RAW Monday, Week 2 June 2007 John Cena comes out to make a challenge to the roster. Randy Orton comes out to tell the champ that last week wasn’t all there is in the repertoire of the Legend Killer. Orton said flat out that he wanted another shot at Cena! The Champion said that Orton needs to prove himself, and Orton says he will, tonight, against Umaga! WWE Intercontinental Championship Match vs. Santino Marella vs. Viscera The rookie champion continued his lucky streak by overcoming the world’s largest love machine, Viscera! Viscera tried to flatten the champion with a body slam, when Santino rolled out and locked in a arm bar on the big man for the submission victory. Winner: Santino Marella A hype video is played for our main event between Randy Orton and Umaga vs. Kenny Dykstra vs. Elijah Burke Ric Flair came out for commentary on this match between his rival Burke and up and coming Kenny Dykstra. Burke tried to play up to his strengths by boxing with Dykstra. Dykstra used Burke’s one-dimensional offense to his advantage, grappling Burke to the ground and beating him while he’s off his feet. Dykstra had Burke down and out and officially put him away with a top rope leg drop. Winner: Kenny Dykstra The Hardyz come to the ring to a huge crowd pop. Matt grabs a microphone and calls out any tag team on the roster to come out and challenge them! Many people thought that World’s Greatest Tag Team would answer the challenge. Instead, ECW’s Justin Credible and Tajiri rushed the ring and jumped the tag champions. vs. Justin Credible & Tajiri vs. The Hardyz The Hardyz had the disadvantage from the beginning following their blind-sided attack. The Hardyz eventually started to get their wits about them and mount a comeback thanks to their high risk offense. A Whisper in the Wind from Jeff flattened Tajiri in the corner, and Matt took him out with a Twist of Fate. This looked like the end, but Credible came in and took Matt’s head off with a Superkick! Justin battled with Jeff while Tajiri slowly came to. Jeff turned around and got a face of GREEN MIST, which led him to turn around into a Superkick from Credible to finish the match! Winner: Justin Credible & Tajiri Justin Credible grabs a microphone and says that they’ve moved into the big leagues now. He told the crowd that Credible and Tajiri are names that can’t just be ignored anymore. He said that he’s fighting for the honor of ECW, and he’s beaten all the relics of commercialism, the lost souls of ECW that couldn’t cut it still so they sold out for a plush paycheck. Credible explained that he’s cleaning out the filth for “His” return. Most of the trash has been taken out, but there’s still one person that needs to be taken care of; Vince McMahon! vs. Ric Flair vs. Edge Flair showed why he’s been on a roll as of late, while Edge showed why he’s been in a slump. Edge’s mind is still stuck on the Ken Kennedy situation. Flair took advantage of this and showed why he’s the dirtiest player in the game by punishing the Rated R Superstar. Edge started to mount a comeback when the dastardly Ken Kennedy rushed the ring and dropped Edge throat-first on the top turn buckle, which Flair used to take him down and lock in a Figure Four for the win! Winner: Ric Flair Ken Kennedy stood over Edge and taunted him while Ric Flair grabbed a microphone. Flair hyped up Kennedy, calling him a future of the industry, especially with the right guidance! Flair offered Kennedy a spot as his new protégé, and Kennedy said it would be his honor. Flair told the crowd that tonight was the start of this man’s career ridin’ high! WHOOOOOOOOOOO! JR and the King discuss the formation of the new alliance between Kennedy and Flair, and they discuss what this could mean for the rest of the superstars in the WWE. They then talk about the main event, which is up next! vs. Randy Orton vs. Umaga Randy Orton was all business tonight against the Samoan Bulldozer. They traded blows and looked liked epic gladiators with countless exchanges of bloodying blows that did little to nothing to either of the competitors. Orton, despite the loss the Cena, still had some confidence following his victory over Khali at Judgment Day, and he used some of his strategy on Khali’s McMahon Incorporated associate. Orton went to finish the match with a RKO off the top rope, but Umaga caught him and dropped him with a Black Hole Slam-type move. A running splash later, it looked like Umaga was going to kill Orton’s momentum, but the legend killer got a shoulder up at two and three quarters, which stunned the crowd. Orton busted out an old move of his which got a huge pop as he took Umaga down with an Overdrive and the shock from the drop was enough to get a three count on the big Samoan! Winner: Randy Orton Orton celebrated in the ring as Cena made his way out to the entry ramp. Cena gave Orton a few supportive claps, and Orton scowled at the champion and motioned for the championship to be around his waist as we came to an end with a very tense stare down.

ECW Tuesday, Week 2 June 2007 Justin Credible comes to the ring, and gloats about his invasion of RAW last night. He says Vince McMahon still hasn’t responded to his challenge, just showing how much of a piece of trash “the boss” is. He then runs down the list of all the other garbage he’s disposed of, when Mick Foley comes out! Foley says that he was listening real close to Credible’s list, and he was offended that the two “hardcore geezers”, himself and Terry Funk weren’t on the list! Credible then apologized, and said that come One Night Stand, consider yourselves taken out. Extreme Rules Match vs. Kevin Thorn vs. Balls Mahoney This is a continuing of the feud between the ECW Originals and the New Breed. Balls had the advantage, as he was raised in the hardcore environment his whole career, while Thorn is still new to the style. Cor Von and Striker made their way out to the ring, which brought out Dreamer and Sandman, and the six men brawled it out with whatever they could grab. Balls went for his punch combination, and right before he hit the knockout punch, Thorn spit a RED MIST into Mahoney’s face, which blinded him and was enough for Thorn to get the victory. Winner: Kevin Thorn CM Punk cuts a promo about how everyone is claiming he’s the future of the promotion, which he thinks is flattering, but right now he wants to take care of the here and now. He challenges Bobby Lashley, because Lashley has a history with McMahon that Punk could find useful in the upcoming battles. vs. CM Punk vs. Bobby Lashley This was a match of pure class and respect between the two biggest faces in ECW right now. Punk used his finesse style of fluid technical wrestling, while Lashley used his brute strength to gain an advantage over the straightXedge superstar. Lashley hoisted Punk up onto his shoulder for a Dominator, but that plan was cut off by Snitsky! Snitsky knocked the ref out from behind, and took Lashley’s head off with a Big Boot! Snitsky then draped the unconscious Punk over the former champion, and revived the ref, who made the three count. Unaware of what happened, Punk helped Lashley to his feet, but Lashley pulled away and stormed off, thinking Punk had something to do with the attack. Punk stood in the ring looking frustrated and distraught as Bobby walked to the back, his back turned the CM. Winner: CM Punk Justin Credible is backstage hyping up Tajiri for his match with Rob Van Dam, which is up next! Credible reminds Tajiri if he’s in trouble, there’s always “Plan B”, which makes Tajiri smile menacingly. vs. Tajiri vs. Rob Van Dam These two’s style compliment each other very well and this was a great match to continue the war between Credible and all the current ECW stars. Van Dam had Tajiri well scouted, and was about to counter a lot of the innovated offense from the Japanese buzz saw. The turning point of the match was when Van Dam was on the top rope about to deliver a flying martial arts kick, but Tajiri crotched him on the top rope and proceeded to lock in the Tarantula! It was all Tajiri from there, and he finished the match off with a horrific kick to the head which knocked Van Dam limp, an easy victim for a three count. Winner: Tajiri Just when it looked like Rob Van Dam had enough, from out of nowhere, PSICOSIS ran to the ring and started beating him down! The crowd was shocked to see one of the original extreme luchadores return and even more surprised when he and Justin Credible raised Tajiri’s hands in celebration the end the show!

