You could hear people shout stuff like “This is more boring than cricket!” and that kind of stuff. The most talented guy won and that’s the only good thing about this match. After the show we heard Waldo Odlaw was diagnosed with a Spinal Disalignment and will be out of action for 2 months. Valentine defeated Weird Waldo Odlaw in 5:37 by pinfall. F

Remmington Remus: “What you are going to see here today is something very unique. A race on a wrestling show. A race against the clock. Frankie Dee and Roderick will compete in a who-makes-him-tap-first match. We’ve selected two similar skilled wrestlers to be their opponents, Ben Williams and Keith Vegas. The winner gets to face Al Coleman next week for the belt.” F
VS
Ben Williams vs. Frankie Dee The vocal crowd made the dislike of Ben Williams clear. Dee was on the offense all the time, but Williams refused to tap out. After struggling several minutes Williams finally does. Remus started very focused and had the upper hand from the first second. At 6:57 he locks in the Remus Clutch, he only has about 30 seconds left to win the race. At 7:25 Vegas taps meaning Roderick won the race with a margin of 7 seconds. Roderick Remus defeated Keith Vegas in 7:25 by submission with a Remus Clutch. Well since we probably don’t have a stretcher around here, let’s make it a wheelbarrow match! The first to get the other in the wheel barrow wins the match. Mark Smart: "Yup, but it isn't me who he's going to fight. You see, I know a few people in the business that would love to help me out here! I'll give one of my guys a call. So next week Al Coleman puts his title on the line against a Mystery Opponent."
Nice run from Jesse Christian. It was a good way to bring a talented and somewhat over guy to help your roster.
Yup, but it cost me buckloads of money. Although he only asks about 650 a night I already spent double as much this month as I did last month. Meaning I only have about 10.000 left :( Guess I'll have to take a month off after April or so.

