Carlito has had the upper hand, and no doubt will do in their first ever matchup for the Multicontinental Championship. Eduardo (formerly Eddie Colon) has been on a role recently, despite being beaten senseless by his brother Carlito, Eddie has vowed to gain revenge, and Mania could well see a big upset for the younger Colon brother! After Adrenaline Rush came in to interfere in their matchup, it was apparent that they had played right into the Dudley's trap, and both were hit with 3D's through tables. Paul Heyman made the match, and the Dudley's came out victorious to become 9 time ECW Tag champs! Can Adrenaline Rush overcome the Dudley's like they have time and time before? or will the Dudley Boys be able to retain their gold at WrestleMania this week? Can Marshall beat 9 other men with his Knockout Punch, or will he choke them all out to win his first ever wrestling singles title? Cody was given the opportunity by Paul Heyman to take on Heidenreich to be the final entrant of this 10 man title Challenge, and, with his father in his corner, anything could happen! Simeone is still recovering from his last match however, and whilst sporting bandages around his ribs, could well be one of the first eliminated. [img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/Other/KaneTitle.jpg[/img] Kane Ever since facing Mick Foley two months ago at Breakin' Point Kane has not been the same, facing Heidenreich at Extreme Warfare was definately the final step in his change, throwing Heidenreich into the Sea when having an impromptu Harbour Brawl. Kane has since been seen setting his opponents on fire to win ever match since, will the Big Red Machine bring his fire to this match? and if he does, who will stand in his way? The odds of Kane walking away with the win have to be very high indeed! A master in technical wrestling, and a good high flier aswell, Johnstone has youth on his side, but has very little experience, and this is his first ever title shot, so you have to wonder how well the young Canadian will do! [img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/Other/NDPTitle.jpg[/img] NDP NDP has the future in his hands, defeating some of the bigger names in ECW in recent months, he has been on a role, and is going into the title match looking strong. Maybe not one of the "probable" victors, NDP definately has all the tools to pull off the surprise victory. The ****yest wrestler around today? or, one of the better wrestlers of his Generation? You decide, whichever way you look at him, he is, however, one of the strongest contenders going into this matchup, and after defeating long time rival Tank Abbott to qualify, Orton defiantely seems to be taking a Mean Streak into the match to help him come out victorious. RVD is a former ECW champion, and definately has the experience, and knowledge of Hardcore to help him to victory in this match. Maybe, but he earnt it, beating Ken Kennedy to progress to the title matchup. Shelton has already stated that despite being an Underdog, he'd much rather be in the title match, than have lost and gone towards the Money in the Bank matchup. Damn! talk about killing off part of your roster! - Heyman with a "brutal" chair shot on Rock - Rock just turns around and no sells it, hits a Rock Bottom for the win. - OHMYGAAAAAAAWD! Heyman's gone from ECW! Rhino comes out, and despite being the 'bad guy', he's heavily cheered! - Punk and Rhino take the fight outside - Chairs are used first, a miniature duel starts - Onto Singapore Canes now....and we've got a Fencing like duel going on now, brilliant, the fans are loving it! - Comedy chairshot from Rhino sees him knock himself cold thanks to the chair bouncing off the ropes and back into his face - Who'd have thought that this would turn into a comedy match!? - CM Punk with a GTS - Punk retai....no! Rhino kicks out! - Punk runs outside and brings a table in - The tables set up in the corner - Punk turns around..... - .................Gore! GORE!!! This week sees Rhino defend his title once again, however this week against up and comer Marcus Johnstone, will the youngster manage to score the upset? or will the veteran Rhino come out on top? What role, if any, will CM Punk play in this matchup? Legend Jimmy Snuka took on Shelton Benjamin last week, and by all accounts was cost the victory by NDP, Snuka will not be in action this week, however, NDP has announced that he will be, and immediately after his match, he will give Snuka a choice, what that is right now, noone is sure of, but this could be the make or break point of the young Italian's career. ECW World Champion has also told ECW.com that he has a special announcement for this week's Hardcore TV, this could have something to do with The Rock allowing Jericho to select his own challenger for Adrenaline Crush, but we can't be 100% certain on this. Adrenaline Rush have been having some problems recently, ever since losing to the Dudley Boys, AR haven't been the same since, and after WrestleMania, they seem to have been trying to go their seperate ways, which isn't pleasing either man. Watch Hardcore TV this week to see what further develops between these two men. We saw Colt Cabana debut his new pet Moose at the last Hardcore TV show, Marcus Cor Von was not impressed by the Moose, and exclusively told ECW.com that he hated the Moose, and was looking to have it banished from ECW! Justin Credible felt the force of the Moose at the ECW on YouTube show last week as well, seeing the Moose destroy his life size cut out of himself, JC and Cor Von have said they wil join forces if they have to to get rid of that "damn Moose", will they succeed in doing so? or will the Moose be too much to handle? Slim to none, why? Because Jericho has announced that Terry