SmackDown! Friday, Week 2 June 2007 Michael Cole and JBL thank everyone for coming, and they tell us that Teddy Long has signed Ken Kennedy to go one on one with MVP in the main event, and just then, Porter comes to the ring! MVP talks about The Undertaker, saying that he’s tired of the mind games, and if Taker really wants his shot at the highest paid man in sports entertainment, then just be a man and come out and take it! The Undertaker doesn’t show, MVP smirks and says that’s what he thought and went to the back, as confident as ever. vs. Paul London vs. Jimmy Wang Yang Two of the top contestants in both the cruiserweight and tag team divisions took each other on in an extremely competitive high octane contest. London showed why he was a former cruiserweight champion by displaying his impressive arsenal of flips and submission holds. Yang looked strong, but this was London’s night, who finished off Yang with a Dropsault. Winner: Paul London Brian Kendrick grabs a microphone and calls out Jamie Noble, challenging him, saying it’s time to make it a clean sweep. vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Jamie Noble London and Yang were ringside for this contest between this impromptu match up between their partners, continuing the war between all the tag teams on SmackDown! Noble let loose some of his technical savvy style of wrestling which he doesn’t always get a chance to show off. Kendrick and Noble traded holds back and forth before Noble shocked the audience by busting out a Tiger Bomb getting the three count on Kendrick. Winner: Jamie Noble Kendrick looked really upset with himself and pleaded London to forgive him. London laughed about how hard Brian took the loss, and told him it was nothing, and they celebrated for the fans before going to the back. Gregory Helms came out and said that he’s done with these little flipping losers. He’s after a new goal; the United States Championship! He calls out Benoit to show he’s worth it to get a shot at Benoit’s title. vs. Chris Benoit vs. Gregory Helms Benoit got a huge pop from the Canadian crowd, and these two just clicked, so this was a great match. Helms showed that he was more than just a high flyer and he gave Benoit a run for his money in the match of the night. Helms however, got too sure of himself and that cost him. He was celebrating his win before it even happened, and Benoit got up, took Helms down with an arm bar and when the Cross face was locked in, Helms had no chance but to tap! Winner: Chris Benoit Following the match, Benoit was celebrating his victory in the ring, playing to the crowd who were eating up the home town star’s victory. Benoit circled the ring, hyping everyone up, when out of nowhere SABU came through the crowd and was standing in the ring. Benoit looked startled and stepped back when he turned around and nearly walked right into the ECW superstar. Sabu had a microphone in hand and he raised it his mouth and spoke but six words. “One Night Stand… One Last Time… I Quit” Benoit smirked, and nodded in agreement! A video is shown hyping Finlay, and then it’s announced that he’s going to take on The Undertaker in a non-title match, next! vs. The Undertaker vs. Finlay Finlay looked like a future champion, taking the fight to the Undertaker, beating him from corner to corner with stiff haymakers and clubbing blows. Finlay lost control of the match when he went to lift the much bigger Undertaker up for a Celtic Cross, which he wasn’t able to hit due to Taker’s size, injuring Finlay’s back, which the Deadman took advantage of. Undertaker worked Finlay’s back over before finally lifting the Irishman onto his shoulder, dropping him with Finlay’s old finisher, the Tombstone Piledriver! Winner: The Undertaker A mysterious hype video is shown, with heavy rock music and static on the titantron, before it fades out with the words “The Revolution Cometh”, leaving the crowd in utter confusion. vs. Kane vs. Batista This was a big giant brawl between two of the biggest superstars in the WWE. Both of these men are coming off a win last week, and a win here could be enough to get them momentum to skyrocket them to a World Heavyweight Championship match. With that in mind, both of the contestants went full tilt and showed the crowd an epic fight. Kane came up short when Batista broke up a Choke Slam with an elbow to the head, and then took out Kane with a monstrous Spine Buster. Winner: Batista Ken Kennedy comes to the ring and introduces himself. He then mocks his opponent as he introduces them, Montel Vontavious Porter. Kennedy pokes fun of his cowardly ways and MVP rushes to the ring and starts brawling with Kennedy to begin our main event! vs. Ken Kennedy vs. Montel Vontavious Porter Two of the fastest rising stars in the company fought in this match with nothing but pride on the line. Kennedy is unstoppable, and Porter is right on his trails, his only shortcoming being his paranoia from dealing with the Undertaker. Mr. Kennedy was at the top of his game tonight, and Porter couldn’t keep his focus on the match, constantly looking out for the Undertaker, a major departure from his smug confidence that he was displaying earlier. The end came when The Undertaker’s music hit, and Porter got a rush of adrenaline, leaving the ring and heading up the ramp thinking the Deadman wouldn’t show. However, when he did step out from behind the curtain, Porter took off in the other direction through the crowd as Kennedy stood in the ring glaring at Taker. Porter gets counted out for the second week in a row, and Taker celebrates to end the show. Winner: Ken Kennedy

Nitro took full advantage of his unique offense full of spin kicks and flips, and it threw Marella for a loop. Nitro looked to have this match put away, as he was stalking Santino and looking to drop him with a flipping neck breaker, when out of nowhere JOEY MERCURY ran to the ring completely unannounced! Melina distracted the ref so Mercury could attack Santino, but to everyone’s surprise, Mercury dropped Nitro with the Intercontinental title! Joey rolled Marella onto Nitro and rolled out of the ring as the ref made the three count! Winner: Santino Marella Johnny Nitro is reeling from his first attack as CHRISTIAN YORK comes through the crowd to join in on the assault! Matthews explains how before there was MNM, in ECW there was York and Matthews. He said that tonight, and come One Night Stand, that’s the way it’ll be, the way it should be. Out of nowhere, Credible, Tajiri, and Psicosis hit the ring. They join York and Matthews, and challenge three more WWE Superduds to come out and make this a match! Immediately the Hardy Boyz come out, which got a crowd pop, but not nearly as much as their team mate; MICK FOLEY!!! The Hardyz got involved though, and it was quite a sight seeing Jeff rescuing his former adversary, but that just showed how much of a serious threat the ECW opponents are. Foley got tagged in and he was a ball of fire, showing he can still go full force even if he’s “past his prime” as many people like to say. Foley finally faced off one on one against Credible and the crowd went crazy. Mick started decking him with stiff right hands and as Credible was reeling, Foley reached into his sweatpants and pulled out the most famous sock in the world and put Mr. Socko on his hand, whipping the crowd into a frenzy. Credible looked terrified and started to back up, but Foley chased after him. Credible finally showed his cowardice when he threw Christian York in front of him, giving Foley a victim for the Mandible Claw, and allowing