The game was started using data from December 2000. ECW started with £10,000 and no TV Show. I’ve played a month in the game so far to make things a bit more interesting, so it officially starts in January 2001. He has taken the company from its previous owner Paul Heyman and invested £2,000,000 into the company in an attempt to save it from going bankrupt. Paul Heyman will continue in the role of ‘Head Booker’ for ECW and with his creative mind and the financial backing of Hughes, ECW is set to rise further than ever before in professional wrestling. [B][U]15 Superstars released by ECW[/U][/B] ECW have released the following superstars – Anthony Durante, Bilvis Wesley, Chilly Willy, Chris Chetti, Chris Hamrick, Chris Kreuger, Christian York, Ez Money, Jack Victory, Joey Matthews, Simon Diamond, Spanish Angel, Swinger, The Blue Boy and The Prodigy. The ECW management have some exciting new signings ready to join the roster. [B][U]ECW Shows Cancelled[/U][/B] Paul Heyman released a press statement earlier today announcing that all ECW shows have been cancelled. ECW were due to host Massacre on 34th Street as well as another show this month but neither will be happening. He then went on to say that on January 1st ECW will release a list of 12 pay per view events, one for each month of the year, the events are going to be two and a half hours long. He also stated that ECW are trying to get back on the air as soon as possible unfortunately though that will have to wait until March because the TV Networks don’t start negotiating new TV shows until February. ECW will be hosting weekly 1 hour events around America until that time when they hope to be on Television once again. [B][U]8 Wrestlers Brought Into ECW[/U][/B] After the shocking releases of 15 wrestlers ECW have announced that they have agreed deals to bring in 8 new superstars.
