I did not come up with The Cartier Cartel i read it on the forums awhile back and really liked the name.

With a better name that is a kickass stable. It might be worth re-naming it in the editor

 

They disbanded after like 2 months. I assume it was due to the name that no one took them seriously. lol. I have however thought about starting a SWF game making that stable to dominate everyone. Under a different name of course.

Ah, that sucks a little. Seems like an important part of child companies is securing a TV deal for them which is kind of difficult if you can't upgrade those stats. Thanks for the reply though.

 

Go to the in game editor, add the booker of your child company as a new player, change the production levels then go back to the editor and leave the game as that player.

[TEW 2020 Small Questions Thread]

They will not hire anyone if you own them. If they have the box ticked saying they'll accept developmental workers only and not the owner ship box, then they'll hire people they need.

 

If you own them, you can send as many people as you want to developmental. It doesn't "fill up", but if you don't own them they'll start rejecting people when they feel they have too many people on developmental deals.

 

I just tested this and Vinsmoker is right. If you own the company but end your development agreement with them they will hire their own workers.

[Child Companies]

From what I can recall if you have a relationship with your child company to accept developmental workers they will only use what you sign and send to them. If you don't have a send developmental workers relationship with your child company they will sign their own workers and staff.

why not a have Nicky and Wolf come in as allies to Andrews. Nicky and Wolf can be in the tag ranks and doing 6 man tags with Andrews against the heels. Then tension can start brewing between Champion and Andrews. Nicky gets a title shot and Andrews causes him to lose the match setting up a huge fued between them.</p>

I feel in this situation there's no shame in using the editor to make his contract one day. The worker couldn't keep up his end of the deal so in my opinion it makes the contract null and void.

[What's Going on in Your Game?]

WWE (January 2004)

 

So I've just recently got started with a WWE game using the excellent Ruthless Aggression Mod by MrVillain. I'm one week in with little worth speaking about concerning my booking. Other than keeping my options open over whether to have Eddie Guerrero win the 2004 Royal Rumble instead of Chris Benoit, I booked the first week of 2004 exactly as it happened in reality.

 

So, I get done booking Smackdown, only to be hit with this...

 

 

Talk about a game changer!

 

All of the McMahon family now hate both Triple H and Trish Stratus. This is potentially going to have a massive impact on screen too, as just like in reality, I wanted Triple H to keep the World Heavyweight Championship until Mania 20. Trish getting caught up in this is also going to mess up my Chris Jericho/Christian feud, which was going to run right into Mania (and beyond) with Trish eventually tuning heel and siding with Christian as she did in reality.

 

I'm not sure how to go about handling this right now. Should I take action concerning Triple H/Trish Stratus right away? Or should I try and ride the situation out and continue onward with my original booking plans like WWE attempted to do in 2005 with the whole Lita/Edge/Matt Hardy situation?

 

This is by far the biggest scandal I've been hit with in TEW so early into a save. It's going to be crazy ride going forward, but I'm looking forward to it!

 

IMHO Vince would do what was best for business

and have Triple H keep the title til Mania were he would lose it then job Triple H out to people who barely deserve it before letting him go, the same with Trish except I think he'd fire her right after Mania.

[Viable Newgens]

It is a little thing for sure and I only used that name as an example because that was the one I saw most recently. But my various saves are full of workers with outlandish names and it does take away from the game for me.

 

I will freely admit that it is a me thing. I used to run into the same problem with OOTP Baseball as well. I would come across names that were either a mashup of two famous players or they would be names that just seemed to odd to fit the person. I remember one guy was named Pedro Clemens. What the hell?
