  1. I'm not entirely sure, to be honest, but I'm pretty sure it will be profitable to a degree. But I've only ever used the create a broadcaster functionality once, just because I've never played a company that size.

If I recall, you also don't have to be international with high popularity in Australia to get Australian workers, so if you raise your pop in Canada or Mexico, which makes the most sense, you should be able to get to international and grab Swoop.

I did have a game where I got Swoop, but in that game, APW started doing really well and were in a working agreement with me, they signed Swoop when Raw had some sort of scandal and lost some popularity/momentum. This allowed me to talent trade for Swoop and then sign him out right.

I hadn't considered Canada or Mexico, as SWF are already Cult in those areas. I have just set up an APW working agreement with the express purpose of stealing all the ex-RAW guys, so...

This is definitely something to consider, I'll try testing it and edit this when I have results.

EDIT: Using 2016 SWF and the autobooker, with Supreme TV on a broadcaster with Enormous coverage worldwide and PPVs on CANN, I made almost $2 million.

  2. you can just open a Free-To-Air broadcaster in Australia (smallest region that you aren't broadcasting in) at Medium to Enormous and get to 47 importance there pretty quickly (within a year maybe if you have a second A show?) so you can be International and then sign him whenever his contract runs up.

I imagine SWF and USPW are probably the easiest route to acquiring Swoop if you aren't Australian, and to reaching International/Global in the entire game without even having to do much/any gaming.

In theory, if I were to open a worldwide FTA broadcaster and run TV exclusively on that, with a PPV deal for events, would it be profitable? With my own broadcaster, I'd like to get RIPW US exposure as well.

Thanks for your advice so far.

  4. thanks! Those are great ideas from both of you. I am going to run a little mix of both suggestions. Im gonna have Edd vs Duane at this upcoming big end of the month event, but have Duane and Edd embrace in the ring afterwords. Ill have Keith come down and get mad that Duane couldnt get the job done and that he is sick of the Stone family. Have duane and edd double powerbomb Keith through a table.

This leads to a big Main event for the next month, Edd and Duane teaming up together one night only to try and win the WWL (Alliance that I created) tag belts together.

Ill then have Greg Gauge (Sam Keiths son incase anyone else reading isnt aware), run in and cost the Stones the tag titles.

Thiiiis leads into a Gauge vs Stone match and I can turn the whole feud from "Edd stone isnt living up to the stone legacy" into "Keith thinks his family is better than stones"

aaaaaaand then eventually somehow lead this into Edd Stone saying hes overcame every single legend, 2nd generation star, etc that Keith has brought in, and challenges Sam Keith himself for a 1 on 1 match to finally end by far the longest feud ive ever ran.

You guys literally gave me like an extra 6-8 months out of this feud when I was debating ending it lol. Thanks.

Which other second-gens do you have? You could bring in the likes of Cam Vessey, etc., from Sam's MAW days, maybe have Sam attack Greg for losing to Edd and set up Edd/Gauge vs. two others with the prize for the winner of the fall being a match with Sam. You could also spin that into an Edd vs Greg feud in the aftermath, provided you only officially turn Greg once.

Now that I read this, if you hadn't already posted half of your biggest storyline, this save would be fantastic for a diary. :)

Please talk me out of it.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> These both sound fun, but to comply with your request, 4 is *probably* enough. If you're that compelled, you could start the saves now and have them ready for when one diary ends.</p>
  6. <p>A) Almost certainly not.</p><p>

    B) You don't actually need faces and heels, because the majority of your top guys are better heels than faces so some would require turns for balance purposes. Alternatively, you could just have an idea in your head of who is face and heel. This is almost certainly better, as it allows for more variety. For example, I treat Kikkawa as semi-heel and Horri as face.</p>

I also prefer them at lower levels, as it isn't easy or cheap to get popular workers when starting out.</p>

As a personal preference, I like to go for fewer shows, often just 8 or so in the first year and let the sponsor money fill up my account when it runs low. It's a far, far slower approach but I also like to get a few years into the game to let the game world evolve a bit and see some of the regens and new workers that I don't often get to play with when I'm running a lot of shows. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> I usually do bi-monthly shows until I profit in a 'show month', at which point I move to monthlies. How high is it possible to go with the 'Apu Method', allowing for a reduction in shows to recover debt? IIRC, the region I'm running shows in has around 85 importance with a B- and rising industry</p><p> (that's from memory, I'm using grades to do the full thing)?</p><p> </p><p> Thanks for your advice.</p>
