  1. <p>I really hope it makes a return because that board is incredibly helpful in making long-term booking decisions. That's the only way I know how to book promos honestly. It'd be super annoying if that feature just disappeared.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

    Anyways, Here's my current save:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I look at it as almost realistic (with the lack of available regional broadcasters not with standing). It shouldn't be an easy climb from regional to cult. I look at how many Indy companies run just around me that do fairly decent business, but there is no way they'd get TV unless it was a local station, they wouldn't get say TV in Michigan when the run in the middle of nowhere Indiana.<p> </p><p> Though I do think with the new sizes and the new requirements to go up in size, it will change that feeling.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> The problem with that is that the internet in TEW doesn't work at all like how it does in real life. For some reason, you don't get any money for having your shows on the internet which isn't true at all for a lot of wrestling promotions.</p><p> </p><p> NJPW makes a ton of money off NJPW World and AEW makes money off of BR Live/FiteTv.</p><p> </p><p> Granted, when TEW 2016 came out streaming platforms weren't as popular as they are but it's something that takes me out of playing regional promotions because it's totally unrealistic. Even Chikara has its own streaming site at this point.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Of course, you could start your own broadcaster with a subscription service but that cost millions of dollars in TEW when it obviously doesn't in real life.</p>
  3. So I have a 1987 JCP game going and Dusty Rhodes has decided he wants to go to the WWF. I thought he had loyalty to JCP but he doesn't and he did leave in real life so I'm going to let him go. I just don't know how hard I should bury him on the way out.

On one hand, I like Dusty and he's a key part of JCP yet, on the other hand, he is totally screwing me over by going to my number one competitor.

I also have Vader AQnd The Undertaker on my roster so it'd be really nice to have them go over Dusty. They are midcarders though so Dusty gets pissed when I try to put them over him but he is 41 and he'll probably be in time decline by the time he gets out of that WWF contract.

I feel bad about this but I think I know what has to be done for th health of the company. I wish there was a save where I don't have to be the meanest promoter on earth but if you're going to leave, you're going to have to g out on your back.

That's just the way it has to work.

  4. I've run into a weird glitch (?)

I can't change the location of Great American Bash in the 1987 mod. At first, I thought it was because it was set to be run in the southeast under schedule so I changed it but that didn't fix it either.

For some reason, it says I've already set my location before I even go to that screen on the event page.

I want to run the show in New England instead of the southeast but I can't move the show.

I took a week off and now I'm back at it. This run had a very interesting start because Michelle Brendon came in as an owner.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm not gonna lie, She's pretty terrible stats-wise but she is a locker room leader so I guess I'll take what I get.</p><p> </p><p>

I wish I had gotten an active wrestler instead or someone with better psychology to act as a road agent but I guess she'll do for now.</p>

  6. <p>I actually find a lot of Real World mod stats to be lower then what I expect them to be.</p><p> </p><p>

I can't remember a time where I've used the editor to lower someone's stats because I can remember a handful of times where I've had to bump people's stats ups.</p><p> </p><p>

Especially Psychology and Selling. Those seem to be the two that every mod maker struggles with.</p>

  7. The challenge for me is usually to put the WWF/WWE out of business. I've taken the number one spot from them a couple of times but I've never managed to actually put them out of business completely. This is probably the main reason why I've always struggled with having a long-term WWF save, without a white whale to chase, the game does get boring. The year-end awards also give you a goal to shoot for. I' think Daniel Bryan averaged a 95* for the year in my TNA save and still lost out to John Cena.
  8. In my RTG I'm a cult company and the 14th most popular company in the world. So every time I offer a contract to someone, I seem to start a massive bidding war that I have to quickly exit.

It's hilarious because I just sit there nodding as SOTBW and USPW go to war all because of me.

I've completely inflated the wrestling market in a matter of months.

It kind of sucks because I'm losing out on some really good talent but it also puts a smile on my face because I constantly goad the other bigger companies into fighting each over everything.

  9. I got four years in and made it to the Cult but I think have to restart. I started my company in the midwest which was a mistake because there is no TV here and going to National with no tv doesn't seem like fun

Regional to Cult was a grind. Cult to National seems like a nightmare.

I think I'm going to restart in the Tverse because I know that it's much easier to get TV in an RTG in the Tverse then the CVerse.

  10. <p>I just remembered why I usually never run companies smaller then cult. I was playing my RTG Save and Marvel Malloy just got a major concussion on a CZCW show.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

That sucks because he was a main eventer in my company the American Cobras were having amazing matches. Now he's gone for a year with a concussion.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm also now paying him 700 bucks a month to not wrestle because' I'm regional and he has a downside. I love Non-Exclusive contracts in TEW, They're great.</p>

  11. <p>Start Of Year 1:</p><p>

    <img alt="JMDpKQ0.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/JMDpKQ0.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

    End Of Year 1:</p><p> </p><p>

    <img alt="efhSeyt.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/efhSeyt.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

    Finances: </p><p> </p><p>

    <img alt="NatQUdU.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NatQUdU.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

The biggest moment to happen during this run has been that I had to fire Felipe Caballero because he would not stop preaching about his religion in the locker room. He did it three times in a month and I fired him because he was tanking my backstage rating. It kind of sucks because he's a good wrestler and he was a decent performer but he was an absolute backstage cancer in this save.</p><p> </p><p>

The other thing you might have noticed is that my user character changed names. That's because I named him Eddy Strong without realizing that Sam Strong was one of the most famous wrestlers in the CVerse. I changed it to avoid any confusion.</p><p> </p><p>

For the end of year roll, I rolled a 41 so I go up to Middleweight. That doesn't do a whole lot for me, either way, other then I think it ups my star quality but my SQ was already pretty high so it's not going to make a huge difference.</p>

  12. <p>My problem with the AI pushing part-time legends is that they don't ever take age into account. Yes. John Cena is moreover then Adam Cole right now but in ten years, Adam Cole is going to be 40 and John Cena is going to be 52.</p><p> </p><p>

I feel like my main problem with the AI pushing legends is that the AI never seems to run into time decline issues. If I tried to push a 52-year-old Cena, it'd most likely be a disaster but it always works out for the AI and that's annoying.</p>

  13. Episode 3 consists of us crowning the first ever SUMMIT North American Champion. Kyler Adams has been improving immensely as I have decided to run 9 shows a month. I know its not exactly realistic but it will give us the best chance at completing the challenge down the line.

    Episode 3 -

I started watching your series because you showed up in my recommended feed on youtube. Your series has made me want to retry this challenge which I've failed twice before.

I don't have a lot of hope for making it this time honestly just because of I'mnot good enough at companies smaller then cult to finish this challenge and TEW 2020 comes out pretty soon but I'm going to try.

I really want to finish this challenge but I always fail at it. It's the grind that kills me. I'll get a year or two in and then I realize just how long it takes to complete this challenge.
