Only days ago it was revealed by the board of directors that Shane McMahon had approached and secured a special superstar draft for eXcess. The draft means the eXcess brand will be granted two random WWE superstars, one from RAW and one from Smackdown, plus one special draft pick of Shane's choice, well tomorrow night our GM Shane McMahon has told WWE.com that he will reveal his very own special draft choice pick! Just whom has Shane decided to bring into the mix here on eXcess?! Some would say that alone would be worthy enough to want to tune in, but Shane has also announced to us that tomorrow night's main event will feature WWE Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley, going up against New Breed member "The Alpha Male" Marcus Cor Von! Cor Von was part of the attack aftermath last week and attacked Lashley during his entrance, will payback be unstoppable or will the numbers game be too much, with both Elijah Burke and Creative Control bound to be around in some form. Also on the show, after last week's mid match lead pipe attack by the Elite Outlaws on High Impact, Sean Spears will square off against "The Drifter" Derrick Neikirk in singles action! Can High Impact gain some sort of revenge or will the outlaws take a lead in the score between them? Show is currently 14:02 min's done, so still got bit to do yet until tis ready to post, so probably will be up sometime near weekend. Given the news in an earlier update I have a feeling Shane's pick would be Orton, which could be great. If he picks somebody who's a big deal, ideally I'd like them to turn on him and allign with Lashley to even the numbers a bit. 5 vs. 1 is a little much.

Both of them holding onto those very lead pipes used last week, leading of course to loud boos from the fans.[/COLOR] [COLOR="darkslategray"][B][Ace][/B] - "They were only getting revenge for that fast count defeat at One Night Stand III, so they used a little something extra, to me thats clever."[/COLOR] [COLOR="#25587E"]"Phoenix" by Typecast hit as Sean Spears, along with his partner Cody Rhodes came out onto the ramp way to a decent response. After having the upper hand for the early minutes Neikirk took a time out on the outside to talk to Knox to regain his composure. The plan seemed simple when he got back into the ring, use Knox to distract the ref and get control of the match. They did exactly that by a low blow when the ref was telling Knox to get down off the apron. With "The Drifter" Derrick Neikirk now in control, he used his bar brawling style to inflict some damage on the body of Spears, occasionally using Knox to choke Spears with the lead pipe, when he taunted Rhodes up onto the apron to distract the ref. Finally Cody decided to take a different approach to the situation, he ran around the ring, charged at Knox with flying forearm knocking him back and the lead pipe down to the floor. The ref then jumped out of the ring to try to break up the two fighting on the outside and as he was, Sean Spears despite still struggling somewhat saw the lead pipe on the floor just down from where he was on the apron. He picked it up and as Neikirk came to lift him up, dealt a blow to the head with it, knocking "The Drifter" down and out. Spears quickly threw the pipe back down to the floor outside and rolled over onto Neikirk just as the ref was getting back in the ring, a 3 count later and High Impact had themselves a portion of lead pipe revenge, with a win to boot. They excitedly made their way to the ring and climbed the corner turnbuckles to a good cheer for the fans. [/COLOR] [COLOR="darkslategray"][B][Keirn][/B] - "I'm not sure they actually know its Creative Control they are facing here tonight Ace, they seem way too happy!"[/COLOR] [COLOR="darkslategray"][B][Ace][/B] - "Yeah, that or they are just plain idiots Steve, I mean Soldiers Of Metal, what type of name is that, idiots. The massive pair immediately used their brawling style to isolate young Chris Rombola away from his more experienced cousin Stevie. After only 4 minutes, Stevie tried to help Chris by charging over at Reigns, however Martin got into the ring and managed to down him after a huge clothesline. The finish was now not in any doubt, Martin threw Stevie to outside over the top rope, they then lifted Rombola up and nailed him with The Pain Test (double big boot, one from front and one from behind), for the pin fall win. After this Reigns slid to the outside, grabbed Richards by the trunks, rolled him back into the ring where Creative