Credible to flee the ring. Winner: Johnny Nitro, Santino Marella, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Mick Foley A video similar to the one on SmackDown! is show, promoting “The Revolution Cometh”. Dykstra finished off Eugene with a top rope leg drop. Edge looked like he was going to take this one before Mr. Kennedy ran in to interfere, blindsiding Edge with a shot from his briefcase as Carlito had the ref distracted. Carlito added insult to injury by picking up the slumping Edge and dropping him with a Back Cracker. Winner: Carlito Kennedy starts to pick apart the pieces of Edge as he lay prone in the ring, but out of nowhere as Kennedy drags the Rated R superstar to his feet Edge catches his second wind and starts fighting back against Kennedy as the crowd gets behind Edge who fights off Kennedy who rolls out of the ring as Kennedy marches off holding his head and Edge looks on with a possessed look in his eyes. CM Punk comes to the ring, accusing McMahon of ducking him. He says that he figured that Vince was afraid of showing up in ECW, so he’d go to where he knew he’d be! He then calls out Vince McMahon, but instead gets The Great Khali! vs. The Great Khali vs. CM Punk Khali took the offense to Punk and never let go. Punk was in trouble as soon as the match start, with Khali beating him senseless with a series of chops and kicks, which is the extent of Khali’s repertoire, but it was all he needed against CM. Vince McMahon ran down to the ring with a chair in hand, and started yelling at Khali to use it on Punk, to see “how extreme he really is”. The ref threatens to disqualify Khali, but Vince threatens to fire the ref. McMahon as a demonic grin on his face as Khali lifted the chair over his head. As Punk came to, he managed to get out of the way, and kicked the chair into Khali’s face with a Yakuza Kick out of pure instinct. McMahon looked absolutely stunned as Punk slowly struggled to crawl onto the giant and got the upset victory! Winner: CM Punk The referee raised Punk’s hand in victory and he locked eyes with Vince and they had an intense stare down as we went to commercial break. This match went back and forth for a while before it turned into absolute madness. Orton and Cena started to brawl, and this was Edge’s cue to interfere and get revenge on Kennedy for earlier. Another ref ran down and called the match as all four kept brawling. Winner: Draw The brawl continues on with seemingly no end, and no clear winner as the show ends.

Knox came out and did his best to make Credible look like a million dollars, and it worked. Credible nearly took Knox’s head off with a Super Kick to end the match. Winner: Justin Credible Credible grabbed a microphone from the time keeper’s table and cut a promo on Foley and Funk, saying that he’ll make even shorter work of them than he just did with Knox. After Justin Credible and his band of renegades clear out two more obstacles, they’ll be closer to clearing the way for “his” arrival. After a commercial break, Christian York and Joey Matthews come out and issue an open challenge to anyone in the back to come out and face them. Stevie Richards comes out, and grabs the microphone out of Joey Matthews’ hands. He told everyone to get ready, because, tonight…. vs. York and Matthews vs. Stevie Richards & The Blue Meanie This match was a pure comedy match, with Richards and Meanie completely hamming it up. Christian and Joey tried to make this a serious contest, and were getting really frustrated as Richards and Meanie kept mocking them and playing up the crowd. Richards and Meanie threatened that this match was going to end as they went outside and signaled for someone to come from the back. When no one came out, Richards and Meanie gave up and walked to the back, causing a count out as York and Matthews stood there, baffled. Winner: York and Matthews A very aggressive rock song is played over a static screen. As the static slowly fades out, there’s a black screen with red letters “The Revolution Cometh” ECW Original CW Anderson comes to the ring and cuts a brief promo. He hyped up ECW One Night Stand, the heritage of ECW, and then he issued and open challenge. Unfortunately, Snitsky answered the call and Anderson’s fate was sealed on the spot. vs. Snitsky vs. CW Anderson Anderson showed no signs of fear, and stood toe to toe with the much larger Snitsky, and was all heart as Snitsky floored him with a clothesline, and as he started to get up, Snitsky almost took his head off with a big boot and that was enough for the three count. Winner: Snitsky Chris Benoit comes to the ring as Joey Styles hypes up the next match, a mystery partner tag team match pitting Benoit against Sabu. Benoit shocked everyone when he introduced Dean Malenko as his tag team partner. Dean looked to be in great shape still, and the crowd popped at the reunited Shooters, but the celebration was cut short by Sabu’s music. Sabu dropped to his knees, looked to the sky and pointed up, as the arena went black. A heart monitor started, and the crowd went into a frenzy. As the pulse flat lined, there was a huge explosion and the lights came back on as Tazz walked out in an orange baseball jersey and black pants, the fans still going crazy for the former ECW Champion’s in ring return. vs. Sabu & Tazz vs. Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko Everyone backstage held their breath as they watched this match, as there was a lot of back and forth arguing about the physical capabilities of the retired Malenko and Tazz, but it looked like neither of them lost a step. All four men went all out and every fan in attendance was on their feet for this vintage display of what the original ECW was like. Benoit and Tazz traded submission holds back and forth as Sabu tried to use his unorthodox offensive style to keep Malenko off his feet. All four men were in the ring by the end of the match and the ref was merely there to call the finish as the brawl escalated into an absolute brawl. The finish came when Malenko hooked Sabu in a double underhook suplex as Tazz came up behind him and locked in the Tazzmission! Sabu fought off Benoit as Malenko tapped after what seemed like forever. Winner: Sabu & Tazz A very well produced video is shown highlighting all the events of thus far in the war between CM Punk and Vince McMahon. At the end of the video, it says “CM Punk up next!” vs. Psicosis vs. CM Punk Our main event was a contest between the biggest star in ECW right now, going up against Psicosis, who made a huge debut last week. These two went against each other with an incredible display of athleticism in a very luchadores-inspired outing. There were arm drags a plenty as CM Punk showed the variety of his styles. The match spilled to the outside as Psicosis rolled out and Punk dove through the middle ropes onto him. As they went outside, Justin Credible and Tajiri ran down to the ring to defend Psicosis, and were followed by Mick Foley and Terry Funk. The six battled on the outside as the ref counted them out to a draw. Winner: Draw

