Hey all, starting up a May 2001 NOAH save (haven't run any shows yet). Would love some rules to try and spice it up just a bit.
Thanks!
From 5th Pillar to #1 - With Taue & Misawa aging and Kobashi becoming injury prone, the main focus of the company should be on Jun Akiyama, make him the figurehead going forward.
Out of the Emerald Doghouse - Omori angered Misawa in 2000 by ending a match with Shinya Hashimoto early and was never fully given a chance in NOAH due to this, but all is now forgiven, give him a significant push and have him win the GHC Heavyweight title within the next three years.
Better Gaijin Bureau - Some of the gaijin NOAH brought in around this time were pretty mediocre, bring in Samoa Joe and Bryan Danielson and make them the top gajin of the heavyweight and junior heavyweight division respectively.
A Little Bit of Inokiism - Kazushi Sakuraba is awesome and gaining popularity around this time due to his work in PRIDE, capitalize on that by bringing him into NOAH.
Thank You Taue - Taue is severely underrated and only held the Triple Crown once in his career, show that he means something to you by giving him one more run with the GHC Heavyweight title.
The KENTAfuji Conundrum - KENTA & Marufuji are the future of NOAH but if you decide to move them up to heavyweight you can only choose one of them and the other must remain a junior for the rest of their career unless one of them is no longer in NOAH.

According to this tweet, it appears Zeus has left All Japan Pro Wrestling to become the president of Osaka Pro Wrestling and plans on restarting the company. It seems like the split was smooth and the two companies will work together with Zeus working All Japan part time.

Here's a list of almost every sumo shikona used irl, you could also combine some of these to make some original names. What's a good name for a Japanese sumo wrestler? If it helps, I gave him Ryota Ioka's picture. Also looking for a faction name idea for my stable consisting of 4 heavyweights & above homegrown wrestler and one junior heavyweight wrestler. All Japanese wrestlers.

I like playing historical saves to play out "what if" scenarios such as I've been recently playing a 1992 All Japan save because I want to be able to properly book finishing out Jumbo's storyline with Misawa and his career as a whole.

I think Yamamoto could work, when written in Kanji as Yama (山) means mountain and moto (本) means origin. If he's meant to be like the mountain of a man that Sasaki is then I'd say that fits well.Question for my TEW save, I'm looking to come up with a new name for a Japanese heavyweight guy. I want his first name to be "Strong", but I don't know what his last name could be. His real life coutnerpart would be Kensuke Sasaki I'd say. Can someone help me trying to figure a good last name for him? Been thinking about it for months now. -
"Wild Beast" Manabu Nakanishi + "Blue Justice" Yuji Nagata = Wild Justice?Need a tag team name for a 1995 young Yuji Nagata and Manabu Nakanishi. -

I actually want to hear more about this, I kinda want to steal from this for my own save.Nevermore's ECW diary made me start a NWA save with a sole target of slowly taking over the wrestling world from WCW and WWE. I started in 1996 which lasted 8-9 years? As I took on both WCW and WWE and had rivalries in my roster which went on for years.

Easily one of my favorite promotions in the CVerse, the hood rat hardcore aesthetic hits close to home.

I haven't been able to get too much into 2020 but the allure of being able to play as All Japan right before the exodus might be just the thing.
