Paul Orndorff was offered a contract by WWF and Paul Ellering was offered a contract by AJW. Not before being offered a contract extension by GCW. TJ Hooker's goals under Jim Barnett (GCW owner) are as follows: Goal #1 : CRITICAL - GCW must not be in debt when the time expires. Goal #2 : BLOCK - GCW cannot sign any wrestler with less than a C- grade in Resilience. Goal #3 : BLOCK - GCW cannot sign or re-sign anybody who is a heavy drinker. GCW has 23 months and 3 weeks (1 year, 11 months and 3 weeks) to achieve all 3 goals.

Tully Blanchard has rejected the offer with GCW and has decided to stay in SWCW. Paul Orndorff has renewed his GCW contract for another 9 months. Don Muraco has signed a contract with GCW for 18 months. Muraco will debut with GCW next Monday, April 15, 1983. Adrian Adonis and Fantasma have both signed contracts with GCW for 9 months. GCW has offered a contract to Fabulous Freebird, Michael Hayes.