SmackDown! Friday, Week 3 June 2007 Ken Kennedy starts off SmackDown! with a frustrated promo on how disrespected he was last week. He chastises MVP and the Undertaker for being interrupting a match that was a display of his pure unadulterated talent before laying down a challenge to MVP, in a steel cage, to guarantee the world gets a chance to see how good Ken Kennedy really is! Ashley vs. Jillian Hall This was a basic diva match to display the fact that Ashley has returned from her injury. She went over in a short and simple match. Chavo wins after a Frog Splash. Winner: Chavo Guerrero We see The Undertaker backstage decked out in his full attire, complete with hat and trench coat. He explains that tonight, Porter might be safe from him inside the steel cage, but the next time he’ll be safe is when he’s inside a coffin six feet under! This match was announced on WWE.com, in which the two teams would switch partners, to test their ability with a new ally. Yang and Kendrick used a wide variety of high flying acrobatic maneuvers, while Noble and London took them to the mat to slow down their speedy offense and throw them off their game. The finish came when London hit Yang with a Dropsault, which knocked him backwards into a Tiger Bomb from Jamie Noble for the three count. Noble apologized to the upset Yang, and he accepted, the four men celebrating in the ring together as we go to commercial break. Winner: Paul London & Jamie Noble Upon return, Gregory Helms comes to the ring. He says that he faced a setback in moving out of the Cruiserweight division last week against Chris Benoit last week, but he won’t be discouraged. Tonight, he wants to face another key figure in the United States division, Finlay! After the determination showed by Helms last week and in his pre-match promo, the crowd started to back him, despite his despicably arrogant actions during his reign as Cruiserweight champion. Helms used his high speed offense to keep a step ahead of Finlay, but it all came crashing down when Finlay moved out of the way of a Shining Black and nearly took Helm’s head off with a stiff lariat. A Celtic Cross later and Helms is now zero and two since moving up in the ranks. Winner: Finlay A video is shown to promote the United States Champion, Chris Benoit, who will be making a title defense, next! Boogeyman tried his worm act but Benoit just got pissed off and tore into his challenger, demolishing him with three German Suplexes and a Crippler Crossface to get the easy victory. Winner: Chris Benoit Ken Kennedy came to the ring, making his typical introduction, and tearing into MVP for his “disrespectful” nature as Porter made his way to the ring. The microphone rose back to the ceiling as the cage started to come down to begin our main event. With the security of the cage, Porter showed a level of intensity and determination that we haven’t seen from him in weeks. Both of these men went full tilt and got the crowd riled up for a physically intense contest. Porter was the first one to get busted open, after Kennedy threw him into the cage with a sling shot, and then slammed his face into the cage with a running forearm smash as MVP was catching a breath against the cage. Porter got revenge though, grating Kennedy’s face against the cage, grinding his forehead open, causing a large gash to start flowing blood. These two continued to one up each other the entire time, putting on a five star contest. Kennedy scored the victory with one of the most incredible sights in the WWE in some time, when he dove off the top of the cage, MVP on his shoulders, with a Green Bay Plunge. The crowd was speechless after that maneuver, and it was no surprise that three seconds later Ken Kennedy was your winner. Winner: Ken Kennedy

Jeff and Van Dam have history with each other over the Hardcore Championship in a slew of quality matches that included many crazy ladder spots and this match definitely didn’t let the fans down. Sabu used a chair to achieve many of his favorite spots including his Air Sabu, Arabian Facebuster, and Triple Jump Moonsault, all of which were death defying and had the crowd going crazy. The spot of the night was when RVD laid a ladder on the mat in the corner and set up a semi-unconscious Matt in a tree of woe, his head resting back against the ladder. Sabu then held a chair in front of his face and Van Dam went “Coast to Coast” with a Van Terminator, nearly crushing Matt Hardy’s skull. Jeff was on a giant ladder outside the ring and was about to dive onto RVD as he made the pin on Matt, but Sabu cut him off by throwing a chair at his skull as he came flying through the air, crumpling sickeningly to the mat like a bird that had just been shot. With Jeff unable to get up, and Matt unconscious, that meant a clean, hard earned victory for the ECW originals. Winner: Rob Van Dam & Sabu After we review the replays of the last contest, we are told that two of the company’s monsters are about to lock horns as The Great Khali takes on Snitsky! They both looked liked beasts though, and sold each other’s offense well, with Snitsky looking concerned and human for the first time since joining ECW, as the much larger Khali was often unshaken by his attacks. The match came to an end after Snitsky was attempting the use the ropes to choke out Khali, but Bobby Lashley ran down to the ring and laid out Snitsky with a clothesline and Khali picked up and dropped Snitsky again, this time with a two handed choke bomb. Winner: The Great Khali Vince McMahon came to the ring, and berated Bobby Lashley. He said that for going and interfering in the last match, he’s going to regret it, as right now, we’re going to see Bobby Lashley taking on Shawn Michaels!!! Lashley used his power to dominate Michaels, but it wasn’t a completely one sided contest due to Michaels’ cunning wit. During the match, Vince McMahon came to the ring and dropped Bobby Lashley throat-first across the top rope. Michaels then knocked Lashley out with a Sweet Chin Music. Winner: Shawn Michaels Bobby Lashley looks on frustrated as Vince celebrates on his way to the back as Michaels tries to help him up, but Bobby pushes him away and stares a hole through him for taking advantage of McMahon’s attack as he storms off to the back. JR and The King discuss with concern Bobby’s actions following the match, but then discuss our main event, with oft-opponents CM Punk and Justin Credible taking on John Cena and Edge!!! There was a high level of tension between Cena and Edge, and there was a weird feeling between Punk and Credible, who bumped into each other for the first time. It didn’t take long for partners to start fighting with each other though, as Cena took offense to a very hard blind tag from Edge, which appeared to be more of an open hand slap to the back and they started to argue. Punk and Credible took advantage of this situation when Punk tapped Edge on the shoulder as he turned around into a Super Kick from Justin Credible. Punk went for the pin as Cena looked on in satisfaction, and they were going to get the win, but Credible pushed Punk off and went for the pin himself, allowing Edge to kick out. This caused Punk to get pissed off at Credible. They argued before Punk finally floored Credible with a stiff forearm blow to the face, and then a Go To Sleep on Edge later, Cena was on his way to the back as Edge was out and easy picking for an ECW victory to end the show as CM Punk stood proudly. ECW Tuesday, Week 4 June 2007 We began ECW on a high note following their victorious invasion of RAW the night before. To begin the show Justin Credible, who was one of the invaders last night, came to the ring, microphone in hand. He talked about how great it was to be victorious yet again, and how he was doing his work last night to spread the word and “His” return is closer than ever. Credible told the crowd that they should be fortunate, because through sacrifice and dedication, he is going to grace everyone with the return of the Messiah of Hardcore, the Savior of ECW. Lashley had Matthews on his shoulder and was about to finish him with