Control exercised the exact same treatment as that given to Rombola, The Pain Test! Cor Von then stripped the champion of his title belt before starting to pummel down kicks to Lashley's ribs and chest area. With the match actually under way with Shane's order, Cor Von slide back into the ring to stop the initial count to 10. Over the next 4 minutes Cor Von continued the assault to the rib and chest area, clearly setting the wheels in motion to create further pain with for his Pounce move. The steal ring steps, guard barricade and ring's edge provided plenty of weapons to maneuver Lashley around, causing considerable pain along the way, all the time cheered on by New Breed leader Elijah Burke. Finally Cor Von rolled Lashley into the ring, but didn't lay up on the attack, Cor Von slammed the big frame of Lashley down a couple of times before lifting Bobby into a tree of woe position in the corner, from here "The Alpha Male" used his huge shoulders into the upside down abdomen of the champ, a dozen times at least. With the match now just ticking over the 12 minute mark and Lashley only ever able to gain the upper hand for brief moments, due to the pain he was in, Cor Von decided to Irish whip Lashley across the ropes for a big finale. He then ran towards the ropes on the other side, came back off them to try and hit the Pounce, but was surprised by a flying Bobby Lashley coming towards him, meeting him with a huge spear stopping him dead in his tracks. By now Burke had already turned to face the crowd taunting them as he thought the Pounce was imminent. Lashley then fell back over Cor Von holding his ribs for the 3 count, much to the shock of Elijah Burke who had just turned back to face the ring. After the match Bobby Lashley rolled to the outside as Burke entered the ring to ask what happened to Cor Von. The camera closed in on Lashley's face, that was not only in pain but also had a big degree of worry about the prior announcement made by Shane McMahon. Kevin Thorn of course left The New Breed not long ago and has yet to really be seen on eXcess, maybe he's been on holiday, we aren't quite sure, but no extra tan, ah forget it, he's a freak and I'm glad he hasn't been around, he scares me, to think these fans just cheered him down to the ring....." Another wrestler not seen here on eXcess yet and in his last match he lost to CM Punk at One Night Stand III. This was finally rectified when Bob Holly used a rake to the eyes to put himself into the driving seat, which he clearly enjoyed. After some punches, kicks and slams, Holly whipped Thorn to the corner and started delivering chop after chop after chop on the vampire's chest. Another slam and then Holly went away from his usual tactics to climb to the top, possibly going for a flying clothesline, a move Holly occasionally uses. However as he was climbing Thorn called the ref over to him on the canvas and whilst distracted Ariel managed to grab a leg of Holly as he neared the top, then she decided to see if she could draw blood as she started biting on his calf with her huge thangs. Thorn was now able to get to his feet, Ariel jumped back down to floor and Thorn pulled Holly's body out to nail The Dark Kiss for the 3 count. Nice show again, the Orton interview was especially good. Personally I think matches work better written in present tense as it allows for a more exciting tone. Can't wait to see what you do with Punk, and who the new picks from Raw and Smackdown are.

Nunzio after The Idolizer (outward swinging neckbreaker) and the second match saw Kenny Dykstra def. Christian York with the Lights Out leg drop. So the bad? Well unfortunately, as much as storyline wise it made sense, we feel the bad has to go to Creative Control's squash of Soldiers Of Metal. In a time when fans of Stevie Richards thought a potential push with 'cousin' Chris Rombola could be on the cards, in their debut match they got taken out big stylee by Martin & Reigns. Of course it followed suit with backstage angle, but still it claims this weeks bad, give Stevie a chance WWE, please. Having said that, it was nice to see a couple of new teams introduced to div, its actually starting to build nicely. Currently we see him initially as a tweener like wrestler positioned to be able to feud with Shane whilst still potentially face the likes of Lashley & Punk. The actual promo itself was very good, worthy enough of being the elite for us this week, especially when combined with the whole Shane special draft choice pick storyline.
