  1. <p>Your belts look very nice and a great update for the game.</p><p> </p><p> (Also while I'm copypasting the files I just noticed that CGC has a women's belt <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />)</p>
  2. [C-Verse] So, I'm running a hybrid promotion in America as Buddy Garner. My hires are MMA fighters like Billy Russell and Roy Edison, or whoever else with some legitimate background, as well as a number of brawlers for some interesting clash of styles. The first show was headlined by Garner vs Russell, and turns out they got bad chemistry. They're also on decline now but I guess that's a given. Oh, well.
  3. My idea is that I'm reporting you for the violent abuse of the terms 'puroresu', 'Strong Style', and 'King's Road'
  4. These look nice. Is there a version of the suited Frehley without the belt?
  5. Regarding the new push system, will we have to figure out for ourselves where to put our workers on the card, or will it the game be able to tell us the best use for each of them? The whole thing got me thinking of WMMA's way of telling which are the top fighters (since they can't use main eventer, midcarder, etc.), so using that system someone like Finn Balor would be "possibly main eventing" while Roman Reigns would be "main eventing our biggest shows".
  6. I echo the people not liking the new(?) product system. Seems like a big step backwards just coz some people thought PWG was pure wrestling, IMO. No need to go back to TEW 2005

Should let everybody get a date every week or so. And let me go get some TV ME guys that I'm lacking. Also, expect that Joey Ryan and Page gag to go on for a while.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> WTF is that Punk promo lol?</p>
  9. You guys misunderstood, I think Jericho and Daniels aren't good anymore <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Park definitely still is
  10. <p>Anyway, it's true that Cornellverse needs a drastic change. TCW has been virtually the same forever save for Tommy's departure. They're probably not going out of business since they now have a huge company backing them, but any hopes of surpassing USPW and SWF any time soon should be pretty much lost. </p><p> </p><p> I REALLY hope Australia actually pops out some female wrestlers. It's gonna be 15 years since wrestling canonically 'took off' there, and you're telling me there's only one woman interested in becoming a wrestler in the entire continent? Actually, the women's wrestling scene could improve everywhere outside of America.</p><p> </p><p> Japan needs to get out of MJM's strangehold.</p><p> </p><p> USPW will probably make a deal with MAW to send their green muscleheads to work there.</p><p> </p><p> India will obviously provide us with new workers, as well as new opportunity for pre-existing ones (maybe Melvin Otto will take off there!). More cultural diversity in the game world should suffice. There aren't that many non-Japanese Asian workers in the date, afaik.</p>
  11. Is there a rerender for Ken Flanagan? Quite the character that could make Mark Carnie blush.
  12. <p>I wish everyone involved in this mod good luck, and appreciate iDOL's effort all this time.</p><p> </p><p> PS: Please add HUSTLE. 2004 was their debut year.</p><p> <img alt="tumblr_nu2c1epWKn1t3w7eio1_400.gif" data-src="https://66.media.tumblr.com/69533f6f64c4349c412391f9a4d15a23/tumblr_nu2c1epWKn1t3w7eio1_400.gif" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  13. <p>I make sure all the belts are named properly. I hate seeing a sentence like 'the reigning NXT Championship Champion Tomasso Ciampa' while playing the game.</p><p> </p><p> I'm also anal about how BHOTWG's belts are named, so I turned them like:</p><p> Burning World -> Burning World Heavyweight</p><p> Burning Junior -> Burning World Junior Heavyweight</p><p> and so on</p>
  14. Would you consider adding Big Mouth Loud? It was the promotion where guys like Shibata, Murakami, Enson Inoue, etc. worked in after splitting from NJPW. They also booked people from other places including NOAH, AJPW, and BattlARTS.

I downloaded a huge storyline mod and went through it but couldn't come up with any starting storylines. Anybody have any ideas on some good ones to check out? Hashimikov was the exact foreign heel that fit the original "strong style" idea.</p><p> </p><p> I mean look at this freakin' beast.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/hBmepkJ.gif</span></p>
  18. <p><strong>Companies I love</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>BSC - They are dead by 2016 of course, but in the available past C-Verse databases, there are so many directions you could take them. The initial concept of 'Vegas strippers attempting pro-wrestling despite lack of ability' is a great premise. If you want you could stick to that, or go other ways. Perhaps you could give promising female workers their start. Maybe you could even turn BSC into a more competitive environment while still selling the wrestlers' characters and good looks (which is actually pretty common in the real world anyway). BSC provides fun and variety</p><p> </p><p> Inspire/TIER 1 - While shoot-style wrestling never took off in C-Verse the way it did in our world, Inspire is a pretty nice replica. I see TIER 1 as the spiritual successor in a way, with some differences. If Inspire is closer to UWF/RINGS, then TIER 1 is BattlARTS.</p><p> </p><p> USPW - 1980s wrestling is great. Hulkamania ran wild for a reason, brother.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> NYCW - A cool throwback to the territories. The product is simple but enjoyable. Very true to it's New York-ness. It's a good place for veterans about to ride into the sunset and young workers about to break out.</p><p> </p><p> HGC/TCW 1997 - I think 'Hollyweird' is an incredibly stupid name that makes them sound bush-league. I chalk it up to JK Stallings being 16 and not knowing any better, then I wait for at least a year before changing it to TCW. That said, the company is very interesting in the '97 mod. Sam Strong and Rip Chord as the biggest -yet also oldest- stars of a fledgling company who wants to beat Richard Eisen at his own game. Beneath them, you got the likes of Vessey Brothers, Tyson Baine, and Jack Bruce still far away from fame. So many ways could to company go. Too bad canonically Tommy took over and made it a geek-fest <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Also, I never actually played SNP, but I love the premise of Mark Carnie being a huge scumbag who managed to fool people into giving him millions for his promotion.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Companies I don't care for</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>NOTBPW - Sleeping aid. The Stones are all nerds except Edd, that's why he isn't there anymore. Stupid, US-centric name. Have some pride in being Canadian, will you?</p><p> </p><p> SOTBPW - Same problem with its stupid name. They're actually alright otherwise.</p><p> </p><p> 2016 Burning Hammer - The weight split is absolutely broken. Makes them hoard talent despite not that many of their juniors even raised to B popularity or above, and their shows usually aren't even that good. The whole thing doesn't even reflect reality as HW-JHW tag teams are actually common throughout history. Still, I have not played them for more than a week in TEW16 and most of my grievances came from AI decisions, so maybe I'll just turn it off next time.</p><p> </p><p> IPW - Kinda look lame/half-asses compared to GSW. It's like they can't decide between wanting to stick to their roots or become more "serious".</p><p> </p><p> SWF - Too much like the Attitude Era and I always had problem booking WWF in that time period. Just not very enjoyable.</p>

  20. If it's not too much of a bother, is it possible to get a middleweight or cruiserweight belt for Tier 1?
  21. 'Joshi' just means woman so you're suggesting to "Open the Women's Gate"<img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

He additionally got MOTY award for a six man tag team match where he tagged with Blood Storm(Ryuji Ito & Jun Kasai) to defeat Hiroshi Tanahashi, Shinjiro Otani and Masato Tanaka. Fun fact:This is Blood Storm's second MOTY in a row, as they also won 2006 for a match against KENTA and AJ Styles.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Blood Storm was also 2006's Tag Team of the year, but this time around the trophy got snatched away by Black Tiger IV(Rocky Romero) and Jushin Liger, who also won Veteran of the year. Romero was previously young wrestler of the year, but this time Kazuchika Okada dethroned him.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> These matches aren't long enough IMO</p>