a Dominator, but Matthews slid off behind and quickly hopped onto the top rope and took Lashley off his feet with a missile dropkick off the top rope. This gave Joey an opportunity to catch his breath, and unbeknownst to him, allow the monster Snitsky to run down and lay Lashley to waste. The referee was distracted by Christian York who was ringside so he didn’t notice anything until Matthews went for the pin. Snitsky’s attack was enough, and Lashley got screwed yet again. Psicosis and Tajiri ran circles around Foley and Funk, but Punk took control for his team, and showed why he is so highly touted by everyone in the wrestling industry. During the match, almost half the ECW roster ran out and a giant brawl broke out, including Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Balls Mahoney, Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, Marcus Cor Von, Matt Striker, Kevin Thorn, Bobby Lashley, Snitsky, the blue World order, and York and Matthews. After the dust settled, Credible and Punk were one on one in the ring, and Credible went for a Superkick, but Punk caught his foot. He spun Credible a full three hundred sixty degrees and kicked him in the gut, ala Stone Cold, and hoisted him onto his shoulder. A swift knee to the face later, and Credible was the victim of a Go To Sleep, and that was it. Winner: CM Punk, Mick Foley & Terry Funk

SmackDown! Friday, Week 4 June 2007 After the opening videos, the explosions, and the introductions from John Bradshaw Layfield and Michael Cole, SmackDown! is interrupted, like RAW, from the blue World order. Blue Meanie plays up the history between him and JBL, which frustrates the commentator who berates The Blue Meanie, the bWo, and ECW in general. Stevie Richards says that on RAW, they took over, and tonight, on SmackDown!, they want to take on three cruiserweights, since that’s what this brand is known for. This brought out Shannon Moore, The Miz, and Funaki. They then warned their opponents that tonight... The cruiserweights got the win after they ran circles around the Blue Meanie who swore to his partners that he could keep up. Winner: Shannon Moore, The Miz, & Funaki Daivari was in the ring waiting for his ECW opponents, and out of nowhere, ECW original Scorpio made his unannounced return. Winner: Scorpio A hype video is shown for the Good Ol’ Boys, and promoting the fact that Jamie Noble is in singles action next! vs. Jamie Noble vs. Guido Maritato This was a solid match up between two of the more technically inclined cruiserweights in the WWE right now. Both of these are Ring of Honor alumni, and they made their former promotion proud by presenting a match with a very astute technical aspect to it. Jamie Noble got the win following a Tiger Bomb. Winner: Jamie Noble Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero came out and talked about the history of ECW. He said that he respects the company for giving lucha libre an opportunity to shine in America, and for that, he wants to challenge any former ECW cruiserweight to take him on one on one! Kash threw all of his weapons at Chavo, and had the champion against the ropes. Chavo had no control of this contest and was just holding on for dear life when Kash put his offense on overdrive and just blew his opponent away. The end of the match came when Kid Kash shocked the world by dropping Chavo Guerrero with a Money Maker, and pinning him to become a two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion!!! Winner; and NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Kid Kash Mick Foley was backstage talking about the wars he’s had in the past. Roadkill used his girth to keep up with his opponents. William Regal brought back the “Power of the Punch” to knock Danny Doring out cold and Taylor fought off Roadkill as SmackDown! picked up another tainted victory. Winner: Regal & Taylor Mike Knox came out to the ring and issued an open challenge to anyone on the SmackDown! roster who wanted to take him on. Much to his dismay, a returning Mark Henry came out to answer his call. Stiff shots were thrown back and forth doing little to no damage, despite all the strength they had behind their punches. Kevin Thorn eventually started to get the advantage after he took Finlay off his feet with a hellacious clothesline. Thorn was on a roll after that, and eventually took the victory with his rope-assisted ace crusher he calls The Dark Kiss. Not a surprise this match quickly broke down into anarchy with partners brawling between each other. The referee ended this match as all eight people tore into each other as we went to commercial. Winner: Draw Tommy Dreamer comes to the ring and placed a challenge to one of the few people to actually get beneath Dreamer’s skin and give him the creeps. That man is the one and only Boogeyman! After the work he did in this match, some people backstage were whispering about a singles push for Dreamer in the near future. Winner: Tommy Dreamer Chris Benoit was backstage talking about his history in ECW, and his match this upcoming weekend. He says tonight, next, he’s going to go to the ring and put his life on the line against a fellow countryman and old friend, Lance Storm!!! vs. Chris Benoit vs. Lance Storm This was a technical wrestling classic, and Lance Storm’s unannounced return shocked the crowd and had them on their feet when his music hit the PA and he came out. Benoit and Storm traded holds back and forth perfectly, and showed all the youngsters in the back what technical wrestling is all out. Lance Storm took this one and started his return on a good note after a Canadian Maple Leaf that got Benoit to tap. Winner: Lance Storm Following the hard fought contest, the two friends hugged and celebrated for the crowd. Mick Foley and Terry Funk came to the ring, and The Undertaker stepped out, and his music was cut off by a giant explosion as Kane came out! vs. Mick Foley & Terry Funk vs. The Undertaker & Kane The Main Event definitely didn’t disappoint in a night of war between the invading ECW and SmackDown!’s superstars who tried to defend their honor on their home turf. The World Heavyweight Champion looked like a man possessed in this contest, brawling with anything that got sent his way and more often than not destroying it. Kane squared off with crazy old Terry Funk, and was surprised by the tenacity of the old man who fought back against Kane, and actually took the advantage with his stiff punches which actually busted open Kane hardstyle. Kane was taken to the back after the right side of his face was swollen shut from Funk haymakers, and this left Taker alone to deal with two of the toughest men in the industry. Taker took out Funk, but turn around right into a Mandible Claw! Taker grabbed Foley by the throat and hoisted him into the air for a Choke Slam, but he didn’t have the back strength, and Foley fell flatly on his feet, and let go of the Mandible Claw, instead choosing the drop Undertaker with a Double Arm DDT, which was enough for the victory. Kane ran to the ring, bandaged and trailed by medical crew he had broken free of, but he was just moments too late. He tended to The Undertaker as Foley and Funk celebrated their win and the momentum they now have going into One Night Stand!!! Punk has had two opportunities in the past which were both spoiled by an influx of McMahon’s lackeys. This time is different however, because we have received word that if anyone attacks CM Punk during this match, Vince McMahon is officially stripped of both his title and all power he has within the WWE. This could be CM Punk’s big