Woodsmeister Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 I am doing a 2001 mod for WreSpi 2, i have got a few wrestlers done so far (see list below), anyway im going on holiday on the 20th July so im hoping to get something playable out for then, (daunting task i know) i dont have any plans for this weekend so im hoping to get at least 84 wrestlers and movesets done so people can play the professional league before my holiday. Woodsmeister Posted July 17, 2007 Author Share Posted July 17, 2007 i started with a blank and imported the moves that are most generally used (e.g. punch, punch flurry, bodyslam, suplex, running clothesline) there is quite a few, then i watch a match of the person from back in the day (if i have one) and use wikipedia and various websites (including match reports from websites, DDTdigest is awesome for WCW wrestlers). i dont have generic sets i suppose i could have done it that way but ive got into a habit now and it seems to be working, im still enjoying it and am planning to add as many promotions, wrestlers etc... as i can :) anyway i import the closest thing to the move i can from the default/cornellverse and edit it to the way i think is right and then when ive done them all for that worker i add them via movelist... job done! if i can get it done earlier than thursday i might add some of the workers listed below the 84 people so there is more choice but dont hold me to that :D after my two week break in sunny (hopefully) wales i will add promotions, events, tv shows and more wrestlers. i have been doing tag teams as i go through so those tag team fans hopefully wont be to disapointed. i will try to do a pic pack later on but its not essential for a beta im sure i can get permission to borrow one for now. anyway i better get back to work (actual work not the mod will do that tonight before 5 a-side) while watching ROH Good Times better Memories (think thats the name - Colt Cabana's last show).
