I appreciate that. The eyesore was one of the driving reasons I learned to cut. Of course that leads me to having thousands of recuts to do when I change backgrounds. lol. If you have any requests, you can feel free to make them. It's very possible I have them on my to-do list, and sometimes I need a reason to cut, other than just finishing this never ending project. I appreciate the other kind words as well. Even though I've cut for many backgrounds, this is only the 3rd I've used personally (kyky, then the CW grey) It's always nice to freshen up the game. Now, at some point I should actually PLAY the game....

I appreciate that. I apologize for the heatedness, but I felt a bit of an attack on my work that was uncalled for. Like I said, I know it's not everyone's taste (proven by what most cuts usually look like) I've just always preferred as much visual information as possible, without it being too up close or far off, especially if I'm not familiar with the worker. More often than not, a close up face shot doesn't tell you if he/she is super ripped, a fat slob, or what, you know? That's why I cut the way I do

To be technical, saying you would use them, but my style isn't your cup of tea, isn't answering my question. I'm also not sure how many times I have to point out that I'm not the original cutter on so many of these, but, ok, I'll take the blame for everyone else who's ever cut. Clearly, my fault. As far as "friendly advice" I'm not really sure ignoring the reality of what I said to continue to push your own aesthetic preference is really friendly, or advice. Everyone has their preference, but, just because I don't cut to your preference, doesn't degrade what I do. I really dislike the up close face only cuts, but, I'm not going to talk shit because it's not my preference. In a perfect world, every single wrestler would shoot the exact same style of picture, so everything can be perfect. But, oh well, all we have is this one. If you don't want to use my pics, I really couldn't care less. But, pointing out how my "inconsistency" isn't up to your personal preferences isn't helpful, in any way. I'm all for real, helpful constructive criticism. I've learned many tricks over the years that I never thought of. But, just telling someone they aren't cutting to what you, specifically, want, isn't going to do anything

<p>And again, since some of my cuts are converts, I can't help that others have destroyed the information I needed. I'm very, let's say OCD for lack of better terms, about having workers with no pics. It's annoying, and a complete eyesore. So, unless you can get Johnny green horn to break out the bucks for the big WWE/ROH style pics, I'd rather have what I have available. </p><p> </p><p> One last point. While I try to cut similarly, as often as available, I'm not someone who cares about a "style" as, since I'm not being paid, that literally is meaningless. There is no way you'll ever have a full set (unless you only have big name workers, or fictitious renders) that are all 100% identical in cut. It's impossible, just based on general quality alone. </p><p> </p><p> I wasn't asking for critiques on my work, at all, since again, I couldn't care less. I asked if anyone used them. Because if not I'd stop wasting my time uploading, zipping, and posting. These cuts are for me. For my game. Period. The only exceptions are workers with belts, and maybe the random alts you run across, as I don't really use them in my set. </p><p> </p><p> Since I've been doing this for a decade now, I think I'm gonna go ahead and keep doing it as I have. Use them, don't, print them out and burn them, makes no difference to me, and has nothing to do with the very, very, very simple question I asked. In all honesty, I should have ignored what you said anyway (no offense to you, personally, but, like I said, it had nothing to do with my question)</p><p> </p><p> Perhaps do what I did all those years ago. Do'em yourself. See just how much time it takes to even find some of the pictures you need to fill in, let alone workable ones. Then cookie cutter them. We need more people helping cut anyway</p>

My sizing is "under control" What I can't control is the shit quality pics out there. A lot of the older recuts I'm doing were originally cut, like, 7 years ago by other people. All the new cuts are from excellent sources, cut relatively the same size, obviously depending on the source picture, again. I've always preferred to get as much worker info in the pic as possible, without it being too small overall. I can't deal with the extreme close up face pics. That's why I started cutting (one of the reasons) Not every wrestler/company seems to take the day out to get a decent promo pic (how they ever get booked baffles me. Maybe that's the one true Los Angeles jaded feature I have) And as for the "no pattern" You may notice almost all the cuts are from about the nipple line, to the skull. Some will have more hair, because it looks better. That seems pretty patterned to me.

So, poll time again. Is anybody using these cuts? I know there are about 3000 backgrounds floating out there right now, but I'm curious. Mostly because if not, I won't worry about posting them, or posting as often.

If anyone gets a chance, there are 6 pics in this zip, all I'd need is the backgrounds and borders erased, and the worker saved as a png file. If anyone can help out, I'd appreciate it. I have a ton to do, so any help takes a few off my plate.cutting.zip

I appreciate that, and no rush, it's a massive job I have undertaken, and it'll probably take me a long time to go through them, so any help helps me a lot. It's just 10 cuts in this zip, as I don't want to request an overwhelming amount at any one time. I know how burned out that can make a person. All converts to grated, plus the blank png along with them is alls I need. EDIT: Just thought of this, if it saves you time, I can just take the blank pngs.