opportunity, with nothing holding him back could we finally see a respectable ECW Heavyweight Champion? Tune in to One Night Stand to find out! This Sunday, on Pay-Per-View!!! Extreme Rules Match Justin Credible & Tajiri vs. Mick Foley & Terry Funk Credible and Tajiri have been on a roll since they’ve debuted, defeating all the “sold out relics” in ECW to purify their favorite promotion in able to get things ready for the return of their “messiah”. Mick Foley told them that of all the people they’ve defeated, they haven’t defeated Foley and Funk, and thus the match was made. Funk has come out since then and publicly announced that this will be his absolute last wrestling match and he will retire after the match no matter the result. I Quit Match Chris Benoit vs. Sabu Back in the original ECW, Sabu helped Chris Benoit’s career getting his neck broken in a match with Benoit, earning his “Crippler” moniker. Upon Sabu’s return, they continued the feud, and it eventually grew into a tag feud along with Dean Malenko and Tazz. Sabu showed up on SmackDown! two weeks ago and challenged Benoit one last time, to an I Quit match. Benoit accepted, and the match will happen at One Night Stand. Losing Team Leaves ECW Inferno Match Tommy Dreamer, Balls Mahoney & The Sandman vs. Marcus Cor Von, Matt Striker & Kevin Thorn This long-running feud has been going on for months, and it’s finally reached its boiling point. Elijah Burke was removed from ECW following a loss to CM Punk, but the New Breed has stayed strong despite the loss of its leader. Things have came to a head and they’re finally going to be resolved, because the losing team will be forced to leave ECW forever. Table Match Rob Van Dam vs. Psicosis Justin Credible made his shocking ECW return by blind siding RVD as a way to carry out his “mission”. After that, RVD and Sabu feuded with Credible and Tajiri, before the numbers caught up with them as Psicosis attacked Van Dam during his debut. The participants included the bWo, York and Matthews, CW Anderson, Doring and Roadkill, Lance Storm, Guido Maritato, Mike Knox, Scorpio, and females Ariel, Jazz and Trinity. The last four wrestlers were Lance Storm, Mike Knox, Jazz, and Joey Matthews. Mike Knox was intent on beating on Jazz, as apparently he’s upset by women since his interaction with Kelly Kelly. Matthews wowed the crowd with his flashy removal of Mike Knox. Knox tossed Jazz out of the ring and stood by the ropes yelling and screaming obscenities at Jazz’s unconscious body that laid prone on the ground outside. Matthews sprinted towards Knox, springing off his back over him, and he grabbed him by the head and rolled forward over the top rope, tossing Knox over the ropes with a head scissors/sunset flip maneuver. To keep himself in the match, Matthews held onto the ropes as he flipped over Knox, and skinned the cat back into the ring. Storm took advantage of his situation by blasting Matthews with a Super Kick as Matthews was pulling himself back onto the apron, knocking him to the floor below to win. Winner: Lance Storm A “Revolution Cometh” video is shown, with a new surprise addition to the message, “…At SummerSlam” WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match vs. Kid Kash vs. Chavo Guerrero This was a flashy high speed match between two great cruisers. Guerrero was damned and determined to win his title back to bring the belt to WWE. Chavo’s determination quickly turned to frustration when Kash quickly countered all of his offense and took the lead. Kash took advantage of the frustration and in the end, dropped Chavo with a Money Maker to retain the title! Winner: Kid Kash CM Punk cuts a promo backstage on Vince McMahon. He talks about how their feud is like real life, with the big business corporate thieves trying to hold everyone down. He explains that if it wasn’t for big business con artists there would have never been need for the counter-culture Punk movement, but thanks to heartless fiends like Vince McMahon, there arose a need for freedom fighters like CM Punk. Tonight is the night that the common man will fight back against oppression and tyranny, and he will finally get what has been stolen from him way too many times, tonight we will see CM Punk, ECW Heavyweight Championship!!! Cage Match vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Snitsky Bobby Lashley wasn’t his normal self in this bloody brawl. He seemed spooked by his own shadow, completely out of his mind with paranoia from all of his recent attacks. Snitsky, the sadistic freak that he is, decimated Lashley beating him senselessly, taking advantage of Lashley’s poor mental condition. Snitsky ran Lashley headfirst into the cage over and over, rubbing his head back and forth, with Lashley being too weak to defend himself as he nearly got his face scraped off. The ref checked on Bobby and when he couldn’t respond, he called the match, giving Snitsky the win. Following his victory, Snitsky added insult to injury by hoisting the unconscious Lashley onto his shoulder, and ran him, headfirst, through the cage knocking the wall down, and then tossed him out using Bobby’s own Dominator to inflict a disgusting amount of bodily harm. Winner: Snitsky A video package of all of Van Dam’s biggest moments in his career, from his beginnings, to his current action in the new ECW. Tables Match vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Psicosis This match was a classic vintage ECW match combining great high speed technical wrestling with a heaping helping of hardcore. Van Dam was full of fire and intensity, hoping to rebound from his losses against Credible and Tajiri, and he was looking for revenge since Psicosis chose him as a target to make his shocking debut. Psicosis was in this match to show that he was legitimate and worth being brought in by Credible and Tajiri. The drama of this match revolved around the dozen or so spots of almost being put through the table. Psicosis stuck to wrestling, while Van Dam showed his heritage by using a chair for all of his trademark spots, including a Van Daminator which knocked Psicosis backwards onto the table. Van Dam hopped onto the Top Rope with cat like reflex, and dove off with a Five Star Frog Splash. This put Psicosis through the table and earned Van Dam a hard earned victory which he celebrated in the crowd with his fans. Winner: Rob Van Dam A well put together video for the conclusion of the Originals/New Breed feud is shown, including everything that’s lead up to this moment, from McMahon debuting on ECW promoting Elijah Burke, to the formation of the New Breed, and all the wars they’ve fought since then. It was all on the line tonight, with the losing team going up in flames, literally and figuratively. Three of the sides on the outside of the ring were ablaze, and the winner of this contest was to set all three of their opponents on fire. The first victim in this match was the ever-cowardly Matt Striker, who was the victim of a Nutcracker Suite from Balls right onto a portion of the flames. The sides were quickly evened though, as Balls got thrust into the flames from an unseen Pounce from Marcus Cor Von. The New Breed then took the lead as Kevin Thorn tossed The Sandman into the inferno with a Crucifix Powerbomb. This then put the numbers against the Originals, who were down to only Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer showed the heart of a champion though, and shocked the world when he sidestepped a Pounce from Cor Von which caused him to fall into the blaze. One opponent down, which left just Dreamer and