They were each other’s equal and it could’ve gone either way. The match ended when Tigre hit a top rope dropkick and Frankie kicked him out of the air with the Shinanju Kick. Both moves hit and both wrestlers are down. The ref starts counting and amazingly no one can beat the 10-count. Frankie Dee drew with Tigre Salvaje Jr in 12:08 following a double 10-count. NEWS:
2007 - April - Week 3 - I predicted it a few weeks ago (I know, I’m good), Bruce The Giant signed a written deal with TCW. Bruce has already won world titles in SWF, BHOTWG and USPW and is now looking to add TCW to that list. - Bruce The Giant isn’t the only one that signed with TCW. They’ve also come to an agreement with former SWF wrestler Freddie Datsun and some you former football player named Bulldozer Brandon Smith. - A few days after those reports another announcement has been made by TCW, stating they have signed Jungle Jack Marlowe to a written deal. He must’ve appeared back on their radar when he started working for NYCW earlier this year. - An interesting not about TCW’s recent signing spree is that they also tried to steal Shawn Gonzales away from DAVE but he told them he’d rather stay with DAVE. - Whereas everything seems to be running smooth at TCW, SWF seems to have hit a new low. Their shows are starting to get worse and worse. At the moment they have Eric Eisen headlining their shows. They have fallen to what I call cult size. Yesterday evening they fired no less than 9 people. Let’s take a look at who they fired and what they’ve accomplished with SWF. ---> Mikel Alonso: He was pretty doomed after the ‘Flex and Pecs’ tag team split up. He’s been on an 8 match losing streak before getting fired last night. I think he’ll end up back in USPW within this and a year. ---> Jim Force: Only wrestled in two matches since being signed in January. He lost both matches. I don’t know if they’ll want him back at USPW and the other promotion he’d fit in is NYCW. I think Force will have a hard time finding work again. ---> Knuckles: Death Row looked a promising new tag team in SWF. But once again the bookers failed to find a suitable storyline for them. After losing a handicap match with Bart Biggz against Frederique. He’s still young and has plenty of options where to go next. ---> Shady K: A bit the same as his Death Row partner, they couldn’t find anything for him creative. He got jobbed out the last month in singles matches. ---> Andre Jones: An average skilled wrestler that got jobbed out on all their shows, putting over guys like Marc Dubois and Kurt Laramee. Should be able to find a job with DAVE, USPW or CZCW pretty soon. ---> Darryl Devine: Was brought in as one of the next big things. Had a decent fued with Zimmy Bumfhole for the Shooting Star title, but that’s pretty much it. He’d fit in with any other North American promotion really. ---> Non wrestlers: Dawn The Cheerleader, Duane Fry and Shane Stones.
NEWS:
2007 - April - Week 4 - TCW continue their signing spree as they just signed recently released Darryl Devine to a written deal. A good move by them as Devine is great in the ring and on the microphone. You’d wonder why SWF didn’t push him. He’s not the only recently released worker that signs with TCW as both Duane Fry and Dawn The Cheerleader penned a deal as well. - SWF’s downfall continues as the network on which their show airs told them that the ratings have to improve. If that doesn’t happen, they might cut the show. - Former CZCW wrestler Dean ‘The Machine’ Daniels signed a developmental deal with PGHW and has been sent to SAISHO. - Looks like NYCW are making some good moves, I think this is because Stomper is no longer getting hit on the head. They just signed The Natural to their roster.
Looks like he’ll be opening their shows as well. - Enygma won the SWF North American title last night. He defeated Rich Money for it. - SWF’s TV shows “SWF Crush ‘Em” and “SWF Supreme TV” have both been canceled by the network. - Rocky Golden lost his TCW International Championship to Rick Law on TCW’s TV show. - Hell Monkey won the GCG Openweight title by defeating Takayuki 2000 for it. - Lots of title changes at SWF this week, looks like they want to turn it around. Akima Brave won the Shooting Star title and Squeeky McClean and Joe Sexy won the SWF World Tag Team Titles. Now we just have to wait until Runaway Train gives his belt away. - The Natural defeated Edd Stone for the NOTBPW Unlimited Action Championship. - This seems to be Title changing month… Honest Frank won the NYCW Tri-State Regional title. - Whippy The Clown is NOTBPW’s newest signing. This means he has to leave 4C and CGC. - BIG NEWS: Skull DeBones turned down SWF’s latest contract offer and will be leaving the company soon! - USPW has a new world champion! NEWS:
2007 - June - Week 1, 2, 3 & 4 - WLW’s and PGHW’s tours ended, let’s take a look at what our Americans, Brits and Canadians achieved over there. -----> Barry Griffin: Wrestled 13 matches for PGHW, only won 3 of them. His matches were decent, nothing really outstanding, but good enough to get another touring contract with them somewhere down the line. My score: 6/10 -----> Jacob Jett: His first tour ever in Japan, so he had to pay his dues a bit over there. He wrestled in 18 matches for WLW, but couldn’t win any of them. His matches weren’t all that good either. He got beaten by people like The Tic and Panda Mask II. Something that would never happen in 4C or any other North American promotion. My score: 3/10 - There are rumors going around about everyone’s favorite patriot, Captain USA is retiring next month. - Edd Stone apparently went complaining with his dad as he already won back the NOTBPW Unlimited Action championship from The Natural. - Jimmy Cox, who’s written deal with GCG is running out signed a pay-per-appearance deal with PGHW. He will be someone to look out for on their next show. In other news, former Puerto Rican shoot-fighter Billy Russell signed a touring contract with them. - Henry Lee, a man who’s probably never even tried to climb to the top rope has signed a touring contract with WLW. I wonder how that’ll turn out. - “The Triple Threat” Davis Wayne Newton will make his professional debut with NOTBPW on one of their next shows. It’s quite extraordinary for a rookie to immediately get picked up by a big promotion like NOTBPW. - Woah, Sam Keith (who’s on a ppa deal with SWF at the moment) has signed a touring contract with PGHW. This isn’t the first time he goes to Japan. He already wrestled for BHOTWG in the late eighties, he won their world title there. Knowing the Japanese people, I’m sure they haven’t forgotten him. - Eddie Chandler’s CGC Canadian title reign ended as he lost it to John Maverick, who seems to be on the road back as this time last year he was a world champion. - Fox Mask is going on tour with WLW. It was always his dream to wrestle in Japan. - SWF-reject Jim Force is going to bring the force to Canada. He signed a ppa contract with CGC. - Following former USPW World Champion Bruce The Giant, T-Rex follows his precedent, as he as well turned down USPW’s latest contract extension offer. I don’t think the old dinosaur will make it to TCW though. - Skull DeBones has now officially left SWF. THANK YOU FOR THE RESPONSES. INDEED, STANLEY HALL IS THE MOST AFFORDABLE OPTION, BUT THAT’S MAW’S TURF. AH WELL, SOME COMPETITION DOESN’T HURT, RIGHT?
(OOC: Lots of news posts, I know...
When do you give a chane to the Velocidade (or something like that) for the championship?
Time will tell my friend. ;) I'm a bit torn on him though, he's the only undefeated guy on my roster and feeding him to Frankie Dee would mean he ends the undefeated streak. I'd rather get his overness up some more so he's able to carry my promotion. At this point I don't think he's capable of doing that yet. His matches were always good but never outstanding.

Then make Velocidad wins by DQ :P Or at least make him win in a Non Title Match, Velocidad is problably your most over wrestler in your Backyard Federation, if you put him at the most over possible you will have more chances of rising up quickly :)
