & Hayes) to be crowned APW Universal Tag Team Champions.

Ken Shamrock defeated Dan Severn in controversial fashion, with Severn claimed to be a quick count.

Kane defeated Brian Lawler.

Mike Awesome defeated Dave Finlay.

The Dudley Boyz defeated Kidman & Misterio Jnr.

Alex Wright defeated Hector Guerrero

The next show was mostly a continuation of the storylines developed during in the inaugral show as well as showcasing new talents and a new division.

APW 2

Mick Foley defeated Terry Gordy to remain APW Universal Champion.

APA defeated The Malenko Brothers to remain APW Universal Tag Team Champions.

Chris Candido defeated Steve Williams.

Ken Shamrock defeated Dan Severn in a submission match.

Kane defeated Papa Shango.

Jerry Lynn defeated Rey Misterio Jnr to be crowned APW Universal Cruiserweight Champion.

Mike Awesome defeated Michael Hayes.

The Dudley Boyz defeated The Crew (Dutch Mantel & Dave Finlay).

Unfortunately, my backstage is a mess, just about being pulled through by some strong leadership, guys like Awesome continue to be a problem. I currently have him suspended and Candido and Lawler in rehab. I made the mistake of putting Lawler in a battle royal and subsequently infuriated half my roster due to him wrasslin' whilst high.