Thorn, who fought like their lives depended on it. The crowd erupted when Dreamer brought a table into the middle of the ring, and lit it on fire while Thorn was dazed. Everyone in attendance held their breath for the ending, which included Kevin lifting Tommy up for a Crucifix Powerbomb but he slipped out behind and kicked Thorn in the stomach as he turned around and hoisted him up onto his shoulders, and then dropped him through the table with a Spicolli Driver. When the bell rang, an exhausted Tommy Dreamer dropped to his knees and celebrated the fact that he successfully defended ECW’s honor. I Quit Match vs. Chris Benoit vs. Sabu This match was a brutal crippling match between two people who have nothing but respect for each other. This brought up the statement from Styles and Tazz “Imagine what they’d do to each other if they were enemies?” Benoit bludgeoned Sabu with disgustingly stiff blows, while Sabu used a chair as his main weapon. Benoit tried to get Sabu to submit by working on his head and shoulder, working towards a Crippler Crossface, while Sabu just tried to beat Benoit’s head in. The crowd popped when Sabu set up a table in two opposite corners. Benoit looked like he was going to be thrust through the table, but he rolled out of the way of an Air Sabu, crushing Sabu through the table. The impact didn’t phase Sabu much, who fought back as Benoit lifted him up and quickly started attack him with his chair again. Benoit ducked a chair shot and got behind him, and threw Sabu through the other table with a high angle German Suplex which looked like it was going to break Sabu’s neck again. Sabu rolled out of the ring and reached under the ring and pulled out a giant spike. He then used the brutal weapon to launch a devastating bloody beating on Benoit that left him bleeding profusely, but still able to fight. Sabu then brought the microphone into the match for the first time by bludgeoning Benoit in the already bleeding head over and over. Benoit finally gained the upper hand when he hit his famous Triple German Suplex spot, and went to the top rope to finish Sabu off with a Flying Headbutt. This backfired when Sabu rolled out of the way and Chris landed face first on the mat, knocking all the breath out of him. Sabu then went for the kill by hitting Benoit in the head with the microphone with his right hand, and then stabbing him in the forehead with the spike with his left hand, over and over in quick succession until Benoit finally screamed for Sabu to stop, at which point an exhausted and broken Sabu lowered the microphone to Benoit’s face, who, almost in tears, said “I Quit” to end this revoltingly brutal match. Winner: Sabu Mick Foley is backstage talking about his current war with Credible and Tajiri. He talks about how Tajiri was still a no-named Young Lion when Foley made his Japanese debut with IWA-Japan, where he faced Terry Funk. He acknowledges both of his opponent’s skill, and their desire, and their determination to complete their mission to bring their “messiah” into existence. But before that, they’re going to have to fight, and beat, two of the craziest old bastards on God’s green earth! There will be blood, there will be broken bodies, and there will be ended careers, and it will be a Nice Day… Bang! Bang! Extreme Rules Match vs. Mick Foley & Terry Funk vs. Justin Credible & Tajiri The first of our two main events was a savage battle between two hardcore veterans and two ECW Originals who are looking to make their name in the new ECW. To say this match was brutal would be an understatement, as it made the previous match look like a diva contest. There was blood and broken bodies and oh so much more. Funk struck first blood when he brought out a ladder and took out Credible and Tajiri at the same time with his patented spinning ladder attack, which busted Credible’s forehead open. Tajiri and Foley traded blows before Foley locked in a Mandible Claw which almost ended the match right then and there before Foley was blindsided by a Singapore Cane shot from Credible. Barbed wire was implemented first by Terry Funk, who wrapped it around his fist and started handing out alarming stiff punches to both his opponents, and once he knocked them down, he would grind his fist into their face, busting them open even more. Credible looked like he was in trouble from this savage beating, but Tajiri came to his aid by nearly taking Terry’s head off with a Buzzsaw Kick. Fire was brought into the match by Mick Foley, who poured lighter fluid onto his barbed wire bat and lit the wood on fire, creating one of the most destructive and horrific weapons ever seen in a WWE ring. He put it to good use too, beating Tajiri within an inch of his life, leaving burn marks and lacerations wherever he hit. Credible, realizing his partner was in danger, stopped the assault by hitting Foley square in the jaw with a Super Kick, knocking him out cold. With Funk being tended to by medical professionals for what looked to be a concussion, there was no one to stop the pin attempt as Credible pinned Foley for the one, two, three to get the clean victory in their most hard-fought contest yet since returning to ECW. Winner: Justin Credible & Tajiri After the match, Terry Funk was helped to his feet by the medical professionals. He half coherently waves to the crowd who goes ballistic for their Hardcore Legend, who is now officially retired. Foley stumbled to his feet a few moments later and gave his mentor a hug and raised his hand in victory, not for the match, but for a historic and legendary career that will be talked about for generations to come. Justin Credible eventually got in the ring with a microphone and begrudgingly congratulates Funk for his career but told him his time is done, and get his old ass out of the ring. Tajiri and Psicosis joined Credible in the ring, and they march toward Foley and Funk who back up and eventually roll out of the ring, Foley helping Funk to the back. Justin Credible talked about his prophecy that he’s been talking about for the past month. He said that now that all of the sacrifices have been made, that now the messiah shall be reborn! ECW Heavyweight Championship Match Last Man Standing Match vs. Vince McMahon vs. CM Punk This had the aura around it of an epic battle, and it definitely delivered. McMahon came out from the back with all of his typical lackeys, Khali, Umaga, Burke, and Shane, and after a group huddle, he sent them back, showing how seriously he took the stipulation of losing his power within his company. Punk came not only to fight, but to silence the critics who’ve said that he isn’t “main event material”. McMahon tried his hardest, but this was CM Punk’s night. He used all of his various styles of martial arts training to beat down on Vince, and received little in return, making this contest quite a one-sided affair, until Vinny Mac resorted to some dirty tactics. He avoided a flurry of blows from Punk and then took out Punk with a Scissor Kick that looked as good as King Booker’s, but twice as devastating. As Punk laid motionless, the referee started to count. Punk stirred at 7, and was to his feet by 9. Vince, now full of his confident swagger, pulled his pant leg up to reveal a lead pipe he had attached to the back of his calf, the destructive force behind his last move. He casually pulled it out of it’s straps he used to hold it down, and pulled his pant leg back down as Punk stood there groggily. Vince went for a homerun swing with the pipe to the side of Punk’s head, which would have been the end of this match