Funk shall be taking on Kane in a rematch of what seemed to be the turning point in Kane's ECW Career. The Rock seemed more angry and upset last week than we've ever seen him, obviously feeling disrespected he has informed ECW.com that he has a special present for ECW, and it's one that they will [i]love[/i]! Marcus Cor Von was outsmarted last week by a Squirrel, this week he has a few things he wants to get off his chest. What will Cor Von have to say? And will this have anything to do with Colt Cabana and his "damn" Moose? Finally, Adrenaline Rush have been on somesort of losing streak recently and it really seems to be getting to their friendship. ECW's current direction of the company seems to be going well, they have managed to surpass Raw and SmackDown!'s popularity in recent weeks, and all within ECW ares said to be pleased by this news. Obviously the McMahon's are not too happy that their "C" show is doing better than their others. Development news, and ECW are said to be once again looking at options for new development territories. After deciding not to go after RQW in England as a European base, there is now talk of their being a Mexican developmental territory started. No word as to which wompany would be considered. however talks are under way with several companies. There is also talk of Canadian and Japanese developmental programs being put in place, but no further news has been reported on them as of yet. Chris Sabin! Where is he? Well, he's sitting at home doing nothing at the moment. After being "put out of action" by Adrenaline Rush some months ago, he has been doing nothing but pick up his monthly pay cheque. Creative are said to have nothing for him after he and Shelley were not getting over with the crowd. Alex Shelley remains on the active roster, however is not making many appearances. There is also talk of other current "inactive" roster members being sent home, creative seem to be only thinking up ideas for those on the "A" show at the moment (Hardcore TV) and aren't really too bothered by ECW's ECW on YoUTube so aren't really using that as a base for anything. No severe roster cuts are being planned. The storylines seem to be hooking a few people in, Cabana's Moose seems to be the most popular right now, we've had a lot of comments on our message board about Cabana being the perfect person to lead the storyline, and he doesn't look to dissapoint. RJ Styles is getting somesort of a push in the coming months, we saw Mark Henry help him out these post few weeks, and judging by his reactions, i would say we're going to see a face turn for the youngster, not sure whether the fans wll buy it though. Kane's run as a fire loving monster seems to be no where near ending, the problem is, is that everyone knows what to expect, despite him being a good guy, he's buring people of both face and heel alignments, and enjoying it, and the fans are now starting to become confused with the characters direction. However, he does seem the strongest candidate right now to take the ECW World ttile from Jericho. Ok, onto last weeks tapings. ECW on YouTube was actually a show to watch this week. The opening match of Colt Cabana (with Moose!) taking on Marcus Cor Von was ideally a try out for their end of fued blowout match, and it got some good reviews, once they get a little more over with the crowd i'm sure the match will be of better quality. Balls Mahoney took on Tank Abbott who seems to be a jobber despite his immense popularity, losing to Balls really put a question mark over his future, however with Ken Shamrock being at ringside, it does seem like he may be getting somesort of a storyline in the coming weeks. The Demolition Bashams match was really just a squash match to prove they can beat anyone right now, obviously they're building them up as the Dudley's first real threat to their titles. And finally, the Main Event, the ECW MultiContinental title changed hands, on free TV! And on the lesser show no doubt! Well, the match itself was good, alot of workers working well with each other, Heidenreich being in there made little to no sense, but, he served his purpose. Mark Henry coming down and giving Styles the win for the second time in as many weeks did spoil the match, but, if the planned storylie for RJ is of anything to go by, you can understand why this has happened. Onto Hardcore TV. A good show, but it was rather mismatched. We weren't told of our main event at any time during the program, or even the lead in to it, but we were told it was another "Rankings" match, and that we should expect these until a new number 1 contender was crowned. The tag title match made little sense as they weren't needed to get any storyline point across. Adrenaline Rush has finally broke up! A good segment saw them end, and hopefully these guys won't dissapoint come the aptly named Adrenaline Crush. Kane once again set Terry Funk on fire! Vader made his debut in ECW! Coming in as The Rock's henchman to do all his dirty work, i'd expect, after the "sitting at home" plan that some workers are getting, that whoever Vader faces will be taking breaks due to creative's lack of creativity. Cody Rhodes really has come along way since debuting, and his and Jericho's match really could have cut it at the PPV, with Rhodes winning the title, even if just for the few seconds, it really showed through the crowd how much they'd buy him as a champion further down the line, and finally, the NDP vs Snuka match, these two guys put on a good showing, but let's face it, Snuka's getting older, he's not as mobile as he once was, so NDP is having to carry these matches, i'm hoping, for Snuka's sake, that their match at Adrenaline Crush will be their final encounter, and Snuka's for quite some time.
