Although not a huge request i would like to have more Nationalities added than what we had in TEW. There we had Mexican, US, Canadian, Japan, Europe, UK ,Australia and others. I hope we will have at least Holland, Brazil, Russia, S.Korea, China, Thailand are musts. I would like to have at least 20 of the most well known countries included. Why? I like the idea of creating "UK vs France" tournaments, adding specialised titles for certain Nations, and generally it gives more flavour to the game and where they come from.
If Adam decides to include "angles" of any kind I think Country A v Country B could be a viable "angle" for an MMA fight.
Similar to the recent "clash of nations" by UFC. Although frankly speaking i am hoping we won't have angles or at least we should not be forced to use them for better show ratings.

I assume if they have promotion types some won't rely at all on angles, nor do I think they should ever be required but they would be a way to help boost ratings.

I mean, granted there was 1 American on the card, and almost every fighter on the main card was from a different country but they didn't really play it off a lot in the build up.
This idea came up when i heard of the Thailand vs Holland in K-1
thats kick boxing... k-1 has a mma brand called heros but both of those countries are not known for mma like they are known for kick boxing but of course i agree both countries should be in it as should china even if i have never heard of a mma fighter from china in the history of mma i am sure some are out there... somewhere...

It is simply their regime which is pulling them back, i am flying there in a week and believe me, they have guys there which know how to kick ass! I expect in the future we will see Chineese MMA fighters start to gradually appear, with their history in martial arts in general it will be a surprise if we don't.

Another reason why i think nationality can be usefull is if a "local hero" went up against a "foreigner" maybe the outsider would get booed, possibly influencing somewhat his moral. Like St Perrier (i think i spelt that wrong!). He got booed during some of his matches against some US fighters. I thought it did not influence him, but after one of his fights, i remember that he spent most of his post fight statements connected to his nationality. Of corse nationality is only a minor aspect of the game. It won't play almost any influence in the results of most bouts (even if a local has a slight moral boost), it plays little in the marketing (although foreigners may not know the language stopping them from properly promoting themselves and their own fights). In general the public usually want to see local winners. So possibly a local national could market slightly better.
UFC has had at least 1, if not two PPV's that were full USA vs Canada cards. Every match had a USA fighter vs a Canadian fighter. I don't think you should have to rely on this but its fun to do sometimes for something different.
That is something what i had in mind

And more importantly is the region of Korea in the game? Korea being home of Taekwondo as well as Yudo (judo) seems to be a silly one not to be represented.IMHO. If not is there some kind of region location editor like in TEW?