and possibly Punk’s career if CM hadn’t have ducked the blow. He retaliated with a flurry of forearm shivers, and took two steps back before launching what would have been a KO shot, but Vince parried the blow with the pipe, taking out Punk’s right arm. A shot to the stomach dropped the straightXedge superstar to his knees, and then Vince used the pipe to choke the life out of CM Punk. Out of nowhere, the lights dimmed, the PA system was flooded by a soft lull of whispers, and a handful of red spotlights whirled through the arena. McMahon let go of Punk and looked around in fear, and the referee abandoned the count, trying to figure out what was going on. This allowed Punk to catch his breath and slowly get to his feet, but that wasn’t important. All the swirling spotlights focused on one point and all the red lights became white, as the arena went dead silent, a man in a pure white suit, with a black shirt underneath which went up past his mouth, and a black top hat. The man carried a cane which he used to slowly walk to the ring. McMahon’s face featured a mix of fear and anger, with the latter winning over as he yelled incoherently at this mystery man as he made his way into the ring. Vince McMahon and the mystery man had an extremely tense stare down before, without any warning, the unknown interferer hit CM Punk in the stomach with the head of his cane, and then a handful of stiff strikes to his side and head. Vince McMahon looked on in confusion before the bell rang, and he realized what had just happened, he had been screwed out of the ECW Championship and every ounce of power within the WWE. Vince looked like he was going to cry before he too got the same treatment as Punk, a stiff shot to the stomach, doubling him over, and several lashing once he was on his knees. Winner, and NEW ECW Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk Vince looked on with a pained expression on his face as Justin Credible, Tajiri, and Psicosis rushed the ring, with security guards following behind them. The guards handcuff Vince McMahon as he’s no longer an employee and thus had no right to be in the ring. Vince started yelling one thing over and over, “Who the hell are you?!?”, to the mystery attacker. The biggest shock in years then happened, as the attacker, Justin Credible’s “Hardcore Messiah” revealed himself, by taking off his hat and tossing it out of the ring, and the pulling down his shirt’s collar to reveal... ... ... ... RAVEN!!! Vince McMahon looked on with a stunned expression as he was drug to the back by police, as Raven, Credible, Tajiri and Psicosis celebrated. But that was not the end of their destruction. Psicosis had a bag with him, and from the bag, he produced a dog collar, which was attached to a long steel chain. Raven took it from his disciple, and secured it around the still unconscious CM Punk’s neck. Tajiri and Credible lift up Punk, and toss him over the top rope as Raven holds onto the chain, effectively hanging him. Raven tied the chain around the rope as Justin Credible continually beats him across the chest and stomach with a kendo stick while Tajiri and Psicosis stomp him with no apparent end. Security and medical officials rush to the ring as Raven and his three henchmen casually exit through the crowd, Raven with the ECW Heavyweight Championship belt around his waist as the show ends with him standing on the barricade in his traditional crucifix position, his minions all on their knees praising him. WOOO! 12 Large! *ahem* Good show, I liked the brutal I Quit match. Poor Vince just got hit with a dose of his own medicine too! The right people went over in Foley/Funk v Creible/Tajiri, too many people book Foley and Funk for who they were and not who they are.

RAW Monday, Week 1 July 2007 RAW began with Shane McMahon coming down to the ring, and discussing the events that transpired at One Night Stand that have left the WWE without any type of authority figure or president. He claims that as the blood son of Vince, he was the next in line. He however, was cut off by the very familiar sound of the music from the “Revolution Cometh” vignettes. A completely unrecognizable shrouded figure appears on the screen and discusses how Raven laid the groundwork for the Revolution this company needs to happen, and he isn’t going to let Shane just ruin everything. He then puts Shane up the gauntlet, saying that between now and SummerSlam, Shane will have a match every week on RAW, and if he wins, he gets one step closer to owning the WWE. If he loses, it’s all over. Shane asks what if he gets to SummerSlam? The figure answers that he’ll finally reveal himself in a One on One match, with the winner gaining control of the WWE. Shane accepts, and the figure announces Shane’s first obstacle, one of his father’s former muscles, The Great Khali!!! The two different teams had two very different style, with WGTT wrestling a style that was very technical, while Murdoch and Cade were solid brawlers who looked like they stepped right out of the time of the territories. The finesse of WGTT was just too much for their opponents, and the match ended when Shelton Benjamin took out Murdoch with a Dragon Whip. Winner: World’s Greatest Tag Team Elijah Burke came to the ring and talked a little bit about his ongoing feud with Ric Flair. He then announced his partner for the tag team match. Kennedy looked like he was in trouble for the first time in months after Marcus hit the Pounce on him, and locked in his patented arm bar. Flair broke the hold, but got blindsided by a flying knee to the stomach from Elijah. This brought Flair to his knees and gave Burke the advantage. Burke raised Flair and propped him up in the corner, and backed up to hit the Elijah Experience. However, the crowd was shocked when Marcus Cor Von cut Burke off with a horrendous Pounce that knocked Burke through the middle ring to the outside. Cor Von rolled Burke back into the ring, and laid the weak Flair on him for the three count to finish the match. Cor Von looked down at his former leader, and then celebrated with Ric Flair and Ken Kennedy. Edge and Michaels argued the most though, not being able to do anything without a standoff. Cena and Orton started arguing when Randy hit the RKO on Michaels and Cena went for the pin. Cena quickly ended that scuffle though, by dropping Orton with a FU. He then hooked Michaels into a STFU and that was enough to end it, as Edge made no attempt to save his partner, who right before falling victim to the RKO slapped the taste out of his mouth. Winner: John Cena & Randy Orton Shane McMahon is shown backstage getting prepared for what could very easily be the fight of his life. Khali was intent on just destroying Shane McMahon, and that’s exactly what happened. Shane was beat from ring post to ring post with no remorse from his giant opponent. That, however, was McMahon’s only saving grace. Khali’s complete disrespect for the rule in decimating Shane McMahon was the turning point in the match. Khali grabbed Shane by his throat with both hands, and dropped him to the mat, nearly breaking his spine. After that, Khali wrapped his giant hands around McMahon’s throat and started to strangle the Boy Wonder. The referee started to count for the illegal move, and when the referee got to the four count, Khali refused to let go, and there was no choice but to disqualify The Great Khali, and miraculously the broken Shane McMahon is one step closer to becoming the new owner of the WWE. Khali stands victoriously over a choking McMahon as the show ends. Winner: Shane McMahon
