  1. I am soooooooo glad its snowing. This has been my favorite mod in past versions and i would expect no change Thanks M

I want to book my War Games Match but one worker is going to debut that night. He is a surprise partner. I think it would be cool and helpful to put everyone in place for the match but be able to have a spot for a surprise entrant into the match.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I like this feature. in 2010 they had a TBA spot for all matches and it was nice if you just wanted a throwaway card to give your names a chance to get a quick win, or if you had a contract offered that was just taking a bit more time to get done and wanted a spot for the new hire. I'm 100% with you on this.</p>
  3. I agree 1000% It seems that any "traditional" company has no chance of going under. The PPV and tv revenue is INSANE compared to the running costs of a company. even the sponsor money seems a bit high to me. I traditionally run small feds and grow them, so I cant speak for the really big ones.
  4. Years ago Colorado was split north and south. From the live events to the TV shows. The north section, Denver area was mid west AWA. While the south area Colorado Springs, was WCCW/NWA. And Minnesota is ALL mid west IMO. As I mentioned this was years ago but in my mind it would still be the same. For what its worth, $.00
  5. The LAW logo looks good. what font are you using?
  6. <p>I've noticed the managers I have seem to be gaining really quickly.</p><p> Deanne Desire from 0-20 in a month with out me trying. I'm sure it will get balanced out over the next few weeks</p>
  7. Pre booking TV Tapings I was wondering if I'm doing this wrong. When I do my tv I tape 4 shows on the same day. If I pre book all 4 shows I get a penalty for not having all my pre booked matches/angles on the first card, second card ect. Anyone have any ideas or am I stuck with just my first card in pre book?
  8. After playing most of the games in the series (skipped2013) I can understand some of the frustration that is felt with 2020. When 2013 and 2016 came out the interface was new and different compared to 2010 and it really turned me off to both games. I went back to 2010 and would occasionally dabble in 16. After time getting used to 16 my familiarity with game made it easier and more fun. Then two mods got me into it all the way ( Death of the territories and The Golden Age Thanks to the mod makers). The skins for 2020 where horrible for me, within a day of release I found 2 new skins and problem solved. Adam has historically been very good at listening to his customers and I expect no less for 2020. Are there problems with the beta, yes but I feel very comfortable that they will be addressed. I'm really hoping we can set our product to fit our preferences, will it happen? I have no idea, if they don't, I will figure it out like any other game. There are tons of good additions in 2020 and I think once everyone gets used to the new UI and the patches/ retail version come out, its going to be a fun game just like all the others have been. Everyone needs to take a deep breath and relax everything will work out. Sorry for the long post but I wanted to get all my thoughts in one.
  9. I read somewhere that if you turn off the picture requirement in the settings that another group of workers will appear for India just no pics. I haven't tried India yet so I'm not sure if tis true or not

I hope everyone is doing ok! This is actually my first time playing any TEW game at all. I am a huge wrestling fan and when I heard there was a game about booking matches and running your own company, I thought it sounded fun! I downloaded the demo for the 2020 version, but im not exactly sure where to start...it seems that a lot of folks here have been playing for years and I was wondering if there's any advice or tips for a newcomer like myself? I'm sorry if the question has been asked before! Thanks so much!! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Start at the bottom with a small fed. this will let you get the hang of the game with a small roster, and not be overwhelmed with sixty workers all wanting to be on the card. one show per month just until you get the feel for booking.( if you are losing money each month switch to one show every two months) read the manual the game is pretty in depth and has a ton of quirks. I'm not a new player for the series but I was more into 2010 so I missed out on a ton of additions and changes in 13 & 16 so its like I'm a newbie with 2020. the manual has helped a ton. Most important don't get caught up in the complaints its a new beta release, the patches will come, the players will get used to the new interface and the game will be fun. And the mods will only improve the game. I like to do test games ( I start clicking buttons) just to get a feel for all the different things and the "flow" of the interface. Also check the boards for helpful posts like what angles, what workers etc.. I hope this helps and welcome to the group. Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions and ill do my best to help.</p>
  11. Thank You Kam Thank You for all the work you did on this. The new skin has totally improved the visual appeal of the game and will definitely save my old eyes.
  12. <p>I have been using my 2016 logos, banners ect.</p><p> They seem to work</p>
  13. Awesome news! I could only play 2016 with Territory Daze, I just couldn't get into the feel of the new interface (from 2010) But that mod brought me into the game since I was a kid during that time period. I love that mod. Thank You
  14. <p>Same as always</p><p> </p><p> Start a new federation, waste a couple days doing the art work, belts, and events/tv show banners ect</p><p> After that local to global in the c-verse. </p><p> Then hope like hell someone with talent and patience creates a 70s mod I can run for 30years or so. Yes I still liked it better when wrestling was "real".</p>

Nikita Koloff had just become the new US Champion! How heart wrenching it was to see OUR US Title be held by that horrible "Russian". Oh I miss the days when I loved wrestling from that innocent point of view. That is why I love this game! I get to re live those wonderful days!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Wow!!! You just brought back a great memory, Magnum was one of my first real favorite wrestlers, not just another face to cheer for and Nakita was an awesome heel, you just had to hate that evil Russian. I miss those days as well.</p><p> </p><p> Thank You</p>
