Going to use this thread to write down my ideas and suggestion as to how to make "Broadcasters" better + a little idea for alliance titles! The first suggestion is regarding the "TV Slot" that is available at each broadcaster. If for example a "Prime Time" spot is already taken by another company you should not be able to have your own show at the same time on the same broadcaster. It would not make much sense at all to have Nitro and RAW at the same time on the same channel. But if you really want to try and get that spot the said broadcaster should then look at both company's popularity and show quality from the past and then decide which one of those two will be dropped/refused. A prime example of this would be ECW losing their spot because WWF moved to their television. A second suggestion would be regarding what it takes to get better TV Spots. Right now from my understanding only way to get "Prime Time" is if you reach "Big" size. I think if you look at historical facts (TNA and AEW) both were on Prime Time at some point in their existence. And neither would be considered "Big" in TEW terms when they accomplished that. What my suggestion for this would be, have Broadcasters consider the size and past quality of the shows(right now unless I am wrong they only consider product and size. If I am getting a 90+ rated show every week for a year (while minimal expected is 65) and we are in "Late Night" I personally think we deserve to be bumped to a better spot in the Night due to the quality of the content we are providing for that broadcaster. The third and last suggestion would be regarding "Own Broadcasters". Right now you are able to make an Internet Broadcaster even if you are playing in the 70s. My suggestion for this would be to unlock the other type of broadcasters. Or at least the "Free to Air" one. Make them very expensive to make compared to Internet Broadcaster. This is mostly for immersion's sake. If someone wants to have their own TV Station. Let them but it should be more expensive. And personally "Internet" broadcaster should be "locked" (if that is even possible) until the mid-2000s. And now for the Alliance suggestion. I wanted to suggest "Region" and "Territory" based titles. What I mean by this is titles that can only be defended when you have a show in a certain region (USA titles, Japan, Mexico, etc) And "Territory" based which would be for each Territory that is available (Tri-State, Great Lakes, etc) And to just have this option for alliances. I think it would add nice flair to the game and also make the NWA type alliances more fun in general!

Future Wrestlers wise how long in the future could one go with this mod ?

I absloutly love the concept of this mod basically being Modern Territories. However, I have noticed there is quite a bit of graphics missing especially in the title portion. Thought it might have been on my end so I reinstalled it put it all correctly selected correct folder and it was not picking any of the ones I mentioned down below. I also do have a suggestion that could potentially help you with not needing to create many belts (you might have already and I just have not checked the Belts folder. Considering they are all small promotions based in their home regions why not put them all inside a NWA or an NWAeque Alliance to fully simulate the said situation in the Wrestling World in the USA! That way you don't need to create too many belts especially the World titles as they would all then have to compete for the NWA World title (which would mean you would need to shut down NWA and put its titles in to NWA Alliance) and could use some regional belts for their own promotion. Also speaking of NWA. The NWA Alliance is missing a picture as well as Commission De Box y Lucha Libre Mexico. Absolutely LOVING the 92 mod! Started my little promotion and building it up some of the free agents available. One of the most enjoyable Databases I played so far!

There is currently a game breaking glitch. That causes WCW to just shut down due to the Media Group they are owned by shutting down after 1 month of game time.

Oh my lord. This is something I always wanted. Looking forward to this!!

I have so far done....about 5 years on different saves. One and a half year on 2010 One and a half year on 1991 And 3 years on Effganic I really do enjoy competing with AI. As I feel AI is much smarter when it comes to booking...but braindead when it comes to other things. However I do have to say I was very impressed by WCWs recovery. They had droped to 3 milion debt. And cut most of their guys from written deals to handshake per show to get them back to where they were before and now sit on comfy 2.5 mil in balance. WWF however. They are lucky enough to have 3 different TV Shows 1 A show and 2 B shows that are keeping them afloat. But they lost their main one. And are stuck with that for god knows how long. And yes atm its 3 strikes you are out. Be that 3 strikes in a month or in period of time. To me the biggest kick in the jewls was when I got kicked off after 3 months. And in those 3 months I had 3 shows that missed the required number by 1 point. So out of 12 shows 3 were bad 9 were good and got higher then needed. I was lucky enough to have my own broadcaster so I stuck it out for that year to get back to a proper TV. In that time grew 2x in size and was able to go on a big boy tv. Only for them to throw me off after 2 months due to 3 shows missing a rating by 1 or 2 points.

The same reason why I stopped playing my 2010 save and the save I am currently playing(1991) I am enjoying, however. I noticed WWF got throw off ESPN for not delivering their insane requirements. Which with them off their main TV and WCW getting huge amounts of debt and keeping their talents on handshakes made it super easy to dominate. While I understand the block from talking to a company that dropped you for 5 years. I do not understand the block from talking to ANYONE for an entire year. And the worst part about it is how quickly it happens. 3 shows that miss the mark by 1 point and you are out of here. The only way I found around it is if you already have 2 strikes. Make an extra save and if you think you cant deliver the XY number cancel the deal before that show and get a new one on smaller channel. And fix the money you lost due to it with editor. Because if the game wants to throw nonsense at you. You are free to use nonsense against it.

