That's hilarious -
Possibly but I'd need you to clarify what's being asked.

I believe that is JMP's point.

CK is talking about something less rigid in terms of matches you have to book, closer in essence to a FIFA-style ranking system. Something that tracks match results and calculates rankings in the same way as the round robin, but somewhat freestyle.

I think.
-

Essentially have everything exactly the same as the Robin tourney, however instead of each worker needing to face each other, you simply accumulate points for your wins and draws whenever they compete against each other.

The options with something like this are endless:

-This could be great for people who want to see who did best in their main event scene on a yearly basis. Fan's of football or team sports (especially in Europe) can appreciate something like this.

-This could also be great if you run an end of the year achievement trophy, you can put the top 2 in the match in a playoff.

-Or if you run an MMA (shoot / Faux MMA) type company, this can be a fantastic way to see who the best performer, i know that in the USA they had that MMA organization a few years back who had team based competitions.

I do not think this should be difficult to implement because we already have the Robin round tournament. Basically this is the same thing, just you do not have to pitch specific workers against each other.

Regarding the tournament format we have now, it would be great if we could "run tournament". This means after picking the matches, we simply click "run tourney" and the matches will be booked.

Sounds more like a rankings system, do I understand you correctly? If so, I had the same thought.
-
Is it feasible for the character limit to be increased for these fields? Would allow for greater flexibility, especially in creating mods.

I love this game - what do you love?

This was me stating that if people do complain then they have a right. Like I said, about time I get home, the game will be out. But people in here are saying that others shouldn't be frustrated. No matter if they are Sony, EA, Chucklefish or a startup, gamers should know when the game is coming out and shouldn't have to guess. It is something they need to figure out and fix. It is one of their only problems. If it's a server issue, then they need to fix that. They've been putting out games for close to 2 decades now. There is no excuse for it. I won't complain about it but if you can't see how that would be frustrating to others then I don't think I'll be able to get this point across to you.

Believe me, I know gamer frustration. I’m a hardcore Mass Effect fan and I pre-ordered Andromeda, nothing can get close to that level of disappointment.
-

Nah, disagree massively. The fact is, we know when we’re dealing with Grey Dog they don’t make commitments they can’t or won’t meet. We also know this isn’t Sony or EA, who can commit to exact times months in advance. If the game is available for download a minute to midnight Arizona time, GDS have done exactly what they said they would. At no point did anyone commit to the demo being available as soon as the calendar says April 23, and I think everyone knew that wouldn’t be the case. This really isn’t a big deal, honestly. The game is almost certainly going to satisfy the overwhelming majority of us. The wait, the tension, the wondering, it’s all part of the experience. Enjoy it. -

My first encounter with Mr Ryland’s games was when a friend introduced me to EW9000. Thinking about it now, I just feel old. Promotion Wars was definitely the best of the rest but that’s not saying much — there were some tremendously shoddy attempts at alternatives knocking around at that time, many of which never even got finished — and, respectfully, even PW wasn’t anywhere close to EW in any meaningful way. EW Deluxe was miles ahead of anything anyone else (that I’m aware of) had even attempted, and so far the TEW series gets significantly better with every new release. I’m a confirmed purchase as long as the series goes on I reckon. -
