ROF Tag Team Titles The Shooters © vs High And Low I liked their interview, so I'll pick them :p Stevie Stoat vs UK Dragon Still feel like UK Dragon has fallen back a little, although it definitely would not surprise me if he won this match. JD Morgan vs Keith Adams Again, this match could go either way... but I'm going to go with JD this time. ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs Petey Barnes Could be a good match, but I don't think the result is in question.

Predictions ROF Tag Team Titles The Shooters © vs High And Low The High and Low interview had me in stitches again by the way (the interviews actually my favourite part of this dynasty) anyway as for this match the Shooters appeared to have put their brief problems behind them, and I can see them retaining here. Stevie Stoat vs UK Dragon Tough one to call, but I can't help viewing Stoat as a bit of a choker now who has blown several chances of winning the big one, plus U.K Dragon is just better and has a cool mask. JD Morgan vs Keith Adams I don't know how the others are saying this one could go either way. Ok Adams has been undefeated but he's hardly been setting the room on fire and will get jobbed out as soon as he meets someone in the upper tier and J.D fits that bill. The former DAVE Xmas on the other hand looks like he is being built up for an eventual showdown with Merle O'Curle for the title. ROF Championship Merle O’Curle © vs Petey Barnes If Barnes couldn't beat O'Curle whilst he had the boost and confidence of holding two belts, he certainly wont be beating the dominant champion whilst holding a sum total of zero belts.

Despite an opening match defeat to champion Merle O’Curle in the guise of Dave Xmas, he has looked very strong since then and beat Keith Adams last month on Short Fuse. Justin Blackham caught up with the Cross-Atlantic star. JB: Good to meet you, JD. Wow, we’re a bit similar, aren’t we? You’re JD, I’m JB! JD: Yeah, but that’s where the similarity ends, kid. JB: How are you finding ROF so far? JD: Honestly? Easy pickings. Apart from the opening match with O’Curle when I was jet-lagged, I’ve not really been challenged yet. Keith Adams did his best last week, but I’ve never let the cops get the better of me before and I wasn’t going to start now. JB: Sounds like there’s a scoop in there somewhere! JD: Not for you. JB: If it’s challenges you want, I imagine you’ll get exactly that this coming fortnight as you’re scheduled to face company owner and former champion British Samurai. JD: Yeah, Samurai is a good wrestler. He’s got the experience and the know-how in the ring. But if you look at the match objectively – he’s still not got the experience and know-how that I have, nor does he have the wrestling skills. JB: How is the flying going? When I asked UK Dragon not so long ago, he said he didn’t mind it and liked the schedule. You’re a tad older though so… JD: What’s that supposed to mean? JB: Erm…nothing. Just that maybe it takes longer to recuperate as you get further along in your career. JD: JD Morgan is in the best damn shape of his career. I’m wrestling top athletes week in week out over in the States. I’m enjoying coming back to the UK. So to answer your original, rather awkwardly put question, the flying is going fine. JB: Your finisher, the Cross-Atlantic Stretch, looks really dangerous. When did you start using it? JD: That move has served me well for years. I started using it in MOSC back in the day, when I just called it the Morgan Stretch. It was re-christenened when I joined DAVE to play up the fact that I was from England. I’ve put many wrestlers away with that move, and have come across very few that have ever been able to break the hold once it’s on them. JB: What are your goals here in ROF? JD: To win the ROF Championship. Pure and simple. Do you ask every newcomer that question? Because if you do, you should be hearing the same answer over and over again. Everybody that enters a wrestling promotion should have the goal of a top title. If you don’t, then you either don’t have the bottle or you’re a complete waste of space to start with. And JD Morgan won’t be found lacking. JB: Any final message for the other ROF wrestlers? JD: If they’re smart they’ll already have been watching my matches closely and won’t need any message. All they need to know is that JD Morgan is no nonsense, no fear and all business.
Predictions ROF Tag Team Titles The Shooters © vs High And Low British Samurai vs JD Morgan Keith Adams vs Stevie Stoat Non-title match Eric Future vs Merle O’Curle

ROF Tag Team Titles The Shooters © vs High And Low British Samurai vs JD Morgan Keith Adams vs Stevie Stoat Non-title match Eric Future vs Merle O’Curle I really like The Shooters as a tag team but not so much as singles, High and Low as well. Morgan will beat Samurai then Stoat who remains strong with a win over Adams and then UK Dragon before finally getting a nice shot at O'Curle with the possibility of even beatin him. Untill then O'Curle will rack up the wins.

ROF Tag Team Titles The Shooters © vs High And Low This is definately one of those, that could go either way and is the hardest match to call, but I reckon The Shooters will hold onto the tag titles for now, as I feel you have another team being lined up on the horizon to take the belts from them.... British Samurai vs JD Morgan ......Which leads me to another theory......I think that team will involve the loser of this match, it looks like to me you are gradually transitioning Samurai into the tag division with this teacher/student team you have going with Glen Ward, oh I mean Dan Judoka. Morgan gets the win here to continue his strong momentum, towards an eventual showdown with O'Curle. Keith Adams vs Stevie Stoat Stoat is the main-eventer that can't quite get it done, but he's still further up the rung than Adams, who with a bit of momentum with wins over lesser opponents could challenge for something like the Talisman Title, but is unlikely to ever break through into the main event. Non-title match Eric Future vs Merle O’Curle No Brainer

ROF Tag Team Titles The Shooters © vs High And Low I think High and Low have finally made it to gold bearing status British Samurai vs JD Morgan I think Samurai will edge it out, simply through competing in RoF for longer. Keith Adams vs Stevie Stoat Stoat has that extra little bit of class that Adams doesn't have. Non-title match Eric Future vs Merle O’Curle Same old Same old! O'Curle must be begging for some better competition.

UK Dragon has been waiting for this chance to fight for the title once again, and he will make it count. JB: You’ve not had a great record against Merle O’Curle since he has been champion. In total you’ve been in five matches against him, either singles, multi-man or tag, and you’ve lost all five. What is going to make this time diff… UK: Merle O’Curle is a great competitor and there is no shame in losing to him. And UK Dragon has no excuses. Only weak men look for excuses. But on this occasion, I am the best prepared I can be and I am convinced that I am at least a match for O’Curle. He has had his days against UK Dragon, and now it is time for the roles to be reversed. Plus, destiny is calling for UK Dragon, as it was on this precise date last year that I lost my title, and it would be fitting for me to win it back at this event. JB: A couple of ROF fans have been spotted in the audience lately wearing their own version of the Dragon mask and some have said that it looks particularly cool. Have you ever competed without… UK: In my first few years on the UK independent circuit I wrestled as a mere mortal, but during my first tour to Japan I began wearing the mask. The vast majority of super junior wrestlers over there would wear a mask so it was logical to me to follow suit. And the mask gave me extra fire, extra strength and an extra edge. So I continued with it back in Britain and have worn it ever since. JB: You’re a real ROF veteran now. Yes, I have been successful here but there is always more to do. Wrestlers improve their skills and become new challenges when you meet them again. New wrestlers appear for you to test your skills against. Every match is different, and when you have that inner fire burning, that is all the incentive you need. JB: Any last thoughts or words for Merle O’C… UK: Only that as much as I respect his talents as a wrestler, he has held on to that title for long enough and the Dragon will now be reclaiming it.