Was just thinking about this,alliances should maybe have a little more depth. I am no coder and not sure how it would work so I will try to work with what is currently in game and connecting it all in to one feature for Alliances. We already have members of Alliance saying who can join it and who cant. So why not have something like members voting on who can become a main Champion of the Alliance. Example would be NWA during territory days. Where a group of promoters decided on who will become main Champion of the Alliance. With new system for prespectives and as well Merch I think if you could combine few things in to how company decides if they want that person as representative. Those few things would be how much over they are over in the contient/regions members of the Alliance are,how much merch they sell,and how good in the ring they are. Again I am no coder so not sure how possible it is but would love to hear your Guys opinion on it!

Glad you like them! I hope Adam sees them. Personaly think just like you that Narratives have so much potential that it is insane.

Not sure if this is possible to add or not. But! I had a few ideas for an additions to Narratives. This suggestion is specifically aimed at Historical Mods which would benefit a lot from it be it c-verse historical mods or real-world historical mods. Add the ability for shows to go on and off the air through Narratives. Right now(and correct me if I am wrong) if you are playing for example a mod set in 1991. Yes RAW is in the database but unless you control WWF chances are AI will never put it on Monday and will just continue on with Superstars until the end of days. I think it would extend play trough for a lot of people if they knew "Hey at this time this company will defo move to this TV Show" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2nd addition I would suggest is changing the product through Narratives. Companies rarely keep same product trough all the years. So perhaps being able to have a narrative where a company switches from one product to another. Example WWF going from Classic Sports Entertainment to Attitude then to Ruthless Agression and then to PG. Again I could be wrong and this could already be a thing if so please do correct me. This would be perfect especially with the new product system that TEW20 has in comparison 16. I am not a coder and not sure how hard it would be to code it so a narrative can change companies product. And yes I am aware companies change their product over time. But I am talking about more direct change when the time comes for it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3rd addition. Booker changes trough narratives. A prime example of this would be WCW. And how many bookers they changed in the early 90s, It would be nice if it would be possible for bookers to get assigned trough Narratives, for example, Vince Russo going from WWF to WCW. I think it could add another dynamic to the game. What is everyone's opinion on this? Id love to hear your opinions!

On Effganic save I went about 20 years into the future and found this little thing. This is VERY broken. They have 118 events a year. Which are treated like PPVs. Per each event, they get around 20k to 40k people. In 9 years they earned 103,544,647. (they start with 200k) They have 0 broadcasting going on earning every little penny from it. I am scared to know what will happen when PPV shows up in my game Screenshots: Their finances - All their events - , , , Pls nerf.

If it only happened on the cutthroat prime time slots I would not be up in arms about it. But it is not the first time it happened. And the first time it was not on Prime Time. Before I went on to this big tv I was on a "Very Small" across entire USA. Who were Pro to Wrestling. I hit my targets every week. Except for 3 times in 3 months where my show missed the mark by 1 or 2 points. Causing me to get dropped when it happened the third time. So out of 12 shows in 3 months 3 were meh(they were not classed as bad) 9 were good. But we still got kicked off. Do note we did not have super over roster at that time so it was a lot tougher to get good ratings especially at a Late Night and those types of slots . Now we don't have a show that goes under 85. Only reason I was able to stay competative and rebuild from that was due to having my own broadcaster which was only starting up then. As I was using it to promote my child companies.

I have it on Main Event focuse and "consistant" angles. Rollins and Rock are just my two main main guys who broke 90+ pop. Other then them its CM Punk,AJ Styles,Jericho,Shawn Michaels,Edge,Kenny Omega,Nigel Mcguinness,Trish Stratus and Jon Moxley those 6 are the backbone with 79+ popularoty and about other 50 something Guys and gals on Roster. People clearly do not see what my biggest issue is. And that is HOW FAST you get droped. But maybe I did not explain it well enough. Your TV Ratings,your PPV numbers mean nothing. If you get ever a single point below their required "rating" wwhich in my case is an 88. And you do that 3 times. Does not matter if its a week a month a year or a decade. You will get instantly droped. And that is just so unfair and total kick in the nuts. And then locks you out of talks with any other broadcaster for a year. And with that broadcaster for 5 years. There should be like a soft spot. You get between 83 to 88 rating you are good you drop below it you get a warning 5 times and after that get forced to a later spot! Thats fair! And in next 3 months if your ratings are good enough you can go back to that slot. Game should also take in to account your positioning by TV Ratings compared to everything around you. And othet wrestling shows for 6 months no monday wrestling show was able to get close to us beating both impact and RAW in TV ratings each week. And once we got prime time on MTV and Mexican TV we were each monday in top 5 most watched shows on TV with a 13.75 (thats ALL channels numbers combined MTV was a 6.7 to 7 constantly) as I included the amazing Other Shows pack in to this Save But it means nothing to get highest ever numbers for Wrestling TV Program as the game does not take that in to considuration its just get this number you fail 3 times you are out.

Also as few folks said to change away from Prime Time. - Late Evening and Evening - Prime Time Just 1 point difference. And Late Night/Graveyard id rather not. Also broadcaster I am on. I do not see any issue with it? Coverge wise its "Very Big" in USA.

I can understand those slots being hardest to hold on to. But look at WCW for example they were Prime Time even at their worst. So far I have been dropped by two "Neutral to wrestling" Broadcasters after failing to deliver a rating they wanted 3 times. First time it was 3 times in 3 months 2nd time was in 2 months. As I said WWE would have been dropped in a second if we went with this system iRL. My show setup is Main Event Spotlight with Consistent Angles. And each show I have one of my two my guys Tyler Black and The Rock having a match with someone of decent pop/skill as main event. With plenty of promos in order to boost that rating number. But if I put someone who for example does not have 60-75 pop in midcard/lowercard that I am trying to build up my show instantly tanks Here is an example of a show that reached the required rating And one that did not. Also I went to check and broadcaster I am on is made just fine. If I was a mod maker I would have made them exactly the same. To also reply to post above,I have about 4-5 guys who are considured "Major Stars". However id like to maybe book someone else sometimes in those two hours.

I am fairly sure they created their own broadcasters instead of converting them from TEW16. I was originally on a Network with "Small" coverage but got removed from it after in 3 months I had 3 shows that fell under their demanded rating (which was a 60) I was then locked off from negotiating with any broadcaster (except my own) for a year. Which I then had to use in order to survive. I spent money I earned on upgrading that broadcaster and put on good enough shows to raise to "Big" level. So once I was finally able to negotiate with other broadcasters there was one Broadcaster I really wanted to go on to as they had "Very Big" coverage but wanted 88 rating per show compared to other big ones who wanted 90+ (which is already super hard to do) I want to be in primetime on bigger network because who would not want that? I could have easily stayed on my Network but I wanted to go on bigger ones. However at the current state it is impossible to go to anything higher then Medium due to them having too high of demands.

Simply put, broadcasters and their systems are completely broken, and need to be completely reworked. So what am I talking about? So over last week or so I have been playing my so far most enjoyable save on TEW20. Using the 2010 database. I am in the middle of the total wrestling war that raised the industry importance to 99. My little promotion went from small to big inside a year. However, that was done through pure will and determination of myself to not throw TEW20 through a window. So first issue I encountered. Getting dropped by a network if you miss their rating 3 times. Now while this would not be such a huge problem in itself. What is a huge problem the fact you are then locked out of negotiating with ANYONE FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR! that is in that field be it PPV, Commerical whatever. If this was the case in real life. RAW would have been canceled 10 years ago and WWE or any wrestling promotion in history would go down in blaze of fire. This is unrealistic on so many level Ratings? They mean nothing. I pulled 7.33,6.56,6.36,6.27,6.69,6.59 or in pure show rating numbers 92,92,83,88,93,91,85 and when we got canceled (Again) an 86. At this point I am forced to book my show like this in order to satisfy my Broadcaster. Top guy vs Top guy. 2 top guys vs 2 top guys top girl vs some random girl who can work, and about 20 promos from The Rock in order for my show to get a decent rating. Can I push an up and coming Wrestler? Not on that show I cant. And B shows? Utterly useless would not be able to get prime Steve Austin over on one of those. Add on that the show ratings the Big and up broadcasters demand for Prime Time are ridiculous. 89 for big and very big ??? 91 - 93 for huge ?!?! How the HELL is someone who has not played any of old TEW versions suppose to reach Prime Time on Huge TVs ??? I have been playing this game for years and I am telling you right now. ONLY AND I MEAN ONLY WAY you can be on Prime Time, earn money at the same time is if you have your own broadcaster. You have your own broadcaster ? Fantastic you are good to go. No one will ever be able to touch you. Why ? Because even AI cant deal with insane demands Broadcasters put. I have seen every single medium to big promotion droped from their prime time slots just because if they did not. They would lose TV deal and be locked out of it for AN ENTIRE YEAR. I want to enjoy my playtrough and build new stars not book same show every goddamn week in order to stay prime time! Do NOT tell me "Oh that is because the modder did not set up Broadcasters correctly" because the broadcaster I am on has neutral stance on Wrestling and "Very Big" in USA as they should based on their real life standing. Then other broadcasters of that level or higher? Demand a 91-92 rating even if they are high pro to Wrestling. Apologies if I sound a little angry,but I enjoy TEW20 and this issue has been bane of my existance in it. I grinded trough an entire year after being droped due to having 3 not as good shows in 3 months. Only to be droped again from by far best option I could have picked for my show to go to next level and I can not put myself trough another year of grinding trough in order to get bigger broadcaster as I do not wish to abuse own broadcasters.

So in my save I decided to try and bring Heyman from his hiatus. I talked with him and he said he is willing to consider it if the price is right. Now do note, I am a Big company and can afford to give high wages. Heymans pop is at a 69. I offered him up to 236 000(purposely went this high so he signs for me for sure) a month 35% of his Merch and 20% bonus on events. That he will never work in Ring. A 10-year contract. He rejected me every single time. Saying "He is not interested to come back from his hiatus" I tried to offer him a one year contract. I tried everything in my power. But he says he is willing to consider it. And then when you offer him a contract a beastly contract he just refuses. Here are all the screenshots.
